BEN LALLY
My name is Ben Lally, and I’m a student-athlete at Attleboro High School involved in baseball, basketball, and the Marketing CTE program. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about being the loudest—it’s about being reliable, supportive, and committed to helping others succeed.
As a catcher, communication and accountability are key parts of my role. I work to build a positive team culture by encouraging my teammates, recognizing their effort, and stepping in when someone needs support or a push to refocus. After practices and games, I make sure everyone feels valued, and I’m always willing to stay late or talk with any teammate who needs it.
Outside of sports, I’m involved in Best Buddies and coach Tee Ball, which has helped me become more patient and responsible. My Honors classes and CTE Marketing program have also strengthened my teamwork and communication skills.
Through the LEAP program, I hope to continue improving my decision-making skills. With all the pressures and opinions young people face today, learning how to make confident, thoughtful choices is important to me. I’m excited to learn from other student-athletes and grow as a leader who puts others first.
LEAP is a great opportunity, and I’m looking forward to developing skills that will help me in school, sports, and life.
