Franklin HIGH SCHOOL
CLASS OF 2027

Zachary O’Mahony O’Sullivan is a rising junior at Franklin High School and a member of the inaugural Hockomock LEAP Leadership Executive Ambassador Program. As a student-athlete on the Franklin High School boys varsity soccer team, Zach has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities both on and off the field.

Currently working as a sales associate at WeGetSoccer in Franklin, Massachusetts, Zach combines his passion for athletics with customer service excellence. His experience helping customers select products and promoting engagement reflects his commitment to teamwork and positive reinforcement, skills he brings to every aspect of his life.

Zach’s leadership philosophy centers on building personal connections and creating trust within his team. He believes that strong teams are built on genuine care for one another, especially during challenging moments.

His approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, reminding teammates of their capabilities rather than dwelling on past mistakes. This mindset has proven invaluable in maintaining team morale during setbacks and fostering an environment where everyone feels supported.

Previously serving as a youth coach for the Franklin Youth Soccer Association, Zach provided mentorship to young athletes, focusing on sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.

This experience shaped his understanding that effective leadership means showing up consistently, not just vocally, but through actions that teammates can count on every day.

Through the LEAP program, Zach aims to develop emotional intelligence under pressure and strengthen his ability to maintain positivity during difficult times.

He recognizes that while his natural optimism is a strength, learning to recover quickly from setbacks and help teammates do the same will make him a more resilient leader.

His goal is to create environments where people feel valued and motivated to give their best, knowing their leader will support them through both successes and failures, a skill set he believes will serve him well beyond high school.
