Greta Gouck
Greta Gouck is an accomplished student-athlete and developing leader at North Attleboro High School, where she exemplifies excellence in academics, athletics, and service. A junior with a strong commitment to character and community, Greta approaches every opportunity with integrity, resilience, and purpose.
Her experiences in the classroom, on the field, and through numerous leadership initiatives reflect her belief that effective leadership is grounded in service, communication, and teamwork.
A standout multi-sport athlete, Greta competes on the varsity field hockey and varsity lacrosse teams. She is known for her competitiveness, composure under pressure, and ability to elevate those around her.
Greta was voted by her teammates to serve as the 2026 field hockey captain and earned the MVP award during the 2025 season, recognition of the impact she has both on and off the field. She prioritizes positive team culture, provides constructive guidance to teammates, and consistently leads by example, making her one of North Attleboro’s most respected athletes.
Greta’s leadership extends well beyond athletics. Her roles as a YMCA lifeguard, hostess in multiple restaurants, and paraprofessional at NAMS have strengthened her communication, professionalism, and adaptability.
In these positions, she supports diverse groups of individuals, ensures safe and welcoming environments, and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Her work with middle school students in math, English, and science reflects her patience and commitment to helping others succeed.
Service remains central to Greta’s identity. She actively volunteers with Big Red Buddies, Special Olympics, youth field hockey camps, and multiple community drives.
Through these initiatives, she supports younger athletes, students with special needs, and community members in need. Her contributions highlight her compassion, leadership, and dedication to creating inclusive and empowering spaces for others.
Greta is also deeply involved in school leadership, serving in Student Council, Active Minds, P.A.S.E.A., S.A.D.D., and as a yearbook journalist and Big Red Buddies director. She has earned Highest Honors throughout high school and has been recognized with the Red Rocket Award and Excellence in Biology for her academic achievement and drive.
As a member of the Hockomock LEAP Program, Greta continues to expand her leadership skills through peer mentorship, captain training, and leadership workshops. She is committed to using the opportunities provided by LEAP to refine her ability to motivate, serve, and positively influence others.
Greta embraces the program’s mission and strives to be a role model within the Hockomock League, demonstrating maturity, responsibility, and a strong sense of purpose.
Looking ahead, Greta plans to pursue a path of service beyond high school. Her long-term goal is to attend college and commission as an officer in the military through a Service Academy or ROTC program.
She is driven by challenge, motivated by excellence, and inspired by the opportunity to serve at the highest level.
