Girls Soccer
North Attleboro, 4 @ Sharon, 3 – FinalNorth led by two goals early, allowed Sharon to score three straight to grab the lead, and then rallied with a pair of goals in the final 12 minutes to pull out the win. Clara Giuliano opened the scoring for the visitors, finishing off a pass from Angelina Bostock. Samantha Hardy doubled North’s advantage in the 18th minute off of an assist from Caroline Ferrin. Sofia Goclowski sandwiched a brace for the Eagles around a goal from Autumn Simon while Carly Pinnix had a pair of assists. After Sharon took the lead in the 70th minute, Giuliano pulled the Rocketeers level on a shot from 25 yards out in the 76th minute. Just a minute later, Hardy headed in a cross from Lily Adams for the winner.








Field Hockey
Milford, 1 @ Attleboro, 6 – FinalAttleboro scored three goals in each half on its way to a win at home over visiting Milford. Stella Krawiec, Marley Young, and Siobhan Landers each scored a pair of goals and had an assist to pace the offense. Alyvia Bessette also had an assist for the Bombardiers.

Canton, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – Final

Franklin, 6 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalFranklin’s Haley Wernig scored a pair of second quarter goals inside a five minute span to give the Panthers some breathing room and Kaitlyn Carney’s third quarter tally added key insurance as Franklin survived a tough test from King Philip. The teams traded goals in the first quarter with Payten Crandall’s first goal of the game giving the visitors the lead. Wernig scored twice in the second to take the lead again before KP got one back, cutting the Panthers’ lead to 3-2 at half. Carney scored the lone goal of the third to make it 4-2, and Crandall’s second of the game late in the fourth pushed it to 5-2. KP pulled one back but Franklin once again responded with a goal with just over two minutes to play from Chloe Essam. Leah Santoro, Makenzie McDevitt and Lauren Barriero each had a goal for the Warriors. Devon Barry made six saves in net for Franklin while Haley Bright turned away nine shots for KP.

North Attleboro, 6 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Julia Puccio had a hand in all six of the Rocketeers’ goals, leading the way to a big win on the road. Puccio scored three — the opening goal just under four minutes into the game (from Kelsey Thompson), the third goal of the game on a corner with 30 seconds left in the first half (from Ella Luistro), and the sixth and final, a strike with three minutes to play in the third assisted by Caroline Folan. Carrying a 1-0 lead into the second quarter, Thompson scored off of a corner, Madison Folan added one with 5:20 to go. Caitlin Vacher converted a pass from Puccio with 5:57 left in the third to make it 5-0. Gracie Leary and Eman Farid combined for the shutout for North.

Stoughton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 7 – Final

Mansfield, 0 @ Foxboro, 5 – FinalFoxboro defended its home turf with its third straight shutout and 10th of the season in a 5-0 win over Mansfield. Mary Collins paced the offense with a hat trick while Mya Waryas and Mia Dinunzio each scored once for the Warriors.




Volleyball
Canton, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalSharon rallied to win the third set to keep the match alive but Canton closed out in impressive fashion to secure a 3-1 (25-16, 25-20, 21-25, 25-7) win on the road, avenging a loss to the Eagles from earlier this season. Jess Wright had a great game for the Bulldogs, recording 14 kills, 19 digs, four aces, and a block. Erin Bigham ran the offense with 33 assists and chipped in with a pair of kills while Sally Hoban added 11 kills and a pair of blocks. Haley Duhaime, Riley Costa, and Melanie McDonough provided a spark and played good defense for Canton.

Mansfield, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – FinalIn a great back-and-forth battle, Foxboro emerged with a hard-fought 3-1 (25-23, 27-29, 27-25, 25-21) win over Mansfield in a battle of evenly matched teams. Sami Sloan led the charge offensively for the Warriors with 17 kills and five aces, Juliana Petigrew added eight kills, six digs, and five aces, and Mallorie Meyer chipped in with six kills, two aces, and 13 digs. Alyssa Cloherty ran the offense with 37 assists and three aces. Lauren Rubicine had 16 digs, five aces, and four kills for the Hornets, Elyssa Buchanan added four kills, four digs, and three blocks, Keira Fitzpatrick dished out 13 assists and had 10 digs, and Lily Campbell added seven blocks, five digs, three kills, and a pair of aces.

Milford, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, Attleboro cruised to back-to-back wins to finish out a 3-1 (25-5, 21-25, 25-8, 25-8) win over visiting Milford. It was a strong all-around performance for the Bombardiers with Julia Leonardo (21 kills, seven aces), Addie Shelton (10 kills), Ellie Shelton (four aces, two kills), and Tigin Bombardier (four kills) playing well offensively. Natalie Brojek orchestrated the offense with 35 assists along with 10 aces while Sadie Whitmarsh notched 20 digs to anchor the defense.

Stoughton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this match.Stoughton tied the match at 1-1 after rallying to take the second set, but Oliver Ames closed it out with two straight set wins for a 3-1 (25-16, 24-26, 25-12, 25-22) decision. Sarah Hilliard (22 kills) and Courtney Raymond (10 kills, six aces) paced the attack while Maddie Homer (41 digs) and Megan MacDonald anchored the defense for the Tigers.




Golf
Foxboro, 91 @ Stoughton, 96 – Final (5 holes)In a rain-shortened match, Foxboro pulled out a close win over Stoughton. Patrick Callahan and Louis Carangelo each shot 22 through the first five to lead the way for the Warriors and Mat Sullivan carded a 23. Stoughton’s Joe Rush and James Spector each shot 22 through five as well.

Taunton, 179 @ King Philip, 154 – FinalKing Philip closed out its regular season schedule with a non-league win over Taunton. Freshman Evan Regan fired a two-over par medalist round of 37 to lead the way for the Warriors. Senior Gavin Croke added a 38, Ethan Sullivan shot a 39, and Cameron Hasenfus finished with a 40.

Franklin, 2 @ Newton South, 0 – FinalFranklin scored once in each half to earn a massive road win against a fellow Div. 1 title contender. Olivia Costa opened the scoring in the first half, finishing a feed from Tori Carmignani. Kelly O’Connor scored from a Katie Ewald corner in the second half to secure the points in a hard-fought, physical matchup. Rachel Welch made eight saves for Franklin. Newton South came into Tuesday’s game as the third-ranked team in D1.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 2 @ Canton, 1 – FinalAttleboro scored its biggest win of the season, going on the road and knocking off Hock powerhouse Canton. Audrey Koen scored in the first quarter to give the Bulldogs the early advantage but Siobhan Landers answered off a corner in the second quarter to bring the Bombardiers level. Landers found the back of the net again in the third and Siany Ortez (12 saves) and the Attleboro defense pitched a second half shutout to close out the win. Alyvia Bessette, Marley Young, and Jordan Mooney each had an assist in the win. “A collective massive team win today,” said Attleboro head coach Jess Pink. “There was no one player that stood out as the defense worked together to secure the win and resist a lot of Canton pressure at the end of the game. The middies fed the offense and came up with some big block tackles to maintain position.”

Franklin, 13 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalFranklin’s Kaitlyn Carney recorded a hat trick and both Shaw Downing and Haley Wernig scored a pair of goals in a big win on the road.

King Philip, 2 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final King Philip scored less than a minute into each the first and second quarter and that proved to be enough in a close battle on the road at Mansfield. Sophomore Makenzie McDevitt opened the scoring just 57 seconds into the contest, and KP took a 1-0 lead into the second quarter. This time, it took just 19 seconds for McDevitt to find the back of the net and double the advantage. Mansfield made a game of it when Emma Redding scored at 11:32 of the second quarter, finishing off an assist from Kristina Kipp on a corner. The Warriors applied a lot of pressure in the second to try and add to its lead, but couldn’t solve Mansfield goalie Lily Danehy (18 saves) again.

Milford @ Oliver Ames, 3:45

North Attleboro, 8 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalAfter scoring twice in the first quarter, North Attleboro exploded for five goals in the second quarter in a big win on the road at Sharon. Ava Spencer scored the opener goal midway through the first quarter and finished the game with a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Caroline Folan and Julia Puccio (one assist) both added two goals while Madison Folan and Ella Luistro each scored once. Olivia LeBlanc scored a fourth quarter goal for Sharon.

Taunton, 0 @ Foxboro, 7 – FinalFollowing a scoreless first quarter, Foxboro staked a 3-0 lead by halftime and then exploded for four goals in the fourth quarter to secure a big win. Ella Campbell scored a pair of goals just two minutes apart, finishing off a pass from Mary Collins for the first goal of the game three minutes into the second quarter, and then scoring unassisted at 10:24. Mya Waryas added an unassisted goal with just over two minutes to go in the first half to make it 3-0. Paige Curran extended Foxboro’s lead 90 seconds into the final frame and then Collins scored a hat trick in the final 12 minutes with Kaelin Connors, Campbell, and Mia DiNunzio each recording an assist.








Volleyball
Taunton, 3 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final Taunton overcame a one-set deficit by winning three straight to secure a 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-21) win on the road at Foxboro. The Warriors jumped out to a lead with a win in the first set but the Tigers evened the match at 1-1 and then took a very close third set to gain momentum in the win. Sayla DePinra had a big game for the Tigers with nine kills and one block, Hayley Krockta added eight kills and 12 digs, and Morgan Smith chipped in with five kills and a pair aces. Courtney Martin had a good serving game with nine aces along with eight digs, and Anna Abouzeid had a strong all-around performance with 25 assists, seven digs, six aces, and four kills. For Foxboro, Juliana Pettigrew (15 kills, seven digs) and Ava Kirk (nine kills, three blocks, two aces) paced the offense while Shannon McElhinney (18 digs, seven aces) and Gianna Dunne (11 digs, ace) anchored the Warriors’ defense.

Milford, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames defended its home court, recording a 3-0 sweep (25-12, 25-19, 25-22) over visiting Milford. Senior Maddie Homer recorded 19 digs, junior Sarah Hilliard notched 13 kills, sophomore Ava Barth had a big day serving with 18 service points, and junior Paula Romero had a strong game for the Tigers.

King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalKing Philip opened with a dominating first set and never looked back in a sweep on the road at Mansfield, 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-16). Seniors Emily Sawyer (seven aces) and Sami Shore (two aces) paced the offense with nine kills apiece, seniors Ahunna James (nine digs, four kills, three aces) and Olivia O’Neil (four kills, four digs) both had strong all-around games, and junior Ava Kelley anchored the defense with eight digs. Elyssa Buchanan had four kills and a block for the Hornets while Lauren Rubicine (seven digs) and Gabrielle Moore (eight digs) played well defensively for the Hornets.




Boys Cross Country
King Philip, 24 @ Milford, 31 – FinalKing Philip’s Nate Sylven took first overall and the Warriors had five of the top eight runners to get a win on the road over Milford. Sylven won in 17:02 while Owen Mackenzie (18:59), Eliot Davis (19:12), and Max Miller (19:13) took fourth, fifth, and sixth overall, respectively for KP. Paxton Hubert (19:34) rounded out the scoring for the visitors, taking eighth overall.

Canton, 38 @ Oliver Ames, 19 – FinalThe top harrier for the Bulldogs was Luke Darling, who took fourth overall with a time of 18:59. Also running strong races and career bests for Canton were Austin DiBiasio (20:05) and Maks Alves (20:16), who finished seventh and ninth, respectively.

Sharon @ Foxboro, 3:45

Mansfield, 15 @ Stoughton, 48 – FinalMansfield took the top five spots on its way to a sweep of Stoughton. Junior Talon Johnson won his fourth race of the season, finishing in 18:00 while sophomore Ben Dury took fourth place in 19:12.

Girls Cross Country
King Philip, 21 @ Milford, 34 – FinalKing Philip took four of the first five spots, and five of the top seven on its way to a win over the Scarlet Hawks. Sydney Kalil continued her winning ways for Milford but the next four runners to cross were from KP: Kate Buban taking second overall (20:32) followed by Rachel Bailer, Leah Burke, and Keira Evans. Bridget Swezey (seventh) and Kat Precobb also ran well for the Warriors.

Canton, 50 @ Oliver Ames, 15 – FinalCanton’s top runner was Johanna Bouwmeester, running 24:04. She was followed by a strong pack of Bulldogs including Klara Redquest, Tahlia Weaver, Honesty Johnson, Nishka Baduamanda, and Tema Mazonson.

Sharon @ Foxboro, 3:45

Mansfield, 26 @ Stoughton, 30 – FinalMansfield’s Anna Moore picked up her fourth win of the season as the Hornets secured a close victory over Stoughton. Senior Alexis DiVasta was fourth and sophomore Sierra Wojick took sixth for the Hornets.

Attleboro, 43 @ Taunton, 16 – Final

Franklin, 18 @ North Attleboro, 45 – FinalFranklin’s Alex Batla and Fiona Morrison took the top two spots and rounded out its scoring with five of the top six runners to clinch the Kelley-Rex division title. Batla won in 20:45 with Morrison crossing at 20:46. Vivienne Loukota, Katie Sweeney, and Carli Walbert took fourth, fifth, and sixth overall, respectively, to give the Panthers the win.




Golf
King Philip, 145 @ Stoughton, 177 – FinalKing Philip junior Ethan Sullivan fired a medalist round to lead the Warriors to a win on the road over Stoughton at Easton Country Club. Sullivan carded a 35, Gavin Croke and Cam Hasenfus each shot 36 on the day, and freshmen Jason Silva and Evan Regan each carded a 38. For Stoughton, James Spector shot a 40 and Joe Rush finished with a 43.

Oliver Ames, 162 @ Mansfield, 158 – FinalMansfield earned its biggest win of the season, handing Oliver Ames its first loss of the season and clinching a share of the Davenport division alongside the Tigers. Nate McClean had a great performance at Norton Country Club, firing a 37 to earn medalist honors in the win. Cody Nieratko and Brendan Vokey each finished at 40 for the day and Davon Sanders, who had an eagle on the ninth hole to help clinch the win, finished at 41. Sean Kearns, David Rodgers, and Daniel Paul all shot a 40 for Oliver Ames while Ryan Smith chipped in with a 42.

Taunton, 175 @ Franklin, 150 – FinalFranklin won its final division match of the season to finish tied in first, clinching a share of the Kelley-Rex division crown along with King Philip. Jack Hagerty had a pair of birdies and finished with a medalist round of 36 to lead the Panthers. Matt Cacciapaglia (two birdies), Brendan Collins (one birdie), and CJ Steel (one birdie) each came in with a 38 for Franklin. Logan Letourneau led the way for Taunton with a 41.

Sharon, 164 @ Milford, 150 – FinalMilford returned home after a five-match road trip and secured a win at Hopedale Country Club, taking down visiting Sharon. Junior Anthony LaPierre fired a two-under par round of 33 to lead the way for the Hawks, earning match medalist honors. Jacob Hipolito added a 38 and Nate Lawrence finished with a 39 in the win. Sharon’s Dylan Cummings shot a team-low round of 39.

Boys Soccer
Oliver Ames, 8 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalOliver Ames found the back of the net four times in each half, totaling eight goals for the second straight contest, this time in a win on the road at Foxboro. Sophomore Casey Milliken stayed red hot, recording four points for the third straight game. He assisted on the opener to classmate Andrew Martins, who notched his first career hat trick, and then tacked on two goals and an assist in the second half. Martins scored twice in the opening half, then returned the favor to Milliken to open the scoring in the second half. Ryan Linhares added a goal and an assist, Mirray Dasilva scored a brace, and Mikey Morias recorded his first two career assists in the win.

King Philip, 160 @ Foxboro, 171 – FinalKing Philip junior Ethan Sullivan earned match medalist honors on the road at Foxboro Country Club, helping his squad pick up the win. Sullivan carded a round of 38, followed by a 39 from sophomore Cam Hasenfus and a 41 from freshman Jason Silva. Senior Gavin Croke and junior James Hickey rounded out the scoring for KP, each coming in at 42.

Stoughton, 210 @ Mansfield, 163 – FinalMansfield defended its home turf in a division battle with visiting Stoughton, coming away with a win. Nate McClean fired a medalist round of 38 to lead the Hornets to a win. Brendan Vokey chipped in with a 41 while Cody Nieratko, Drew Urban, and Hayden O’Connor each shot a 42 for the Hornets.

Boys Soccer
North Attleboro, 0 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalFoxboro broke into the win column, riding a first half goal to pick up two points against visiting North Attleboro. After a nice defensive play in the midfield by junior Ryan Flaherty, the Warriors were able to push forward into the attack. A nice run from senior Joel Gygi down the left side resulted in a cross that was parried by the keeper but right to senior Alex Penders, who blasted a low shot into the net for the lone goal of the game in the 23rd minute.

Attleboro, 1 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalAttleboro took the lead in the first half but Sharon found a late equalizer to split the points. Esvin Morales scored off of an assist from Alex Vecchioli in the first half, and the Bombardiers carried that lead late into the game before Sharon’s Adam Eastman headed in a cross with five minutes left to tie it.

Taunton, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 8 – FinalOliver Ames had an offensive outburst to the tune of seven half goals on its way to a win over visiting Taunton. Sophomore Casey Milliken had a first half hat trick and capped OA’s scoring with his fourth goal in the second half. Andrew Martins added a first half brace (both assisted by Ryan Linhares), Mirray Dasilva had a goal and an assist, and Jason Zalis netted his second goal of the season in the win.

Milford, 9 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalMilford’s offense was clicking on all cylinders in a big win on the road at Stoughton. Eduardo Santana had a big day with a first half hat trick, twice hooking up with Jonny Castro and one assist from John Borges. Castro had a third assist in the opening half, setting up Arthur Tome — who finished with a brace and two assists. Nate Dinis (from Nick Ribeiro), Marcello Alves (from Miguel De Olivera), Danny Da Silva, and Andre Baiano also scored for the Scarlet Hawks.

Franklin, 1 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalFranklin scored the lone goal of the game just past the midway point of the second half to earn a hard-fought two points on the road against a tough Mansfield squad. Andrew O’Neill was there to pounce on the rebound of a shot from Will Kryzak in the 63rd minute for the lone goal of the game. “Mansfield really made us work for this one,” said Franklin head coach Fran Bositis. Mansfield applied a lot of pressure over the final 15 minutes but couldn’t find the equalizer. Mansfield coach Steve Sheridan praised his defense, highlighting strong performances from Brendan Flynn and goalie Liam Doyle.

King Philip, 3 @ Canton, 5 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game.Jake McCabe recorded a second half hat trick to lead Canton to an important two points against visiting King Philip. McCabe had an assist on Canton’s opener, just three minutes in, using a clever touch on a near post run to set up freshman Vlad Francoeur for an open night right in front. The Warriors leveled the match just under 10 minutes later as Andrew Seropian played a great through ball to Matt Crago, who tucked a shot past the keeper in the 12th minute. The Bulldogs went back ahead in the 29th minute as sophomore Owen Morrissey notched his first career goal by heading in a cross to the far post from senior Carson Eagles. In the second half, McCabe scored twice inside the first 15 minutes, racing onto a ball over the top and beating the keeper 1-v-1, and then off of a deflected throw-in in the 54th minute to make it 5-1. King Philip scored twice in the final 10 minutes, first off of a deflection for a goal to Deven Patel, and then in the final moments when junior Keagan Fletcher played classmate Jack Morgan through for a breakaway.

Canton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalElla Pisani scored a brace and the KP defense was able to quiet Canton’s potent attack to pick up an impressive win and move alone into first place in the Kelley-Rex division. Addisyn Lamothe-Vaughn tapped in a corner, assisted by Kylie Menendez, in the 28th minute for what turned out to be the game-winner. Pisani would add a pair of second half goals to seal the win. The first came with 19 minutes to play, taking a pass from Menendez and firing a shot over the keeper from 25 yards. With two minutes left, Pisani tapped in a perfect cross from Heidi Lawrence. Lauren Casper got the clean sheet in net, making five saves. KP coach Gary Pichel made a point of praising his back line, Grace Lawler, Rihanna Mason, Rylie Wesley, and Lamothe-Vaughn for its play in the shutout.

Foxboro, 1 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalNorth scored in the closing seconds to rescue a point against Foxboro. Trailing by a goal late, Emma Pratt scored the equalizer on a rebound after a cross from Kaitlyn Joyce. The Warriors had the majority of possession throughout and took the lead when Neve Taylor found the back of the net from a Lindsey Resnick assist.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalMansfield and Franklin were unable to find the back of the net and settled for a point apiece in a hard-fought game. Franklin coach Tom Geysen said that it was evenly matched and well-played by both teams, while Mansfield coach Kevin Smith said there was a playoff intensity to the match. Mansfield keeper Olivia Salisbury made four saves to earn her fifth clean sheet.

Stoughton, 4 @ Milford, 3 – FinalStoughton rallied from a three-goal deficit and Makenzie O’Connor scored with just two minutes to play to secure a dramatic come-from-behind victory. Ava Baglione scored twice and Dani Atherton added a third to put the Hawks into a 3-0 lead. Shayla Ford scored once to get back within two before halftime and then added her second to make it 3-2 after the break. Bianca Casna tied the game for the Black Knights, before O’Connor, who also had an assist, fired in the winner.

Oliver Ames, 6 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalJenna Gilman scored twice to lead OA to a big road win Emma Gavin, Mary Cross, Jolie Diaz, and Laney Carroll each added one for Oliver Ames in the win while Lucinda Li Cotter had three assists and Sophia Byron had one Jenna Nelson and Ali Manson also added strong performances for the visitors. Juliana Matos scored Taunton’s lone goal on an assist from Emily Calderon and keeper Ashlyn Hebert made eight saves. Taunton coach Dan Borges was happy with his team’s effort and aggression in the second half and the way the Tigers kept fighting despite being behind.








Field Hockey
Sharon, 0 @ Attleboro, 7 – FinalJunior Siobhan Landers scored a hat trick and senior Marley Young had three assists as Attleboro rolled to a big win at home. Landers scored a trio of goals, including one on a stroke, senior Jordan Mooney added a pair of goals, and both sophomore Nora Desrosiers and junior Bailey Ellis scored once in the win. Senior Alyvia Bessette also had an assist while sophomore Siany Ortez recorded the shutout in net.

Foxboro, 3 vs. North Attleboro, 1 – FinalFoxboro junior Mary Collins scored twice and added an assist on the third as the Warriors earned a hard-fought win over North Attleboro. Jenny Gallagher opened the scoring for Foxboro on a pass from Collins, who then scored back-to-back goals for the Warriors. Mia Dinunzio and Mya Waryas had the assists on Foxboro’s second goal while Val Beigel and Dinunzio notched assists on the third tally. Beigel had a standout performance in the midfield for Foxboro while Waryas and Collins both played well offensively.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 4 – FinalFranklin scored twice in the second quarter, and then once in each the third and fourth, to pick up a win over visiting Mansfield. After a scoreless first quarter, the Panthers got on the board just over midway through the second when Haley Wernig buried an unassisted goal. The Panthers doubled their lead with a minute left in the half as Sydney Rogan set up Kaitlyn Carney to make it 2-0. In the second half, Wernig got her second (from Chloe Essam) with less than a minute left in the third, and Payten Crandall made it 4-0 (from Carney) less than two minutes into the fourth. Devon Barry had the shutout in net for the hosts.

Stoughton, 1 @ Milford, 0 – FinalStoughton returned from a trip to Milford with its first win of the season, recording a 1-0 victory over the Scarlet Hawks. Carly Sanda scored for the Black Knights, converting a pass from Katherine Giroux. Kerry Driscoll and Cat Melo played excellent defense throughout the game to help seal the win for the Black Knights.

Canton, 5 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalDeadlocked at 2-2 at halftime, Canton used a strong second half to secure a key win on the road. Freshman Carolyn Schiavo had a hat trick to pace the offense while Audrey Koen and Ellie Bohane each scored once for the Bulldogs. Abby Macdonald and Mara Boldy (from Kelly Holmes) scored first half goals for King Philip.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game.Oliver Ames scored once in each half to emerge from a defensive battle with Taunton for the win. Erin Cottam scored both goals for the Tigers with Julia Maclaine recording the assist each time. Olivia O’Rourke had the shutout in net for the visitors.




Volleyball
Canton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip took care of business, earning a three-set sweep of visiting Canton (25-9, 25-14, 25-15). The Warriors continued to play well at the net with a balanced attack: senior Emily Sawyer (two blocks) had 11 kills while classmates Sami Shore (two aces) Ahunna James (nine digs), and Olivia O’Neil (five digs) each chipped in with six kills apiece. For Canton, Sally Hoban and Fatima Sidibay played well at the net while Kelly Schiavo and Zoe Scibelli played good defense.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalTaylor Lacerda and Makayla Kuykendall both had strong games as Franklin notched another 3-0 win (25-17, 25-17, 25-22), this time against a solid Mansfield squad. Lacerda had 11 kills in the win, adding five digs, a block, and an ace while Kuykendall recorded 16 digs, six kills, and four aces.

Foxboro, 2 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final

Stoughton, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalStoughton notched one of its best wins of the season, going on the road and grabbing a 3-1 win over the Scarlet Hawks. Patrik Oliveira anchored the defense for the Black Knights with 12 digs.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalOliver Ames bounced back from a close first set loss to win three straight, taking a 3-1 decision (22-25, 25-7, 25-20, 25-21) over Taunton. Junior Sarah Hilliard continued her strong play at the net with 21 kills and three aces, sophomore Clare Kavoulis had 39 assists, Maddie Homer added 17 digs, Courtney Raymond chipped in with eight aces and five kills, and Addyson Smock finished with six kills and four blocks.

Sharon, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, Attleboro took two in a row to fend off a stiff test from visiting Sharon, 3-1 (25-8, 21-25, 25-13, 25-17). Julia Leonardo led the offense with 16 kills, nine digs, and two aces, Ellie Shelton added seven kills, and Addie Shelton chipped in with six kills and four aces. Natalie Brojek orchestrated the offense with 30 assists and added five kills as well.

Franklin, 145 @ Oliver Ames, 144 – FinalThe battle of the top two teams lived up to the hype as Oliver Ames earned a one-stroke win over Franklin in a non-league clash between division leaders. The Tigers’ top four of senior Michael McGinnis, senior Daniel Paul, junior David Rodgers, and junior Sean Kearns all shot a 36 at their home course of Pine Oaks for the win. Franklin’s Tyler O’Brien and Jack Hagerty shared medalist honors, both firing a round of 34.

Sharon, 188 @ Mansfield, 160 – FinalDrew Urban fired a medalist round of 38 to lead Mansfield to a win and a season-sweep of now division rival Sharon on the links at Norton Country Club. Nate McClean added a 39 in the win, Jason Friedman finished with a 41, and Hayden O’Connor rounded out the scoring with a round of 42 for the Hornets.

Milford, 168 @ King Philip, 151 – FinalSenior co-captain Gavin Croke shot an even par round of 35 to earn medalist honors and King Philip took down visiting Milford at Wentworth Hills. Croke had birdies on two and six in his medalist round. Ethan Sullivan added a 38 for KP while Cam Hasenfus, Jason Silva, and Evan Regan all came in with a 39.

Canton, 160 @ Stoughton, 173 – FinalCanton hit the road and came back home from Easton Country Club with a win over Stoughton. Brendan Tourgee earned match medalist honors, leading the way for the Bulldogs with a 38. Huck McCready added a 40 in the win and both Matt Anderson and Gavin McMahon shot a 41. Stoughton’s Mason Page and Colby Strunk each shot a 41.

Vecchioli opened the scoring in the first half, finishing off an assist from Billy Badger to put the visitors ahead 1-0, which they took into halftime. Vecchioli set up the next goal, finding Steve Etienne who scored to make it 2-0. Clay Tyler assisted on Attleboro’s final goal, connecting with Vecchioli, who buried his fourth goal of the week.

King Philip, 1 @ Milford, 3 – Final A goal-filled first half favored Milford and that was all the scoring in the contest as the Scarlet Hawks staked a 3-1 win over King Philip. The teams traded goals to start as Milford took a 1-0 lead when Eduardo Santana found Mathias Felipe for the opener but King Philip leveled on a goal from Matt Crago, assisted by Dermott Amorim. Santana put the Hawks back ahead, finishing off a corner from Arthur Tome, and then right before the halftime whistle, John Borges found Nick Ribeiro, who squeezed one in from a tough angle.

Sharon, 2 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalSharon scored a pair of goals inside a five-minute span in the second half to secure two points in a win over Mansfield. The Hornets took the lead 10 minutes into the game when Cooper Austin headed in a corner kick from Tyler Znoj for a 1-0 lead, an advantage that Mansfield carried into halftime. In the second half, Palash Raina headed in the equalizer off a cross from Rishi Shetty. Just four minutes later, Cam Birnbaum ran onto a through ball from Adam Eastman and finished for the eventual game-winner. Znoj, Austin, Derek McGrath, Dylan Mullin, Marco Germiniani, and Lucas deSousa played well for Mansfield.




Girls Soccer
Taunton, 0 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalNeither team could find the back of the net in a game where the advantage depended on who had the wind at their backs. Taunton keeper Hayleigh Porter made nine saves to earn the first clean sheet of her career, while Alexis Campbell played well to get her first clean sheet this season. Christina Da Costa, Cali Melo, and Jenna Pereira all played strong games in Taunton’s defense, while Emily Calderon and Juliana Matos sparked the Taunton attack in the second half. Eighth graders Kaylee Lopes, Maddie Crowley, and Lia Abouyazbek also impressed for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalFoxboro and Stoughton played to a scoreless draw at Sam Berns Community Field. The Warriors created a few chances through forward Erin Foley, but couldn’t find the finishing touch. Allie Sougaris made several important stops in the second half and earned her second clean sheet of the season for Foxboro.

Rachel DeFlaminis scored a second half hat trick and Mikalyla Thompson finished with three assists to lead the Warriors to a big win at home. Ella Pisani’s brace had KP up 2-0 in the first half (her fifth and sixth goals in the past two games), but Milford cut the lead in half when Dani Atherton’s cross wasn’t cleared and Erin Michelson finished from close range. KP was able to score in the final minute of the half to restore its two-goal lead, as Kylie Menendez finished off a pass from Thompson. Heidi Lawrence added two goals, Ally Pochay scored on a Danielle Gresham corner, and Dani Lomuscio (two assists) slipped a pass through to DeFlaminis to make it 7-1 just 12 minutes into the second half. DeFlaminis would score twice more, one off an assist from Menendez, to wrap up the scoring.

Attleboro, 3 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 0 – FinalAttleboro rolled to a 2-0 lead and then closed out the sweep with a competitive third set over Bridgewater-Raynham (25-14, 25-7, 25-23). Mary Katherine Runey called it a “full team effort” in the win. Natalie Brojek notched 26 assists and six aces, Julia Leonardo recorded 13 kills and five aces, and Addie Shelton chipped in with seven kills and four aces.

Hasenfus birded on the second hole and then back-to-back on seven and eight to finished with a medalist round of 34. Anthony Fraone shot a 37, Jason Silva added a 39, and Gavin Croke rounded out the scoring with a 41.

Mansfield, 177 @ Sharon, 178 – Final Mansfield senior Drew Urban fired a team-low round of 42 and the Hornets left the Cape Club of Sharon with a one-stroke victory over the Eagles. Brendan Vokey added a 44, Davon Sanders shot a 45, and Jason Friedman rounded out the scoring with a 46.

Mansfield, 2 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalMansfield sophomore Cooper Austin scored his first two career goals, one in each half, to help the Hornets grab two points on the road over Foxboro. Midway through the first half, Grady Sullivan forced a turnover in the attacking half, quickly pushed forward down the right blank and swung a service into the area where Austin got a touch to redirect it past the keeper. In the 70th minute, Austin ran in behind the defense off of a long throw from Sullivan and was taken down in the area. Austin stepped up and buried a low left-footed shot into the back of the net to make it 2-0. Liam Doyle made 12 saves in net to secure his first career shutout. Brendan Flynn, Derek McGrath, Matty Sullivan, Aidan Jones and Kyle Johnson all played well defensively for Mansfield.

Milford, 0 @ Attleboro, 4 – FinalAttleboro took the lead late in the first half and then tacked on three more in a dominating performance over a shorthanded Milford team. After a half hour of scoreless back-and-forth action, the Bombardiers found the back of the net with less than 10 minutes to go in the first half. Junior Luke Hagopian dropped a free kick to the back post where senior Lucas Marques rose up and nodded it back into the six-yard box. Junior Kyle Neuendorf settled it down and quickly buried a low shot into the back of the net. In the second half, junior Alex Vecchioli tracked down a long throw from Hagopian, carried into the area and then was taken down as he split a pair of defenders to earn a penalty kick. He calmly slotted his shot to the keeper’s left to double Attleboro’s lead in the 50th minute. Just seven minutes later, Vecchioli lofted a pass over the top of the defense where senior Steve Etienne got a slight touch right before the oncoming keeper and the ball fell to senior Richard Ferreira, who blasted a low shot through traffic and into the open net to make it 3-0. Attleboro capped the scoring on their seventh corner of the game when Hagopian’s low service wasn’t cleared, Neuendorf got a touch, and Vecchioli pounced on the loose ball inside the area.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalNorth Attleboro scored a pair of goals less than a minute in the first half in a win on the road over Taunton. Givany Carney and Bryce Newth scored back-to-back goals to give the Rocketeers the lead. Carson Dameron added a goal early in the second half for North while Javonte Fernandes (from Riley Rebello) scored a second half goal for the Tigers.








Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 5 @ Milford, 1 – FinalMilford took a lead early in the game, but the Bombardiers scored five straight, including three from Alexandra Tetrault, to secure their first win of the season. Freshman Ava Baglione got the Hawks off to a great start with her first varsity goal, but Jamie Davies responded almost immediately to level things, assisted by Kacey Parker. Tetreault would get her first of the night, and the eventual game-winner midway through the half. Tetreault added a second nearly midway through the second half to double the lead. With four minutes to play, Zenda Gjoni netted her first career goal to make it 4-1 and Tereault finished off her hat trick in the final seconds. Parker had two assists for Attleboro and Emily Dunlea and Tatum O’Brien each had one.

Sharon, 2 @ Canton, 5 – FinalEmily McCabe scored four times to lead the Bulldogs to a second win to start the season. It took Canton until midway through the first half to get going but McCabe netted a hat trick to push the Bulldogs into a commanding lead at halftime. Emma Cahill made it 4-0 in the second half, but the Eagles never stopped battling and would halve the deficit. Sofia Goclowski got the first, assisted by Olivia Soby, and Nasiba Aikulova added a second, assisted by Maddie Tajalli. McCabe tallied her fourth of the night with seven minutes remaining to finally secure the points for the Bulldogs. Alyssa Wong, Caira McKinney, Mekhala Costello, and Cahill all had assists for Canton.

Gaskin and Harding each carded one over par rounds of 36 at Hopedale Country Club while Tyson Laviano added a 37 and Zach Corsetti rounded out North’s scoring with a 38. For Milford, Nate Lawrence had a team-low round of 37, Anthony LaPierre added a 38, and Eric Farrell fired a 39.

Stoughton, 202 @ Foxboro, 166 – FinalPatrick Callahan had a solid day on the links at Foxboro Country Club, recording five pars and one birdie on his way to a match medalist round of 40 in Foxboro’s win over Stoughton. Callahan finished with a four-over par 40, Zac Georgantas (four pars) shot a 41, Mat Sullivan (five pars) came in with a 42, and Reese Curreri (three pars) finished with a 43. James Spector and Paul Medeiros led the way for the Black Knights, each with a 48.

King Philip, 157 @ Taunton, 180 – FinalKing Philip snapped a brief two-match skid with a victory over Taunton at Segregansett Country Club. Ethan Harris shot a match medalist round of 38, Evan Regan added a 39, and both Jason Silva and Gavin Croke finished with a 40 for the Warriors. Logan Letourneau had a team-low round of 40 for the Tigers.

Canton, 2 @ Attleboro, 1 – FinalCanton’s Erik Valdovinos set up the first goal and scored the game-winner as the Bulldogs claimed a big two points on the road against Attleboro. Valdovinos’ speed was on full display as he used it to get around a defender down the left side before a centering pass found Jake McCabe for a shot from close range to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage in the 9th minute. In the 67th minute, Colton Mirliani launched a clearance behind the defense and Valdovinos used his speed to track it down and beat the keeper to make it 2-0. Just over a minute later, Thomas Russo played a ball through the defense and Liam Bischoff was first to it and slid it past the oncoming keeper to make it 2-1.

North Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 0 – FinalNorth Attleboro sophomore Carson Dameron liked his first career goal so much, he decided to replicate it. Dameron opened his account with the lone goal in North’s win over KP just under a month ago by forcing a turnover and scoring on a breakaway. He was at it again on Tuesday night, once again pressing high to force a turnover and turned that into a goal with 10 minutes to play.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalOliver Ames freshman Andrew Martins scored his first career goal to lift the Tigers to a win over Mansfield in a battle of division leaders. Mansfield goalie Jack Lasbury-Casey saved a penalty kick with 15 minutes to play to keep the game scoreless but Martins scored off a pass from Mathias Taylor just minutes later for the lone goal of the game.

Stoughton, 2 @ Milford, 4 – FinalMilford scored a pair of goals in each half to knock off the visiting Knights. John Borges scored a pair of goals for the Hawks, opening the scoring on a feed from Eduardo Santana and then capping the scoring with a key insurance goal on a pass from Artur Tome. King Philip, 3 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalHeidi Lawrence scored twice and Dani Lomsucio had a goal and an assist to help the Warriors get back on track and moved KP within two points of first-place Franklin. Lawrence opened the scoring by finishing off a Lomuscio through ball and then Lomuscio added a second with a 25-yard shot off an assist by Morgan Norrman. Lawrence again ran onto a through ball, this time from Ella Pisani, to round out the scoring before halftime. For North Attleboro, Brayden Rice scored on a header off a corner kick from Emma Pratt. Haley Sinacola, Autumn Hewitt, and Steph McKenna all played well for the Rocketeers.

Milford, 3 @ Stoughton, 8 – FinalFreshman Makenzie O’Connor scored four times and recorded five points to power the Black Knights to a second straight win. Stoughton found itself down 2-0 after six minutes but found a quick response when Bianca Casna flicked home a Samantha Tran corner in the ninth minute. After Sivannah Marcy drew a penalty, Emma Tran finished the chance to tie the game. Isabella Rodrigues played a nice pass to find O’Connor behind the defense for her first goal to put Stoughton in front and O’Connor’s curling pass picked out Morgan Cook for a shot to the top corner to make it 4-2 at the break. Cook assisted on Casna’s second goal of the day to extend the lead to three just minutes into the second half. After O’Connor snagged her brace (from another Rodrigues assist), Milford grabbed its third of the game. Lauren Mitchel set up O’Connor for her first career hat trick and then slipped a shot through the goalie to complete the scoring. Freshman Emma Byrne had the final assist. Shayla Ford played well in the defensive third, having moved back after Milford’s second goal, and Katrina Varnum had a solid game in goal for the Black Knights.

Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game. The Bulldogs scored once in each of the final three quarters and won for the ninth straight time. Canton has allowed only one goal during that win streak. Ellie Bohane got the scoring started with a blast in the second quarter and then assisted on a Sarah Cunningham goal on a third quarter corner. Audrey Koen added the third goal in the final quarter and Carolyn Durand picked up the shutout in goal.

Taunton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – FinalTaunton’s goal came off the stick of Braeley MacDonald on an assist from Kaysie DeMoura.

Franklin, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalFranklin bounced back from its first loss of the season, a tough 1-0 decision to Walpole, with a big win on the grass at Sharon. Kaitlyn Carney scored a pair of goals — once in the first and once in the third — to lead the offense. Kaeley Dubriske, Haley Wernig, Raena Crandall, Caroline Gannon, and Lindsey Dennett each scored once for the Panthers. Megan Sullivan and Chloe Strassner split the shutout in net.

King Philip, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalKing Philip and North Attleboro battled to a scoreless draw at Beaupre Field. Junior Haley Bright made six saves in net for the Warriors to record the shutout while senior Molly Piller also denied the Rocketeers a goal to keep the hosts scoreless.

The Panthers took three straight (25-16, 25-9, 25-9) to get the win; sophomore Taylor Lacerda recorded 11 kills, six digs, and a pair of aces to lead the way.

Sami Shore put down 16 kills to go along with three aces and two blocks, Ahunna James and Emily Sawyer each added eight kills, and Samantha Asprelli chipped in with 11 digs defensively.

Mansfield, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalAfter dropping a close first set, Oliver Ames rallied to win three straight to take the match, 3-1 (23-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-21). Sophomore Sarah Hilliard had the best game of her young career, putting down 24 kills to go along with 10 digs and six aces. Senior Hadley Rhodes added 27 assists and seven kills, junior Maddie Homer notched 36 digs, and junior Courtney Raymond added seven kills and four aces. For Mansfield, Julia Kelly notched six aces, five kills, and nine digs, Nicole Santos added seven kills, three blocks, and two aces, Elyssa Buchanan chipped in with 10 kills, and Christina Lydon (19) and Izzy Flint (9) combined for 28 assists.

North Attleboro, 164 @ Canton, 142 – FinalCanton clinched its fifth straight Davenport division title with a win at home over visiting North Attleboro. Seniors Will Gefteas and Mike Leonetti shared match medalist honors, each coming in with a round of 35. Senior Nate MacDonald and sophomore Mekhala Costello both shot a 36 to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs. Jake Gaskin led the way for North with a team-low round of 37, Tyson Laviano and Ishan Kohli each shot a 42, and Dillon Harding came in at 43.

Oliver Ames, 159 @ Milford, 178 – FinalOliver Ames returned home from Hopedale Country Club with a win over host Milford. Senior captain Jake Kaplan fired a medalist round of 38 to lead the way for the Tigers. Senior Jo Jo Gaultier and Sean Kearns each shot a 39 in the win while senior Daniel Paul carded a 43. Anthony LaPierre led the hosts with a 39 while Nate Lawrence added a 41 for the Hawks.

King Philip, 158 @ Milford, 178 – FinalKing Philip’s Pat Reardon birdied the seventh hole and the Warriors picked up a win on the road at Hopedale Country Club. Reardon earned match medalist honors with a 37, helping King Philip clinch at least a share of the Kelley-Rex division title. Jared Curran added a 39 in the win, Gavin Croke shot a 40, and Mike Matheson came in at 42. Anthony LaPierre led the hosts with a 39 while Nate Lawrence added a 41 for the Hawks.

Taunton, 23 @ Mansfield, 32 – FinalTaunton had four of the top six runners and five of the top eight in a win over Mansfield. The win clinches the Kelley-Rex division title for the first time in program history as the Tigers finished the dual meet season at 5-0. Sophomore Brayden Cali won the race in 17:13 while classmate Andrew Cali was third overall just four seconds later. Junior Sam Dennis (17:30) took fifth, senior Ryan Strawbridge (17:43) was sixth, and freshman Cam Dorr (18:36) crossed the finish line eighth overall. For Mansfield, Chris Leonard was second overall in 17:15 while Collin Stevens took fourth in 17:29.

Taunton, 27 @ Mansfield, 28 – FinalTaunton and Mansfield split the top 10 but a 2-3 finish from freshmen Colby Dunham and Emersyn DePonte helped give the Tigers the edge. It marked the first time that Taunton beat Mansfield since joining the Hock nearly a decade ago and it also gave Taunton its third win of the dual meet, its best record in program history. Dunham clocked in at 20:59 for second overall while DePonte crossed in 21:02 for third overall. Juniors Kiley Quinlan (22:33) and Phylicia Dias (23:28) took fifth and seventh, respectively, while eighth grader Tori Corrao was 10th in 25:11. Mansfield sophomore Anna Moore won the race in 20:40, senior Megan Johnston took fourth (22:13), senior Alanna Conley was sixth (23:14), senior Sophia Allen took eighth (23:43), and junior Elizabeth Heavey was ninth (23:58).
