Attleboro HIGH SCHOOL
CLASS OF 2027

Samantha “Sam” Provost is a junior at Attleboro High School and a dedicated student-athlete whose primary sport is competitive swimming. A member of the Attleboro Varsity Girls Swim Team and Bluefish Swim Club, Sam has been involved in the sport for nearly ten years, developing a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep appreciation for team culture along the way.

She is an Attleboro High School and Hockomock League record holder, a Hockomock League and Sun Chronicle All-Star, and part of the relay team that broke a 33-year-old school record and went undefeated to win the 200 Medley Relay at the State Championships. Her commitment to improvement extends beyond the high school season, as she trains year-round and consistently sets goals that challenge her to grow as both an athlete and a leader.

Academically, Sam is a high-achieving honors and AP student with a 4.3 weighted GPA who exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete, balancing demanding coursework, practices, and competitions while maintaining strong time-management skills and a genuine love of learning.

Sam is known for her positive spirit, strong communication skills, and ability to bring people together. Coaches and teammates describe her as dependable, encouraging, and grounded, someone who consistently uplifts others and contributes to a supportive team environment.

Her leadership often shows up in small but meaningful ways, cheering for teammates, staying positive on challenging days, and being the person who brings energy to the pool deck. These qualities have helped her earn the trust of older teammates and integrate seamlessly into relay roles and overall team culture throughout her high school career.

Her leadership also extends into her community through her service with HAY Harmony, a program supporting swimmers with special needs at the Hockomock Area YMCAs. Through this work, Sam has developed patience, empathy, and a genuine appreciation for helping others grow.

Through the Hockomock LEAP Leadership Program, Sam hopes to become a more intentional and confident leader. She aims to deepen her skills in communication, mentorship, and decision-making, and to take on a more active role in shaping positive culture within her team and school community.

Her goal is to lead with purpose, authenticity, and service, qualities she is eager to strengthen through LEAP as she prepares for future leadership roles both in and beyond high school.
