Baylee McCormack
Baylee McCormack is a junior at Stoughton High School and an eager participant in the Hockomock LEAP Program, where she strives to be both a scholar and multi-sport athlete. With a current GPA of 4.48 (out of 5.0), Baylee pursues a rigorous course load that includes AP and honors classes in subjects she enjoys, such as Latin. As a result, she is a two-time National Latin Exam Gold Medalist (Summa Cum Laude) and an active Student Council representative.
In addition to her academic achievements, Baylee is a dedicated athlete competing in field hockey, indoor track, and outdoor track and field. She is a varsity defender for Stoughton High School field hockey and has participated in the Canton Turf Summer League for multiple seasons. In track and field, Baylee specializes in shot put and discus, earning multiple medals at MSTCA invitational meets, Division 3 Relays, and Hockomock League championships. She also serves as a captain for the indoor track team.
Baylee enhances her athletic development through additional personal training, including attending the Elite Throws Camp at Gordon College and volunteering as a coach at the Stoughton Youth Track Clinic. Her commitment to leadership, performance, and personal growth is evident across all areas of her involvement.
Outside of the classroom and off the field, Baylee participates in a variety of extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, HOSA, and Stoughcatos (a cappella choir). These activities enrich her experience as both a student and athlete and further develop her social involvement.
Driven, hardworking, and passionate about learning, Baylee is recognized for her strong character, academic discipline, and competitive spirit. She continues to distinguish herself as a student leader and athlete within the Stoughton community and aspires to continue her journey at the NCAA level while pursuing a future in the medical field.
