North Attleboro, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final It took over to the final 20 minutes of the second half but the Rocketeers were able to finally breakthrough to get the win. Kenzie Rosenberg broke the tie in the 60th minute off an assist from Aine Mendonca. Ashlyn Gaulin doubled the lead off an assist from Emme Gaulin. Mendonca netted an Olimpico – a goal straight off a corner – to make it 3-0 before Leah Jette capped the scoring off an assist from Rosenberg. Nina Beauvais recorded the shutout for North.

Foxboro, 3 vs. Norton, 2 – Final

King Philip, 3 vs. Westwood, 0 – FinalKing Philip got the sweep at home, 25-17, 25-17, 25-20. Sydney Phillips led the Warriors with 13 kills and 20 service points, Carly Adams had 20 service points and Kat Kametz added 17 service points for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 203 @ Milford, 207 – Final – The teams were tied through four cards but the Rocketeers picked up the win – and clinched the Davenport division outright – on the fifth card. Milford’s Ryan Tomaso and Anthony Arcudi and North Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon split match medalist honors with a 38.

Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 1 – Final – Ahijah Joseph gave Attleboro the lead with an 18th minute goal, an advantage the Bombardiers took into the halftime break. Franklin senior Hatim Brahimi found the equalizer in the 69th minute to level the scoring.

Canton, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Canton sophomore Paolo Ruggeri scored in the final minutes of the came to complete the Bulldogs’ comeback. Foxboro’s Anthony Barreira and Jeff Melo scored goals in the first half as the Warriors took a 2-0 lead into halftime. But Canton senior Ben Waterhouse cut into the lead with a goal in the 52nd minute and sophomore Paul Corcoran tied the game in the 55th minute. Ruggeri was able to convert with under two minutes to play for the game winner.

King Philip, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final Sophomore Tony Bozza netted his first career goal in the opening minutes of the contest off an assist from Thomas Lugten and Lugten doubled the lead before the halfway mark of the first half to lead King Philip. Bozza used a one time finish off a pass from Lugten to put KP up 1-0 in the 2nd minute. Lugten then took a flick from Colby Koch and tucked his chance into the net from inside the area. KP head coach Nick Gale said his back four of Jack Bush, Cam Mullins, Ryan Coulter and Larsen Keys had a strong defensive game in front of goalie Eli O’Neill, who had a strong game against Mansfield’s set pieces.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 2 – Final Pedro Sampaio netted a pair of second half goals to lead the Scarlet Hawks to their second straight win. Sampaio converted a penalty kick to put Milford up 1-0 and then carried possession across the edge of the area before firing in his second of the game.

Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final Joe Cerqueira and Nathaniel Cardoza each scored in the first half for Oliver Ames. James Gillespie assisted on Cerqueira’s goal and Chris Lawrence set up Cardoza’s goal.

Stoughton, 2 @ Sharon, 4 – Final – Sharon cashed in on a pair of corner kicks to build a 2-0 lead at halftime and converted on a free kick for a 3-0 advantage early in the second half. Andrew Reyes Jones opened the scoring, converting a corner from Michael Baur. Jeffrey Gao doubled the lead, finishing off another corner from Baur. Ben Stamm headed home a free kick from Ian Camilli to make it 3-0. Stoughton responded with a pair of goals with sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon finishing a lofted pass from Tyler Melo coming first and Jordan Asnes finishing a cross from Goddy Fombe to make it 3-2. Camilli iced the game with his second point of the game with a strike from just outside the area to cap the scoring.

Girls Soccer
Franklin, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalMiranda Smith scored twice and assisted on the third goal for the Panthers. Jess Kroushl added a goal and an assist and Emily Mastaj had an assist for Franklin.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 2 – Final

Mansfield, 5 @ King Philip, 1 – Final – Emma Oldow scored once and had two assists, Allee Bezeau netted a pair of goals and Emma Goulet and Steph Kemp each scored once and had an assist in Mansfield’s win. Avery Snead scored for King Philip.

Milford, 1 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalMilford converted a corner kick to pick up a tie on the road at North Attleboro. Nicole Dahlgren scored off of Maddie Boyle’s corner for the Scarlet Hawks. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj praised the two-way play of Ashleigh Starks and Maggie Boyle.

Olivia Broyles had nine blocks and four kills for the Hornets while Chloe Peters added 20 service points and Jess Haradon and Jacey Anderson combined for 20 digs. Oliver Ames’ Bridget McCarthy had 27 assists and five aces and Maya Fetcho added 11 kills.

Milford, 3 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalSharon junior Jess Allan led the Eagles’ offense with nine kills and Cori Jermyn added seven kills.

Taunton, 191 @ Milford, 154 – Final Three Milford golfers broke 40 on the day to pace the Scarlet Hawks to the win. Ryan Tomaso carded a low round of 35 while Anthony Arcudi shot 38 and Tylor Renaud carded a round of 39.

Canton, 153 @ North Attleboro, 149 – Final – Four different golfers shot under 40 for the Rocketeers to edge Canton in a key Davenport division showdown. Robbie Congdon shot a 36, David Colasanti shot a 37 and Dylan Kane and Tyler Sinacola both shot 38 in the win. Canton’s Matt Minichiello was the match medalist, carding a low round of 35.

Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final Mansfield scored all three goals in the first half and shut the Panthers out for all 80 minutes. Cullin Anastasia scored off an assist from goalie Jed Tolbert’s punt in the 11th minute, Sam Hyland headed home a throw from Max Gurnon in the 25th minute and Gurnon headed home a corner from Sean Lanzillo in the 28th minute. Tolbert made six saves for his fourth straight shutout. Head coach Steve Sheridan said Gurnon, Nick Hyland, Harry Braidt and Ethan Brill-Cass played great on defense,

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – After a scoreless first half, King Philip junior Tyler Mann netted a pair of second half goals and Larsen Keys and Nils van den Boogaard each scored once for the Warriors. Mann scored on an assist from Thomas Lugten to open the scoring and then converted a chance from Colby Koch. Larsen Keys earned a penalty kick and took it himself to net his second goal of the season. Senior Nils van den Boogaard netted his first career goal on an assist from Mark Kahaly to cap the scoring.

Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Francesca Calabraro, Kiana Lozzi and Abby Reardon were the goal scorers for OA.

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – FinalLily Sykes scored the opening goal for the Warriors and Mackenzie Fraser scored twice in the second half, both on assists by Kristen Bortolotti, to lift Foxboro to a fourth straight win.

North Attleboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final Ashlyn Gaulin scored a pair of goals and Aine Mendonca, Felicity Monfils, Kayla Pasquel, Mackenzie Rosenberg and Leah Jette each netted one goal.

King Philip, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – Final Maddie Smith scored an unassisted goal in the first half to put KP up and Emma Corcoran added an unassisted tally in the second half to double the Warriors’ lead.

Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final Erin Skidmore led Franklin with seven kills, 11 digs and an ace, Lauren Lockhart added five kills and three digs and Maggie Doyle chipped in with five kills and an ace.

Canton, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – Nine different players registered a kill for Canton in a 25-12, 25-21, 25-12 win. Nicole Poole had 21 assists and 12 digs to lead Canton. “She did a great job distributing the ball to many different hitters,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Erika Lum led Canton with nine kills and combined with Maria Mackie Julia Panico for 34 digs total digs.

King Philip, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – A kill from junior Meg Hill and an ace from senior Jess Haradon gave Mansfield a vital win in game three and the Hornets went on for the win, 25-19, 11-25, 28-26, 25-22. Olivia Broyles had eight blocks, Chloe Peters had 26 assists and five blocks and Hill finished with 10 kills. King Philip’s Sydney Philips had a game-high 19 kills and added 20 service points, Carly Adams chipped in with 24 assists and 23 service points, Amanda Loewen added 11 digs and 12 service points and Liv Balfud finished with 17 service points for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 3 – Final

Taunton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames picked up a 25-16, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23 win behind 38 assists from senior Bridget McCarthy. Alyssa Gavin added 14 digs, a pair of assists, and six aces from the back row, middle hitter Kayla Raymond added 13 kills, Emma Petrillo finished with nine kills, three digs and two aces and Maya Fetcho chipped in with eight kills and two blocks.

Stoughton, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalStoughton junior Val Whalen had an impressive afternoon at the net, recording 17 kills in the win. Christina Gelin and Riley Bagley combined for over 60 digs for the Black Knights.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 7 – FinalFreshman Erin Walsh scored her first career goal and then added three more in the game for a total of four goals. Alex Sullivan had three assists on Walsh’s goales while Brayden Downing had one. Downing also had a goal on an assist from Caroline Jackson, her first varsity point. Sophomore Cassi Ronan added a goal and an assist with Maddie Hinckley and Maeve Ledwith rounding out the scoring with a goal and an assist respectively. Senior goalie Sam Hertzberg picked up the shutout making three saves.

Canton, 0 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final Lily Daly scored the lone goal of the game, putting the Warriors ahead with a second half strike.

King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Caitlin Donahue put King Philip ahead with a first half goal off an assist from Alli Meehan. The Hornets responded with a tying goal in the second half but Donahue scored twice more, one off an assist from Christina Hathaway and another from Meehan again. Mansfield scored in the final seconds for its second goal of the game.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Milford, 2 – Final After a scoreless first half, goals from Kaleigh Cole and Julia Feid put North Attleboro up 2-0 but the Scarlet Hawks rallied for a tie. Elena Dello Russo scored with just under eight minutes to play to cut into the deficit and Tina Capone scored with under a minute to play to tie the game. Emily Smith made 12 saves in the cage for Milford.

Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – FinalFive different players each recorded a goal in Oliver Ames’ win over Taunton. Kendall Clifford, Dimitra Efremidis, Meaghan Rockey, Sydney Hedrick and Cristina Boudreau each scored once for OA. Head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Davenport had a strong defensive game for OA.

Stoughton, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalKamryn Oliviera scored a pair of goals for the Black Knights, while Mia Russell and Julia Russell had scored a goal each. Erin Dougherty scored for Sharon.

Oliver Ames, 163 @ Attleboro, 185 – Final – Oliver Ames punched its ticket to the state tournament with the win. Thomas Walsh’s round of 40 led the way for the Tigers while Brady Allbritton and Ryan McGarry each shot 41 on the day.

North Attleboro, 169 @ King Philip, 180 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon had the match low round of 38 while Sebastian Ladoulis had a team-low round of 42 for King Philip.

Canton, 161 @ Milford, 153 – Final Ryan Tomaso was shot a 35 to earn match medalist honors and Anthony Arcudi carded a 36 as the Scarlet Hawks handed Canton its first loss. Matt Minichiello shot a 39 for Canton and Danny Powers carded a round of 40.

Taunton, 188 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Brendan Loomer was the match medalist, shooting a low round of 38 to lead Mansfield. Jason Hindman added a 40 and David Norris shot a 42 on the day. Taunton’s Justin Proto carded a team low round of 40.

Stoughton, 4 @ Norwood, 3 – FinalFor the second time in as many days, Stoughton had a player record a hat trick. Loubensky Lucas netted his first hat trick of the season, a day after he scored a pair of goals and classmate Jordan Asnes recorded a hat trick against Milford. Sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon opened his account on the season, putting Stoughton ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute of a feed from Asnes. Ponce De Leon set Lucas up a minute later for a 2-0 lead. Stoughton added two goals early in the second half as Lucas took a pass from Tyler Melo and finished from inside the area and then scored on a penalty kick a minute later.

Girls Soccer
Stoughton, 2 vs. Norwood, 2 – Final – Freshman Abby Kashian and junior Emerson Sprague each scored for the Black Knights while head coach Tara Daniels said Gabby Diaz, Sarah Widrow, and Isabel Solem helped Stoughton keep possession throughout the game.

Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalThe Mansfield Hornets picked up a comfortable win at home, emerging with a 25-8, 25-12, 25-14 win. Meg Hill led Mansfield with 12 kills while Julia Harrison added nine kills. Chloe Peters had 19 service points, and Anna Kemp and Jolie O’Neil each had seven service points for the Hornets.

Canton, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – It might have been on a sweep, but it was a tight battle between Davenport foes Canton and Milford. Canton came away with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 win. “Both sides fought hard and played great defense,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Canton outside hitter Hannah Jerrier led the Bulldogs with seven kills and Erika Lum had six kills and 13 digs. Middles Emma Murphy and Casey Shea each had four kills and combined for 10 blocks. “We played our best team defense of the year,” Cawley said, led by libero Julia Panico with 24 digs and aided by Emily Lynch and Maria Mackie, who combined for 17 digs.

Foxboro, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Stoughton and Foxboro battled back and forth but the Black Knights shut the door with an emphatic 15-2 win in the fifth and final set. Stoughton junior Val Whalen led the Black Knights offense with 20 kills while senior Christina Gelin dominated the back row with 41 digs. Senior Riley Bagley added 20 digs for Stoughton.

Sharon, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – For Sharon, junior Jess Allan led the offense with eight kills and two aces, senior Natalie Kane had 12 blocks and three kills and setters Faythe Gomolka and Arianna Chabot combined for 15 assists. Chabot also went 16 for 16 at the service line.

Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin earned its third straight sweep, beating Taunton on the road. Maddie Kuzio had five aces and four digs, Lizzie Boynton had seven assists and four aces and Erin Skidmore had five kills, five digs and a pair of aces and blocks in the win.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Cristina Boudreau and Kayla Lozzi each scored a goal and added an assist as Oliver Ames blanked Attleboro on the road. Kayla Lozzi and Liz Nuss each scored once while Rachel Stryke registered an assist.

Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 6 – FinalJulia Ezepik registered a hat trick to pace Canton’s offense in the win.

Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – FinalLily Daly scored a pair of goals and had a pair of assists to lead the Warriors. Foxboro jumped out to a 3-0 lead by halftime behind both of Daly’s goals – one off an assist from Emma Daly, the other unassisted. Sophia DiCenso also scored in the first half on an assist from Lily Daly. Jenna Stamatov and Carlie Stern scored one for Foxboro and Caroline Wheatley added an assist.

Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper had high praise for sophomore goalie Christina Lucini, who made 12 saves to earn the shutout. “She was outstanding,” Cropper said. Cropper also lauded the effort of senior Maddie Derby, who she called “a stalwart on defense,” which included a defensive save behind Lucini.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Stoughton’s Gianna Barbosa and North Attleboro’s Liz Morehouse earned the shutouts in goal.

Jack Goyetch added a 40 while Jackson Maffeo, Joey Vaughan and Bubba McNeice each shot 41. Stoughton’s Josh Roos and Brendan Campbell each carded a round of 44 for the Black Knights.

Milford, 153 vs. Hopedale, 160 – Final – Ryan Tomaso shot a 34, Anthony Arcudi added a 38 and Tylor Renaud carded a 39 to lead the Scarlet Hawks.

King Philip, 174 @ Mansfield, 169 – Final – Jason Hindman shot a one under par 35 at Norton Country Club to lead the Hornets. Junior Brendan Loomer shot a 44 while David Norris and Madison Haughey each shot 45. Sebastian Ladoulis led King Philip with a 41.

Oliver Ames, 156 @ Taunton, 194 – Final – The Tigers of Oliver Ames had a consistent day at Segregansett Country Club. Ryan McGarry, Mark Bissonette, Nick Lombardi and Thomas Walsh all tied for the match medalist, with each shooting 39 on the day. Justin Proto led Taunton with a 43.

Milford, 167 @ Sharon, 173 – Final – Ryan Tomaso was the match medalist, shooting 39 at Spring Valley. Anthony Arcudi added a 42 for the Scarlet Hawks. Andrew Glaser led the way for Sharon, carding a 40.

Sharon, 15 @ Foxboro, 50 – Final – Foxboro was led by by Brendan Foley (20:37), followed by Matt Kelly (20:40), Mike Lite (21:01), Tyler Donovan (21:13), Jacob Sylvestre (21:14) and Paxton Downs (21:39).

Mansfield, 19 @ Taunton, 44 – Final Mansfield had seven of the top eight finishes and eight of the top 10 in the win over Taunton. Kalin Petrov won the race in a time of 17:07 while Taunton’s Dylan Lynch was second at 17:17. Mansfield’s Collin Rice (17:56), Patrick Heavey (17:56), Nick Rispoli (18:11), Arjun Sonti (18:12), Paxton Howard (18:17) and Cullen Lancaster (18″49) finished third through eighth respectively.

Oliver Ames, 25 @ Franklin, 30 – Final – Oliver Ames secured three of the top five spots to edge out the Panthers. OA’s Brent Schwartz won in 17:31 while Zane Reservitz finished fourth in 18:03 and Colin Herschlag was fifth at 18:05. Franklin’s Everett Henderson finished in second at 17:44 and Mike Hagen was third at 17:49.

Liz Peckham, Anna Loewald, Caroline McCarthy, and Jordan Rainville finished in the fourth through seventh places for OA.

Canton, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalThe Bulldogs won 25-17, 25-16, and 25-12 in the season opener. Nicole Poole paced Canton’s offense with 27 assists, five kills and five aces. Middle blockers Emma Murphy and Casey Shea each had six kills and libero Julia Panico has 21 digs. Outside hitter Hannah Jerrier had a good night in her first ever high volleyball match with five kills. For Attleboro, Lexi Pereira had six kills and Jenny St. Hilaire had 13 service points, including four aces.

Mansfield, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Hornets picked up the sweep on the road, winning 25-19, 25-19, 26-18. Jess Haradon had 14 digs and 11 service points for Mansfield while Meg Hill had eight kills and 10 service points and Chloe Peters had 11 service points and 23 assists.

Milford, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – In a marathon of a match, King Philip rallied from a two-set deficit to win in a thrilling fifth seth. King Philip won 22-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 22-20. Sydney Phillips led the Warriors with 19 kills while Emma Lopez added 16 kills. Carly Adams had 38 assists while Amanda Loewen had eight digs for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final The Panthers had nine corners, 24 shots on goal and didn’t allow a single shot on goal defensive in the win over North. Caroline Lounsbury gave Franklin the lead midway through the first half on a cross from Brayden Downing, sophomore Annie Walsh doubled the lead with an unassisted goal and sophomore Cassi Ronan capped the scoring off a corner from Walsh.

Milford, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Alli Meehan led the way for King Philip with a pair of goals and an assist. Christina Hathaway scored a beautiful goal from a penalty corner to start the game for the Warriors while Caitlin Donahue scored a hard shot from the left. Dana Truini had two assists and Liz Furfari added one for KP.

Stoughton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames scored four first half goals to earn its second win of the season. Sarah Stevens, Kayla Lozzi, Cristina Boudreau, and Kendall Clifford each scored once for the Tigers while Stevens added two helpers and Dimitra Efremidis had one assist. Head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Davenport, Sarah Tetrault and Erin McCormack had strong defensive games for the Tigers.

Golf
Franklin, 163 @ Oliver Ames, 147 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Ryan McGarry and Nick Lombardi were co-medalists for the match, each shooting a round-low 36 for the Tigers. Brady Allbritton added a 37 for OA. Franklin’s Matt Deo shut a team-best 37 for the Panthers.

Attleboro, 177 @ North Attleboro, 155 – Final – The Rocketeers had the top four finishes in the match with Dylan Kane earning match medalist by shooting a 36. Robbie Congdon added a 37 for North while David Colsanti and Thomas Puccio each shot 40. Attleboro’s Corey McKenna shot a team-best 43.

Foxboro, 199 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Mansfield senior Jason Hindman led the way for the Hornets, shooting a 35, a league-best so far this season. David Norris added a 41 and Madison Haughey added a 44 for Mansfield.

Canton, 167 @ Taunton, 183 – Final – Canton senior Matt Minichiello was the match medalist, carding a 39 on the day while junior Danny Powers shot a 42 for the Bulldogs. Taunton’s Mike Volkmann and Justin Proto each shot 42 for the Tigers.

Milford, 159 @ Stoughton, 178 – Final – Ryan Tomaso was the match medalist, leading Milford with a 36. Anthony Arcudi chipped in with a 39 for the Scarlet Hawks.

Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 1 – Final (8 inn.) – Nate Tellier scored both of Attleboro’s runs and tossed seven innings, allowing just one run to help the Bombardiers get a win in extra innings. King Philip took the lead in the fifth inning, with Jake Cavanagh getting hit by a pitch and then scoring on a single from Stephan MacMeans. Tellier reached on a walk in the sixth, stole second, moved to third on grounder and then scored when Will Carter made contact and the throw to home was off the mark. In the eighth inning, Tellier connected for a one out triple – his third triple in as many games – and scored on an RBI single from Pat Collins up the middle. On the mound, Tellier had 13 strikeouts, scattering five hits in seven innings of work. Matt Callahan pitched a perfect 1-2-3 inning in the bottom half of the eighth to clinch the win. Jack DiCenso allowed just one hit in 5.1 innings of work, striking out seven.

Canton, 6 @ Milford, 7 – Final – With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Anthony Arcudi connected for his second hit of the game, this one with the bases loaded to score Blake Hill for the game winning run. Hill hit a two-out double and Nick Johnson (HBP) and Marc Fornaciari (walk) loaded the bases. The Scarlet Hawks had 13 hits as a team with Hill (double, triple) and Arcudi leading the way. Chris Speroni, Alex Coady and Zach Tamagni each added a pair of hits for the Scarlet Hawks. Hill got the win on the mound after coming in relief and pitching a 1-2-3 inning in the seventh.

Stoughton, 13 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Jake Gibb reached base five times with three hits, including a double and a home run, walked twice and drove in a team best four runs to pace Stoughton’s offense. Doug Seaman went 2-4 with a pair of doubles, a stolen base, four runs scored and 2 RBI while Pat Hagerty reached four times and scored three times from in the lead-off spot. Nico Parmeggiani got the win on the mound, going four innings, allowing three runs (two earned), scattering six hits with three strikeouts and just two walks. Barry Cooke pitched well in relief, allowing just one run over three innings, striking out three.

Franklin, 0 @ Taunton, 7 – Final – Luke Figueira put in another strong performance for the Tigers on both the mound and at the plate. Figueira tossed six shutout innings, striking out seven while allowing just two hits. At the plate, the senior had three hits and an RBI. Brendon Mazerolle, Christian Simoes and Charles Hearrold III each had a pair of hits and an RBI for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 3 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – The Rocketeers continued the trend of scoring late inning runs, this time getting a walk off win over the Hornets. With the game tied, Brian Poillucci picked up his fourth hit of the game singling in pinch runner Bryan Harris for the winning run. Poillucci gave the Rocketeers the lead in the first, connecting for a two-run home run, scoring Kyle McCarthy. Mansfield tied the game in the fourth inning with two run shot from Mike Arnold, plating freshman Dan Saraceno (single). Aidan Cahill gave the Hornets their first lead in the sixth inning, scoring pinch runner Conor Driscoll but the Rocketeers tied the game in the bottom half when Ridge Olsen scored Brian Poillucci (triple) with a sacrifice fly. Poillucci finished 4-4 with three runs scored. Matt Papineau got the win for the Rocketeers, tossing a complete game with three strikeouts. Jared Menzer threw a complete game for the Hornets, striking out four.

Oliver Ames, 13 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Ryan Adams had a huge day at the plate for the Tigers, driving in five runs on three hits. Josh Minuskin, Chris Romero, Chris Pearsons and Adam Burr all registered a pair of hits for Oliver Ames.

Softball
King Philip, 18 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final (6 inn.) – The Warriors pounded out 21 hits, led by Sydney Phillips’ three run home run and four total hits. Brooke Taute and Kali Magane each had three hits while Christa Wagner (home run), Meghan Gorman, Elise Pereira and Jessica Bonner all had two hits for the Warriors. Pereira got the win, allowing just one hit in four innings of work. Magane finished the game with four strikeouts in two innings of work.

Milford, 12 @ Canton, 1 – Final – Emily Piergustavo was perfect at the plate, going 5-5 with a double, a triple and knocked in a pair of runs. Maggie Farrell was also perfect, going 4-4 with a double and driving in a team-high four RBI and Jill Powers went 2-4 with three RBI and a home run. Kelley Reichert got the win, scattering three hits without giving up a run while striking out four.

Foxboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 6 – Final – Stoughton was led offensively by freshman Jordan Lyons, who went 2-3 with a pair of runs scored and improved her season average to .500. Jenni D’Andrea also added a pair of hits for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 0 @ Taunton, 5 – Final – The Tigers were limited to their lowest offensive output of the season but Aimee Kistner was strong in the circle, striking out five while allowing no runs or walks and just four hits in a complete game effort. Kistner was backed by strong defense, including a nice backhanded play by Jaime Brown down the third base line that resulted in a double play and backhand catch from Bailey Clapp in left with two runnings on. Kistner went 2-2 at the play with a triple and two RBI, Brown was 2-3 with a double, triple and run scored, Liana Duarte went 2-4 and Sarah Bagge was 2-3 with a run.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Freshman Madyson Bendanillo went 3-4 for the Hornets with a pair of RBI and two runs scored. Rachel Carafa also went 2-3 with a pair of RBI for Mansfield, while Maddie Letendre struck out 11 and allowed two earned runs in a complete game win. North Attleboro was led by Jordan Sharpe, who was 2-4 with two RBI, and also got two hits each from Meg Barlow and Gina Miceli. North had seven batters record at least one hit, but left 13 runners on base, including the tying run at first in the seventh.

Sharon, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final – Oliver Ames’ offense produced 12 hits to score double-digit runs for the second time this season. Lexie Campbell was 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored, Victoria Ziner was 2-2 with four runs scored and an RBI, Jamie Gottwald was 2-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI, Katie Pursley was 2-4 with four RBI and Dalene Gomes was 2-4 with an RBI. OA’s Jordyn Leite and Katie Mills both had a hit for the Tigers as well.

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 12 @ Attleboro, 6 – Final – OA senior attack Matt Gilson had three goals, sophomore attack Eric LeBlanc had three goals and three assists and sophomore Owen Gallagher had a pair of goals and one assist for the Tigers. Head coach Chris DiGiacomo said junior Sean Cosgrove was solid in net in his first varsity start.

Franklin, 19 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Senior Trevor Drake scored a pair of goals and had an assist while sophomore Luke Downie scored once and had two assists and sophomore Jonathan O’Glishen scored twice.

Attleboro, 13 @ Oliver Ames, 9 – Final – After a high scoring first half that saw the Bombardiers take a 9-7 lead in the halftime break, Attleboro was able to limit the Tigers to just two second half goals. Hannah Lamothe led Attleboro with four goals while Sam Spaziano scored twice and had two assists. Kayla Merritt added two goals and an assist while Kyra Lions scored once and had an assist. Mish Logie added two goals for the Bombardiers while Emily Patton and Meg Dotzenrod each scored once.

Canton, 6 @ Watertown, 16 – Final

Taunton, 2 @ Franklin, 20 – Final – Franklin raced out to a big lead by halftime and never looked back. Kenzi Pleshaw scored three goals, including her 100th career goal to pace the Panthers. Senior Dani Lonati scored her first career goal for the Panthers.

Justin Rohan won 6-2, 6-4 at second singles and Marco DiStefano won 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. Sam Colella and Jake Webster paired up for a 6-3, 6-3 win at first doubles and Aidan Ignatius and Tim Costanzo stepped in to pick up a 6-1, 6-1 win at second doubles.

Shawn McNamara and Brandon Wasserman won 6-2, 6-1 at first doubles for the Warriors and Taha Baig and Paul Darcy won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

Franklin, 5 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin junior Rahul Herur won 6-1, 6-3 at first singles, junior Eli Brooks won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and freshman Dan Barrow won 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. Junior James Johnston and senior Tom Mancini won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles while seniles Cam Piana and Jeremy Gan won 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles.

Mansfield, 1 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – The Rocketeers picked up wins at first and third singles and both doubles to get the win. Mitchell Dyer won 6-3, 6-4 at first singles and junior Zack Pfeffer won 6-2, 7-5 at third singles for Big Red. North Attleboro also got wins from seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch at first doubles (6-3, 6-0) and senior Jake Fontes and junior Daniel Zhang at second doubles (6-2, 6-3). Mansfield’s win came from freshman Luke Nickerson at second singles (7-5, 6-3).

Jude Aboukhater won 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 at third singles, Tiffany Ha and Sarah MacQuarrie won 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles and Talya Mayman and Julia Buskowsky won 7-5, 6-3 at second doubles for Canton.

Taunton, 3 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – The Panthers got wins at first and second singles but the Tigers were able to win at third singles and in both doubles to get the win. Delaney DeAvila won 6-3, 6-0 (injury) at third singles, Ashleigh Eason and Emily Moor won 7-5, 6-3 at first doubles and Jillian Pagliuca and Caroline Hebert won 6-2, 6-4 at second doubles.
