Lilah Driscoll
My name is Lilah Driscoll, and I am a student at Milford High School dedicated to growing as a leader, teammate, and role model through athletics, academics, and service. I strive to lead with purpose, resilience, and integrity, values that guide me both on and off the field.
As a varsity athlete in both softball and volleyball, I’ve developed a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and accountability. Sports have taught me the importance of mastering fundamentals, staying adaptable under pressure, and supporting those around me.
I was honored to earn Rookie of the Year for the 2025 volleyball season, and I will serve as a 2026 volleyball captain, a role that challenges me to motivate my teammates, communicate clearly, and model a strong work ethic.
Outside of athletics, I work directly with children and families in my community. My experiences, whether serving as a behavioral assistant at Shining Star Preschool, working as a teacher’s assistant at Extended Day, running clocks for Milford youth basketball, or coaching Milford girls youth basketball, have strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to stay composed while guiding others.
These roles have helped me develop strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and communication skills, all essential qualities for an effective leader.
I’m eager to continue building my leadership skills through mentorship, service, and collaboration with student-athletes across the league. I’m especially drawn to LEAP’s focus on resilience, strategic thinking, and positive culture, all of which align with the leader I strive to become.
My goal is to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose, whether it’s in the classroom, on the court, in the community, or in my future career. I believe leadership is not about titles, but about uplifting others, setting an example, and creating environments where everyone can succeed.
I am excited for the opportunity to grow through LEAP and continue making a positive difference in my school and community.
