Jossie Camp
Jossie Camp is a dedicated student-athlete and emerging leader from Franklin High School in Franklin, Massachusetts. Known for her strong work ethic, compassion for others, and natural ability to lead by example, Jossie has distinguished herself both academically and athletically.
With a 4.27 GPA and a full schedule of honors courses, including AP Pre-Calculus, she balances high-level academic performance with meaningful involvement in her school community.
A multi-sport varsity athlete, Jossie has made a significant impact in field hockey, indoor track, and outdoor track since ninth grade. Her leadership and commitment have earned her captain roles in both varsity indoor track and outdoor track during her junior year.
She was also a member and captain of the Bay State Games Southeast Team. Her athletic achievements include numerous recognitions such as the Rookie of the Year Award for indoor track, Freshman of the Year for outdoor track, the Most Improved Player Award in field hockey, the Panther Award for outdoor track, and selection as an All-Star at an elite field hockey camp.
Jossie was also selected as a Hockomock League All-Star for the 2025 field hockey season. These honors reflect her drive, resilience, and ability to elevate both herself and her teammates.
Beyond athletics, Jossie is committed to service and personal growth. She works as a camp counselor and lifeguard at Summer’s Edge at Camp Thoreau in Concord, Massachusetts, where she ensures camper safety, fosters positive relationships, and supports program operations with maturity and accountability.
Certified in CPR and trained through the American Red Cross, she takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for young campers. Her dedication to leadership also extends into school, where she is a member of the Math National Honor Society and Peer Leaders.
Jossie’s character is consistently marked by kindness, humility, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in her community, she approaches every responsibility with purpose and integrity.
She strives to uplift others, lead with empathy, and set a high standard for herself and her peers. Jossie Camp continues to embody what it means to be a dedicated scholar, accomplished athlete, and impactful young leader with a bright future ahead.
