Evan ‘Taylor Tough’ Night

Evan Taylor Tough Night

Shortly before the start of the basketball season, Stoughton head coach Evan Taylor (Class of 2009) was diagnosed with lymphoma and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for over a month. In a sign of unity and support, all 12 Hockomock boys basketball teams will join together for Evan ‘Taylor Tough’ Night on Friday, January 3rd. Players will be wearing a ‘Taylor Tough’ warmup shirt before Friday night’s games; a fundraiser with all proceeds going to support Coach Taylor in his battle.

Now, Evan finds himself in a fight of his own. Recently, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, and as he begins chemotherapy treatment, he is unable to work due to his health and the intensity of his medical care. The stress of this diagnosis, coupled with mounting medical bills, has left him struggling to keep up with everyday expenses, including his home bills and supporting his daughter, Alex, who is active in volleyball and needs assistance with her own expenses and activities.
