#5 Attleboro, 34 @ #4 Bishop Feehan, 49 – Final - Bri LaPlume scored 11 points for the Bombardiers in the loss. Attleboro is eliminated the postseason.
Hockey
D1 South
#5 Franklin, 1 vs. #13 Framingham, 4 – Final – Randy Gilbert scored on a power play in the second period for the Panthers. Franklin is eliminated from the postseason.
D2 South
#5 Canton, 2 vs. #4 Medway, 0 – Final – Kevin O’Brien (Brendan Logan, Andrew Howlett) and Brian Hagan (Austin Zannino) scored goals for the Bulldogs and sophomore Justin Slocum made 28 saves for the shutout. Canton advances to play #1 Plymouth South in the D2 South Semifinals.
#10 Oliver Ames, 1 vs. #2 Westwood, 0 – Final (Shootout) – Junior goalie Jimmy Tierney was outstanding, making 39 saves through regulation and two overtimes and then saved all four Westwood attempts in the shootout. Juniors Tyler Provost and Albert Basse scored in the shootout for the Tigers. OA advances to play #3 Medfield in the D2 South Semifinals.
