Attleboro, 6 vs. Bishop Feehan, 5 – Final (8 inn.) – Attleboro rallied from a five run deficit, scoring four runs in the fifth inning and tying the game with a run in the sixth inning. Tyler Stowe brought in the game-winning run, his third RBI of the day, drawing a walk in the bottom of the eighth with the bases loaded. Will Carter, Brent Cook, John Burns and Cam Hochwarter each had two hits apiece for Big Blue. James Weir came on in relief for Attleboro, tossing 3.1 scoreless innings without giving up a hit.

King Philip, 4 @ North Quincy, 1 – Final

Mansfield, 6 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 4 – Final – The Hornets concluded the season by winning their fourth game in the last five, upsetting a tournament bound Trojans squad. Sophomore Tyler Dalton earned the win in six innings of work, striking out one. Jack Neureuter came on to get the save, pitching the seventh inning. Zach Peterson with 2-4 with a pair of RBI singles, Jake Tryder was 2-4 with an RBI single, Colin Gibbons had a pair of hits and an RBI and Max Boen went 1-3 with a squeeze bunt RBI.

Taunton, 10 @ New Bedford, 2 – Final – Sophomore Jacob Crawford broke open a scoreless game with a two-out, two-run double in the top of the fourth. Crawford, along with Kevin Griffin, Luke Figueira, Christian Simoes and Joe Manchester each had two hits. Max Bowden pitched four shutout innings for the Tigers, scattering three hits while striking out three.

Softball
Attleboro @ Bishop Feehan, 3:30

Stoughton @ King Philip, 3:30

Taunton, 3 vs. Dighton-Rehoboth, 2 – Final – Taunton experienced a taste of the tournament with a close win over a talented Dighton-Rehoboth team. Aimee Kistner knocked in Jaime Brown in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Tigers the walk off win. Brown’s lead off walk preceded a single from Jordan Wade. Kistner singled up the middle to bring Brown home for the winning run. Wade went 2-3, scoring the Tigers’ first two runs while Meghan Navarro was 2-3, recording Taunton’s first two RBI. Kya Enos went 2-3 while Brown reached base three times via a walk. Kistner earned her 14th win of the of the season, tossing a complete game, scattering five hits and striking out five.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 4 @ Canton, 14 – Final – Canton freshman Mike Shaw paced the Bulldogs’ offense with four goals and two assists for a team-best six points. Senior Nick Gustafson netted his first career goal while CJ Martin, a converted midfielder, made two saves in the cage in the fourth quarter.

Foxboro, 4 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – Foxboro did all of its scoring in the first half, building a 4-0 lead just before the midway point of the second quarter and held off King Philip the rest of the way. Anthony Truini set of both of KP’s goals in the second quarter while Sam Agricola had a goal and an assist and Harry Fallon found the back of the net twice. Conor Khung had a strong game defensively, Steven Eaton recorded seven ground balls and Paul Macrina made 12 saves in net for KP.

Franklin, 7 vs. Dover-Sherborn, 8 – Final

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Mansfield, 15 – Final

Taunton, 4 @ Bristol Plymouth, 8 – Final – Andrew Wellington netted a hat trick for Taunton while Tommy Joyce scored once. Kyle Hebert added a pair of assists for the Tigers.

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 15 @ Attleboro, 9 – Final – Mary Nee and Mary Kent scored scored four goals apiece, leading the Bulldogs to a win. With the victory, Canton punched their ticket to the postseason.

Milford, 3 @ Franklin, 21 – Final – Sophomore Kate Morse found the back of the cage twice and had four draw controls for the Panthers. Abby Egan added two goals and two assists and Shannon D’Arcangelo registered a hat trick in the win.

Mansfield, 18 @ Oliver Ames, 10 – Final

Sharon, 7 @ North Attleboro, 17 – Final – Erin Holley totaled nine points and Hannah Caster recorded five assists for North Attleboro. Brooke Ebert recorded 15 saves in the cage for the Rocketeers.

Taunton, 12 @ Bristol Plymouth, 2 – Final – Taunton finished its inaugural season with a win on the road at BP. Abbey Kingman and Annie Tate each scored a hat trick to pace Taunton’s offense while Layne Kingman scored once and had four assists. Tatum Speicher, Lindsay Sneyd, Bre Conlon, Hannah Moniz and Alexis Bissonnette each found the back of the net once.

Boys Tennis
Canton, 5 @ Quincy, 0 – Final

North Attleboro, 5 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Rocketeers won three matches comfortably but needed three sets to win the final two matches. Mitchell Dyer won 6-2, 6-3 at first singles and Barsomo Nuay won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles. The team of Jake Fontes and Daniel Zhang won 7-6, 6-2 at second singles. Zack Pfeffer won 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (12-10) at second singles and the team of Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 2-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-5) at first doubles for North Attleboro.

The team of Adam Dobbin and Alex Romantz won 6-1, 6-1 at first doubles and Tilak Mehta and Danujan Thirumavalavan won 6-3, 6-2 at second doubles.

Taunton, 5 @ New Bedford, 0 – Final – Taunton finished their season with a sweep on the road against the Whalers. Brett Beaulieu won 6-2 6-0 at first singles, Charlie Fiske won 6-1 6-3 at second singles and Mike Briggs won 6-1 6-1 at third singles. Tom Morrissey and Connor Briggs won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles and Kyle Medas and Zack Taylor won 6-0, 6-2 at second doubles.

Foxboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Zach Sato, Kevin Geary and Michael Mulrean combined to limit the Foxboro Warriors to five hits to get the Tigers’ 10th win of the season. OA scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth behind a Chris Pearsons single and a two-run double from Matt Mancini. Kyle Gagliardi and Pearsons each had two hits for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 1 vs. Whitman-Hanson, 2 – Final – Stoughton’s Ryan Sullivan pitched well, going the distance, allowing just two runs on six hits with three strikeouts. Jack Connelly drove in the Black Knights’ only run while Luke Johnson went 2-2 with a walk.

Softball
Attleboro, 2 @ North Attleboro, 8 – Final – Amelia Murphy fanned 13 batters to help North Attleboro claim the Blue and Red Cup. Mycala Moody was 2-3 with two RBI, Kaylea Sherman and Gina Miceli each had an RBI single, Tess Munley added an RBI, Jordan Sharpe two hits and Carolyn Wallace made a nice play with a pick at first, helping the Rocketeers prevent a pair of runs.

Sharon, 3 @ Canton, 12 – Final – Sarah Reissfelder had a trio of triples and seniors Caitlin McCarthy, Rachel Dooly, Colleen Phelan, Aoife Omahony and Gab Matthews each had hits for the Bullldogs.

Oliver Ames, 10 @ Foxboro, 15 – Final

King Philip, 3 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – King Philip’s Kali Magane allowed just one hit while retiring 14 batters via strikeout to lead the Warriors to a shutout win. Meghan Gorman had a pair of hits and used excellent base running to score a run for KP.

Attleboro, 6 @ Bishop Feehan, 17 – Final

Canton, 8 @ Milton, 4 – Final – Freshman Mike Shaw led Canton with a pair of goals and had one assist and freshman Griffin Roach scored his first career goal in his first varsity game.

King Philip, 5 @ Westwood, 9 – Final – King Philip outscored Westwood 4-0 in the fourth quarter but their rally fell short against the Wolverines. Paul Macrina made 16 saves in the cage for the Warriors while Sam Agricola (three goals), Tim Watson (goal, assist), Harry Fallon (goal) and Colin Devellis (goal) paced KP’s offense.

Mansfield, 9 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 5 – Final

Taunton, 1 @ North Attleboro, 9 – Final Taunton’s Kyle Hebert scored off an assist from Andrew Wellington.

Oliver Ames, 10 vs. Pembroke, 6 – Final – Senior Jake Aronson made 11 saves in net and sophomore Owen Gallagher recorded five points as the Tigers punched their ticket to the postseason. Gallagher had four goals and one assist, senior middie Max Bamford had a pair of goals and assists, sophomore attack Eric LeBlanc scored two goals, senior middie Connor Howe scored once and senior middie Aidan Connly found the back of the net once and added one assist.

Girls Lacrosse
Attleboro, 8 vs. Bishop Feehan, 20 – Final

Foxboro, 21 vs. Norwood, 10 – Final

Oliver Ames, 10 @ Pembroke, 8 – Final – Ariana Waldorf pushed aside 18 saves in the cage for Oliver Ames, who held off Pembroke. Erin Fitzgerald led the offense with four goals and one assist, Hannah Friend scored twice and Abby Duvall had a goal and an assist. Sam Lang, Carly Cidado and Kendall Clifford each scored once for OA. The Tigers’ defense was led by a strong effort by Katie Davenport.

Sharon, 14 @ Shrewsbury, 13 – Final

North Attleboro, 19 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Kenzie Rosenberg netted four goals, including her 100th career goal, for the Rocketeers. Sophomores Camille Pizarro, Julia Takin and Julia Tolfa each scored twice for the Rocketeers. Chloe Olsen also chipped in with three assists for North.

Boys Tennis
Attleboro, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – North Attleboro senior Mitchell Dyer battled to a 7-5, 6-3 win at first singles, senior Jake Fontes didn’t lose a game in a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at second singles and senior Ben Lacasse won 7-5, 6-0 at third singles. Seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 6-1, 6-4 at first doubles and seniors Duncan Pickett and Ben Scott won 6-2, 6-4 for Big Red.

Canton, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – Final The Eagles completed yet another undefeated league season with a sweep over Canton. Griffin Fein won 6-3, 6-3 at first singles but both Fred Bondar and Tilak Mehta had to battle back from a lost set to get wins. Bondar prevailed 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-4) at second singles and Mehta won 6-3, 6-7, 1-0 (10-4). Adam Dobbin and Alex Romantz didn’t drop a single game in a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at first doubles and Andrew Tarnoff and Jing Huang won 6-0, 6-3 at second doubles.

Sharon, 5 @ Canton, 0 – Final – Sharon completed an undefeated regular season with the sweep. Lulu Yuan and Nupur Shulka both swept 6-0, 6-0 at first and second singles, respectively, while sophomore Emily Wen won 6-1, 6-0 at third singles. Pooja Puttigampala and Katie Merport didn’t lose a set in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first doubles and Sydney Gordon and Sophia Fein won 6-3, 6-2 at second doubles.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Neither Diana Prinos or Lexi Nelson lost a game, winning at first and third singles, respectively, for Foxboro in the win. Sophia Prinos picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles and the team of Michaela McCarthy and Julia Muise won 6-4, 7-5 at first doubles. Oliver Ames’ Claudia Ferrara and Rachel Stryke won 6-2, 6-3 at second doubles.

Taunton, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Needing a win, Mansfield’s three singles players carried the Hornets to a berth in the state tournament. Paulina Martin picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at first singles, Kathleen Giffels won 7-5, 6-3 at second singles and Sarah Doyle notched a 6-1, 6-3 win at third singles to clinch the win. Taunton’s Ashleigh Eason and Emily Moor won 6-2, 6-4 at first doubles and Caroline Hebert and Jillian Pagliuca won 6-1, 6-2 at second doubles for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 8 @ Canton, 5 – Final – Stoughton’s Nico Parmeggiani improved to 5-0 on the season, tossing 5.1 innings with just three earned runs allowed. Pat Hagerty paced Stoughton’s offense from the lead off spot, going 3-4 with an RBI and a stolen base and Ryan Sullivan also added three hits, a stolen base and a run scored for the Black Knights. Joe Piana broke up a 2-2 game in the fifth inning with a two run single, Justin Hutchinson had a pair of hits and Doug Seaman (2-4, two RBI) helped cement the win with a home run in the top of the seventh.

Foxboro, 1 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Aaron Wentling dazzled on the mound, striking out seven in a complete game two-hit shutout effort for the Warriors. Foxboro’s lone run came via junior Cam Feldman with an RBI fielder’s choice.

North Attleboro, 5 @ Franklin, 6 – Final – North Attleboro plated four runs in the first inning but Franklin’s bullpen limited the Rocketeers to just three hits over the final 6.2 innings and the Panthers offense chipped away to get the win and qualify for the state tournament. Bryan Woelfel came in with one out and the bases loaded in the first and was able to limit the damage for Franklin. Woelfel went five innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while striking out three. Ryan Morse got the win, allowing just a hit in 1.2 innings. Franklin scored a run in the first, two more in the third and two more in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead. North tied the game in the top of the sixth but sophomore Steven Luttazi scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth for the Panthers. Sophomore Jason Ulrickson went 2-3 and knocked in a pair of runs, Mike Skaza was 1-1 with a pair of walks, an RBI and a run scored and Tyler Gomes went 1-3 with an RBI and a double. Ryan Hodgkins (2-4) scored twice for Franklin and Cam Benham scored once. Andy Katch went 2-3 for North while Zach DeMattio had two RBI for Big Red.

Oliver Ames, 10 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Senior Kevin Geary notched his first career win on the mound as the Tigers rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take the lead. Sophomore Matt Muir cleared the bases with a three run triple, giving the Tigers the lead. Chris Romero, Josh Minuskin and Ryan Adams each had three hits on the day for OA while Muir, Matt Mancini and Chris Pearsons each had two.

Softball
Mansfield, 6 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Mansfield senior Maddie Letendre tossed her first no-hitter of the season, striking out seven in the win. The Hornets took a 1-0 lead in the fifth and then tacked on five more runs in the sixth. Consecutive singles from Bri Homer, Jocelyn Reardon and Marissa Staffier resulted in the first run. In the sixth inning, Kara Bendanillo singled, Mady Bendanillo walked, Maddie Letendre had an RBI single, Rachel Carafa had a two RBI single, Reardon knocked in a pair with a double, Marissa Staffier knocked in another run and Megan Letendre singled.

Canton, 3 @ Stoughton, 7 – Final – Karly Estremera and Sam Tullis set the pace for Stoughton’s offense, each scoring two runs each. Estremera hit a triple and stole two bases including a delayed steal of home while Sam Tullis added a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the fifth. Gina Carafa pitched seven innings, striking out five while giving up one earned run.

Sharon, 1 @ Foxboro, 9 – Final – Foxboro celebrated its seniors with a hit parade, totaling 12 as a team. Emma Rohan struck out 10 while allowing just three base runners (two hits and a walk). Offensively, Kelli McCarthy went 2-4 with two RBI, Hannah Davis was 3-4 with a home run, a pair of doubles and three RBI, Kelly Fisher and Kayley Tran each went 2-4 while Chelsea Gibbons was 2-3 on the day for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – The Panthers used a suicide squeeze to score the winning run in bottom of the seventh for the win. Olivia DiGiacomo laid down a bunt with one out to score courtesy runner Kerry Blaney for the win. Maddie Connelly got things started in the final inning with a lead off double and moved to third on a single from Clara DeCarvalho (2-4, RBI double), who moved to second on the throw. A passed ball gave Franklin a shot to score the run but North was able to get the runner at home. After a walk to Alexx Niss (2-3, RBI double), DiGiacomo squeezed in the run. Before the winning run, Franklin rallied from a 4-2 deficit to tie the game in the sixth. Olivia Haba (2-3) led off with a single and pinch hitter Kim Moulton blasted a two-run home run to the game. Caroline D’Aprile got the win for Franklin, striking out five. Meg Barlow had three hits for the Rocketeers and Mycala Moody and Kaylea Sherman each had two.

Taunton, 2 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – Strong defense helped anchor Taunton’s season sweep over the Warriors. Taunton head coach Dave Lewry said Jordan Wade played great at shortstop and Meghan Navarro did the same at second base. Lewry also pointed to Bailey Clapp’s outfield assist in the fifth, throwing out a runner with Sarah Bagge applying the tag at home. Aimee Kistner struck out four, allowing three hits in a complete game shutout. Liana Duarte went 2-4 with a run scored and a stolen base, Jaime Brown was 1-3 with a double and Bagge went 2-3.

Milford, 15 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final (5 inn.) – Milford clinched at least a share of its fourth straight Davenport title, winning at least a share of the division ever since joining the Hockomock. Jess Tomaso was a perfect 4-4 at the plate, including a two run home run, and finished with five RBI. Kaitlyn DeCapua knocked in four runs on three hits, including a double, while Megan Jacques went 2-4 with an RBI. Kelley Reichert struck out four while scattering three hits for Milford. Jamie Gottwald went 2-2 with an RBI and a double for OA.

Sharon, 13 @ Canton, 10 – Final

Foxboro, 6 @ Mansfield, 10 – Final – Mansfield built a 9-1 lead in the fourth quarter and held off a late push by the Warriors. Ryan Smith had two goals and two assists to lead the Hornets while Connor Finerty also found the back of the net twice. Josh Schafer, Sam O’Connell, Hunter Ferreira (two assists), Joe Cox, Billy Grant and Jon Reed each scored once for Mansfield. Sean Powers made 13 saves in net for the Hornets.

Franklin, 13 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final

North Attleboro, 6 @ King Philip, 8 – Final – King Philip built a 4-1 lead by the end of the first quarter and never trailed in a battle against North Attleboro. Senior Sam Agricola led the way offensively with three goals and an assist and junior Tim Watson potted two goals and had one assist. Harry Fallon had two helpers for KP while Anthony Truini, John DeLuca and Zach D’Amico (six ground balls) each scored once. Steven Eaton led the Warriors with 10 ground balls and KP head coach Jacob Kravitz praised the work of sophomore midfielder Nate Minkwitz (five ground balls) for his excellent defense.

North Attleboro’s Zack Pfeffer won 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 at second singles for Big Red.

Paulina Martin won 6-0, 6-2 at first singles, Kathleen Giffels won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and Sarah Doyle picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. Cathryn Heavey and Chloe Peters won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles for Mansfield and freshmen Tessa Garufi and Elizabeth Elsner won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

Canton, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – The Bulldogs got a clean sweep in singles play and earned another win at doubles to beat Stoughton. Carly Scanlon won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles, Skyler Jabbour won 6-1, 6-0 at second singles and Jude Aboukhater won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Canton’s Tiffany Ha and Sarah MacQuarrie won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles. Stoughton’s Kathleen Lapommeray and Amanda Galant won 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) at second doubles.

Sharon, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Sharon clinched the Davenport division title for the second straight year, this time winning it outright. The Eagles swept doubles play while freshman Nupur Shulka rallied from a 1-5 deficit in the second set at second singles to secure the win for Sharon.

North Attleboro, 5 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – North Attleboro and Franklin battled under the lights at the new courts at FHS. North Attleboro’s Julia Mark won 6-4, 6-4 at first singles, Jordan Willis won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and Allie Grinavic swept 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. The team of Jhanavi Kapadia and Emily Chiasson won 7-5, 6-3 at first doubles and Gabby Duva and Katie Demontigny secured a 6-3, 6-2 win at second doubles for the Rocketeers.

Milford, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – The Tigers swept singles play to secure a win over the visiting Scarlet Hawks. Riley Spillane won 6-0, 2-6, 6-0 at first singles, Valeria Tueme won 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at second singles and Sarah Leger took a 6-4, 6-3 decision at third singles. Milford’s Julie Rabinowitcz and Megan Cafarella won 6-0, 6-7 (4-7), 7-5 win at first doubles and Kate Rosenblatt and Victoria Beyer won 6-4, 6-2 at second doubles.

Tellier struck out 13 batters while allowing just one hit to keep the Kelley-Rex leading King Philip Warriors at bay. At the plate Tellier had a pair of hits. Freshman Dakota Kirby was a perfect 3-3 for Attleboro, having an RBI single in the fifth inning that made it 2-0. Senior Tyler Stowe have Attleboro the lead two at bats prior, singling in Brent Cook.

Milford, 14 @ Canton, 6 – Final

Foxboro, 0 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Stoughton junior Ryan Sullivan had one of his best outings of the year on the mound for the Black Knights, striking out 10 in a complete game shutout. Sullivan scattered five hits with just one walk and didn’t allow a run. The Black Knights’ offense cashed in in the bottom of the third. After Doug Seaman singles and stole second, Jack Connelly knocked in his team-leading 16th run of the season with a two-out single. Seaman went 2-3 and Connelly reached base twice with a stolen base.

Taunton, 2 @ Franklin, 6 – Final – Franklin turned a two run lead in the fourth inning to a comfortable cushion in a league win over Taunton. Nick Santucci connected for a two-out RBI triple in the inning, finishing the game 3-4 with a run. Jake Lyons added two RBI while Joe Corsi was 2-3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Josh Macchi added two hits, including a double, and scored a run for the Panthers. Sophomore Jason Ulrickson was solid on the mound in a complete game effort, scattering five hits while walking one to get the win. Ulrickson struck out four with just one walk. Taunton’s Kevin Griffin went 2-3 with an RBI while Luke Figueira (2-3) and Joe Manchester (1-3) each scored a run for the Tigers.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – North Attleboro’s Andy Katch had no-hit Mansfield through five innings but the Hornets were finally able to break through in the sixth inning. Aidan Cahill got the team’s first hit with a one out single and Mike Arnold was hit by a pitch to reach. A sacrifice fly from Tyrone Pascual advanced the runners and Jake Tryder connected for a two-RBI double to score the only runs of the game. Jake Neureuter got the win for Mansfield, allowing just three hits in a complete game shutout. Neureuter struck out three and issued three walks in the win.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final (8 inn.) – Oliver Ames walked off with a win for the second straight game and seniors Josh Minuskin and Ryan Adams were right in the middle of it. After Minuskin’s home run tied the game on Friday against Mansfield, he led of the bottom of the eighth inning with a single. Two wild pitches later, Minuskin was at third and Adams, who scored the winning run on Friday, knocked in the winning run. Senior Zach Sato pitched a two-hit shutout complete game for Oliver Ames, striking out four. Sharon sophomore starter Max Tarlin pitched seven scoreless innings for the Eagles.

Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final

Canton, 1 @ Milford, 12 – Final – Milford’s Ali Atherton carried a no hitter through the sixth inning before the Bulldogs’ offense broke through. Atherton finished with eight strikeouts in a complete game to get the win. Offensively, freshman Emily Hartman had his first career home run for the Scarlet Hawks, blasting a two run shot. Jess Tomaso was 2/2 with a pair of walks and two RBI while Kaitlyn DeCapua was 2-4 with an RBI.

Stoughton, 5 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Stoughton scored all five runs in the fifth inning and held off a Foxboro four-run rally in the seventh. Bri Fernandez, Karly Estremera, and Gina Carafa each had two hits for the Black Knights. Shannon Flaherty threw a complete game with six strikeouts to pick up the win.

Taunton, 6 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – The Tigers’ offense cashed in in the fifth and sixth innings to get the win over the Panthers. Taunton scored four runs in the fifth and then tacked on two more in the sixth inning while Franklin scored twice in the seventh. Aimee Kistner got her 11th win of the season, striking out five while scattering four hits in a complete game effort. Kistner also paced the offense, going 4-4 with a pair of RBI while Jordan Wade was 3-3 with a triple, a walk and an RBI. Jaime Brown went 1-2 for the Tigers with a sac bunt, a walk and an RBI and Kya Enos added a double and an RBI. Allie Shea went 1-2 for Franklin with a pair of walks and knocked in both of the Panthers’ runs.

Mansfield, 2 @ North Attleboro, 6 – Final The Rocketeers turned to small ball to get its offense going, plating all six runs in the fifth inning. With one out in the inning, North Attleboro had eight straight batters reach and it resulted in six runs. Big Red had a pair of infield hits and a pair of bunt singles to get the offense going. Kaylea Sherman and Megan Barlow each went 2-3 at the plate for North while Gina Miceli was a perfect 3-3. Amelia Murphy struck out nine in a complete game effort for the Rocketeers. Mansfield responded with its two runs in top of the sixth off of four hits. Marissa Staffier went 1-2, Megan Letendre was 2-3, Mady Bendanillo went 1-3 with an RBI and Maddie Letendre was 1-2 with an RBI. Maddie Letendre struck out 10 batters while allowing seven hits for Mansfield.

Oliver Ames, 14 @ Sharon, 10 – Final – The Oliver Ames Tigers belted out 17 hits on the day, using its offense to best Sharon. Victoria Ziner was 3-5 with two RBI, including a home run, and two runs scored, Katie Pursley went 4-4 with four RBI, including a pair of home runs and a triple and scoring two runs for OA. Jamie Gottwald was 3-5 with a triple an RBI and three runs scored, Rachel Han scored three runs and Dalene Gomes (2-5) and Emma Papargiris (1-4, two RBI) each had a triple and scored for OA while Caroline Mahoney (2-5) also had an RBI and a run scored for the Tigers.

Attleboro, 1 @ North Attleboro, 7 – Final

Canton, 11 vs. Abington, 8 – Final – Canton built a 3-0 lead and that was all the separation that the Bulldogs needed to beat Abington. Shaun Kirby was the driving force behind the offense, registering a hat trick and adding a trio of assists in teh win. Thomas Monagle and Kevin Albert returned to net a goal each while Dan Nadeau stretched his goal scoring streak to two games. Canton got a boost from sophomore Charlie O’Connor, who dominated at the faceoff X for the Bulldogs.

Senior attack Matt Gilson had three goals and three assists, senior Middie Max Bamford had two goals and one assist, senior middie Aidan Connly added a pair of goals and one assist, senior middie Connor Howe had a goal and an assist and senior middie Mike Sullivan scored once. OA Senior goalie Jake Aronson had the shutout in the cage.

North Attleboro, 19 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – It was a day of milestones for North Attleboro in a non-league win over rival Attleboro. Hana Caster found the back of the net for the 200th time in her career while teammate Erin Holley notched her 100th career goal in the win.

Canton, 13 @ Milton, 8 – Final – Canton head coach Chrissy O’Connor praised the defense of Lauren Peplau and Tessa Cudmore, saying they played excellent in the Bulldogs’ win. Lindsey Nolte paced the offense, potting four goals for Canton.

Justin Rohan and Marco DiStefano won 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles for KP. Attleboro’s Zain Yusuf and Shaun Gordon battled for a 7-5, 6-4 win at first singles.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – It was a clean sweep for Franklin, who won all five matches in straight sets. Rahul Herur won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles, Eli Brooks ton 6-2, 6-0 at second singles and Dan Barrow won 6-3, 6-2 at third singles. Cam Piana and James Johnston took home a 6-1, 6-1 win at first doubles and Tyler DiPalma and Derek Wu won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Junior Zack Pfeffer handled his match at second singles and classmate Barsomo Nuay battled for a three set win at third singles to lead Big Red. Pfeffer won 6-2, 6-2 while Nuay got a 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 win. Doubles teams of Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch (6-2, 6-3) and Jake Fontes and Daniel Zhang (6-3, 6-3) each won at first and second doubles respectively. Mansfield junior Benny Lin earned a 6-4, 6-2 at first singles for the Hornets’ lone win.

Sharon, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – After a weekend at the MIAA individual tournament, Sharon had an adjusted lineup but still clinched a win. Andre Olivei won 6-1, 6-3 at second singles and Andrew Tarnoff won 6-2, 6-0 at third singles. Alex Romantz and Adam Dobbin swept 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles and Tilak Mehta and Danujan Thirumavalavan also swept 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles. Oliver Ames senior Thomas O’Leary won 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-7) at first singles.

Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Franklin went on the road and extracted a bit of revenge by avenging an early season loss to the Tigers. The Panthers used a sweep in singles play to edge of the Tigers. Junior Hannah Sweeney won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles while senior Anna Humphreys won 6-0, 6-1 at second singles and junior Anja Deric swept 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Taunton’s Ashleigh Eason and Emily Moor won 7-6 (7-2), 3-0 (forfeit) at first doubles and Caroline Hebert and Jillian Pagliuca won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles.

Ben Furfari had a sacrifice fly, Ryan Coulter doubled and Stephen Murray singled to put the Warriors up. Rolfe was a perfect 3-3 at the plate while Coulter and Will Weir each had two hits. Jake Lannigan allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings while Rolfe allowed two runs in 4 2/3 innings of relief. Jake Cavanagh closed the game with a strikeout in the ninth.

Milford, 4 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Each time that Milford made a move, Franklin seemed to have an answer on Friday. The Scarlet Hawks took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth only for the Panthers to match it in the bottom half of the inning. Base hits from Olivia Haba and Alyssa DaSilva as well as a sacrifice fly from Julia Arms knotted the game 3-3. Milford’s Jess Tomaso (3-3) belted a solo home run in the top of the fifth but once again, Franklin had an answer. Allie Shea walked and Clara DeCarvalho’s base hit put two on. Junior Alexx Niss connected for a two run double in the inning to put the Panthers ahead 5-4. Caroline D’Aprile struck out four while scattering six hits for the Panthers. Haba came up with three catches in the final innings to help Franklin preserve the win.

Mansfield, 3 @ Needham, 2 – Final – Mansfield cashed in early, scoring all three of the team’s runs on four singles in the first inning. Freshman Mady Bendanillo knocked in one run and Liz Mackin plated the other two in the opening frame. Maddie Letendre struck out five, allowing just four hits for the Rockets, whiling going 2-3 at the plate. Rachel Carafa and Megan Letendre each added a hit for the Hornets.

Oliver Ames, 10 vs. Walpole, 8 – Final – Oliver Ames erased deficits in both the fourth and sixth innings. After trailing 3-0, Oliver Ames rallied for four runs in the fourth to take a lead. Walpole responded with five runs in the top of the sixth to seize an 8-4 lead but the Tigers clawed back again. A one out single from Dalene Gomes (run) started the rally and Emma Papargiris (2-3, run) followed suit with a hit to put two on. A bunt single from Lizzie Miller (run) loaded the bases for the Tigers. Missy Krim (run, RBI) and Rachel Han (3-4, two runs, RBI) each had an RBI single for OA. Victoria Ziner (run, RBI) hit a sacrifice fly to score Krim to tie the game. With two on, Jamie Gottwald (3-4, double, two runs, three RBI) belted a two run home run to centerfield to give the Tigers a 10-8 lead.

Sharon, 10 vs. Ursuline Academy, 4 – Final – Sharon freshman Alli Small hit her first career home run and classmate Jody Goldenberg had an RBI double to lead the Eagles to a non-league win. Senior Clara Cook pitched a complete game for the Eagles, scattering six hits while fanning 10 batters. Senior Jenny Friedman added a pair of hits for Sharon.

Stoughton, 8 vs. Brockton, 6 – Final – The Black Knights raced out to an early 8-0 lead and were able to fend off the Boxers to get the win. Karly Estremera hit a two-run homer to start the scoring for Stoughton and Bri Ferrandiz and Nicole Bodette each racked up two hits. Jeni D’Andrea, Sam Tullis, Gina Carafa, Courtney Campbell, Shannon Flaherty, Bridgette Whalen each had one hit for Stoughton. Shannon Flaherty got the win, pitching seven innings and giving up just two earned runs.

Stoughton, 6 vs. Brockton, 8 – Final (8 inn.) – Justin Hutchinson struck out seven in a seven inning effort, allowing just six hits and one earned run. Hutchinson played a role on offense as well, going 2-3 with three RBI. Senior catcher Jake Gibb also went 3-5 with a double and a run scored for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 11 vs. New Bedford, 5 – Final – Freshman Jack Moynihan earned his first varsity win, allowing just one earned run in four innings of work. Moynihan allowed four hits while striking out four Whaler batters. Sophomore Joe Manchester paced the offense with a pair of hits and three RBI while senior Luke Figueira had two hits, two runs and an RBI and senior Brendon Mazerolle had three hits, three rubs and a pair of RBI.

Taunton, 15 @ New Bedford, 1 – Final (6 inn.) – Jordan Wade had four hits and Meghan Navarro knocked in three runs to lead the Tigers. Wade went 4-5 with a triple and a pair of RBI while Navarro was 2-5 with the three RBI. Kya Enos went 3-5 with an RBI, Aimee Kistner had a home run, Becka Lajoie went 2-2 with a double and an RBI and Courtney Fisher was 2-2 with a double and three RBI. Kistner got her 10th win of the season, tossing four scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Fisher pitched the final two innings, striking out three while allowing one run.

Oliver Ames trailed 9-4 heading into the seventh inning but rattled off six runs to take the lead. Kyle Gagliardi had three hits for OA, Ryan Adams knocked in four runs on two hits and Mitch Goulet and Muir each added two hits for the Tigers.

Taunton, 5 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Sophomore Christian Simoes blasted his first career home run off the foul pole in left field to break a 3-3 tie game in the top of the fourth to lift the Tigers. Taunton added a bases loaded walk in the same inning to create the separation. Mansfield struck in the first inning before Taunton took a 2-1 lead in the second and 3-1 lead in the top of the third. Mansfield tied the game in the bottom of the third with a pair of runs. Taunton senior Luke Figueira earned his fourth win of the season, scattering five hits in five innings of work, striking out two. Max Bowden earned the save, striking out two while not allowing a hit in two innings of work. Matt Machado had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, Charles Hearrold III had two hits, two RBI and a run scored and William Emerson added two hits for Taunton. Mansfield junior Zack Peterson had a pair of doubles and runs scored, Aidan Cahill had two hits, an RBI and a run scored and Mike Arnold had an RBI for the Hornets.

Canton, 2 @ Sharon, 4 – Final – Sharon junior Clara Cook recorded 11 strikeouts and only allowed five hits to pace the Eagles to their second straight win. Senior Rachel Usen was 2-3 with two runs scored, freshman Rebecca Clayman had a pair of singles, an RBI and a run scored and senior Jenny Friedman was 2-3 with a pair of singles.

King Philip, 13 vs. St. Peter Marian, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – King Philip wasted no time jumping all over the defending D1 State Champions, plating 10 runs in the first inning. Christa Wagner went 3-3 and Hailey McCasland, Meghan Gorman and Jenn Hutnyan all added two hits for the Warriors. Hutnyan closed out the game with a two-run home run for KP. Kali Magane pitched three innings for the Warriors, striking out eight of the nine batters she faced.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton, 10 – Final – The Tigers used a six hit, six run sixth inning to break open the game and score a big win over Mansfield. Taunton loaded the bases in the first but a throw home from Marissa Staffier and a pair of strikeouts helped the Hornets get out unscathed. Taunton scored one run in the second, one in the third and two in fourth to build a lead. Aimee Kistner continued her shutout streak to start the season, pitching six inning, striking out 13 with just one walk. Courtney Fisher retired the side in order in the seventh for Taunton. Meghan Navarro went 3-3 with a double, Liana Duarte was 3-4 with a triple and an RBI, Jordan Wade was 2-4 with a triple and an RBI and Jaime Brown went 2-3 and knocked in a pair of runs. Mansfield freshmen Megan Letendre, Mady Bendanillo and Caty DeMassi each had a hit for the Hornets.

Milford, 8 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Milford’s Kelley Reichert only allowed two hits in five innings of work, striking out four to earn the win for the Scarlet Hawks. Kate Irwin had a pair of hits and stolen bases, Jess Tomaso was 2-4 with a triple and an RBI, Jill Powers knocked in a pair of runs and both Maddy Bonvino and Shannon Cormier hit a homerun. Stoughton freshmen Freshman Jordan Lyons and Jeni D’Andrea each had a hit as well as sophomore Val Whalen and senior Nicole Bodette for the Black Knights.

Sharon, 10 @ Mansfield, 18 – Final – Caroline Maher led the way for the Hornets with five goals and Marie Foley added four. Katy Garvin also had a hat trick for Mansfield, which also got two goals apiece from Julia Todesco, Emily Aarons and Maggie Dunn According to head coach Alexis Kobey, Cat Daly and Kaleigh Jodice played well on defense and Victoria Lawlor had a great game in goal.

Oliver Ames, 17 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Abby Duval paced an explosive Tiger offense in a big win on the road. Duval finished with a team-high five goals, adding two assists as well. Sam Lang and Erin Fitzgerald each netted a hat trick with an assist, Sofia Masciarelli and Hannah Friend each scored twice and had an assists, Devin Gardner had an assist and a goal and Emalyn Duvall scored once for OA. Ariana Waldorf made 10 saves in net for the Tigers.

Boys Tennis
Sharon, 5 @ Canton, 0 – Final – It was a clean sweep for the Eagles, who didn’t drop a game in four of the five matches. Griffin Fein (first singles), Han Cui (third singles), Adam Dobbin and Alex Romantz (first doubles) and Tilak Mehta and Danujan Thiru (second doubles) all won 6-0, 6-0. Sharon sophomore Fred Bondar completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles.

Lulu Yuan won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles while Nupur Shulka and Emily Wen each won 6-0, 6-0 at second and third singles, respectively. Pooja Puttigampala and Michel Kondratiev won 6-3, 6-2 at first doubles and Sydney Gordon and Akhila Songadi won 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles for the Eagles.

Foxboro, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Foxboro won all three singles in straight sets without dropping a game to edge the Tigers. Diana Prinos (first singles), Sophia Prinos (second singles) and Lexi Nelson (third singles) all won 6-0, 6-0. Oliver Ames’ Valeria Tueme and Claudia Ferrara battled for a 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-4) win while Rachel Stryke and Olivia Groebe won 6-3, 3-6 7-6 (8-6) at second doubles for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – Taunton swept both doubles matches and sealed the win with a victory at second singles. Junior Olivia Sweeney won 6-2, 6-4 at second singles while juniors Ashleigh Eason and Emily Moor won 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) at first doubles and junior Caroline Hebert and freshman Jillian Pagliuca won 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles. Mansfield’s Paulina Martin won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles and sophomore Sarah Doyle on 6-3, 6-0 at third singles.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 5 – Final – Attleboro starting pitching Nolan Kane was superb in six innings of work, allowing just one unearned run. Kane struck out four and allowed just three hits to get the win. At the plate, Dakota Kirby was 3-3 with a big two RBI double in the sixth inning and Nate Tellier had a pair of hits, scored one run and had a stolen base. Attleboro head coach Matt Bosh noted that Brandon Galvao played excellent defense at first base. Matt Callahan came in and pitched a 1-2-3 seventh inning for the Bombardiers.

Canton, 2 @ Stoughton, 13 – Final – Ryan Sullivan did it all for the Black Knights, picking up the win on the mound and helping his cause at the plate. Sullivan tossed five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and a pair of walks while striking out four. At the plate, he scored three runs and knocked in a pair of runs. Luke Johnson led Stoughton’s offense, hitting a triple with the bases loaded and finished with another triple a run scored and five RBI. Jake Gibb went 2-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored, Doug Seaman scored two runs, Justin Hutchinson drove in a pair of runs and Nick Quattrucci also had a triple.

Sharon, 4 @ Foxboro, 8 – Final – Darren Kelly and Jesse Galanti each reached base three times and came around to score three runs each to pace Foxboro’s offense. Nick Wright and Steve Couroupacis combined on the mound for seven strikeouts.

Franklin, 6 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – Franklin used a four run seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie and secure the win. With the bases loaded and two outs, Franklin sophomore Jake Noviello’s fly ball fell in the infield for a pair of runs and Mike Skaza followed with a two run single to create the separation. North Attleboro took a 1-0 lead in the first inning behind an RBI single from Ridge Olsen, scoring Kyle McCarthy (single). The Panthers tied it up in the top of the third when Ryan Hodgkins singled, stole second and was sacrificed to third. He scored on a sacrifice fly from Nick Santucci. Franklin took the lead in the top of the fifth when Tyler Gomes singled in Hodgkins (triple). The Rocketeers quickly tied things up in the bottom of the inning behind a home run from sophomore Zach DeMattio. Hodgkins finished 2-4 with a pair of runs, Jake Lyons was 2/2 with a run and Santucci finished with three walks, a run and an RBI. Jake Noviello went six innings, striking out a pair while allowing two runs on four hits. Jason Ulrickson closed the game out for Franklin. North Attleboro’s Andy Katch was stellar in 6.2 innings of work, striking out three.

Taunton, 3 @ King Philip, 4 – Final

Milford, 10 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final (12 inn.) – In a back and forth affair, Oliver Ames was able to prevail in the 12th inning. Sophomore Mitch Goulet led off the inning with a single, was sacrificed to second and the Tigers walked off on an RBI single from sophomore Matt Muir. Muir and senior Chris Romero each had three hits for the Tigers.

Softball
Attleboro, 4 @ Mansfield, 6 – Final – Mansfield’s Rachel Carafa went 2-3 with an RBI, Maddie Letendre had two hits, Megan Letendre had an RBI and Kara Bendanillo and Jocelyn Reardon each had a hit for the Hornets. Maddie Letendre allowed just three hits while striking out nine for the win.

Stoughton, 3 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Gina Carafa pitched well for the Black Knights, giving up one run on five hits and striking out eight for the win. Offensively, Stoughton was led by Jordan Lyons, Jenni D’Andrea and Nicole Bodette, who got a pair of hits each. Bri Ferrandiz (RBI), Gina Carafa and Sam Tullis also got hits in the win for the Black Knights.

Foxboro, 5 @ Sharon, 8 – Final – Sharon junior Clara Cook threw a complete game, collecting 11 strikeouts and allowing eight hits. Offensively, Cook was 2-4 with a first inning RBI triple and a sixth inning RBI single. Senior catcher Rachel Usen and freshman Rebecca Clayman were also also 2-4, each recording a pair of singles. Sharon head coach Deb Parker said freshman Jody Goldenberg played an outstanding game in right field.

Franklin, 9 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Maddie Connelly and Alexx Niss each knocked in three runs as Franklin picked up a big win over division rival North Attleboro. Connelly went 4-5 with three RBI while Niss had a three-run home run along with three walks. Olivia DiGiacomo added a two RBI double, Clara DeCarvalho had three hits and Olivia Haba had three hits and an RBI. Caroline D’Aprile picked up the win, going five innings with five strikeouts. Emily Sawyer pitched the final two innings for the Panthers.

King Philip, 0 @ Taunton, 2 – Final

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Milford, 10 – Final – It was another perfect day at the plate for sophomore Emily Piergustavo, going 3-3 with a double and an RBI. Shannon Cormier went 2-2 with a pair of RBI and Maggie Farrell knocked in a pair and had a triple. Maddy Bonvino was 2/3 with a double and Jess Tomaso was 1/2 with a sacrifice fly. Ali Atherton tossed a complete game, striking out eight. Oliver Ames’ Rachel Han was 3-4 with a pair of singles, a double and two RBI. Victoria Ziner was 2-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored and Lexie Campbell (1-3, two runs scored) and Jamie Gottwald also scored for the Tigers on Han’s double.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 14 – Final – Ten different players found the back of the net for King Philip, who built a big lead and never let it go. Freshman Collin DeVellis led the Warriors with a hat trick and one assist while juniors John DeLuca and Ben Palmer each netted a pair of goals and had one assist. Freshman Robbie Tartaglia scored his first career goal in the win.

Canton, 8 @ North Attleboro, 7 – Final (2OT) – Ben O’Neill scored a team-high five goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime to give the Bulldogs a big league win. The Bulldogs trailed 6-4 at halftime but were able to limit Big Red to just one goal in the second half and overtime periods. Canton goalie Chris Albert was a big reason for that with 19 saves. Joe Mulkay, Dan Dillon and Mike Shaw each scored once and Shaun Kirby finished with three assists for Canton.

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 25 – Final – Louis Piccolo was in the giving mood on Wednesday, recording a career-high 10 assists in the Warriors’ big win. Piccolo also scored twice while Andrew Whalen scored four goals and had one assist, Trey Guerrini scored four goals and had two assists, Colby Nickerson notched a hat trick and Brian Buckner had one goal and one assist.

Mansfield, 7 @ Franklin, 15 – Final – The Panthers built a six goal lead by halftime and stretched the margin to double figures (16-5) by the start of the fourth quarter. Austin Kent led Franklin with eight points, scoring five goals and adding three assists while sophomore Eric Civetti scored six goals and had one assist. Sam Arsenault added a hat trick in the for Franklin. Freshman Jacob Alexander continued his dominance at the X, winning 23/28 faceoffs. Franklin head coach Lou Verrochi touted the play of his defense in front of sophomore goalie Connor O’Rourke (six saves).

Mansfield’s final point came from Danny Radev and Sam Cavicchi with a 6-1, 7-5 win at first doubles. Attleboro’s Khaled Hantash and Ahijah Joseph won 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 at second doubles.

Junior Eli Brooks won 6-4, 6-2 at second singles and freshman Dan Barrow picked up a 7-5, 6-3 decision at third singles. James Johnston and Tom Mancini won 6-2, 6-1 at first doubles for Franklin. Junior Rahul Herur had to battle back after dropping the first set to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 at first singles. The team of Cam Piana and Jeremy Gan had to the same to get a 6-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-8) win at second doubles for the Panthers.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – King Philip handled business against the visiting Tigers, taking all five matches in straight sets. Cole Ginter won 6-0, 6-2 at first singles, Garrett Schneider won 6-3, 6-0 at second doubles and Blake Ginter won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. KP’s Sam Colella and Ryan Gemelli won 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles and Justin Rohan and Jake Webster paired for a 6-0, 6-1 victory at second doubles.

Stoughton, 1 @ Canton, 4 – Final – Canton swept through singles play and added a fourth win via first doubles against rival Stoughton. Carly Scanlon won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Skyler Jabbour won by the same score at second singles and Jude Aboukhater won 6-1, 6-0 at third singles. The Bulldogs wrapped up the win behind a 6-2, 6-1 victory from Tiffany Ha and Sarah MacQuarrie at first doubles. Stoughton’s Becca Lawson and Alyssa McGillicuddy battled back for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Foxboro, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Sharon freshman Nupur Shulka won a three set thriller to clinch the match for the Eagles. Shulka dropped the first set but battled back for a 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 win to hand Sharon the win. The Eagles swept doubles play to help clinch the win. Pooja Puttigampala and Katie Merport won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles and Michelle Cao and Rithica Neti won 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles. Foxboro’s Diana Prinos won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and Sophia Prinos won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.

Franklin, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – The Rocketeers continued their undefeated start to the season with a sweep of visiting Franklin. Julia Mark picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles, Jordan Willis won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and Allie Grinavic won 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. Brown won both the 100M (13.0) and the 200M (28.1), Song won the 1 Mile (5:57.7) and the 2 Mile (12:47.6) and Cho won both the long jump and the triple jump. Erika Lum and Hannah Jankowski took first and third in the high jump respectively while Sam Koplik won the 100M hurdles and came in third in the 400M hurdles.

Milford, 1 @ Attleboro, 6 – Final – Senior Tyler Stowe was a spark for the Bombarbiers in the leadoff spot with a pair of hits, a pair of stolen bases and a pair of runs scored. Nate Tellier hit a two run double in the sixth inning to turn a two run lead into a 5-1 lead. Tellier also scored two runs and then pitched the final two innings, striking out five of the six batters he faced. Brent Cook went 2-2 with a pair of RBI for Attleboro. Junior Tyler McGovern made his varsity debut, striking out seven in five innings of work for the win, scattering four hits.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 8 – Final – King Philip’s Jake Cavanagh tossed a complete game, scattering four hits while striking out 10 batters. Jack DiCenso and Jon Rolfe each had multiple hits for the Warriors. Ryan Coulter knocked in a pair of runs for KP while Cavanagh, Stephan MacMeans and Leo Munafo each plated one run for the Warriors. 

Foxboro, 0  @ Taunton, 8 – Final – Senior Luke Figueira got it done on the mound and at the plate as the Tigers opened the season with a win. On the mound, Figueira struck out eight batters and allowed just two hits and no walks in five innings of work. At the plate, the senior had a pair of hits and knocked in two runs. Matt Machado and Max Bowden each added a pair of hits and RBI as well. William Emerson had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI and Brendon Mazerolle knocked in one run and had two hits.

Franklin, 14 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Sophomore Jason Ulrickson came on in the fourth inning in relief and pitched four innings without allowing an earned run to get the win for the Panthers. Ulrickson struck out four and scattered three hits. Sophomore Matt Foley pitched the scoreless innings to start the game for Franklin. Offensively, senior Joe Corsi scored four runs, going 2/4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Jake Lyons went 2/4 with two RBI and a run scored, Tyler Gomes had a double and two runs scored, Josh Macchi went 3/4 with a double and three RBI, Jake Noviello was 2/4 with an RBI and Mike Skaza went 3/4 with an RBI and two runs scored. 

Stoughton, 14 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final

Oliver Ames, 5 @ North Attleboro, 6 – Final – In a game of lead changes, North senior Zach Rofino (2-4, two runs) reached on an infield single to start the bottom of the seventh, advanced to third on a double from senior Brian Poillucci (3-4, RBI, R) and then scored on a base hit up the middle from Brian Kleczkowski (2-3, RBI) as the Rocketeers walked off with the 6-5 win. Ridge Olsen, who was intentionally walked to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh, was 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored while sophomore Zach DeMattio went 2-3 with his second home run in as many games and knocked in three runs. The Rocketeers pitchers didn’t issue a walk all game. Andy Katch went six innings, striking out three while Matt Papineau pitched the top of the seventh to get the win. Oliver Ames tied the game in the top of the sixth when Kevin Geary hit a triple and a single freshman Chris Pearsons. OA senior Chris Romero had three hits in the game and classmate Josh Minuskin had a pair of hits.

Softball
Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 12 – Final (5 inn.) – Ali Atherton tossed a one hitter, striking out nine batters in five innings of work while issuing just one walk. At the plate, Jess Tomaso went 3/4 in her debut for the Scarlet Hawks with a pair of doubles and three RBI. Emily Piergustavo went 3/4 with a double and two RBI and Sydney Pounds was 3/3 with three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.

King Philip, 18 @ Canton, 0 – Final (5 inn.) – Elise Pereira, Kali Magane and Jenn Hutnyan combined for one hit ball in the circle for the Warriors. Magane went 2/2 with a triple while Pereira connected for a home run. Freshman Meghan Gorman debuted by going 2/2 with a home run and four RBI while Sydney Phillips also connected for a home run. Senior Christa Wagner scored three runs for KP.

Taunton, 15 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final (5 inn.) – Courtney Fisher struck out 11 batters in five innings of work, scattering three hits without a walk to get the win for the Tigers. Taunton’s offense stayed hot behind four RBI from Aimee Kistner (2-4, double), three RBI from Jordan Wade (3-4, double) and a pair of RBI from Liana Duarte (2-4, double). Kya Enos and Meghan Navarro each added a pair of doubles and an RBI and Jaime Brown went 2-2 with an RBI.

Franklin, 12 @ Sharon, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – Caroline D’Aprile struck out six and allowed two hits to get the win for the Panthers. Maddie Connelly had a pair of hits, a pair of runs and a pair of stolen bases and Alli Shea added three runs scored and two hits. Clara Decarvalho knocked in four runs on three hits while Julia Arms had a three run home run and Rachel Cousineau connected for a solo home run. 

Mansfield, 3 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Stoughton’s Shannon Flaherty allowed just one earned run in six innings of work to get the win. Flaherty struck out nine and issued just one walk in the win. Mansfield erased a 2-0 deficit in the top of the sixth inning but the Black Knights scored twice more in the bottom half to regain the lead. Jocelyn Reardon had a pair of hits, including a two RBI single in the sixth while Mady Bendanillo, Megan Letendre, Kara Bendanillo and Amanda Giambanco all had a hit in the game for the Hornets. .

North Attleboro, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – Amelia Murphy allowed just three hits in her Big Red debut, fanning four batters to get the win. Rylie Guthrie, Sam Courtemanche and Liz Morehouse each had an RBI single while Kaylea Sherman had four putouts in center field and also a double play. Oliver Ames’ Victoria Ziner was 1/2 with a run scored, Katie Pursley had an RBI and Lexi Campbell also had a hit. Campbell pitched a complete game, striking out five with just two earned runs allowed.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro @ Dartmouth, 4:00

Canton, 5 vs. Scituate, 1 – Final – The Bulldogs were able to accomplish a feat not many are able to: shut down Scituate’s offense. Canton only allowed one goal, coming with six minutes left in the game. Defensemen Jake Ragusa, Dan Nadeau, Gabe Galeotos and Jonathan Sutton combined to limit the Sailor while Chris Albert made 16 saves in net. Ben O’Neill netted a hat trick with one assist while junior Ryan Lodge had a goal and two assists and freshman Mike Shaw scored once.

Taunton, 0 @ Foxboro, 21 – Final – Andrew Whalen led Foxboro with seven points, scoring three goals and added four assists and Louis Piccolo added four goals and two assists. Brendan Tully had three goals and two assists and Colin Spinney chipped in with a pair of goals and a pair of assists for the Warriors. 

King Philip, 10 @ Medway, 9 – Final – Senior Sam Agricola scored King Philip’s first five goals of the game to keep the Warriors close and then scored the game winning goal in the third quarter. Agricola finished with six goals, one assist and five ground balls, helping KP take advantage of the extra man opportunities. KP scored on six of their seven EMO while limiting Medway on their special teams chances. Junior Paul Macrina made 23 saves in the game including seven in the fourth quarter. Head coach Jacob Kravitz called it a great character win and credited Steve Eaton’s switch to LSM in the second as a big turning point in the possession game. Tim Watson and Anthony Truini each scored twice for KP.

Foxboro, 20 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Caroline McGreary scored four goals and Sophia DiCenso and Lauren Flahive each netted a hat trick to lead Foxboro. Megan Curran and Lily Feeney each chipped in with two goals for the Warriors. Taunton’s Delaney Powell scored both of the Tigers’ goals. 

King Philip, 14 vs. Medway, 9 – Final – Katie Crowther was nearly unstoppable, netting a team high nine goals to lead the Warriors. Jen Lacroix added three goals while Abbey Buchanan and Allie Meehan each found the back of the net once. 

Sharon, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Hannah Friend made an impact all over the field to lead the Tigers. Friend scored four goals and had one assists while nabbing two draw controls and five groundballs. She also had three intercepted passes for the Tigers. Erin Fitzgerald was another reason for OA’s strong possession game with 10 draw controls. Ariana Waldorf had 12 saves in net while Sofia Masciarelli, Chloe Kikelly and Emalyn Duvall each scored twice. Carly Cidado had a goal and an assist, Abby Duvall had two assists and Kendall Clifford notched an assist for OA.

Boys Tennis
Milford, 2 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – Attleboro scored wins at first and second singles and sealed the win with a marathon win at second doubles. Timothy Vermilyea won 6-2, 6-2 at first singles and Tyler Letendre picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles. Khaled Hantash and Ahijah Joseph won the first 7-5 at second doubles but after losing 3-6 in the second, rallied to win 6-4 in the final set. Milford’s Brendan O’Shaunghnessy won 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) at third singles and Tabish Syed and Stephen Donnelly won 6-3, 6-4 at first doubles.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – KP sophomore Cole Ginter won 6-4, 6-1 at first singles and freshman Blake Ginter won 6-4, 6-3 at third singles to lead the Warriors. Sam Collela and Ryan Gemelli won 6-1, 6-2 at first doubles and Jake Webster and Justin Rohan won 6-3, 6-2 at second doubles for the Warriors. Canton’s Jake Wolicki won 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 at second singles. 

Foxboro, 4 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Taunton’s lone win came when Charlie Fiske and Connor Briggs battled back for a 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 win at first doubles. 

Sharon, 5 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – Sharon won all five matches in set straights to start the season with a win. Griffin Fein won 6-2, 6-3 at first singles, Fred Bondar won 6-3, 6-3 at second singles and Han Cui won 6-2, 6-1 at third singles. Adam Dobbin and Alex Romantz picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at first doubles and Tilak Mehta and Dahujan Thiru won 6-1, 6-4 at second doubles. 

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Mansfield junior Benny Lin won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles, freshman Luke Nickerson won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and junior Gus Daganhardt picked up a 6-3, 6-1 at third singles. Sophomores Danny Radev and Sam Cavicchi won 6-0, 6-2 at first doubles and sophomore Ben Salder and junior Stephen Zenack won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles. 

Oliver Ames, 1 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – North Attleboro got wins from a pair of juniors in singles play and three seniors and one junior in doubles for a 4-1 win. Junior Barsomo Nuay won 6-4, 6-4 at second singles and junior Zack Pfeffer won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 7-5, 6-1 at first doubles and senior Jake Fontes and junior Daniel Zhang won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles. Oliver Ames’ Thomas O’Leary notched a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) win at first singles.

Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 4 – Final

King Philip, 4 @ Canton, 1 – Final – Becca Ricci and Meghan Sepich won at first and third singles respectively to lead the Warriors. Ricci picked up a 6-3, 7-6 win and Sepich won 6-0, 6-0. KP’s elly Masse and Megan Davenport won 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 at first singles and Connie Palumbo and Carly Adams won 6-3, 6-0 at second doubles. Canton’s Skyler Jabbour won 6-3, 7-6 at second singles. 

Taunton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final

Franklin, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Freshman Nupur Shulka debuted with a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles to help lead the Eagles to a season opening win. Sharon sophomore Emily Wen won 6-1, 6-2 at third singles and junior Michelle Coo and sophomore Rithica Neti won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles. Franklin’s Hannah Sweeney won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and junior Anja Deric and sophomore Katelyn Davenport won 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 1-0 (10-6) at first doubles. 

Mansfield, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Seniors Paulina Martin and Kathleen Giffels won in straight sets in singles play as Mansfield rolled to a sweep. Martin won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and Giffels won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Sophomore Sarah Doyle won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles for the Hornets. Cathryn Heavey and Chloe Peters won 6-3, 6-3 at first doubles and Tessa Garufi and Elizabeth Elsner won 6-0, 7-5 at second doubles. 

North Attleboro, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – North Attleboro’s Julia Mark picked up a 6-3, 6-1 at first singles, Jordan Willis won 6-2, 6-2 at second singles and Allie Grinavic didn’t lose a set in a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. Jhanavi Kapadia and Emily Chiasson won 6-0, 6-3 at first doubles and Gabby Duva and Katie Demontigny won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at second doubles for the Rocketeers.

Milford, 1 vs. Millis, 3 – Final – Milford won the third game but couldn’t overcome the 2-0 hole. Senior Mike Haver led Milford with 11 kills and added three blocks. Senior Ryan White had 16 assists, eight kills, four digs, two blocks and an ace while Juan Ruelas had 13 assists, seven kills and three digs and blocks.Â
