Baseball
Franklin, 1 @ Taunton, 9 - Final – Luke Figueira allowed just four hits in a complete game effort with seven strikeouts for the win. Dylan Poillucci collected three hits and two RBI for the Tigers. Casey Grady, Sam Moor and Zach Bowden each had two hits and two runs scored.

King Philip, 5 @ Stoughton, 6 - Final – Sam Werman went 2-4 with two RBI including the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh as Stoughton walked off with the win. Michael Gallagher pitched a complete game on the bump for Stoughton, striking out five with just one walk. Gallagher also went 1-3 and scored two runs. Zach Gibb was also 1-4 with two runs scored. Jovani Pires (1-3, three runs) led off the bottom of the seventh with a deep double to left center and scored the game winning run on Werman’s hit. King Philip’s Stephen Beattie picked up three hits in the lost.

Softball
Franklin, 2 @ Taunton, 7 - Final - The Tigers had yet another strong defensive outing and Jesse Aliexo notched her 12th win of the season with just three hits and one walk. Kailey March was 2-4 with two runs scored, MacKenzie Navarro was 2-4 with two RBI and Aimee Kistner cranked a two-run home run. Both Jordan Wade and Kimmy McCone had a double and an RBI.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 11 - Final – Payton Pizzano picked up two hits for Stoughton and Emily Cramer and Bianca Batte each singled.

Milford, 8 @ Foxboro, 4 - Final – Sydney Pounds went 2-5 with two singles and an RBI and Sam Bonvino went 2-4 with a double. Ali Atherton tossed a complete game for the win, with four strikeouts and just two walks

Oliver Ames, 15 @ Sharon, 2 - Final (5 innings) -  OA’s Erin Lynch had a strong day at the plate, going 3-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored. Nicole Cosgrove also stood out, going 2-2 with three RBI. Liz Bullock was 2-4 with a run scored, Victoria Ziner was 2-3 with an RBI and two runs scored and Kayla Soucie pitched in with two RBI. Sarah Struzik tossed a complete game with two strikeouts.

Canton, 14 vs. Medway, 15 - Final – Canton’s Jacki Merrigan scored her 100th career goal.

Mansfield, 15 vs. Holliston, 5 - Final

Boys Tennis
King Philip, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 - Final – The Warriors bounced back with a sweep of Stoughton as Jason Trudeau (King Philip) won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles, Kevin Williamson (King Philip) won 7-5, 6-4 at second singles and Adam Strubeck (King Philip) won 6-4, 7-5 at third singles. The team of Kyle Caragliano and Tim Smith (King Philip) won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and the team of Nate Gee and Ross Carey (King Philip) swept 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles.
