She is an active participant in the Hockomock LEAP Program, where she continues to strengthen her leadership skills and prepare for life beyond high school.
Grace’s leadership is shaped by her experiences as a varsity field hockey midfielder and member of several student organizations. She believes that a positive team culture is built on trust, inclusivity, and shared goals.
Known for leading by example, Grace is the teammate who encourages others when they are struggling, sets high standards for effort, and reinforces the importance of supporting one another.
Her coaches describe her as one of the most dependable and hardworking athletes they have ever worked with, someone who always gives her full effort, challenges her team to rise with her, and brings a positive attitude that others gravitate toward.
In addition to her athletic commitments, Grace has demonstrated initiative and service through volunteer coaching in the Mansfield Youth Field Hockey program. Over the last two years, she has served as a role model for young athletes, assisting with skill development, teamwork, and game preparation.
Her reliability and leadership resulted in her being chosen as the program’s liaison, an honor typically reserved for seniors. Whether organizing equipment, supporting young players, or stepping in to help solve problems, Grace consistently shows maturity and self-direction.
Grace’s work experience further highlights her strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. She currently works at Tasty’s Bagels Cold Treats & More, where she manages customer service, register responsibilities, and drive-thru operations.
She also worked at Swipe It in Mansfield, where she handled payments, balanced accounts, and collaborated on daily tasks. Her employment reflects her ability to manage responsibilities, adapt quickly, and maintain professionalism in fast-paced environments.
Beyond athletics and work, Grace participates in several school organizations including Best Buddies, Active Minds, Student Voice Summit, and the National Honor Society. She values opportunities to advocate for others, listen to different perspectives, and contribute to a more supportive school community.
Through LEAP, Grace hopes to further develop skills in listening, strategic thinking, and flexibility, qualities she believes are essential for effective leadership in changing environments.
