ASHLEY CLEVERDON
Ashley Cleverdon is a junior at King Philip Regional High School who is committed to growing as a student athlete and leader. She competes in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track and has been an important part of the continued success of KP distance running. In the 2025 cross country season, she emerged as one of KP’s top runners, helping the team win the Kelly Rex division title and individually qualifying for the state meet for the first time for KP since 2019. Her consistency, work ethic, and support of her teammates led to her being chosen as a captain for the 2026 cross country season. She also trains with the Emerging Elites Track Club to continue improving and strengthening her foundation as a distance runner.
At KP, Ashley is involved in a wide range of activities that allow her to contribute to her school community. She serves as Student Council Treasurer, the School Committee Student Representative, Peer Mentoring Treasurer, and Investment Club Secretary. She is also a member of KP Cares, DECA, Leo Club, the National Honor Society, the Math National Honor Society, and Senior High Fellowship, a program through her church. Through the Young Investors Society Student Advisory Board, she helps lead Girls In Finance, an initiative focused on encouraging more girls to explore opportunities in business and finance.
Ashley has been part of Cradles to Crayons since sixth grade and now serves as a Teen Leadership Corporation Captain. She has personally sorted all of the newborn caps for Cradles to Crayons Boston every year since she was six years old through her church and continues to lead donation drives, support younger members, and guide volunteers at the Giving Factory. These experiences have strengthened her communication skills and taught her how to motivate and support others through meaningful service work.
Outside of school, Ashley works at Roche Brothers providing customer service and also works as a hostess at Avenue Bar and Restaurant in Medfield, an upscale local restaurant where she greets guests, manages reservations, and helps maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere. These experiences have taught her professionalism, time management, and the ability to stay calm, friendly, and organized in busy environments.
Ashley maintains Highest Honors with a 4.22 weighted GPA and enjoys challenging herself academically. She is known throughout KP for her bubbly and energetic personality, her steady encouragement of others, and her ability to bring people together. Through the Hockomock LEAP program, she hopes to continue developing her leadership skills, learn from other student athletes across the league, and bring new ideas back to King Philip. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a future in accounting and finance and hopes to make a meaningful impact in her school, community, and career.
