Attleboro, 66 @ Milford, 53 – FinalAttleboro exploded for 26 points in the second quarter, turning a four-point lead after one quarter into a 39-20 advantage by halftime. Mason Houle hit three of his six triples in the second quarter and finished with a career-high 25 points to lead the way for the Bombardiers. Kevin Velazquez added seven of his 12 points in the quarter and grabbed nine rebounds, Tim Callahan added nine points and eight rebounds and Qualeem Charles finished with eight points and 13 rebounds. Brendan White had a team-high 17 points for the Hawks.

Oliver Ames, 58 @ Canton, 65 – Final (OT)Canton junior Kyle Fitzgerald tied the game with a free throw with two seconds left in overtime, and the Bulldogs went 12-for-16 from the line in the extra period to prevail with a win over Oliver Ames. Fitzgerald’s (eight points) free throw knotted the score at 53-53. Canton did not score a field goal in the extra four minutes but was successful from the free throw line. Devin Foster had a team-high 18 points and 11 rebounds, Ryan Lentol added 12 points and both Matt Giglio and Eric Mischler finished with 10 points apiece Sean O’Brien hit five threes and finished with a team-high 17 points while Amari Brown added 14 points.

King Philip, 57 @ Foxboro, 61 – FinalKing Philip made a late push to get back into the game but Foxboro made 12 of its 18 makes from the free throw line in the final frame to secure the win. Foxboro led 38-37 going into the final frame and used a 10-0 run to take a 52-44 lead with under three minutes to play, but KP refused to go away. KP cut it to three, 56-53, with 21 seconds left but Foxboro was able to hold on, getting clutch free throws from senior Anthony Mollica (11 points). Junior Brandon Borde added 17 points and sophomore Kevin Gallagher finished with 13 points for Foxboro. KP senior Bruce Saintilus had a game-high 18 points and junior Alex Fritz had 16 points.

Franklin, 74 @ Sharon 35 – FinalFranklin jumped out to a 16-11 lead after eight minutes and then poured in 27 points in the second quarter to record a win on the road at Sharon. Jalen Samuels (eight points), Chris Edgehill (10 points), James Marsh (11 points) and Brayden Sullivan each connected on a three in the second quarter. Will Harvey added 12 points, including 10 in the opening quarter.

Mansfield, 45 @ North Attleboro, 43 – FinalNorth Attleboro scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and had a chance to tie or win the game but couldn’t get the last shot to fall. Mansfield held a 43-40 lead before sophomore Matty Boen hit a free throw to push it to four with 26 seconds left. North Attleboro senior Josh Montague (11 points) responded with a three-point play with 18 seconds left to make it 44-43. Sam Stevens pushed Mansfield’s lead to 45-43 with a free throw and then North Attleboro’s three at the buzzer was just off giving the Hornets the win. Mansfield led 25-19 at half and each team scored seven points in the third as the Hornets led 32-26 going into the final frame. Damani Scott had 12 points and TH Guy added 10 points for Mansfield.

Girls Basketball
Milford, 27 @ Attleboro, 54 – FinalAttleboro had 10 players score in a big win. Liv McCall paced the Bombardiers with 11 points and Nyah Thomas chipped in with 10. Emma Lawrence was Milford’s top scorer with 11 points.

Foxboro, 49 @ King Philip, 53 – Final (OT)The Warriors battled back from as many as 15 points down in the second half to force overtime against the defending Div. 2 state champs, before outscoring Foxboro 8-4 in the OT period. Shannon O’Connor scored 18 points and Julia Leroux added 10 for KP, which has already doubled ast year’s win total and is only two wins from clinching a return to the state tournament. Katelyn Mollica scored 22 in the loss. KP coach Amy Siggens credited the team’s defensive effort for the win, saying that it kept stepping up and being aggressive in the second half to limit the league’s top offensive team to 15 points below its season average in regulation.

Sharon, 25 @ Franklin, 53 – FinalFranklin continued its unbeaten start to league play with a dominant second half. Ali Brigham led the way again for the Panthers with 18 points and Megan O’Connell added 15. Telishya Herbert scored 10 points for the Eagles.

North Attleboro, 39 @ Mansfield, 48 – FinalMansfield had the lead from the start, but North kept things close throughout. The Hornets used a 19-13 fourth quarter to seal the win. Maggie Danehy recorded another double-double for the Hornets with 13 points and 15 rebounds, while Mady Bendanillo and Emily Vigeant each added 12 points. Julia Feid scored a dozen points to lead the Rocketeers and Regan Fein scored nine.

Stoughton, 68 @ Taunton, 46 – FinalShyanne Trinh scored a team-high 16 points to get the Black Knights back on track with a road win. Aliyah Wright scored 15 and Sydnee Hyacinthe had 13 in the victory.

Attleboro, 63 @ Taunton, 60 – FinalTied at 53 apiece late in the game, Attleboro closed . the game with a 10-7 run to edge the Tigers. The Bombardiers jumped ahead 60-53 with a 7-0 run, bookended with free throws from Bryant Ciccio (18 points) along with a layup from Mason Houle. Taunton responded with a three from John Martins and a steal and layup from Mike Quinn (12 points) to get within two. With 10.8 seconds left, Taunton had the ball down 62-60 but Tim Callahan helped force a turnover, Ciccio hit one of two free throws and Qualeem Charles (21 points, 11 rebounds) grabbed the offensive board and Attleboro kept possession as time expired. Dante Law led Taunton with 20 points while Wesner Charles added 10 points.

Sharon, 49 @ Foxboro, 69 – FinalFoxboro built a nine-point advantage over three quarter and then turned it on during the fourth, pouring in 30 points in the final quarter to pull away from the visiting Eagles. The Warriors led by two (10-8) after one, and six (25-19) by halftime. Foxboro increased its lead to nine (39-30) entering the fourth. Junior Will Morrison scored 10 of his 12 points in the final quarter, one of four Warriors to score double-digits. Anthony Mollica had a team-high 17 points, sophomore Kevin Gallagher added 15 points and senior Ryan Hughes finished with 11 points, all in the first three quarters. Sharon’s Kiran Chandrasekaran led the Eagles with 10 points and Caleb Gayle added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Franklin, 61 @ Oliver Ames, 40 – Final Franklin limited Oliver Ames to just 16 points in the second half, turning a six-point halftime advantage in a double-digit win. The Panthers led 16-12 after one and 30-24 at half but didn’t allow the Tigers to score double digits in either the third (14-9) or the fourth (17-7). Senior Jalen Samuels led the Panthers with 15 points, including eight in the fourth quarter while classmate Jake Macchi added a career-high 14 points (five in the fourth), connecting on four three pointers. Senior Ethan Eckstrom and sophomore Amari Brown each had eight points for the Tigers.

King Philip, 69 @ Mansfield, 65 – FinalKing Philip hit five three-pointers and exploded for 28 points in the fourth quarter to earn a score a big come-from-behind upset on the road at Mansfield. It marks the Warriors’ first win against the Hornets since February 2012, snapping a 12-game skid. KP trailed by nine with just over five minutes to go before outscoring the Hornets 25-12 over that period. Junior Alex Fritz scored 10 of his career-high 20 points in the final quarter while Tim Nault poured in three triples in the final frame to finish with 17 points. Bruce Saintilus added 16 points and Sam Sesay added for KP. Mansfield senior Damani Scott had a team-high 15 points and sophomore TJ Guy added 13 points for the Hornets.

Milford, 74 @ Stoughton, 54 – FinalMilford senior Brendan White poured in a career-high 40 points and hauled in 18 rebounds to lead the Scarlet Hawks to a big win on the road. White scored 13 points in the opening quarter, helping the Hawks jump out ahead 18-9, and then added 10 in the second as Milford built a 37-21 lead by halftime. White had 15 made field goals, including three three-pointers, and connected on four free throws. Brendon Sailer added 11 points and Jordan Darling finished with 10 points for Milford. Sophomore Brett Pendenza had a team-high 10 points for the Black Knights.

Girls Basketball
Taunton, 46 @ Attleboro, 60 – FinalAttleboro used a balanced offensive attack to pull out the division win at home. Liv McCall paced the Bombardiers with 12, but she got a lot of help from Kenzie Roberts and Emma Reilly, who each scored 11. Ryan Johnson and Gabby Bosh also played well off the Attleboro bench, according to coach Marty Crowley. Sonya Fernandez led the Tigers with 14 and Tori DeRosa chipped in with 10.

Canton, 59 @ North Attleboro, 69 – FinalNorth Attleboro continued its surge up the standings with a strong performance against Canton. Amanda Kaiser scored 22 points and Julia Feid added 19 for the Rocketeers, who scored a season-high 69 points as a team. Olivia Forbes added eight in the win. Sydney Gallery scored 15 points and her sister Fay added 14 for the Bulldogs. North has won five of its last six games, with the only loss being at Franklin.

Foxboro, 54 @ Sharon, 44 – FinalThe defending Div. 2 state champs have booked a place in the state tournament with their 10th straight win to start the season, but it was not easy. Foxboro needed a 14-4 run in the final four-plus minutes to keep the win streak alive. Lizzy Davis was the top scorer for Foxboro with 16, while Katelyn Mollica added 15 and Chelsea Gibbons had 14 in the win. Telishya Herbert matched Davis, scoring 16 points to lead the Eagles. Emma Eberhardt had 11 points and Kaitlyn Wallace had eight to help Sharon put a scare into the Davenport leaders.

Oliver Ames, 36 @ Franklin, 62 – FinalOA led by three after one quarter, but Franklin rallied to grab the lead by halftime. In the third quarter, the Panthers broke the game wide open, going on a 24-6 run that put them in front for good. Megan O’Connell had a big game for the hosts, scoring 18 points, to help Franklin stay unbeaten in the league and remain two games ahead of Mansfield in the title race. Bea Bondhus had 15 points, on five three-pointers, and Ali Brigham had 13 in the win. Hailey Bourne was the top scorer for OA with nine points.

Stoughton, 67 @ Milford, 32 – FinalHailey Egan helped Stoughton get back on track, scoring 13 points to lead the Black Knights. Lindsay McDonald had 11 points and eight rebounds, while Sydnee Hyacinthe had 10 points, four assists, and five steals.

Mansfield, 56 @ Hanover, 54 – Final (OT)Sophomore Matt Boen scored five of his team-high 14 points in the overtime period to help the Hornets secure the win. Tied 48-48 at the end of regulation, Boen had a key three-point play and hit two free throws in the extra period to lift Mansfield. Seniors Damani Scott and Tommy Dooling each added 11 points for Mansfield.

Girls Hockey
Franklin, 4 @ Dedham, 2 – FinalWith less than four minutes left, the Panthers were holding onto a one-goal advantage but were faced with two players in the box. Regan Paterson iced the game with a big shorthanded goal to extend Franklin’s advantage to 4-2 and help the Panthers qualify for the state tournament. Paterson also had two assists, Tina Pisano had a goal and two assists, Libby Carter scored twice, and Jordan Dwyer had one helper.

Attleboro, 79 @ King Philip, 60 – FinalAttleboro outscored King Philip 29-10 in the second quarter to turn a deficit into the separation it needed for the rest of the way. The Warriors held a 20-18 advantage after one but Attleboro’s offense poured in 29 points in the second quarter to take a 47-30 lead into the break. Junior Bryant Ciccio scored 10 of his game-high 20 points in the second frame while senior Kevin Velazquez added seven of his career-high 19 points in the second. Attleboro junior Qualeem Charles shined with 16 points and 15 boards. King Philip’s Tim Nault, Bruce Saintilus, and Sam Sesay each scored 12 points.

Canton, 54 @ Sharon, 38 – FinalCanton turned it on the fourth quarter, scoring 21 points to pull away from a pesky Eagles team to earn the win. Canton led 18-13 at halftime, and took a six point advantage at 33-27 going into the final quarter. Devin Foster had five of his team-high 17 points in the final quarter and grabbed a total of 15 rebounds while sophomore Eric Mischler got going in the final frame with 10 of his 13 points coming in the fourth. Ryan Lentol added nine points and Kyle Fitzgerald scored all seven of his points in the second half. Sharon’s Ben Kaplan and Aidan each scored nine points for the Eagles.

Foxboro, 66 @ Stoughton, 77 – FinalStoughton had its been offensive performance of the season, scoring a season-high 77 points on its way to a win over visiting Foxboro. Stoughton’s four point lead after one quarter (19-15) grew to nine by half as the Knights led 45-36 at the break. Foxboro cut the deficit to four by the end of the third, 60-56, but Stoughton outscored the Warriors 17-10 in the final quarter. Stoughton junior Obinna Ugqwuakazi connected on 13 field goals for a career-high 27 points and hauled in 18 rebounds to pace the Black Knights. Senior Kevin Dixon scored 16 of his career-high 18 points in the second half and five more Stoughton players scored five or more points. Foxboro junior Will Morrison hit six three-pointers for a career-high 18 points to pace the Warriors.

Dooling hit six of his seven three-pointers after halftime, including four in the third quarter alone, and finished with a game-high 21 points. T.J. Guy scored 11 points for the Hornets, including six in the fourth quarter, and Damani Scott added nine points. Amari Brown tried to keep things close with 10 points for the Tigers, including eight in the third quarter, Sean O’Brien scored nine points and Ethan Eckstrom added eight in the loss.

North Attleboro, 53 @ Milford, 52 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Nate Goncalves (11 points) connected on a pair of free throws to put the Rocketeers up three and that ended up the difference as Big Red held on for a one-point road win at Milford. After Goncalves’ put North up 53-50, the Rocketeers got a stop but Milford senior Brendan White (10 points) converted an offensive rebound to make it a one-point game. North missed the front end of a one-and-one but Milford’s halfcourt shot at the buzzer was off the mark. The Rocketeers led 18-13 after one, and 27-24 at half but an 18-point third quarter from the Scarlet Hawks knotted things at 42-42 going into the final frame. Senior Josh Montague (10 points) had a big three in the fourth and senior Jake Petersen scored half of his eight points in the final quarter. Senior Matt Seavey added a career-high 12 points for North and junior Ethan Friberg finished with 11 points. Junior Colby Pires and sophomore Jordan Darling each added 10 points for Milford.

Girls Basketball
King Philip, 68 @ Attleboro, 54 – FinalKP had three players score in double figures to bounce back from the loss to Canton. Faye Veilleux continued her strong start to the season with a game-high 15 points, but she got plenty of help on Friday with Faith Roy scoring 13 and Julia Leroux scoring 10. Nyah Thomas hit double figures for the second straight game for Attleboro, with 14, and Dom Garnes scored 13 and pulled down 12 rebounds. Liv McCall added 10 for the Bombardiers.

Canton, 58 @ Sharon, 44 – FinalCanton caught fire from three-point range to win its fifth straight game. The Bulldogs knocked down eight threes as a team. Sydney Gallery was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Fay Gallery and Kiara Cerruti each scored 14 in the win, while Maggie Connolly scored six points, had seven rebounds and held Sharon’s top scorer Emma Eberhardt to two points in the second half. Eberhardt still managed 11 points for the Eagles, who had a lead after the first quarter. Evanjuline Elisma added seven points in the loss.

Stoughton, 29 @ Foxboro, 58 – FinalFoxboro stayed unbeaten heading into next week’s showdown with fellow division leader Franklin. Katelyn Mollica scored 23 points for the Warriors and Chelsea Gibbons added 14. Stoughton stayed with Foxboro for a half, down only 11 at the break, but the Warriors were able to build momentum and pull away. Aliyah Wright had a team-high 13 points for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 75 @ Taunton, 37 – FinalAli Brigham was dominant again for the Panthers, scoring 26 points and pulling down 17 rebounds. Bea Bondhus added 12 points for Franklin, which had 11 different players get on the score sheet.

Reigning HockomockSports.com Player of the Week Julia Feid was the game’s top scorer with 15 points and North also got 12 from Amanda Kaiser. Jillian Michelson scored a team-high 13 for Milford.

Boys Swimming
Canton, 99 @ Foxboro, 50 – FinalFoxboro’s Ben Dorman and Thomas Perry Jr. each had a win and the Warriors’ 400 relay team took first but Canton earned the win overall. Dorman won the 100 backstroke in 1:20 with Kris Andersen taking second. Perry Jr. took first in the 100 breaststroke with teammate Josh Sitte touching second. The team of Jared Roke, Anthony Amico, Jack Groves, and Joseph St. Pierre won the 400 relay in 5:17.

Canton, 97 @ Foxboro, 71 – FinalFoxboro’s Pam Nelson had a pair of individual wins, Sarah Egan won once, and the Warriors swept the 400 relay but Canton recorded the win. Nelson won the 200IM (2:32) and the 500 free (6:03), Egan touched first in the 100 backstroke (1:14), and the team of Gina Oullette, Kendall Milender, Madison Feldman, and Shannon Egan won the 400 relay in 5:01.

Foxboro, 45 @ Oliver Ames, 53 – Final Oliver Ames used a 20-point third quarter to create a double-digit deficit and then held off Foxboro in the fourth to grind out a win at home over the Warriors. After combining for just 10 first quarter points (6-4, OA lead), the Tigers took a 19-12 lead into the locker room. OA then doubled its production from the first half with 20 points in the third with senior Sean O’Brien scoring seven of his team-high 15 points in the frame. Sophomore Amari Brown and senior Ethan Eckstrom each added nine points for Oliver Ames. Foxboro junior Brandon Borde scored 13 of his team-high 15 points in the second half to help the Warriors stay within striking distance. Sophomore Kevin Gallagher added eight points for Foxboro.

Stoughton, 60 @ Franklin, 74 – FinalFranklin jumped out to a 22-8 lead after the first quarter and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way. The Panthers led 38-22 at half and 52-31 heading into the final quarter. Senior Jalen Samuels scored a team-high 16 points while junior Chris Edgehill added 13 points, all coming in the first quarters for both players. Will Harvey added eight points for the Panthers, who connected on eight three-pointers. Stoughton junior Myles Grigalunas-Powell had a team-high 14 points while senior Zak Paquette finished with nine points.

Canton, 64 @ King Philip, 63 – FinalCanton senior Ryan Lentol converted a traditional three-point play with eight seconds left to give the Bulldogs a one-point win on the road. Lentol converted his shot to tie the game and then hit the free-throw to put Canton ahead. Devin Foster scored a game-high 31 points and had 12 rebounds while Lentol finished with a career-high 16 points. Canton connected on 20 free throws. KP led by as much as 11 in the third quarter but Canton closed the game and trailed just 45-43 heading into the fourth. KP senior Sam Sesay had a career-high 17 points, Tim Nault added 13 points, and Alex Fritz finished with 11 points.

Milford, 53 @ Mansfield, 62 – FinalMilford had a three-point lead at halftime, and took a 38-36 advantage into the fourth quarter, but the Hornets poured in 26 points in the final frame to earn the win. Sophomore Matty Boen scored eight of his 11 points in the final frame, Tommy Dooling added six of his 12 points in the fourth, and Damani Scott scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half. Junior Sam Stevens had a team-high 14 points for Mansfield, who shot 27-for-36 from the free throw line. Brendan White had a team-high 17 points for the Scarlet Hawks while sophomore Danny Corsini added 10 points.

Junior Dante Law scored a team-high 21 points and a total of nine Tigers found their way onto the score sheet. Wesner Charles added 12 points and Naz Kenion finished with 11 points. Sharon’s Ben Kaplan had a team-high eight points.

Mansfield, 65 @ Milford, 22 – Final – Mansfield pulled out the big win against a hard-working Milford side thanks to balanced scoring. Ashley Santos scored 10 points for the Hornets, who also got six points apiece from four seniors: Erin Daniel, Emily Vigeant, Abby Sullivan and Alicia Hottleman.

Taunton, 43 @ Sharon, 54 – FinalEmma Eberhardt returned after missing the last game with an injury and scored 18 points to help the Eagles pick up an important win. Telishya Herbert added 10 points and Ally Brown chipped in with six to help Sharon hold off a late charge by the Tigers.

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalAmanda Lewandowski scored a pair of goals and Gianna Cameron added a goal and an assist for the unbeaten Panthers. Gabby Colace (16 saves) earned the shutout in goal.

King Philip, 96 @ Attleboro, 74 – FinalAttleboro’s Colton Parkinson was a double-winner, taking first in the 200 IM and the 500 free, and Connor Dunn took first in the 100 free but the Bombardiers lost to King Philip.

Liz Saltz won the 200 and 500 free with state qualifying times in both, Jackie Lynch-Bartek took first in the 100 breaststroke, Ella Lynch Bartek touched first in the 100 free, and Tiffany Chin earned first in the 100 backstroke. Those four swimmers teamed up to win the 200 medley relay for the Bombardiers. Brenna O’Connell joined Saltz and the Lynch-Bartek sisters to win the 200 free relay.

Attleboro, 48 @ Durfee, 44 – FinalHolding a three-point lead with just over a minute to go, Attleboro junior Tim Callahan (12 points) hit a three pointer to give the Bombardiers a bit of a cushion. The Hilltoppers got within three with just under a minute to go but Bryant Ciccio (14 points) and Mason Houle (11 points) each hit a pair of free throws down the stretch to earn the win. Attleboro held a 38-20 advantage on the boards with Lorenzo Wilson (nine rebounds) leading the way.

Foxboro, 48 vs. Bishop Feehan, 36 – FinalFoxboro overcame a five-point halftime deficit, limiting the Shamrocks to just 13 points in the entire second half. Feehan led 23-18 at the break but Foxboro put up 20 points in the third and took a 38-31 lead into the fourth quarter. Foxboro junior Brandon Borde scored 13 of his team-high 19 points in the second half while junior Will Morrison added 11 points for the Warriors.

Franklin, 73 @ Catholic Memorial, 78 – FinalFranklin led 40-39 at halftime, and took a 59-55 lead into the final frame but Catholic Memorial was able to take the lead midway through. Trailing 72-64 with three minutes to go, the Panthers got within two, and then within one when Jalen Samuels (17 points) hit a three with 9.3 seconds left. But the Knights hit two free throws and thwarted a last bid from the Panthers. Junior Chris Edgehill had a team-high 27 points for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 73 @ BC High, 51 – FinalMansfield built a 10-point lead by halftime but doubled the advantage with a big third quarter in a win over BC High. The Hornets led 35-25 at half and then outscored the Eagles 20-9 in the third to pull away. Senior Damani Scott had a team-high 18 points for Mansfield while Tommy Dooling added 17 points and junior Sam Stevens finished with 14 points.

Milford, 59 vs. Westboro, 74 – FinalMilford trailed by just four at halftime, down 36-32, but Westboro outscored the Hawks 20-10 in the third quarter to create a double digit lead that it didn’t relinquish the rest of the way. Danny Corsini poured in a career-high 26 points for the Hawks, including 16 in the second quarter. Brendon Sailer and Jordan Darling each added nine points for the Hawks.

Stoughton, 64 @ Archbishop Williams, 58 – FinalStoughton outscored the Bishops 17-8 in the second quarter to build a double-digit lead by halftime, up 30-18. The Black Knights extended the advantage to 48-32 after three quarters and then withstood a strong fourth quarter from Archies to get the win. Junior Ajahn Rue poured in a career-high 22 points to pace Stoughton.

Stoughton, 42 vs. Brockton, 65 – FinalAliyah Wright paced the Black Knights with a team-high 21 points.

Oliver Ames Quad – Foxboro went 3-0 on the day, beating BC High 41-31, Oliver Ames 41-27, and Plymouth North 57-14. Adam Lanctot, Tommy Gallagher, Mike Sheehan, and William Ogbebor all went undefeated for the Warriors.

Attleboro, 39 @ Stoughton, 44 – FinalStoughton hauled in eight of their 20 offensive rebounds in the final quarter and turned those boards into 12 points in a win over Attleboro. The Bombardiers led 34-26 after three quarters of play but the Black Knights won the fourth quarter 18-5 to earn the victory. Junior Obinna Ugwuakazi scored a career-high 16 points and hauled in 16 rebounds to lead the way for Stoughton while Eddie Aldama chipped in with 11 points. Senior Mason Houle had a game-high 17 points for Attleboro.

Franklin, 50 @ Canton, 52 – FinalWith Franklin holding a 50-49 lead, Canton senior Ryan Lentol stole an inbounds pass, kept it in bounds while finding classmate Paul Corcoran (10 points) for a baseline layup to give the Bulldogs a 51-50 lead with 5.2 left in the game. Canton forced a turnover on the ensuing inbounds and Devin Foster (20 points) hit a free throw in the final seconds to help the Bulldogs secure the win. Kyle Fitzgerald added 11 points in the win for Canton. Junior Chris Edgehill had a team-high 16 points for Franklin, Jalen Samuels added 13 points, and Will Harvey finished with 12 points.

King Philip, 46 @ Milford, 79 – FinalMilford scored 42 points in the first half and had four players finish in double digits in scoring in a victory over visiting King Philip. Brendon Sailer (18 points), Danny Corsini (15 points) and Colby Pires (13 points) all set new career highs in scoring while Brendan White had 17 points for the Hawks, which led 63-24 after three quarters. Timmy Nault and Sam Sesay (career-high) each had 10 points for King Philip while Andrew McKinney and Alex Fritz each finished with eight points.

Mansfield, 75 @ Sharon, 57 – FinalMansfield built a 219-point lead by halftime, taking a 44-25 lead into the break, and never looked back in a win over Sharon. Damani Scott scored 19 of his career-high 29 points in the first half while Tommy Dooling (six threes) scored 16 of his career-high 22 points in the opening 16 minutes to help the Hornets build the big lead. Khristian Conner chipped in with 11 points for Mansfield. Aaron Strong led Sharon with 13 points while Andrew Burton chipped in with 12 points.

Oliver Ames, 45 @ North Attleboro, 46 – Final (OT)North Attleboro closed the fourth quarter on a 7-2 run to help force overtime and then outscored the Tigers 6-5 in the extra period to get the win. A pull up jumper from Evan Rosenberg with just over 30 seconds left put North ahead 40-38 but Jake Erlich hit two free throws in the final seconds to send it to overtime. North Attleboro’s Jake Petersen scored five of his 11 points in the overtime period to lift the Rocketeers. Nate Gonsalves finished with a career-high 16 points for Big Red. Amari Brown paced Olier Ames with 13 points while Harry DeChellis finished with 10 points.

Girls Basketball
Stoughton, 51 @ Attleboro, 41 – FinalAliyah Wright was the top scorer for the Black Knights with 19 points and eight rebounds, while Sydnee Hyacinthe had 16 points and six assists, as Stoughton won its second game in a row and moved above .500 for the first time this season.

Foxboro, 78 @ Taunton, 38 – FinalFour players scored in double figures as the Warriors made it three wins out of three to start the season. Katelyn Mollica led Foxboro with 18, but the Warriors also got 16 points from Yara Fawaz and 11 each from Abby Hassman and Chelsea Gibbons.

Sharon,, 29 @ Mansfield, 47 – FinalSharon was down only six entering the final quarter but Mansfield finally broke the game open with a 14-2 fourth to pull out the win. Maggie Danehy scored 12 points and pulled down 14 boards in the win. Mansfield also got 10 points from Emily Vigeant and seven from Ashley Santos. Evanjuline Elisma paced the Eagles with nine points and Emma Eberhardt added eight.

North Attleboro, 45 @ Oliver Ames, 79 – FinalAlly Scolnick led the Tigers in scoring for the third straight game to start the season, tallying 17 points in the win. Caroline Flynn added 13 points and five assists, Tate Hadges had 12 points, and Alex Sheldon had 11 for OA. Tigers coach Laney Clement-Holbrook called it a great effort on both ends of the floor.

Gymnastics
Taunton, 129 @ Oliver Ames, 131.65 – FinalOliver Ames junior Lauren Picanzi took first in the All Around with a 35.2, including a 9.0 on both the beam and the floor. OA sophomore Ashlyn Latham placed fourth in the All Around, and tied for second with an 8.8 on floor.

Boys Swimming
Taunton, 48 vs. Coyle & Cassidy, 38 – FinalFreshman Tim Luc and eighth grader Gerald Grealish each won a pair of individual events and Taunton swept the three relays to get a win over Coyle. Luc won the 100 fly (sectional qualifying 57.96) and 100 free (53.39) while Grealish touched first in the 100 backstroke (1:05.91) and the 200 IM (2:18.44). Freshman Brady Callahan won the 200 free (2:09.00) and was second in the 100 backstroke (1:06.54). Taunton dominated all three relay events, capturing the 200 Medley and 400 Free (Callahan, Grealish, Luc, Peter Ye), as well as the 200 Free (Johnathan Trinh, Khan Orgil Enkhbileg, Garrett Rainey, Martin Dafov).

Girls Swimming
Taunton, 55 vs. Coyle & Cassidy, 33 – FinalTaunton took first and second in all but one individual event and swept all three relays in a win over Coyle. Senior Erin Schrama, senior Ashley Mitchell, and eighth grader Tiffany Ye were all double winners for Taunton. Schrama won the 200 IM (sectional qualifying 2:26.70) as well as the 100 breast (1:15.99) while Mitchell was a double winner in the distance events, tackling the 200 and 500 free events.
