Baseball
Foxboro, 3 @ Attleboro, 20 – Final – Tyler Stowe picked up the win, tossing five innings on the mound. Stowe helped his cause at the plate, going 5-5 with seven RBI. Senior Justin Lako enjoyed a nice day at the plate from the leadoff spot, going 4-5 with three RBI and three runs scored. Fellow senior Matt Elliott went 3-6 with a pair of singles and a triple while junior Nate Tellier was 3-4 with a single, double and a triple. In their varsity debuts, senior Tim Christensen was 4-5 and sophomore Matt Callahan went 3-5 with a pair of RBIs, scored four runs and a strong game defensively according to head coach Matt Bosh.
North Attleboro, 4 @ Canton, 3 – Final (8 innings) – In the top of the eighth inning, junior Andy Katch singled in junior Bryan Harris for the go-ahead run. Katch also pitched the final 3.2 innings to pick up the win, allowing just two hits, striking out four and didn’t give up a run. Justin Gallagher got the start and went 4.1 innings, striking out five and giving up just one earned run. At the plate, Dylon Grzenda was 2-3 with a triple and an RBI.
Franklin, 6 @ Saint Peter Marian, 11 – Final – Senior Nick Burgos went 1-2 with three walks and three runs scored, sophomore Tyler Gomes was 2-4 with a pair of doubles, one run scored and one RBI and senior Ben Chaffee was 2-2 with two walks and an RBI.
Sharon, 4 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – Nick Staples hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning to break a 4-4 tie to score Alex Shapiro for the go-ahead run. Jake Lannigan pitched six innings, striking out five without giving up a walk. PJ Sullivan came in for the save for the Warriors. Will Weir added a two-run double for KP. Jacob Berish pitched a three hitter for Sharon over 6 innings and also helped his cause at the plate with a run scoring double. Aidan Arnold added two RBI for the Eagles. 
Mansfield, 6 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Evan Kershaw picked up the win, pitching five innings, striking out two without giving up an earned run. Michael Boen struck out the side in the seventh for the save. Charlie DeMassi was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored. Tanner Haggis went 1-4 with an RBI, Matt Carafa was 2-4 with a run scored and Branden Nevius went 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Taunton, 5 @ Stoughton, 2 – Final – Taunton rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh inning to shock the Black Knights. Zach MacLean notched three hits for the Tigers and had a run scored, Jose Mercado had two hits and a run scored and Dylan Poillucci had two RBI. Sam Moor had the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. On the mound, Tyler Whalon picked up the win, tossing two scoreless innings with a strikeout. Luke Figueira got the start for Taunton, going fie innings and striking out seven. For Stoughton, Jordan Elkary tossed 6.1 innings, striking out two without giving up a walk and allowed three earned runs. Ryan Sullivan went 2-4 with an RBI double, Jake Gibb was 2-3 with a run scored and Justin Hutchinson was 2-3 with an RBI. 
Softball
Foxboro, 14 @ Attleboro, 9 – Final – Foxboro freshman Hannah Davis started her career with a bang, hitting a lead off home run in the first at bat of the game and finished the day with two hits. Senior Briana Stern hit two home runs and collected 6 RBI and senior Lindsey Cunniff went 3-3 at the plate. Senior Kat Keller tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts for the Warriors.
Canton, 1 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – Junior Carolyn Wallace pitched six innings, giving up just one run and four hits. Freshman Abby Warren came in for the last inning to pick up the save. Danielle Gorman and Liz Morehouse each went 2-3 with an RBI. 
Franklin, 15 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final (5 innings) Franklin pitcher Sabrina LoMonaco struck out nine batters and was perfect at the plate herself, going 4-4 with six RBI including a home run, a double and a pair of singles. Alicia Donovan went 2-3 with an RBI and Olivia DiGiacomo had a two-run double. For Oliver Ames, freshman Caroline Mahoney knocked in a pair of runs early in the game while Mattea Sarnecki knocked in the third run for the Tigers.
Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 11 – Final
Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Mansfield scored the lone run of the game in the first inning behind three singles by sophomore Marissa Staffier, senior Danielle Haradon and senior Moriah Baker, who had the lone RBI of the game. Junior Maddie Letendre went the distance in the circle for the Hornets and struck out 11. For Milford, Ali Atherton pitched a complete game while Emily Piergustavo, Allie Piergustavo, Sydney Pounds, Taylor Lebrun and Maggie Farrell each ahd a single. 
Stoughton, 3 @ Taunton, 17 – Final (5 innings)  – Taunton exploded for 12 runs in the first inning and never looked back. Aimee Kistner pitched the first three innings for Taunton and didn’t allowed a hit or a run and had five strikeouts. At the plate, Meghan Navarro was 3-3 with five RBI, Katie Van Zandt went 2-3 with three RBI, Kya Enos went 2-2 with two RBI, Kelly Reading was 2-3 with two RBI and Amber Wainwright was 1-2 with a pair of RBIs. The Black Knights scored all three runs in the fourth inning. Catcher Payton Pizzano led off with a double and scored on an RBI single by Shannon Flaherty. Danielle Tesler then singled to drive in Flaherty while Tesler stole third and then scored on an error. 
Boys Lacrosse
Mansfield, 14 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final
Canton, 8 @ King Philip, 13 – Final – King Philip took a five goal lead into half but Canton quickly cut it to two by the end of the third quarter. KP sophomore goalie Paul Macrina had his best quarter in the fourth quarter, making five saves to help the Warriors pull away. “He stepped up when we needed him,” KP coach Jacob Kravitz said. Four different Warriors had four points with Brandon King and Nick Sajdak each scoring four goals and Tim Watson and Anthony Truini each recording two goals and two assists.
Foxboro, 17 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Foxboro’s Matt Stamatov registered six points in the win, scoring a hat trick in addition to three assists. Joe Feeney had five points with four goals an assist and Pat McCarthy also had five points with a pair of goals and three assists. Colin Spinney scored one and tallied three assists for the Warriors.
Sharon, 5 @ Franklin, 13 – Final – For Sharon, Josh Rotman scored a hat trick and Mark Bloom, Spencer Aubin and Kevin Chen each registered a point. Sharon freshman Johnny Greenberg came into play goalie with three minutes left in the first quarter and finished with 12 saves.
Milford, 3 @ North Attleboro, 17 – Final – Ten different players found the back of the net for the Rocketeers, led by four goals from sophomore Zach McGowan, who also registered an assist. Tommy Lindstrom recorded a hat trick, Sean Young had a pair of goals and four assists and Kyle Chretien also scored two goals. Brodey Barr, Jason McNeany, Dan McDonald, Ryan Barth, Nick Moore and Colin Young each scored once. 
Girls Lacrosse
Attleboro, 8 @ Mansfield, 16 – Final – Mansfield junior Caroline Maher scored a game-high seven goals while Liz Navoni and Sarah Fernandez each scored a hat trick. Maggie Dunn scored twice and Julia  Todesco added one goal. Hannah Boylan had two caused turnovers and Kelly Medeiros had eight saves in net for the Hornets.
King Philip, 14 @ Canton, 9 – Final – Katie Crowther had a team-high four goals while Jen Lacroix and Megan Wagner each record a hat trick. Abbey Buchanan added two goals and Olivia Dort and Alyssa DeLuca each scored once. For Canton, Mary McNeil scored a team-best four goals while Mary Nee (two goals) and Lindsey Nolte (one goal, one assist) each had two points. Emily Rizzitano, Christine Ward, Casey Bradley, Mary Kent, Caitlin Hutchinson, Kelsey Trerice and Jess Powers each recorded one point. 
Oliver Ames, 5 @ Foxboro, 16 – Final
Sharon, 1 @ Franklin, 17 – Final – Franklin had 11 different players find the back of the net, led by MacKenzie Pleshaw and Julia Jette, who both recorded hat tricks. Freshman Grace MacCallum scored her first varsity goal in the win for the Panthers.

North Attleboro, 5 @ Canton, 0 – Final – Senior Anthony Rinaldi started the season off in impressive fashion with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at first singles for North Attleboro. Junior Mitchell Dyer won 6-3, 6-3 at second singles and senior Kumail Alikhan won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. In doubles play, sophomores Zachary Pfeffer and Barsomo Nuay won 6-3, 6-3 at first doubles and juniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles.
Franklin, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final
King Philip, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – Final – Peter Hu started his senior year off strong, winning 6-2, 6-1 at first singles. Sophomore Griffin Fein won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles and freshman Fred Bondar started his career in impressive fashion with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at third singles. In doubles play, senior Grant Barron and junior Adam Dobbin won 6-0, 6-1 at first doubles and junior Tilak Mehta and sophomore Alex Romantz won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles.
Mansfield, 5 @ Milford, 0 – Final
Taunton, 0 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final
Girls Tennis
Foxboro, 5 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final
Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – At first singles, junior Julia Mark won 6-1, 6-1 and at second singles junior Allie Grinovic also won 6-1, 6-1 for the Rocketeers. Freshman Emily Chiasson made her varsity debut at third singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win. In doubles, the pairing of senior Kaela Dunn and freshman Jordan Willis produced a 6-2, 6-1 win at first doubles and senior Morgan Barney and junior Jhanavi Kapadia walked away with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at second doubles.
Sharon, 5 @ King Philip, 0 – Final
Milford, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield’s Paulina Martin picked up a key win in first singles, winning 6-1, 6-1 while Mansfield’s Kathleen Giffels picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at second singles. Milford was able to grab a win at third singles behind Ally Collins, who won 6-4, 7-6. In doubles play, Milford got a win at first doubles behind Rachel Nolan and Kim Hays, winning 7-6, 6-2. Mansfield’s second doubles team of Haley Dolan and Chloe peters picked up a huge come-from-behind 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win. 
Stoughton, 0 @ Taunton, 5 – Final
Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 3 vs. New Bedford, 2 – Final – Taunton rallied for a 13-25, 25-17, 25-22, 21-25, 16-14 win. The Tigers faced 10-6 and 14-12 deficits in the final game but Taunton came away with the win behind Shy Royster’s huge block and kill and two kills from Lance Law. Law finished with 15 kills, two blocks and an ace. Igor Barbosa had six kills, five digs, four assists and one ace while Royster, Yuri Valente and David Perry had had four kills and a block.
