#15 Stoughton, 2 @ #2 Greater New Bedford, 4 – Final – Josh Mitchell put the Black Knights ahead with an early goal off an assist from Loubensky Lucas but GNBVT rallied to take a 2-1 lead at halftime. Will Peoples drilled a shot off the crossbar and in off a pass from Noah Schulze to level the game but GNBVT regained the lead 3-2. The Black Knights pushed numbers forward and went to three in the back and the Bears found the back of the net one final time.

#3 Foxboro, 5 vs. #19 Dedham, 1 – Final – Foxboro advances to the D3 South Quarterfinals and will host #6 Rockland on Sunday, 11/8 at 3:00.

D1 South
#3 Franklin, 3 vs. #14 Walpole, 0 – Final – Victoria Stowell broke the deadlock nine minutes before halftime with an “olimpico” straight from a corner kick. Alexis Stowell and Meghan Doherty scored in the final 10 minutes to wrap up the win. Franklin advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will host #11 North Attleboro on Sunday, 11/8 at 4:00.

#12 Mansfield, 4 @ #5 Bridgewater-Raynham – Final – Jen Kemp scored a pair of goals while Jackie Carchedi had a pair of assists and also scored one goal. Katie Bongarzone also chipped in with a goal as the Hornets got the win at the road. Mansfield advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will travel to #4 Needham on Sunday, 11/8 at 2:00. The Mansfield boys will play Needham before at 12:00.

#1 Mansfield, 4 vs. #16 Duxbury, 2 – Final – Caroline Maher netted all four of the Hornets’ goals in the win over Duxbury. Mansfield advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will host #8 Wellesley on Sunday, 11/8 at 2:00.

#4 Franklin, 4 vs. #20 King Philip, 0 – Final – Kelsey McPhee opened the scoring off an assist from Annie Walsh in the 11th minute. In the 23rd minute, Cassi Ronan added a goal off an assist from Taylor Reutlinger. Diana Griffin scored an unassisted goal and assisted on a goal by Walsh in the second half. Abby Campbell made 12 saves for KP. Franklin advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will host #5 Dennis Yarmouth on Sunday, 11/8 at 1:00.

#11 Oliver Ames, 2 @ #6 Somerset Berkley, 1 – Final (OT) – Nicole Walker set up senior Missy Krim for a breakaway chance in overtime and the senior co-captain buried it to give the Tigers the win. Walker scored the go-ahead goal in the first half off an assist from Hannah Friend before Somerset Berkley leveled it in the second half. Head coach Janice Sundell said Katie Davenport, Christina Boudreau and Sarah Stevens all played well defensively. Oliver Ames advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will travel to #3 Sandwich on Sunday, 11/8 at 3:00.

#21 Attleboro, 0 @ #5 Dennis Yarmouth, 2 – Final

#23 Canton, 2 @ #7 Norwood, 1 – Final – Caroline Hagan scored once in each half as the Bulldogs scored the upset on the road at Norwood. Canton advances to the D1 South Quarterfinals and will travel to #2 Walpole on Sunday, 11/8 at 2:00.

Canton, 1 @ Milford, 3 – Final – Canton went up first but Milford scored three second half goals to get the win. Marcello Panno, Zach Browne and Matt Fornaciari scored for the Scarlet Hawks while Justin Borges had a pair of assists.

Foxboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Noah Schulze gave Stoughton the lead with a goal six minutes into the game. The lead stood until the second half when Devante Teixeira, Anthony Barreira, and Joe Morrison all scored for the Warriors.

Taunton, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – David Stowell put Franklin ahead in the first half off an assist from Wes Kozil. Brian Czuba got his first goal before the break off an assist from Cam LeBlanc. Taunton pulled within one in the second half off a free kick from Austin Botelho but Czuba added an insurance goal off an assist from Hatim Brahimi.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Mansfield’s defense set the school record with its 10th shutout this season. Michael Kirejczyk made six saves for his ninth shutout of the season, which ties a school record. Cullin Anastasia and Jack Reilly scored for the Hornets while Reilly and Brenden Sullivan each had an assist.
Girls Soccer
Canton, 4 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Riley Duserick, Hannah Link, Sarah MacQuarrie and Hayley Mulford each found the back of the net for Canton. Tessa Cudmore had a pair of assists in the win and Shannon Foley had one assist.

Stoughton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Shaina Abbott scored a pair of goals and Katherine Luciano and Riley Collins each scored once for the Warriors. Emerson Sprague scored for the Black Knights.

Mansfield, 3 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – Hana Caster scored off a corner kick from Grace Guertin with just four minutes left to life the Rocketeers. North held a 3-0 lead at the break as Guertin factored into all four goals for Big Red. Guertin was fouled in the area in the 12th minute and Shannon Kingsley buried the penalty kick. Guertin then set up Leah Jette in the 21st minute and then linked up with Kingsley in the 31st minute to build a 3-0 lead at half. Hannah Reiter scored a pair of goals in the second half for Mansfield and Katie Bongarzone scored once to tie the game at three.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Kiana Lozzi scored a pair of goals, Delaney Benton and Francesca Calabraro each netted one goal and Jackie Mills had two assists for Oliver Ames.
Volleyball
King Philip, 3 vs. Walpole, 2 – Final – King Philip dropped the first two sets but rallied back to get the win at home, 20-25, 12-25, 25-12, 25-21, 15-12. Seniors Josie Rowean and Gwen Uyrus shined on senior night with 21 and 12 kills respectively while senior Molly Citarell and Micaela Murray anchored the defense for the Warriors.
Stoughton, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – The Black Knights and Eagles played in their annual Dig for a Cure match and raised over $3,200 for cancer research according to SMAC’s Jeffrey Pickette. Stoughton picked up a 25-16, 25-19, 25-15 sweep on the road. Bridgette Whalen led the Black Knights with nine blocks, six kills, 15 digs and four aces, Bianca DeSousa had 11 digs, nine service points, five kills and four aces and Ava Siegel added 13 service points, five kills and two aces.
Field Hockey
Taunton, 2 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Caroline Lounsbury scored the game winning goal with 44 seconds left off assists from Taylor Reutlinger and Kenzi Pleshaw to lift the Panthers. Taunton held a 1-0 lead at halftime but Diana Griffin knotted the game just three minutes into the second half off assists from Cassi Ronan and Reutlinger. Annie Walsh put Franklin ahead at 2-1. Abbey Kingman scored both of Taunton’s goals.

Stoughton, 3 vs. Brockton, 1 – Final – Courtney Campbell, Mia Russell and Ashley Chipman scored for Stoughton, who qualified for the state tournament with the win.

Foxboro, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Devante Teixeira put Foxboro ahead in the first half, heading in a corner from Anthony Barreira. Thomas McCormick then scored a pair of goals, the first assisted by Chris Romero and the second from Matt Campbell to put OA ahead. Foxboro freshman Nic Biegel scored with less than five minutes left to tie the game.
King Philip 1, @ Dartmouth, 0 – Final – Joe Kellett scored in the first half as the Warriors picked up their second win over Dartmouth in an eight day span.
Volleyball
Canton, 2 vs. Notre Dame Academy, 3 – Final – Canton picked up wins in the first two games but weren’t able to hand NDA its first loss of the season. Canton won the first two games 25-21, 25-21 but then fell 16-25, 20-25, 9-15. Elizabeth Hamilton had 18 kills and 23 digs, Sarah Reissfelder had nine kills and three blocks, Olivia Devoe had 20 digs and Nicole Poole had 27 assists and 18 digs. Head coach Pat Cawley said Casey Shea, Emma Murphy and Rye Verille had their best ever blocking games.

Franklin, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Diana Griffin scored a pair of goals, Annie Walsh had a goal and an assists, Cassi Ronan scored once and Alex Sullivan added two assists in the win for the Panthers.

Sharon, 0 @ Milford, 5 – Final – Jess Palmer netted a hat trick while Shannon Cormier and Ali Atherton each scored once for the Scarlet Hawks.
Stoughton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Hannah Friend scored a hat trick and Carly Cidado also added a goal for the Tigers. Missy Krim and Nadia Eldemery each had an assist and OA head coach Janice Sundell said Sarah Stevens played well in the midfield. Cassie Gavin made five saves in net.

Canton, 1 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – Chloe Vieira scored the first goal for the Bombardiers off an assist by Breanna Eddy. Paige Medeiros scored the winner with a 20-yard free kick that went in off the post. Madison Brown made 10 saves to get the win.
King Philip, 1 @ Hopedale, 2 – Hopedale scored four minutes into the game, but 11 minutes later Rachel Hogan equalized for KP off and assist by Lauren Hehn. The hosts scored the winner with 90 seconds left. Emma Durant played well in net for the Warriors, according to head coach Gary Pichel.
Oliver Ames, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Regan Benton and Bethany Dunk split time in goal for the Tigers and Emily Gaumond picked up the clean sheet for the Hornets.
Sharon, 2 vs. Shepherd Hill Regional 2 – Final – Ally Steinberg scored a pair of goals in the final six minutes of the game to earn a draw for the Eagles. The first goal was a header off a cross by Alex Miller and the second on a low cross to the edge of the 6-yard box by Victoria Zambello with only a few minutes left in the game.
Taunton, 4 @ New Bedford, 0 – Final – Alana Vincent, Mariah O’Gara, Olivia Sweeney, and Mariah Dwyer scored the goals for the Tigers. O’Gara also added an assist as did Amanda Pugh. Kayla Wenworth made three saves for the shutout.

Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – The Bulldogs won 25-7, 25-10, 25-11. Elizabeth Hamilton led Canton with 14 kills, Olivia Devoe had 14 digs, and Cassie Loftus and Nicole Poole combined for 31 assists.
North Attleboro, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final
Franklin, 3 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Franklin was able to pick up a 25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 25-17, 15-10 win on the road. Franklin’s Beth Neal had 14 kills, 14 assists and five blocks, Aubrie Kutil added 11 kills, Dayna McCue had 29 digs and eight aces and Sam Campbell added 16 digs, three kills and an ace for the Panthers.

King Philip, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – King Philip picked a 25-13, 25-20, 25-23 sweep on the road. Micaela Murray had seven service points in the first game and finished with 10 digs, Carly Adams had nine service points in game two and Josie Rowean had 13 total kills and eight service points, including three aces, in game three.
Mansfield, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Mansfield won 25-21, 26-24, 25-18. Catherine Heavey had 30 assists and 12 service points for the Hornets. Sarah Mullahy added seven kills and Jess Haradon had five kills, nine service points, and nine digs.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Foxboro 3 – Final – Molly Manning, Lily Daly, and Meredith Cronin scored the goals for Foxboro.
Franklin, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Annie Walsh led Panthers with a goal and an assist. Cassi Ronan and Diana Griffin added the other two goals. Samantha Jones and Kate D’Entremont made one save each for the shutout.
King Philip, 1 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Olivia Schlehuber scored the goal for the Black Knights, while Caitlin Donahue had the goal for the Warriors. Abby Campbell made 12 saves for KP and Kara Ploss made seven for Stoughton.

Mansfield, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – Nicole Walker tied the game for the Tigers a minute after Mansfield took the lead. Cassie Gavin made 11 saves for OA in the loss.

Taunton, 159 @ North Attleboro, 144 – Final – North Attleboro was led by Dylan Kane with a 34. Tyler Sinacola shot a 35 for the Rocketeers, while Robbie Congdon had a 37 and Bryan Harris had a 38. Taunton was led by Justin Proto’s 36. The Tigers also got a 40 from Mike Volkmann, a 41 from Jason Stern and a 42 from Ryan Oberg.
Sharon, 165 @ Milford, 162 – Final – Ryan Tomaso shot a three under par 32 to lead the the Hawks. Sharon was led by Max Avratin and Ryan Crooks, who each shot 39s.

Foxboro, 0 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – Sophomore Grace Mayer scored in the second half to give Attleboro the win.

Canton, 1 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Freshman Annie Walsh scored her first career goal on an assist from senior Diana Griffin and sophomore Christina Quinn also scored on assists from Walsh and junior Alex Sullivan. Franklin’s defense only allowed one shot on goal and head coach Lisa Cropper said senior Taylor Reutlinger and junior Dana Lewandowski played well in midfield.

Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 9 – Final
Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final

Stoughton, 4 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Courtney Campbell scored a hat trick for the Black Knights and Ashley Chipman added one goal. Stoughton head coach Dan Mark said Angela Connolly “dominated at midfield.”

Milford, 173 @ Foxboro, 170 – Final – Matt Tierney, Tim Luciano and Blake Wasserman all shot a team-low 42 for Foxboro.
Attleboro, 182 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Mansfield junior Jason Hindman was the match medalist for the second straight time, shooting a 39. Seniors Devon Barbero and David Craig each carded a 41 for the Hornets. Keagin Larkin shot a team-low 42 for the Bombardiers.

Stoughton, 198 @ King Philip, 163 – Final – Mickey Riley, a senior for King Philip, shot a team-low 38 for the Warriors in the win.
Canton, 170 @ Sharon, 169 – Final – Sharon senior Cam Sydney had a match low 38 for the Eagles. Canton’s Griffin Jerrier shot a low score of 41 for the Bulldogs.
