Boys Soccer
North Attleboro, 2 vs. Dartmouth, 0 – Final – North Attleboro found the back of the net on a pair of occasions early in the first half to pick up a 2-0 win over visiting Dartmouth. Zach Smahi opened the scoring for the hosts, assisted by Givany Carney. Smahi earned his second point of the day, this time setting up Carson Dameron for a goal that made it 2-0. Owen Goeller had a standout performance in net for the Rocketeers while Patrick Etienvre played very well in the midfield, consistently thwarting the Dartmouth attack.
Girls Soccer
North Attleboro, 2 @ Dartmouth, 2 – Final – North Attleboro staked a two-goal advantage in the first half but Dartmouth rallied to tie the game. Emma Pratt opened the scoring just minutes in, firing in a shot from 25 yards out for a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. Pratt then set up the second strike from the Rocketeers, a corner that was finished by Sydney O’Connor just three minutes later. Dartmouth cut the deficit in half just before halftime and then found the equalizer with just over two minutes left on a penalty kick.
Taunton, 1 vs. New Bedford, 2 – Final
Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 vs. Bishop Feehan, 2 – Final – Despite the loss, Attleboro received standout performances from goalie Siany Ortiz and center defender Paige Parenteau. Siobhan Landers also had a strong game in the midfield for the Bombardiers.
