Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin shined from the service line and went on to sweep the visiting Bombardiers, 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-8). The Panthers recorded 23 aces as a team with junior Cailyn Mackintosh leading the way with eight aces. Meghan Linkkila and Taylor Lacerda each added six aces and Ally Bonnet-Eymard added three aces to go along with nine kills. Lindsey Tarantola (four kills) and Emma Chase (three kills) both played well at the net for the hosts.
North Attleboro, 0 @ Sharon, 3 – Final
King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – King Philip kept its division title hopes alive with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-10) win on the road at Taunton. The Warriors had a strong day serving as Lauren Peterson notched 16 service points and three aces and Nicole Coughlan added four aces and 15 service points, along with 13 kills. Ahunna James also played well at the net for KP with 11 kills while Emma Brooks added 11 digs, three aces, and two kills.
Boys Winter Track
Stoughton, 55 @ Canton, 45 – Final – For Canton, Jonathan Chery was a double-winner and also had a second place finish in a close loss to Stoughton. Chery won both the 100M (11.0) and the 200M (22.4) while taking second in the high jump (5’4″). Jack Hernon was the winner for the 1 Mile race (5:08.4) and crossed second in the 800M (2:13.5).
Girls Winter Track
Stoughton 38, Canton 62 – Final – Canton’s Maddie Rousseau and Kiara Cerruti were both double-winners for the Bulldogs in a win over visiting Stoughton. Rousseau crossed first in the 200M (26.3), won the long jump (15’8.25″), and took second in the high jump (4’8″) while Cerruti won both the 1 Mile (5:54) and the 800M (2:40.3). Kiley Hanlon won the 100M (12.8), took second in the 200M (26.3) and was third in the high jump, Leah Murphy also had a first place (high jump, 4’8″) and second place (100M hurdles, 17.9), and Corrine Campbell had a pair of second place finishes.

Franklin, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Franklin inched closer to a share of another Kelley-Rex division title, this time with a sweep on the road, 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-18), at Attleboro. Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 25 assists in the win while senior Ally Bonnet-Eymard did a little bit of everything with 11 kills, 11 digs, four aces, and a block.
Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Canton defended home court against visiting Foxboro and clinched at least a share of yet another Davenport division title with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-18) win over the Warriors. Seniors Simela Donovan, Nikki Desjardins, Stephanie Trendell, and Kaitlyn Irons all played well defensively while Shannon Malloy and Lily Hazam had strong showings at the net in the win. Liz Bickett (17 kills, six blocks, 11 digs), Angie Elias (nine kills, five digs), and Jackie Morrissey (26 assists, nine digs) all continued to play well for Canton.
Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Mansfield prevailed in a tight first set and went on to complete the sweep, 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-13), on the road at Milford. Alina Nowakowski had a big all around game for the Hornets with 10 kills, 13 digs, two aces, and two blocks. Olivia McGrath added 14 digs, six kills and three aces while Kacey Veiking chipped in with four kills, three digs, and a block.
Stoughton @ Oliver Ames – Postponed to Thursday, 4/8 at 6:30.
Boys Winter Track
King Philip @ Franklin, 3:45
Canton, 46 @ Oliver Ames, 54 – Final – Jonathan Chery set a new PR in the high jump and won both the 100M and the 200M but Oliver Ames prevailed in a close meet. Deyontai Dennis was a double-winner for the Bulldogs, taking first in both the long jump and the 110M hurdles while grabbing second in the 200M.
Girls Winter Track
King Philip @ Franklin, 3:45
Canton, 42 @ Oliver Ames, 58 – Final – Maddie Rousseau was a triple-winner for the Bulldogs but Oliver Ames took first overall. Rousseau won the high jump with a PR of 5′ and was also first in the 200M and the long jump. Leah Murphy added a first place finish in the 100M hurdles and took third in the long jump.

Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 26 assists in the win while Ally Bonnet-Eymard (eight kills, 11 digs), Lindsey Tarantola (seven kills), and Emma Chase (six kills, two blocks, two aces) paced the attack for Franklin. Alina Nowakowski (nine kills, eight digs) led the charge offensively for Mansfield while Olivia McGrath (five kills, eight aces) and Julia Kelly each registered 18 digs apiece.

Franklin put together an impressive overall performance to earn the 25-12, 25-19, 25-10 victory that puts the Panthers half a game ahead of KP in the division standings. Franklin never trailed at any point in the match. Ally Bonnet-Eymard led the way with 18 kills and eight digs and Taylor Lacerda chipped in with five kills. Cailyn Mackintosh continued her strong season with 27 assists and six digs.

Mansfield, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Mansfield went on the road and won in three straight for the sweep (25-12, 25-20, 25-17). The Hornets had a strong showing from the service line including 12 aces from Olivia McGrath (five kills, eight digs), five aces from Lauren Knight, three aces from Nicole Santos, and two aces from Julia Kelly (five kills, six digs).

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – After dropping the first set, Oliver Ames rallied to win three straight, including two sets that went past the 25-point threshold (22-25, 25-12, 29-27, 29-27). Sharon came out with a 25-22 win in the first set but the Tigers tied things up with a 25-12 win in the second set to make it 1-1. OA went on to edge Sharon in the final two sets, 29-27. Senior Tori Harney had a big game for the Tigers with 12 kills and four blocks, senior Sarah Morley added 27 digs and 26 serve receptions, junior Hadley Rhodes had 32 assists, and junior Amanda Barth chipped in eight ace and eight digs.
Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-19) win on the road at Taunton. Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 26 assists in the win while Ally Bonnet-Eymard (eight kills) and Taylor Lacerda (six kills) paced the offense.

Volleyball
Franklin, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – After being swept by the Panthers on the road earlier this week, King Philip avenged that loss with a 3-2 (21-25, 25-21, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10) win over Franklin on Saturday afternoon to split the regular season series. After Franklin took the first set, KP bounced back with two straight wins but the Panthers stayed alive with a win in the fourth, forcing a deciding fifth set. Senior Nicole Coughlan had a strong day at the net with 20 kills along with four aces while sophomore Ahunna James added 10 kills in the win. Emma Brooks (30 digs) and Lily Carlow (15 digs) anchored the defense against a strong Panther attack. For Franklin, Ally Bonnet-Eymard had nine kills and Lindsey Tarantola added eight kills while Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 31 assists.
