Oliver Ames responded just 1:38 into the third period when Justin Davidner was able to lift a rebound into the back of the net. Andrew Mancini was credited with the assist.

Marshall scored the game winning goal with just 2:45 left in the final period.

Both goalies – North’s Matt Raposo and Oliver Ames’ Jimmy Tierney – had strong games.

Taunton, 3 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final
Taunton’s Connor Ladino scored on a wrap around with 27 seconds left in the game to earn a point for the Tigers.

Stoughton took a first period lead when senior captain Cory Greenblatt fed Drew DiStefano, who’s shot from the point beat Taunton goalie Cam Pitts. The Tigers responded just 33 seconds into the second. Junior Cody Gallagher took a pass from Ladino and then sniped a shot past Stoughton’s PJ Sheehan.

Stoughton regained the lead just 2:23 later when freshman Albert Smith tipped home a shot from defender Ryan McSweeney. It looked as though Stoughton was close to securing their first win of the season when Adam Potter took away a mishandled puck and found the back of the net at 9:10 of the third period.

However, Taunton proved to be resilient as Dana Blakeley beat Sheehan with 1:39 left in the game. Ladino was credited with the assist.

On the game-tying goal, Sheehan was unable to find the puck in his pads and Ladino took it around the net and slotted home the tying goal.
