Attleboro, 52 @ North Attleboro, 55 – Final (OT) – Junior Kyle Gaumond drained a three with 13 seconds left in a tie game in overtime to lift the Rocketeers. Gaumond took an outlet pass off a steal and buried the three, giving him a team-best 13 points. Senior Conor Carmichael and sophomore Brent Doherty each had 12 points for the Rocketeers. Attleboro was led by Kyle Murphy, who had 20 points, and sophomore Jake Dunkley added 13 points.
Canton, 40 @ Stoughton, 51 – Final – Stoughton point guard Mike Manning led the Black Knights with 14 points after shooting 14-18 from the line. Dennis Rebello added nine points and eight rebounds and David Wilson had seven points, eight boards, and two blocks. Canton was led by junior Griffin Jerrier with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Woanyen Mahn with eight points.
Foxboro, 70 @ Milford, 60 – Final – Alex DuBrow recorded his second consecutive double-double with 20 points and 10 assists while sophomore Mark Clagg continued to heat up with 15 points. Rob Lowey added 12 points and Cam Seeley had 10 points. Milford, who led through three quarters, was paced by Brian Kibbee’s 20 points while Alex Croteau added 14 points and junior Dwight Anderson had 12 points.
Franklin, 68 @ King Philip, 53 – Final – Franklin senior Marcus Giese led all scorers with 17 points while classmate Markus Bohmiller continues to produce offensively as he scored 15 points. Dylan Reno added 13 points for the Panthers. Ryan Layman led King Philip with 12 points while James O’Brien added 11 points.
Taunton, 51 @ Mansfield, 78 – Final – Mansfield’s Ryan Boulter dropped a game-best 35 points, 18 of which came in the first quarter, as the Hornets rolled to a win. Boulter added six boards while Nick Baskin dropped 16 points and Michael Boen had eight points and 11 assists. Corey Green paced Taunton with 15 points while sophomore EJ Dambreville had four points, 12 boards and five assists.
Sharon, 53 @ Oliver Ames, 72 – Final – Ryan Carney paced the Tigers with 22 points while Franklin Holgate added 14 points and Chris Kyne scored 12 points.
Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 54 @ North Attleboro, 69 – Final – The Rocketeers were led by sophomore Ashley Ahern with 19 points, including five threes, and Melissa Beaupre with 18 points. North broke the game open with a 20-10 third quarter and scored 25 points off Attleboro turnovers in the game. The Bombardiers were paced by Sarah Deyo with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Emily Houle, who finished with 19 points and eight rebounds.
Canton, 75 @ Stoughton, 39 – Final – The Bulldogs outscored Stoughton 44-21 in the second half to pull away for a big win. Canton was led by Gabby Kenefick with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Emma Murphy scored 13 points and grabbed six boards, freshman Jess Powers scored 12 points, and Meaghan Hunter finished with 11 points. Stoughton’s top scorer was Alecia Quinones with 10 points and six rebounds.
Foxboro, 66 @ Milford, 51 – Final – Foxboro senior Kat Tamulionis scored a team-best 21 points while sophomore Kristen Bortolotti chipped in with 14 points for the Warriors, who have now won four straight games.
Franklin, 70 @ King Philip, 33 – Final
Taunton, 27 @ Mansfield, 39 – Final – Alyssa Kelley led the way with 13 points for the Hornets while grabbing three rebounds. Jackie Carchedi had 10 points and three boards and three steals while Meg Hill had four points, six boards and four blocks. Jordan Wade had a team-best 11 points for the Tigers.
Sharon, 41 @ Oliver Ames, 60 – Final – Sophomore Francesca Calabraro led the Tigers in scoring for the second straight night, this time dropping 16 points while added five steals. Niyera Mitchell had another strong showing against Sharon, this time with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Kaitlyn McCarthy finished with 12 points. Alyssa Piazza paced the Eagles with a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. Charlotte Ransom added nine points on three treys for Sharon. OA qualified for the state tournament with the win.
