Oliver Ames, 3 @ Brockton, 0 – FinalOliver Ames opened the season with a 3-0 win on the road at Brockton. Senior Erin Holmberg scored a pair of goals to pace the offense while senior Abby Hodges scored once. Leah Johnson and Olivia Carroll had strong games defensively in front of goalie Emily Meyers.

Volleyball
Foxboro, 3 vs. Norton, 1 – Final

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Brockton, 3 – FinalOliver Ames fell on the road in its season opener, losing to Brockton 3-1 (17-25, 21-25, 23-25). Senior Alison Barth had 17 digs while sophomore Hadley Rhodes had a strong all around game for the Tigers.

Golf
Milford, 189 @ Foxboro, 167 – FinalNoah Hicks and Dylan Quinn each shot 41 to lead the Warriors to a season-opening win over visiting Milford. Matt Lathrop added a 42 in the win for Foxboro. Ed Madden and Tyler Weatherbee each shot 46 for the Hawks.

Oliver Ames, 166 @ King Philip, 161 – FinalSenior Jack Hastry and sophomore Mike Mathison each shot under 40 to lead the Warriors to a win over visiting Oliver Ames in the first match of the season. Hastry carded a two-over round of 38 while Mathison shot a 39. Nate Ihley, Ray Mullin, and Pat Reardon each added a round of 42 for KP. OA’s Tate Hadges shot a one-over past medalist round of 37 while Brad Powers chipped in with a 42.
