#9 Bridgewater-Raynham, 1 @ #1 Franklin, 2 – FinalAlfred Mucciarone was terrific in a complete game effort and the Panthers provided him enough offense to avenge a loss to B-R from earlier in the season with a 2-1 verdict, earning a spot in the Division 1 Final 4. Mucciarone fanned 11 batters while allowing one run on just four hits and two walks to get the win on the mound. Franklin broke the stalemate with the first run of the game in the third inning when junior Henry Digiorgio had a two-out single to bring home classmate Rex Cinelli, who had a leadoff single to start the frame. The Panthers pushed across the winning run two innings later in the bottom of the fifth when Jase Lyons (fielder’s choice) came home after Digiorgio put it in play and reached on an infield error.
