6th Annual Charity Soccer Classic
Team Lanigan, 1 vs. Team Perry, 6 – Final – Team Perry opened the game with three straight goals and finished with three unanswered tallies to get the win. Foxboro’s Joe Cusack, King Philip’s Matt Clarke, and Foxboro’s Dylan Barreira each scored to put Team Perry ahead. Canton’s Alejandro Correal pulled one back on an assist from Sharon’s Michael Baur, but Sharon’s Brian Higgins converted a penalty kick with no time left to make it 4-1. In the second half, Attleboro’s Hugo Henriquez and North Attleboro’s Kyle Briere scored to make it 6-1. Briere, who also played 40 shutout minutes in goal, earned game MVP honors.

6th Annual Charity Soccer Classic
Team Lanigan, 4 vs. Team Perry, 2 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Erin Holmberg scored once in each half to lead Team Lanigan to a win, and earned game MVP honors. Team Perry scored in the opening minutes on a deflection from Foxboro’s Lizzy Davis. Holmberg leveled for Team Lanigan, and goals from Foxboro’s Katelyn Mollica and Stoughton’s Mackenzie Manning put Team Lanigan up 3-1. King Philip’s Ally Stanton scored late in the first half to bring Team Perry within one, down 3-2. Holmberg scored the lone goal of the second half. Goalies Taylor Butler (KP), Breanna Atwood (Franklin), and Cass Barbera (Sharon) all played well.
