The Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts chapter of the National Football Foundation honored 28 football seniors as scholar-athletes, and nearly a quarter of them hailed from the Hockomock League.

In its 48th year honoring scholar athletes, a half dozen Hock football players received the honors. It ties for the second most athletes from the Hock honored in one season along with 2017. A year ago, eight Hock football players received the honor.
