Kate Collins (three goals, one assist) and Mya Waryas (one goal, three assists) each had a team-high four points for the Warriors while Paige Curran, Mary Collins, Cate Noone (assist), and Val Beigel each scored a pair for Foxboro. Audrey Campbell made nine saves in net.

Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final Mansfield won all five matches in straight sets to fend off a challenge from visiting Attleboro. Kailash Elumelai (6-0, 6-1), Neema Khosravani (6-1, 6-2), and Iniyan Karruppusami (6-0, 6-1) swept singles action while the team of senior Jonah Fine and Nikhil Nain took a 6-2, 6-2 win at first doubles and sophomore Jacob Weiner and freshman Josh Weiner secured a 6-2, 6-0 win at second doubles.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 4 – FinalA sweep of both doubles matches plus two more wins in singles action handed Attleboro a 4-1 decision over Mansfield. Seniors Tina Lam and Saharla Yusuf took a well-played first doubles match 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 while sophomores Kyra Johnson and Presley Biller continued their strong season with a 6-1, 6-3 decision at second doubles. Senior Ella Lynch-Bartek added a 6-0, 6-2 win at first singles and sophomore Maddie Fuscaldo added a 6-1, 6-1 win at second singles for the Bombardiers, who improved to 7-5 with the win. Caroline Guravage won 6-3, 6-2 at third singles for the Hornets.

Oliver Ames, 5 @ Canton, 0 – FinalPlaying against each other for the second time in as many days, Oliver Ames picked up a 5-0 decision on the road over Canton. The Tigers won all five matches in straight sets, including a hard-fought victory from Elizabeth O’Brien at third singles, 7-5, 6-3. Hannah Farber added a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles and Mia Corradini took a 6-4, 6-1 decision at second singles. OA’s first doubles tandem of Morgan Vasiliou and Caroline Peper notched a 6-0, 6-2 win while Olivia Querzoli and Marina Mierzwinski added a 6-1, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Attleboro, 90 @ King Philip, 46 – FinalAttleboro swept the 100M dash, the shot put, and the discus and then took the top two spots in four more events to finish the season at 4-0-1, clinching a share of the program’s first Kelley-Rex title. Kaiden Murray (11.2), Adrian Rivera (11.5), and Owens Raymond (11.9) swept the 100M dash, Isiah Traore, Alvin Harrison, and Isaac Pereira took the top three spots in the shot put, and Traore, Cameron Gray, and Pereira had the top three finishes in the discus. Ethan Sylvia (4:50.8) and Jack Blouin (4:54.7) went 1-2 in the 1 Mile, and then Sylvia came back to take the 2 Mile followed by teammate Lee Casstevens. Ethan Gattoni and Ryan Gleason went 1-2 in the javelin and Murray and Rivera did the same in the long jump. Adrian Rivera came back into the 400m to win the event with a 55.5 while Austin Bowie took third with a 56.1, Jordan Rivera-Silva was the winner of the 200M dash (24.5) and Jacob Blazek took second in the 400m hurdles at 63.7.

Canton, 35 @ Foxboro, 92 – FinalFor Canton, No Arugollu took first in the 400M hurdles, Sam Vail won the 2 Mile race, Graham Stemm had the top throw in the discus and the 4×100 relay team of Youssef Kosta, Christian Hanlon, Michael Sayers, Charlie McKinney clocked in first for the Bulldogs.

Taunton, 34 @ Mansfield, 97 – Final Mansfield took first in all but two events, sweeping four total and taking both relays, to take down Taunton and clinch a share of the Kelley-Rex division title along with Attleboro. The Hornets swept the 1 Mile (Riley Tremblay, Marco Geminiani, Sam Taylor), the 800M (Chris Leonard, Talon Johnson, Troy Penney), the long jump (Jake Wall, Chamberlain Guthrie Jr., Jack Reed), and the shot put (Charles Newcomb, Billy Gardner, Ayden Agbasi). Mansfield also won the 400M hurdles (Brian Higgins, 73.0), the 100M (Wall, 11.7), the 110M hurdles (Dylan Buchanan, 16.1), the triple jump (Dana Johnson, 39’11”), the high jump (Johnson, 5’10), and the discus (Newcomb, 99’8). Mansfield took both relays with the 4×100 (Myles Brown, Isaiah Kinds, Guthrie Jr., Nate Kablik) clocking in at 44.4, and the 4×400 (Evan Rawlings, Buchanan, Tremblay, Geminiani) finishing at 3:47.1.

Attleboro, 61 @ King Philip, 75 – FinalAttleboro took first in six events but fell on the road at King Philip. Isla Thompson and Madison Ellise were double-winners for the Bombardiers, with Thompson taking first in the 400M (64.5) and Ellis claiming first in the 800M (2:44.6). The two joined Alexis Cincotta and Allie McNamara to take the 4×400 relay (4:34.9). Rebecca Rainey won the 400M hurdles (73.6), Elayna Marinelli took first in the javelin (100’10”), and Emma Silva-Harrington won the discus (70’2″).

Canton, 95 @ Foxboro, 41 – FinalLed by sweeps in five events, Canton captured a win on the road over Foxboro in the final dual meet of the season. Canton took the top three spots in the 100M (Talya DeGraw, Kiley Hanlon, Maggie Thibotout), the 1 Mile (Kiara Cerruti, Emily Kelley, Sarah Dempster), the 100M hurdles (atie Oliver, Ella Lewis, Jayda Proffit), the shot put (Emma Massih, Fatima Sidibay, Joemaelle Celestine), and the long jump (Talya DeGraw, Katie Oliver, Ella Lewis).

Stoughton, 2 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final (8 Inn.)Attleboro senior Evan Houle drew a one-out, bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth to bring in Christian Dame for the winning run against Stoughton. Dame got the inning started with a leadoff single, and after an intentional walk, Nate George singled to load the bases, setting up Houle’s walk-off walk. Stoughton took the lead in the top of the first after Brad Franey singled, took second on a sac bunt from Jonah Ly, advanced to third on a single from Anthony Tilton, and scored on a wild pitch. Attleboro answered with two runs in the bottom of the first, both with two outs. Owen Taber scored on a wild pitch, and then Dame (triple) scored on a single from Matt Harvie. Stoughton tied the game in the top of the fourth on an RBI single from James Price (to score Sean Farley, who walked). Parker Sackett allowed four hits in seven innings of work, striking out three. Tyler Dunlea earned the win with a 1-2-3 eighth inning, striking out one. Jonah Ly allowed two runs (none earned) on six hits and three walks in six innings of work, striking out three.

King Philip, 17 @ Canton, 0 – FinalKing Philip pushed across six runs in each of the first two innings and sophomore Taylor Regan tossed a one-hit shutout as the Warriors rolled to a big win on the road. Regan allowed just one hit (a single in the fourth inning) and one walk (in the fifth) while striking out 10 in five innings of work for the win. Offensively, senior Lauren Hooper went 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored to pace the KP offense. Maddie Paschke added three hits while Charlotte Raymond drove in three runs in the win.

Franklin, 13 vs. Norwell, 12 – FinalFranklin grabbed the lead in the second half and then held off a late surge to hand Norwell its first loss of the season. Knotted at 7-7 at halftime, the Panthers won the third quarter 5-2 to take a three-goal lead into the final quarter. Junior Luke Davis scored all five of the third quarter goals and finished with a team-high six goals along with one assist to lead the offensive charge. Jayden Consigli added a hat trick and one helper while Tyler Sacchetti had two goals and three assists. Junior Ben Harvey and sophomore Drew Hansen each scored once in the first half while sophomore Eddie O’Brien and junior Ravin Chaudhury had third quarter assists.

The Hornets received wins from Evan Rawlings (400M, 59.6), Nate Kablik (100M, 11.4), Dylan Buchanan (110M hurdles, 15.4), Ty Duffin (javelin, 127’6), Ayden Agbasi (shot put, 39’7.5), Talon Johnson (800M), Chris Leonard (1 Mile, 10:32), Charles Newcomb (discus, 90’7), and a tie between Myles Brown and Chamberlain Guthrie Jr. in the 200M (23.8). Brown and Buchanan teamed up with Isaiah Kinds and Nolan Clarke to won the 4x100M in 46.4.

Jack Muir had a pair of hits, including a double, and paced the offense with five RBI for the Tigers. Nathanial Lewis (two RBI) and Jack Richardson (two runs) each added two hits in the win. Lucas Riley (2IP, 2K) and Patrick Finnerty (1IP, 1K) combined to close out the game for OA. Matt Chafin (triple, RBI, stolen base), Hayden Rose (three RBI), and Andy Butler (two stolen bases) each had a pair of hits for Canton.

Franklin, 3 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final Franklin took two wins in singles play plus one more in doubles to take down the Rocketeers. Chloe Essam earned a win at second singles (4-6, 1-2/inj.), Sarah Schiavo added a 6-3, 6-0 victory at third singles, and the first doubles tandem of Amulya Jayam and Shriya Rasish emerged with a 7-5, 6-3 win. North Attleboro’s Lauren Hunt won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles while Ashlyn Cziria and Teresa Fan prevailed with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win at second doubles.

Attleboro, 103 @ Franklin, 33 – FinalCashel Stuger, Ethan Syliva, Adrian Rivera each had a pair of individual wins as Attleboro ran away with a big win over Franklin. Stuger was first in both the long jump (19’4″) and the 110M hurdles (16.4), Sylvia won both the 1 Mile (4:51) and the 2 Mile (10:45.5) races, and Rivera took the top spot in the 100M dash (11.4) and the triple jump (38’2.5″). Other winners for the Bombardiers included Damon Dugan (high jump, 5’6″), Chris Leonardo (shot put, 42’1″), Ethan Gattoni (javelin, 156’8″), Isaiah Traore (discus, 109′), Jacob Blazek (400M hurdles, 1:03.3), Zyeem Charles (200M, 23.3), and Jack Blouin (800M, 2:12.4). Attleboro’s 4×100 relay (Adrian Rivera, Zyeem Charles, Jordan Rivera-Silva, Cashel Stuger) also took first in 46.5 seconds.

Milford, 45 @ Mansfield, 87 – FinalMansfield’s Chamberlain Guthrie Jr. won a pair of individual races and anchored the Hornets’ 4x100M relay team to a first place finish in a win over visiting Milford. Guthrie Jr. won both the long jump (20’0″) and the 200M (23.4), and teamed up with Myles Brown, Isaiah Kind, and Dylan Buchanan to win the 4×100 relay in 45.5 seconds. Brown, a freshman, continued the strong start to his career with another win the 100M (11.5) while sophomore Ty Duffin had a big improvement in his first-place javelin throw, winning at 118’4″. Buchanan added a win in the 110M hurdles (15.3), Evan Rawlings won the high jump (5’3″), Dana Johnson took first in the triple jump (38’5″), and Charles Newcomb won the discus (104’1″). Mansfield’s 4×400 relay (Tommy Giudicianni, Talon Johnson, Marco Geminiani, Evan Rawlings) took first in 3:44.

Alfred Mucciarone gave up one hit over four innings and Ethan Voellemicke struck out the side in the fifth, as Franklin shut out Attleboro for its second win in as many days. Chris Goode and Evan Raider each drove in a pair of runs for the Panthers. Attleboro’s best chance came in the first Nate George drew a leadoff walk and two batters later Danny Johnson hit a sinking liner to right, but Eisig Chin made a stellar diving catch. Franklin took control in the bottom half with four runs. Ryan Gerety led off with a single and Jack Marino was hit by a pitch. Attleboro failed to handle a pair of bunts and both runners came in to score. Chin drove in a run with a single and would eventually come around to score on a wild pitch. Franklin added three more in the second. One-out walks to Joe Tirrell and Gerety and an infield single for Marino loaded the bases. Goode plated one with a sac fly and Raider followed with a single to bring in two. In the third, Franklin took advantage of a couple errors to add three more runs. Ben Jarosz singled and would score on a wild pitch, Henry DiGiorgio reached on a fielder’s choice and scored on an error, and Tirrell walked and came in to score on a sac fly from Goode. Hayden Hagerty broke up Mucciarone’s no-hitter to start the fourth but Franklin’s starter retired the next three hitters to strand the runner in scoring position.

Canton, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalChloe Guerschuny drove in three runs, including the game-winner in the top of the seventh to help the Bulldogs complete a comeback win. OA scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the third, including an RBI single from Katie Melendy, and two more in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run from Katherine Farley and an RBI single from Caitlin Miller. Canton responded with three runs in the top of the fifth, including a two-run base hit from Guerschuny.

Franklin, 5 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalFranklin scored once in each of the first three innings and tacked on two key insurance runs in the top of the sixth to get the win on the road over Attleboro. Julia White had a one-out single in the top of the first and came around to score after a fielder’s choice and an error to put the Panthers ahead 1-0 but Attleboro answered with a run of its own to make it 1-1. Junior Hailey Fales had a one-out single in the top of the season, and courtesy runner Kelly Moussa scored after White grounded out to second with the bases loaded for a 2-1 lead. Georgia Harvey turned a leadoff single in the top of the third into a run to make it 3-1 before Attleboro made it a one-run game with sac fly in the bottom half. Reece Allen and Moussa came around to score in the top of the fifth for insurance. Aislinn Lavery got the win for Franklin, allowing two runs (one earned) with six strikeouts and no walks. Lindsey Perry was strong in the circle for Attleboro in a complete game effort, with just earned runs allowed with two strikeouts and two walks.

Foxboro, 13 @ Stoughton, 14 – FinalA back-and-forth offensive slugfest ended with Stoughton jumping ahead in the bottom of the six and then getting a scoreless top of the seventh to get the win. Sydney Menz led the Black Knights’ offense with a pair of home runs, including a two-run bomb in the sixth that plated the tying and go-ahead runs for Stoughton, plus a triple and four RBI total. Melody Casna added a double and two RBI while Leila Alaoui and Camryn Whitman each had a pair of hits, and Kerry Driscoll and Kate Bulger each had an RBI double. Driscoll got the win in the circle while Casna, Menz, and Maddie Hinds all turned in solid defensive performances for the Black Knights.

Vayshnav Malhotra and Thomas Broyles both won 6-0, 6-0 at first and second singles, respectively, while Drew Mahoney earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at third singles. The team of Tim O’Keefe and Ahan Shetty battled for a 7-5, 6-4 win at first doubles while Sameen Shaik and Jay Gorgas took a 6-0, 6-2 decision at second doubles.

Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 5 – FinalIt was a clean sweep for Mansfield, taking all five matches in straight sets. Neema Khosravani, Kailash Elumelai, Iniyan Karruppusami were the Hornets’ three victorious singles players, freshman Josh Weiner and sophomore Jacob Weiner won at first doubles, and sophomores Sirius Li and Nikhil Nain won at second doubles.

Canton, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – FinalCanton’s second doubles team of Kevin Moltenbrey and Max LaRose emerged victorious in a three-set thriller to clinch the win for the Bulldogs. Moltenbrey and LaRose split the first two sets before getting the win 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. The Bulldogs also got wins at first singles from Max Kupferman and at second singles from Suraj Ramanathan. OA senior Raphael Vache earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at third singles while the first doubles team of freshmen Alex Efremidas and Patrick Dolan grabbed a 6-3, 6-4 win.

Taunton, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – FinalKing Philip swept doubles action and got another pair of wins from singles play to defend home court against Taunton. The first doubles team of Diego Nieto and Noah Ihley rallied from a one-set deficit to win 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 while the tandem of Leo Manning and Arjun Kollu secured a 6-1, 6-1 win at second doubles for KP. Jonathan Cohen added a 6-2, 6-2 win at second singles and Jackson Hom didn’t drop a set in a 6-0, 6-0 third singles victory. Taunton’s Michael Kimmer won 6-3, 6-1 at first singles.

Foxboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 2 – FinalA singles sweep propelled Foxboro to a second straight win to open the season, this time on the road at Stoughton. Garrett Spillane battled to a 7-6, 6-0 win at first singles, Bo Canfield fought for a 7-5, 6-2 win at second singles and Raj Jetty had a strong showing in a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles. Jake Berry and Joe Mark won 6-2, 7-6 at first doubles for the Black Knights while Stoughton’s second doubles team of Paul Medeiros and Aadil Khond grabbed a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Mansfield, 4 @ Milford, 1 – FinalThe Hornets got a pair of wins in both singles and doubles action to record a win on the road over Milford. Kate Martin won her first singles match 6-1, 6-3 while Aadi Semeer earned a 7-5, 6-3 win at second singles. Mansfield’s first doubles team of Alexis Joyce and Clair Copp battled to a 6-3, 6-0 win while Jillian Hanley and Savannah Carey notched a 6-2, 6-2 second doubles win. The team of Lauren Casper and Resha Ajoy prevailed 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 at first doubles while Caroline Freese and Carly Burns rallied for a 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) win at second doubles for KP. Ahunna James and Shea Mellman each lost just one set in identical 6-0, 6-1 wins at first and second singles, respectively, and Sammie Taylor added a 7-5, 6-1 win at third singles for the Warriors.

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 5 – FinalFoxboro defended home court with a five match sweet of visiting Stoughton, taking all five in straight sets. Athena Li didn’t drop a set in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles, Hailey Kornbluth secured a 6-1, 6-1 win at third singles and Makayla Peck earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at third singles. The team of Abigail Costa and Juliana Preston lost just one set on their way to a 6-0, 6-1 first doubles win, and Foxboro’s second doubles team of Emily Stow and Sydney Lebow emerged with a 6-4, 6-3 win.

Stoughton, 97 @ Canton, 39 – FinalKyle Downing won a pair of events and Canton won the 4×100 relay, but Stoughton secured the win on the road to open the season. Downing won both the 1 Mile (11:12.1) and the 2 Mile (5:13.1) for the Bulldogs, and the team of Youssef Kosta, Christian Hanlon, Andres Castro Alvarez, and Favor Ugah took first in the 4×100 in 48.5. Other winners for Canton were Sean Sullivan (discus) and Graham Stemm (javelin).

Franklin, 50 @ Mansfield, 77 – FinalAnchored by double-winners Dana Johnson, Dylan Buchanan, and Charles Newcomb, Mansfield opened the season with a win over Franklin. Johnson won both the long jump (19’7.5”) and the triple jump (41’3”), and added second place finish in the 110M hurdles (16.5). Buchanan won the 110M hurdles in 15.5 and won the javelin with a toss of 112’8, and Newcomb won both the shot put (40’6) and the discus (89’0). Other winners for Mansfield included Evan Rawlings (400M hurdles, 58.3), Myles Brown (100M, 11.4), Chris Leonard (1 Mile, 4:49.9), and Chamberlain Guthrie Jr. (200M, 24.4).

Taunton, 50 @ Attleboro, 84 – FinalAttleboro swept four events on its way to a season-opening win over visiting Taunton. Rebecca Rainey and Jahela Douglas each won a pair of events, with Rainey taking first in the 400M hurdles (1:18.8) and the high jump (4-6), as well as a third place finish in the 200M (29.1). Douglas was the winner in the 100M (13.2) and the triple jump (31-5.5) and added a second place leap of 14-10 in the long jump. Other winners for Attleboro included Emilia Smith (1 Mile, 5:48.0), Elayna Marinelli (javelin, 98-1), Diana McArthur (discus, 72-2) and the 4×100 team of Jadyn Hoyt, Mabel Sandoval, Erimar Torres, and Kylee Browning.

Stoughton, 80 @ Canton, 56 – FinalCanton’s Kylie Hanlon added her name to the school record book but the Bulldogs fell at home to Stoughton. Hanlon tied the school record in the 100M, taking first in 12.4. Kiara Cerruti won the 1 Mile and was second in the 800M, and the team of Gabby Herivaux, Talya DeGraw, Katie Oliver, Syriah McCruse was first in the 4×100 in 52.3.

If Taunton had won, the Tigers would have clinched a three-way share with the Bombardiers and Mansfield. Attleboro earned a sweep in the long jump, led by Adrian Rivera’s leap of 19-01.50 followed by Kaidan Murray and Cashel Stuger. Stuger anchored the sweep of the 55M hurdles, taking first in 8.41 followed by Murray and Peter DelPozzo. Attleboro also got wins from Jacob Blazek (600M, 1:31.4), Damon Dugan (high jump, 5-08.00), and Chris Leonardo (shot put, 42-11.75). Dmitrius Shearrion (55M, 6.92), Conal Scully (300M, 37.49), Ryan Strawbridge (1000M, 2:43.49), Andrew Cali (1 Mile, 4:50.84), and Brayden Cali (10:24.23) all won for Taunton.

Shultz was the winner in the 55M dash (6.80) and then anchored a sweep of the high jump (5-10.00) followed by Nathan MacDonald and Aaron Levesque. Levesque took first in the long jump, followed by MacDonald and Kyle Conroy for another sweep, and Brodie Clemente, Joseph Beckett, and Mark Etienvre swept the shot put in North’s win. North also got wins from Michael Simonian (300M, 39.29), Evan Tino (600M, 1:34.99), and Connor Peterson (1 Mile, 4:52.31). Sharon’s Karthik Pisupati won the 1000M, Adam Lessard was first in the 2 Mile race, and Alexander Gong took first in the 55M hurdles (8.51).

Canton, 32 @ Stoughton, 63 – FinalStoughton swept the 600M and the shot put, adding first place finishes in six more events and one relay in its win over Canton. Jett Tran-Burger was first in the 600M followed by Alex Huynh Joao Marotti whie Zachary Roos took first in the shot put followed by teammates Thomas Laz and Shawn Fargher. Jalen Castillo was a triple winner for the Knights, taking first in the 55M, the 300M, and the long jump while other winners for Stoughton included Thomas Brennan (1000M), Rinoldi Lauradin (high jump), and Hunter Tran (55m hurdles). Kyle Downing won the 2 Mile in 10:44.58 for Canton while Sam Vail set a new PR in the 1 Mile, taking first in 5:09.26.

Foxboro, 20 @ Oliver Ames, 72 – FinalOliver Ames won 11 of the 12 events, including both relays, on its way to completing a perfect 5-0 dual meet season to clinch the Davenport division title. Fabrice Fouron was the big winner for the Tigers, taking three first-place finishes to lead the way. Fouron won the high jump (5-02.00), the long jump (19-01.50), and the 55M hurdles (8.90) to register 15 points on his own. OA also picked up wins from Ashton Hart (55M, 6.95), Joshua Tocci (300M, 39.31), Wyatt Fritchman (1000M, 2:55.46), Ryan Sarney (1 Mile, 4:33.01), Alexander Pierce (2 Mile, 10:24.90), and Brayden Burton (shot put, 35-07.00). Foxboro’s Jared Ciora took first place in the 600M with a time of 1:35.12.

Mansfield, 65 @ Franklin, 31 – FinalMansfield took first place in seven events plus swept both relays to grab a win over Franklin. Jake Wall was a double-winner, taking first in both the 55M (6.79) and the long jump (21-06.25) while the Hornets also got wins from Riley Tremblay (1000M, 2:50.19), Chris Leonard (1 Mile, 4:39.97), Collin Stevens (2 Mile, 10:30.17), Evan Rawlings (high jump, 5-02.00), and Dylan Buchanan (55M hurdles, 8.54). Luke Sidwell (300M, 37.70), Tyler Powderly (300M, 1:28.58), and Emmett Lackey (shot put, 40-08.75) had wins for Franklin.

Milford, 39 @ King Philip, 60 – FinalAnchored by a sweep in the long jump and five more first place finishes, King Philip secured a win over Milford. Degen Granese anchored the sweep, taking first in the long jump followed by Luca Giardini and Turag Ikbal. Granese added a win in the high jump, Giardini took first in the 600M, Nathan Gebhard won the 300M, Noah Hurd was first in the 1000M, and Nathan Sylven won the 2 Mile race. Milford got wins from Patrick Delaney (55M), James Comisky (1 Mile), Marco Monteiro (shot put) and Samuel Borst (55M hurdles).

North Attleboro, 53 @ Sharon, 46 – FinalNorth Attleboro swept both the high jump and the shot put and recorded points in every individual event to land a close win over Sharon. Caroline Folan won the high jump followed by Sydney O’Connor and Meagan Dowd while Marissa Robinson took first in the shot put and was followed by Sienna Newth and Noemie Eugene. Dowd also took first in the 300M while Katie Galgoczy won the 2 Mile race. Sharon’s Simeone Dunbar won three events (55M, long jump, 55M hurdles) while Samantha Connors (600M), Sierra Robison (1000M), and Daphne Theiler (1 Mile) each finished first for the Eagles.

Canton, 30 @ Stoughton, 69 – FinalStoughton’s Shayla Ford was a triple winner and Elaine McCarty won two individual events to help the Black Knights take down Canton. Ford was first in the 55M (7.85), the 300M (46.84), and the long jump (15-03.00) while McCarty won the 1000M (3:30.67) and the 1 Mile (6:23.15). Also winning for Stoughton were Julie Richardson (600M, 1:49.32), Alexis Mederios (2 Mile, 14:19.71), and Annalisa Marckmann (shot put, 29-05.00). Canton earned wins from Katie Oliver (55M hurdles, 10.70) and Ella Lewis (high jump, 4-06.00). Lewis was also third in the long jump and second in the 55M hurdles while Oliver had a second place finish in the 55M dash.

Foxboro, 29 @ Oliver Ames, 69 – FinalOliver Ames had two of the top three finishes in eight of the 10 individual events and split the relays to secure a big win over Foxboro, completing a perfect 5-0 dual meet season to grab the Davenport division title. Johanna Holmes, Julia Maclaine, and Amelia Andre each took home a pair of wins for the Tigers, Holmes taking first in both the 600M (1:45.64) and the 1000M (3:17.05), Maclaine winning the 300M (45.66) and the high jump (4-08.00), and Andre taking the 55M (7.99) and the long jump (14-08.00). Taegen Hodges (1 Mile, 5:40.92), Katie Sobieraj (2 Mile, 11:34.83), Emily Meyers (shot put, 23-00.50), and Tatum Fritchman (55M hurdles, 10.95) also won for OA.

Mansfield, 53 @ Franklin, 47 – FinalMansfield took points from each individual event, getting two of the top three spots in five events to just edge out Franklin and finish the season at 5-0 for the Kelley-Rex division title. The Hornets got key points with a 1-2 finish in the 55M dash (Chloe Guthrie, Abigail Scott), the 1000M (Katherine Miller, Meghan Johnston), the 1 Mile (Norah Puleo, Alanna Conley) and the long jump (Anna Buckley, Elsie Roberts) plus first and third in the 55M hurdles (Buckley, Julia Pike). Mansfield also got key wins in the 600M (Caitlin Dumouchel) and the 2 Mile (Anna Moore). Franklin picked up wins from Sophia Cuneo (300M, 1:48.13), Abigail Griffith (high jump, 5-00.00), and Darby Nicholson (shot put, 30-08.50).

Milford, 68 @ King Philip, 29 – FinalKiyanni Simas won three individual events and Sydney Kalil won two more to help the Scarlet Hawks land a win over King Philip. Simas took first in the 55M dash, the long jump (a Scarlet Hawk sweep), and the 55M hurdles while Kalil was the winner in both the 1 Mile and 2 Mile races. Milford also got a win from Tatiana Chaplin in the 1000M. KP’s Grace Lawler (300M), Leah Vigevani (600M), and Ahunna James (shot put) had first place finishes.

Attleboro, 53 @ Taunton, 47 – FinalAttleboro took first place in six individual events and finished second in three of them for key points in a close win over Taunton. The Bombarders went first and second in the high jump (Rebecca Rainey, Madison Ellis), the long jump (Jahela Douglas, Aariana Ridge), and the shot put (Madison Morgan, Elayna Marinelli). Attleboro also had first place finishes in the 55M dash (Douglas), the 1 Mile (Emelia Smith), and the 55M hurdles (Angela Cooney(. Taunton got wins from Nia Mainer-Smith (300M), Phylicia Dias (600M), Kiley Quinlan (1000M), and Emersyn DePonte (2 Mile).

Attleboro, 85 @ Mansfield, 66 – FinalMansfield’s Rico Palanza and Xavier Gwynne each won an event, took second in another, and were apart of two winning relay teams. Palanza won the 50 free and took second in the 100 free while Gwynne was first in the 200 medley and second in the 100 backstroke. Senior Kevin McCarthy added a second place finish in the 200 free and a PR time for second in the 100 free while classmate Ryan Morley swam a pair of personal bests in the 100 breaststroke (third place) and the 500 free. Palanza, Gwynne, McCarthy and Morley teamed up to win the 200 medley relay, and the team of McCarthy, Neil Dalpe, Gwynne, and Palanza won the 200 free relay.

Attleboro, 90 @ Mansfield, 61 – FinalAttleboro freshman Zuri Ferguson broke her third school record so far this season and qualified for states in a pair of events to help the Bombardiers take down Mansfield. After setting new marks in the 100 backstroke and 500 free earlier this year, Ferguson set a new record of 59.56 in the 100 butterfly, beating the record time of 1:01.2. Ferguson also won the 200 IM and was apart of the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays. Ferguson was joined by Natalia Kotnisz, Caroline Lynch-Bartek, and Ella Lynch-Bartek on the 400 free, which qualified for states. Caroline Lynch-Bartek added wins in the 200 and 500 free on top of the two relay wins. For Mansfield, Sofia Seifert set a new personal best and qualified for sectionals in a first place finish in the 50 free and also took first in the 100 breaststroke with another PR.

#39 Malden, 0 @ #26 Franklin, 5 – FinalFranklin matched its best scoring output of the season in its playoff opener, rolling to a big win over visiting Malden. Senior Tyler Powderly finished off a pass from classmate Jack Moran to give the Panthers an early lead and Franklin never looked back. Sophomore Rex Cinelli scored back-to-back goals, his first two goals of the season on assists from junior Max Tobin (to make it 2-0) and from senior Kevin Proenca (to make it 3-0). Sophomore Sean O’Leary (from junior Will Krysak) scored to make it 4-0 while Jacob Crisileo (from Connor Brown) capped the goals with a late strike. Franklin will travel to #7 Framingham to take on the Flyers on Saturday at 6:00 at Bowditch Field.

#34 Attleboro, 2 @ #31 New Bedford, 1 – Final (PKs)Sophomore Tyler Rocchio denied the Whalers’ on their fourth attempt to secure a win on the road for Attleboro, a 4-2 edge in penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw in regulation. Sophomore Alex Vecchioli scored just three minutes into the second half, finishing off a pass from Billy Badger. In penalty kicks, Vecchioli, Esvin Morales, Cashel Stuger, and Kyle Neuendorf all scored to help the Bombardiers book a trip to the next round. Attleboro will travel to #2 Needham on Saturday at 2:00.

Division 2
#33 North Attleboro, 0 @ #32 Dartmouth, 1 – Final (PKs)North Attleboro battled through regulation, overtime, penalty kicks, and into one extra round of penalties before falling to Dartmouth in a closely contested game. The Rocketeers saw its first five players convert from the spot but Dartmouth did as well, and it was the hosts who scored in the first additional round to get the win.

Marblehead took advantage of a slip at the back and a loose ball in the box to score once in each half and then held on to grab the road win. Michael Caridi’s long throw went off the fingers of the keeper in the 67th minute, cutting the lead to just one and setting up a an exciting finish. Mansfield had its chances throughout the match. After falling behind in the eighth minute, Matt Hyland nearly got onto the end of a pass from Andrew Bain but the keeper was out quick to smother and Daniel Checkoway had a shot that was cleared off the line. At the half-hour mark, the Hornets had a flurry of chances that started with a long throw on the far sideline. Hyland flicked on Dylan Buchanan’s throw forcing a great diving save. Off the corner, Ian Leeds drew another great save and Nate Kablik’s rebound effort was blocked on its way to goal. Checkoway then headed the ball towards goal and off the knee of a defender, sending it just over the bar. Hyland blazed over from inside the box and Connor Palinski shot wide after being played in behind the right back. Jack Lasbury-Casey made a big save on a breakaway in the final minutes to give Mansfield one last chance.










Girls Soccer
Division 1

#38 Springfield Central, 1 @ #27 Attleboro, 3 – Final – The Bombardiers scored the first three goals of the match to seal a preliminary round win and advance in the state tournament. Jamie Davies scored the opening goal just four minutes in, assisted by Emily Khang, and then added her second of the day in the final minute of the first half. Bethany Alves assisted the second goal. Davies recorded her third point of the day when she set up Kahlan Gray for a third goal five minutes into the second half. Head coach Steve Santos praised his team’s energy from the opening whistle and said it was a “Great team victory!”

#37 Somerville, 0 @ #28 North Attleboro, 3 – FinalSteph McKenna scored a second half brace to lead the Rocketeers to a win in the Div. 2 preliminary round. After a scoreless first half, McKenna found the back of the net in the 45th minute, assisted by Charlotte Moynihan, and then doubled the lead seven minutes later, this time off a pass from Lily Adams. Emma Pratt closed out the scoring just before the half-hour mark, with Moynihan recording her second helper of the game. Brayden Rice had solid delivery from corner kicks that led to several second half chances. Caroline Ferrin, Brooke Sullivan, Haley Sinacola, Autumn Hewitt, and Summer Doherty dominated the midfield and defensive third for North, holding Somerville to only two shots. Maddie Ferrin earned her sixth clean sheet of the season.

Division 1

#29 Beverly, 0 @ #4 Franklin, 6 – FinalAfter a scoreless first quarter, Franklin scored three goals in just over a span of four minutes and the Panthers never looked back from there in a win over Beverly. Junior Payten Crandall broke through just over a minute into the second quarter and junior Kaitlyn Carney scored twice within a three-minute span to make it 3-0 at halftime. Kaeley Dubriske (from Kaitlyn Carney) had the lone goal of the third quarter while Shaw Downing (from Crandall) and Emily Carney had fourth quarter goals. Megan Sullivan made three saves to earn the shutout. Franklin will host the winner of the #13 Central Catholic/#20 Attleboro game on Tuesday with a time to be determined.

Syd Gallery had a great match for the Bulldogs with 10 kills, three blocks, and an ace while Jess Wright added 12 kills, a pair of blocks, and 10 digs. Anna Verille was amazing defensively with 18 digs along with four kills and two aces, and Taylor Reynolds added 33 assists, a pair of aces and six digs. “It was a great comeback match by the entire team!” said Canton head coach Pat Cawley.

The lone goal of the game came in the 9th minute of the game when Danny Rowe finished off a flicked on header by Liam Anastasia. Michael Caridi had the throw-in to get the sequence started. Caridi, Dylan Buchanan, Kevin McCarthy, and Ian Leeds played well defensively in front of Jack Lasbury-Casey, who made nine saves for his eighth shutout of the year.

Milford, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalMilford junior Arthur Tome bagged a first half brace as the Scarlet Hawks claimed sole possession of the Kelley-Rex division title with a win over Taunton. Eduardo Santana earned a penalty kick and Tome buried it, and then Santana got an assist to set up Tome for a 2-0 led. Chris Tocci added to the lead with a goal in the second half, finishing off a feed from Nick Ribeiro.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – FinalOliver Ames finally solved the puzzle that was the North Attleboro defense, scoring the lone goal of the game with less than five minutes left to play. The Rocketeers denied the Tigers throughout the game with a defensive-minded approach but OA freshman Casey Milliken finished off a pass from Antonio Fernandes to help the hosts earn two points in OA’s season finale. North Attleboro will finish its regular season on Saturday against Attleboro in the annual Leach & Garner Cup.

With the point, the Bombardiers clinched a return to the postseason for the first time since 2014. Kara Santos opened the scoring, finishing a corner kick from Tarynn Smith midway through the first half. About 11 minutes later, Attleboro equalized to seal a critical point.

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalAfter a scoreless first half, Franklin finally broke through a stingy King Philip defense just over a minute into the second half and added a late insurance goal to get the win. The Panthers clinched the Kelley-Rex division title outright with the victory at home. Freshman Raena Crandall scored an unassisted goal 68 seconds into the third quarter while freshman Haley Wernig doubled the lead with less than five minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Sophia Cuneo, Emily Carney, Kaeley Dubriske all played well for the Panthers. KP sophomore Kelly Holmes had an outstanding game, nearly scoring on a pair of occasions. Seniors Margo Riley, Haley Izydorczak, and Lily Brown also played well for the Warriors while junior Haley Bright recorded 10 saves.

Taunton, 2 @ Milford, 0 – FinalTaunton scored once in each half to grab a win on the road over Milford, sweeping the season series with the Hawks. Junior Caelyn O’Leary put the visitors out in front off an assist from senior Kylie Thorpe and the Tigers took that 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Ashley Amaro scored an unassisted goal in the second half to double Taunton’s lead while Em Gannon recorded the shutout in net for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalWhile it looked like Attleboro was going to make the playoffs based on their latest ranking, the Bombardiers made sure they were headed to the postseason for the first time since 2008 by scoring an upset over Mansfield, 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-11, 25-23). Attleboro earned its ninth win of the season, securing a .500 record which is an automatic qualifier for the playoffs.In the win, Natalie Brojek dished out 29 assists and had a strong showing at the service line with nine aces. It was another great team effort for the Bulldogs, led by Amaiah Christian with three kills, two blocks, two digs, and an ace. Jess Vo played great defense in her first varsity start while Zoe Scibelli also had a great defensive match.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames entered Thursday’s match already having earned no less than a share of the Davenport division title, but the Tigers didn’t want to share. OA won the title outright for the first time with a 3-0 sweep (25-20, 25-15, 25-18) of North Attleboro, avenging a loss to the Rocketeers from earlier this season. Sophomore Sarah Hilliard put down 18 kills and added 16 digs in the win, senior Hadley Rhodes recorded 26 assists, senior Kelli Crowley added four blocks, and senior Amanda Barth chipped in with seven aces.

King Philip, 4 @ Foxboro, 5 – FinalFoxboro scored three goals in the opening 20 minutes but had to hold off a furious second half rally from the visitors to get the two points. Junior Alex Penders opened the scoring in the first minute off a cross from Matt Angelini, and Foxboro newcomer Jorge Sanchez made it 2-0 in the third minute. Angelini scored on his own in the 20th minute before sophomore John Hollis pushed the lead to 4-0 less than five minutes into the second half. KP scored back-to-back goals but Cam Barreira scored what turned out to be the game-winner int he 65th minute. KP scored twice in the final 10 minutes to make it a one-goal game.

Mansfield, 1 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalJunior Connor Palinski’s looping shot from just over 30 yards out was the difference as Mansfield secured a win on the road in the season opener. Palinski took a pass from Ian Leeds and launched one from distance that found the back post. Mansfield head coach Steve Sheridan praised his defensive unit of Leeds, Dylan Buchanan, Michael Caridi and Kevin McCarthy for their stellar play in front of Jack Lasbury-Casey (seven saves).

Taunton, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalItching to get on the field for the first time in nearly a year, Taunton exploded for five goals in a win on the road at Stoughton. The Tigers struck for a pair of first half goals before pumping in three more after the break, Devin Poe opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Conal Scully doubled the lead in the 31st minute. Riley Rebello made it 3-0 with a 49th minute strike, Scully bagged his second just two minutes later, and Quincy Jones-Sylvia capped the scoring in the 71st minute.

Canton, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalAnya Zub scored a pair of goals to lift Franklin to a win in a battle of last year’s league champs and give interim coach Jodi Klein a debut win. Riley Fitzpatrick opened the scoring for the Panthers, finishing off a pass from freshman Kelly O’Connor. Zub then doubled the lead after combining with Fitzpatrick and sealed the two points with her second goal with just five minutes to play. Izzy Arnold had the assist on Franklin’s third. Rachel Welch made nine saves to preserve the clean sheet. Klein praised the effort of defender Norah Anderson and midfielders Stella Regan, Bridget Leo, and Selene Hammad.

Foxboro, 0 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalKP scored once in each half to pick up two points in the season opener. Sophomore Heidi Lawrence notched her first career goal when she took a nice pass from classmate Alyssa Legere and managed to squeeze a shot through a scrum in the box. Ella Pisani sealed the victory by firing a second-half free kick into the top corner for her first of the season. Lauren Casper stopped eight Foxboro shots to earn the clean sheet. KP coach Gary Pichel also praised freshman Dani Lomuscio, who made her varsity debut by marking reigning MVP Kailee McCabe. He also credited Legere for a great game in the midfield and the back line for doing its best to frustrate the Warriors attack.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalCarly Devine was first to a rebound three minutes before halftime and scored the only goal of the game to lift the Hornets to a season-opening win. Olivia Homsi had the first shot and Devine reacted first to knock in the loose ball. Mansfield coach Kevin Smith praised the play of his back line, Gabby Smith, Kara Santos, Anna Darlington, and Kayla Doherty, for limiting North’s chances. Olivia Salisbury made four saves to record the clean sheet. North nearly had the equalizer on a shot from Steph McKenna but a Hornet defender made the goal line clearance. Haley Sinacola, Lily Adams and Charlotte Moynihan all played well defensively for North.

Stoughton, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalStoughton coach Hermes Lima picked up his first win with the Black Knights thanks to goals from freshmen Makenzie O’Connor and Lauren Mitchell. Lima praised O’Connor and Shayla Ford for their aggressive play up top that made it difficult for Taunton to get out of the defensive third easily. Mitchell and classmate Morgan Cook both played well in the midfield, while freshman Emma Tran had a great varsity debut in central defense. Abigail Durand earned the shutout in goal.
