Taunton, 61 @ Attleboro, 64 – Final – A back and forth fourth quarter ended with a big three from Jake Dunkley and a key free throw as the Bombardiers scored their first win over Taunton since Valentine’s Day 2013. Dunkley finished with a game-high 20 points while Kyle Murphy, Andrew Milliken and Lucas Boucicaut each had 12 points. Carlos Borrero led Taunton with 17 points while Jose Mercado added 13 points. 

Sharon, 59 @ Canton, 50 – Final

Oliver Ames, 39 @ Foxboro, 47- Final – Jason Procaccini’s 15 points was a game-high as Foxboro grinded to a win to clinch at least a share of the Davenport division title. It marks the program’s first ever Davenport title and first league title since 2003. Charlie Ryan had 12 points for Oliver Ames. 

Mansfield, 55 @ Franklin, 51 – Final – Franklin rallied from a 15 point second half deficit to get within two in the final minutes but a big shot from Mansfield’s Matt Ehrlich and key stops sealed the win for the Hornets. Tyler Boulter had a team-high 12 points while Sam Goldberg had 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Matt Ehrlich (four rebounds, four assists) and Christian Weber each had nine points, Nick Baskin had six and Max Boen had five points and four assists. Franklin sophomore Connor Peterson scored 21 points and hauled in nine rebounds while freshman Jay Dieterle netted 18 points. 
King Philip, 38 @ North Attleboro, 49 – Final – Mario Bresko led the Rocketeers with 12 points.
Stoughton, 53 @ Milford, 59 – Final – Dimitry Torres once again led the way for the Scarlet Hawks, dropping in a game-high 21 points. Zack Tamagni added 13 points while Anthony Arcudi chipped in with 19 points. Dwight Anderson had nine points and 10 rebounds while Kayden Kelley added 10 rebounds. Stoughton sophomore Cam Andrews had a team-high 18 points. 
Girls Basketball
Canton, 43 @ Sharon, 67 – FinalCharlotte Ransom scored 19 points and six rebounds for Sharon. The Eagles also got a career-high 18 points from Emma Eberhardt and 16 points and five rebounds from Alyssa Piazza.
Foxboro, 40 @ Oliver Ames, 55 – FinalNiyera Mitchell came off the bench for OA to score 15 points and pull down 17 rebounds, both of which were game highs. Kayla Raymond added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Francesca Calabraro scored 11. Ashley Sampson was the top scorer for Foxboro with 15 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, and Cassidy Harrison added 12.
Franklin, 38 @ Mansfield, 44 – FinalMeg Hill and Caroline Maher led the way for Mansfield with 12 points apiece. Lauren Rudolph was the top scorer for Franklin with eight points.
North Attleboro, 60 @ King Philip, 35 – FinalCaroline Collard and Ashley Ahern each scored 13 points for the Rocketeers. Riley Dalzell led the Warriors with 13 points.
Milford, 59 @ Stoughton, 41 – Final – Christine Pye was the top scorer for the Hawks with 14 points, while Jill Powers chipped in with 10.
Attleboro, 63 @ Taunton, 30 – FinalEmily Houle scored 31 points to lead the Bombardiers and is now only 21 points away from 1,000 for her career.

North Attleboro, 70 @ Stoughton, 78 – Final – Cam Andrews scored 18 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to pace the Black Knights. Ryan Sullivan tied a career-high with 16 points, Brandon Teixeira had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Elson Lopes added 11 points and five assists. North Attleboro’s Jonny Friberg had a career-high 23 points and added 13 points while Brent Doherty had 20 points. 
Girls Basketball
Milford, 29 @ Mansfield, 56 – FinalCaroline Maher led the Hornets with 14 points, while Olivia Broyles added a career-high 12 points. Katie Irwin was the top scorer for the Hawks with 11 points.
Stoughton, 26 @ North Attleboro, 45 – FinalSamantha Taggart and Caroline Collard were the top scorers for North with nine points apiece. Ashley Ahern added seven and Emily Schromm six points for the Rocketeers, while Emily Peters chipped in with 13 rebounds. Alecia Quinones led Stoughton with 11 points, all in the third quarter, and Val Whalen added six points and 16 boards.

Canton, 42 vs. Norwood 52 – Final – Tony Harris scored a career-high 22 points and hauled in five rebounds but the Bulldogs couldn’t recover from a 12-0 run for Norwood in the second half. Michael Harris added 10 points and five rebounds. 
Foxboro, 65 vs. Bridgewater-Raynham, 53 – FinalJason Procaccini led the Warriors with 21 points and seven rebounds. Alex DuBrow finished with 15 points, five rebounds, and six boards and Rob Lowey had a double-double of 12 points and 12 boards. Foxboro clinched the win with a 22-6 fourth quarter.
Milford, 75 vs. North Attleboro, 63 – Final – Milford connected on 12 three pointers for the second straight game. Sophomore Kayden Kelley had a career-high 16 points and added eight rebounds. Dimitry Torres also scored 16 points for the Scarlet Hawks. North Attleboro’s Brent Doherty had a game-high 21 points and sophomore Mario Bresko added 17 points. 
Mansfield, 66 @ Brockton, 68 – Final (OT) – Brockton rallied from a 10 point deficit at the end of the third quarter and then stole the ball on Mansfield’s final effort in overtime. Matt Ehrlich had a team-high 20 points and five rebounds, Max Boen had 14 points and three assists and Sam Golberg had nine points to go along with 13 rebounds.

North Attleboro, 63 @ Durfee, 45  FinalAshley Ahern was the top scorer for the Rocketeers with 16 points. Caroline Collard added 12 points and Emily Peters had 10.

Boys Basketball
Canton, 51 @ Attleboro, 60 – Final – With the game tied, Attleboro used an 8-0 run to start the fourth quarter and used that as separation to beat Canton. Jake Dunkley had a game-high 18 points and added seven rebounds, Andrew Milliken had 10 points and six rebounds and Kevin Aguirre chipped in with a career best 10 points.

Foxboro, 64 @ North Attleboro, 57 – Final – Jason Procaccini and Alex DuBrow each scored 18 points for the Warriors and Rob Lowey added 10 points. North Attleboro senior Ridge Olsen had a game-high 19 points and junior Brent Doherty added 17 points.

Milford, 58 @ Franklin, 74 – Final – Final – Milford had a lead midway through the third quarter but the Panthers outscored the Scarlet Hawks 36-18 over the final 12 minutes of play. Franklin freshman Jay Dieterle tied a career-high with 24 points while sophomore Connor Peterson chipped in 14 points. Milford’s Dwight Anderson had 19 points and Anthony Arcudi added 11 points. 

Oliver Ames, 57 @ King Philip, 62 – Final – Tom Madden might have scored just eight points but KP head coach Matt Coute said they all came at a big time, including a fourth quarter three. Madden added a career best 10 rebounds as the Warriors rallied from a halftime deficit. Noah Goodwin led the Warriors with 18 points and Seth Sullivan added 16 points. Oliver Ames’ Carter Evin had a game-high 21 points and Tim Kelley added 13 points.

Sharon, 62 @ Taunton, 59 – Final – Up three, the Eagles elected to foul to send the Tigers to the line instead of giving them a chance to tie. Taunton missed the front end of the bonus and Sharon was able to hold on. Sharon had 11 players score with junior Peter Banks leading the way with 12 points, Matt Lowerre adding 11 points and Michael Zola adding nine points. Taunton’s Quan Roberson had a game-high 18 points while Tommy MacLean and Jose Mercado each added 11 points. 

Mansfield, 70 @ Stoughton, 52 – Final – Junior Christian Weber connected on six three pointers for a career-high 19 points and the Hornets stretched a five point lead at the end of three into an 18 point win. Nick Baskin added 13 points and Max Boen had 11 points and five rebounds. 
Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 61 @ Canton, 28 – Final – Sarah Deyo scored 19 points, Emily Houle scored 14 points and Samantha Pierce added 12 points for Attleboro. Canton’s Hannah Jerrier led the Bulldogs with eight points. 

North Attleboro, 53 @ Foxboro, 49 – Final – North Attleboro was led by Ashley Ahern, who scored 23 points, while Caroline Collard added 12 for the Rocketeers. Ashley Sampson had 24 points for Foxboro.

Franklin, 68 @ Milford, 42 – Final – The Panthers broke the game open with a 24-6 second quarter. Lauren Rudolph was Franklin’s top scorer with 14. Aubrie Kutil added 12 points for the Panthers and Olivia Adiletto had 10. Milford’s Kate Irwin finished with 13 points.

King Philip, 27 @ Oliver Ames, 40 – Final – Kayla Raymond paced the Tigers with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds and senior Kaitlyn McCarthy scored 12 points. With the win, OA coach Laney Clement-Holbrook broke the state record for career victories with her 634th win. KP was led by Julia Leroux with eight points and Christina Hathaway with seven.

Mansfield, 51 @ Stoughton, 36 – Final – Meg Hill and Caroline Maher were the top scorers for the Hornets, each with 17 points. Alecia Quinones had 16 points and nine rebounds for Stoughton.

Taunton, 30 @ Sharon, 43 – Final – The Eagles broke open a tight game by scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory. Charlotte Ransom led the way for Sharon with 12 points and eight rebounds, while Shira Stoller had nine points and four assists and Veronica Wallace added nine as well.

Tuesday’s Schedule & Scoreboard – 01/19/16

Boys Basketball
Attleboro, 57 @ Sharon, 73 – Final – Attleboro cut a 10-point Sharon lead at halftime down to two in the third quarter but the Eagles were able to pull away. Sharon hit 12 three pointers between three players – senior Matt Lowerre hit five, sophomore Jimmy Fitzhenry hit four and senior Tyler Smith had three. Fitzhenry finished with a game-high 20 points and Lowerre had 17 points. Attleboro junior Jake Dunkley had 19 points and nine rebounds and sophomore Nate Douglas chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds. 

King Philip, 66 @ Canton, 53 – Final – King Philip stormed out to a 20-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Senior Ben Smith his six three pointers for a game-high 18 points, freshman Kyle Layman had 15 points and eight rebounds, junior Noah Goodwin had 13 points and junior Pharoah Davis had 12 points. Canton senior Griffin Jerrier scored a team-high 13 points for the Bulldogs. 

Mansfield, 51 @ Foxboro, 69 – Final – Foxboro used an 11-0 run in the middle of the second quarter to create separation while its defense prevent Mansfield from gathering any momentum offensively. Foxboro senior Alex DuBrow scored a game-high 22 points and had eight rebounds, senior Rob Lowey had 16 points and eight rebounds and senior Jason Procaccini added 14 points and five rebounds. Mansfield junior Sam Goldberg had 10 points to lead the Hornets. 

Franklin, 83 @ Stoughton, 63 – Final – The Panthers held a six point lead at halftime (41-35) as the two teams combined for over 75 points in the first half. Franklin had a 23 point third quarter and added 19 more points in the final quarter. Sophomore Connor Peterson had a game-high 16 points while senior Tim Prunier and freshman Jay Dieterle each added 15 points for Franklin. Stoughton senior Brandon Teixeira had a team-high 14 points for the Black Knights. 

Taunton, 62 @ Milford, 50 – Final – Milford held a four point lead at halftime and at the end of the third quarter but Taunton won the fourth quarter 29-13 to get the win. Taunton junior Tommy MacLean scored 20 points in the win for the Tigers. Milford sophomore Kayden Kelley had 14 points and 15 rebounds, Dimitry Torres added 11 points and Dwight Anderson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Scarlet Hawks. 

North Attleboro, 74 @ Oliver Ames, 70 – Final – Brent Doherty scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Rocketeers. North Attleboro held a 20 point lead at halftime (44-24) but Oliver Ames stormed back with 25 points in the third quarter and 13 more in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime tied 62-62-. Doherty connected on seven three pointers and went 3/4 from the free throw line in overtime. Sophomore Mario Bresko finished with seven points, including a key three pointer in overtime. Junior Jonny Friberg scored a career-high 18 points and had 10 rebounds for North. Oliver Ames’ Carter Evin scored 21 of his career-high 26 points in the second half to help OA get back into it. Tim Kelley added 23 points and senior Shawn Cardoza had nine points for the Tigers. 
Girls Basketball
Canton, 38 @ King Philip, 56 – FinalThe Warriors turned the game around with a 22-4 second quarter. Shannon O’Connor was the top scorer for KP with 10. Sam Madden and Julia Lerouix each scored nine for the Warriors. Canton was led by Emma Murphy with nine points.
Foxboro, 45 @ Mansfield, 49 – Final – Jen Peel was Mansfield’s top scorer with 14 points. Juliana Newell added 10 points and pulled in 12 rebounds and Meg Hill grabbed 14 boards. Cassidy Harrison had a game-high 19 points to lead the Warriors.
Stoughton, 35 @ Franklin, 55 – FinalOlivia Adiletto was the top scorer for Franklin with 13 points. Lauren Rudolph added 11 for the Panthers, who had 10 players on the score sheet. Stoughton was led by Alecia Quinones with 11 points.
Milford, 40 @ Taunton, 44 – FinalThe Tigers rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring Milford 14-7, to pick up their first win of the season. Alyssa Gibson led the way for Taunton with 13 points and nine rebounds. Jordan Wade added nine and Kia Pate had 10 rebounds. Milford was led by Katie Irwin with 12 points and Nicole Dahlgren added 10.
Oliver Ames, 49 @ North Attleboro, 52 – FinalThe Rocketeers were led by forwards Caroline Collard and Emily Peters who combined for 24 points. Julia Feid added 13 for North. The Tigers were led by Kayla Raymond with 15 points.
Sharon, 35 @ Attleboro, 75 – Final – Emily Houle scored 33 points and added seven steals to pace the Bombardiers to a big win. Sarah Deyo chipped in with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Sam Pierce added another 10 points. Emma Eberhardt was Sharon’s top scorer with 14 and Veronica Wallace added 11.

Foxboro, 70 @ Westwood, 55 – Final – Senior Jason Procaccini scored a career-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds for his first double-double with the Warriors. Classmate Alex DuBrow also had a career-high, scoring 24 points and adding six assists. DuBrow was named the Westwood Holiday Invitational MVP. Robbie Lowey had seven points and 11 rebounds for Foxboro. 
Milford, 59 @ Hopedale, 81 – Final
North Attleboro, 37 vs. Bishop Feehan, 50 – Final – Junior Jonny Friberg scored a team-best 11 points off the bench for the Rocketeers and classmate Brent Doherty chipped in with seven points.
Oliver Ames, 67 vs. Falmouth, 42 – Final – Oliver Ames’ offense had its best game of the season led by Carter Evin, who scored 15 points and was named the Muscato Tournament MVP. Dylan Mahoney had a team-high 16 points and was named a tournament all star.
Stoughton, 54 @ Randolph, 61 – Final – Brandon Teixeira scored a team-high 20 points and was named an all star for the Blue Devils Holiday Tournament.
Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 55 @ Dartmouth, 45 – Final

Foxboro, 39 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 37 – Final – Cassidy Harrison led Foxboro with 12 points as the Warriors were able to hold off a late push from the Trojans.

Milford, 54 @ Hopedale, 41 – Final

North Attleboro, 51 @ Bishop Feehan, 85 – FinalSamantha Taggart led the Rocketeers with 12 points while Ashley Ahern and Caroline Collard each chipped in with nine points.
Sharon, 59 vs. Sandwich, 41 – Final – Charlotte Ransom was the top scorer for Sharon with 19 points and fellow captain Alyssa Piazza had 15. The Eagles broke open a one-point game with a 22-8 third quarter.
Hockey
Attleboro, 6 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Sam Larkin scored his first career goal with a penalty shot and Evan Andrews made 16 saves to earn his first varsity win for the Bombardiers. Attleboro also got goals from Nick Miniati, Jack Flynn, Keigan Larkin, Dan Creavin, and Jake Parker.

Canton, 1 vs. Westwood, 1 – FinalBobby Mullaney gave Canton the lead in the first period off an assist by Shaun Kirby but Westwood tied it in the second against the run of play. The Bulldogs outshot Westwood 30-14 for the game (25-5 in the final two periods). 
Franklin, 2 vs. St. Joseph, 4 – Final

King Philip, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – Final – Matt Mancini netted his first hat trick and Owen Gallagher had a trio of assists and one goal for Oliver Ames. King Philip sophomore Collin Cooke had a pair of goals for the Warriors. 

Taunton, 7 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Tyler Pietrzyk and Jordan Hoey each scored a pair of goals for Taunton while Nick Croft, Mike Volkmann and Mike Albert each scored once. RJ Stansbury and Griffin Burns each scored for Milford.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Dedham, 1 – Final – Junior Zach McGowan scored his first goal in the second period to tie the game and then scored the game-winner in the third period to lift the Rocketeers. 

Stoughton, 4 vs. Apponequet/Connolly, 3 – Final – Junior captain Jon Lessa found the back of the net twice to help Stoughton edge Apponequet/Connolly at home.
