Junior Erin Cottam led the charge for the Tigers, scoring four goals and assisting on OA’s other two, which were both scored by Kayla Kenney. Julia Maclaine registered two assists and Megan Crabtree had one in the win. For Attleboro, Nora Desrosiers and Siobhan Landers each scored once with Marley Young assisting on both.

Foxboro, 2 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalKing Philip twice erased a one-goal deficit in the third quarter to earn a 2-2 draw against visiting Foxboro. After a scoreless first quarter, the visitors took the lead when Cam Collins took a pass from Val Beigel and found the back of the net with less than a minute to go in the first half. King Philip came back to tie it on a goal from Leah Santoro to make it 1-1, but Foxboro got its second of the game off the stick of Jenny Gallagher with 2:17 left in the third. Before the buzzer, the hosts pulled level yet again as Mara Boldy found the back of the net to make it 2-2. Charlotte Raymond, who also had an assist, and Abby MacDonald had strong performances while Haley Bright made seven saves in net for KP.

Sharon, 0 @ Franklin, 12 – FinalFranklin senior Shaw Downing scored four goals in the first quarter and finished with five overall and one assist as the Panthers rolled to a big win at home. Sydney Rogan added two goals, Ella Aldred, Kaitlyn Carney (four assists), and Sophia Cuneo each scored once, and both Chloe Essam and Maeve Rolston netted their first career goals.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalTaunton and Mansfield battled back-and-forth for 60 minutes but ended in a stalemate as both teams earned one point from the draw. For Taunton, Jasmine Lucier made four saves in net to record the shutout while the defense of Thal Nogueira, Bridget MacDougall and Sydney Moreton, along with Kaysie DeMoura in midfield, played well for the Tigers.

North Attleboro, 9 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalKatherine Giroux, Carly Sanda, and Sophia Tombros all played well for the Black Knights.

Canton, 6 @ Milford, 1 – FinalCanton went on the road and earned their fifth straight win to open the season, this time a 6-1 decision over the Scarlet Hawks. Izzy Digirolamo had a huge day offensively for the Bulldogs with four goals. Milford senior goalie Stella Portes made 24 saves in net.








Volleyball
Canton, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalThe Bulldogs bounced back from a one-set deficit to win three in a row and grab a 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22) win on the road at Milford. Jess Wright was everywhere for the Dogs, finishing with 21 kills, 10 digs, and an ace. Fatima Sidibay was a force at the net with seven kills and four blocks while Zoe Scibelli was a calming force on defense with 12 digs and three aces.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter dropping the first set by double digits, Attleboro stormed back to win three straight and secure a 3-1 win (12-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17) over visiting Oliver Ames. The Bombardiers picked up key contributions from Sadie Whitmarsh, who notched 15 digs, and Addie Shelton, who added seven kills in the win. Natalie Brojek dished out 25 assists and Julia Leonardo did it all for the Bombardiers with 20 digs and 18 kills. For Oliver Ames, senior Mary Derba had eight kills, sophomore Clare Kavoulis added 33 assists and three aces, Maddie Homer had 23 digs and 28 serve receptions, Sarah Hilliard added 14 kills, and Addyson Smock finished with seven kills and three assists.

Boys Cross Country
Mansfield, 19 @ Canton, 41 – Final Mansfield swept the top three spots to earn a win on the road over Canton at Pequitiside Farm. Junior Talon Johnson was first overall followed by senior John Sylvian and junior Sam Taylor. Canton junior Sam Vail clocked in a personal best 19:26 as the Bulldogs’ top finisher, while sophomore Max Mateo also had a strong showing for the hosts.

Franklin, 39 @ Taunton, 17 – FinalTaunton swept the top three spots to clinch a win at home over visiting Franklin. Sam Denis crossed the finish line first while Brayden Cali and Andrew Cali took second and third place, respectively, for the Tigers.

Girls Cross Country
Mansfield, 15 @ Canton, 48 – FinalMansfield had the top five runners to earn a sweep on the road at Pequitiside Farm against Canton. Junior Anna Moore won the race, followed by senior Alexis DiVasta, sophomore Sierra Wojick, senior Devin Anderson, and freshman Alex Petrova to round out the top five. Johanna Bouwmeester was Canton’s top runner while freshman Honesty Johnson had a big personal best and finished fourth for the Bulldogs.

Foxboro, 43 @ Oliver Ames, 17 – Final

Sharon, 27 @ Stoughton, 32 – FinalStoughton took second, third, and fourth but a first place from Sharon’s Sara Lessard and six straight finishers from fifth on helped the Eagles clinch the win. Stoughton’s Lilly Branco was second overall followed by teammates Elaine McCarty and Julie Richardson.

Attleboro, 39 @ Milford, 19 – Final

Franklin, 19 @ Taunton, 42 – FinalTaking four of the top five spots, Franklin ran away with a big win on the road at Taunton. Junior Alex Batla won the race in 21:21 with sophomore Fiona Morrison just three seconds back at 21:24 to take second. After Taunton’s Colby Dunham (21:27) took third, Franklin senior Ashley Tighe was fourth (21:34) and sophomore Abby Baker (22:29) was fifth. Senior Artemisia Saparoff rounded out Franklin’s scoring by taking seventh (22:57). Taunton’s Emersyn DePonte was sixth overall at 22:54.




Golf
Stoughton, 168 @ Milford, 154 – FinalMilford junior Anthony LaPierre had one of his best rounds of the season, firing a one-under par round to lead the Scarlet Hawks past Stoughton. LaPierre carded a one-under round of 34 to earn medalist honors at Hopedale Country Club. Jacob Hipolito added a 39 and Nate Lawrence chipped in with a 40 for the hosts. For Stoughton, David Monaghan shot a 39 and Mason Page finished with a 42.

Sharon, 192 @ Foxboro, 166 – FinalFoxboro’s Patrick Callahan carded six pars and one birdie on his way to a medalist round in the Warriors’ win over Sharon. Callahan finished with a 37 on the front nine at Foxboro Country Club to lead the way for the hosts. Reese Curreri (three pars, one birdie) added a 41, Zac Georgantas (five pars) finished with a 42, and Louis Carangelo (two pars) came in with a 46. James Spoto shot a team-low round of 43 for the Eagles.

Canton, 172 @ Mansfield, 168 – FinalSophomore Will Riley proved to be a vital addition to the Hornets’ lineup on Tuesday, shooting a medalist round to lead Mansfield past division rival Canton. Riley, who was added to the starting lineup late in the day, was a co-medalist along with Canton’s Huck McCready as both sophomores fired a 40 on the day at Norton Country Club. Junior Jason Friedman added a 42 for the Hornets while junior Cody Nieratko and sophomore Brendan Vokey each shot a 43. For Canton, Joey Ryan chipped in with a 41, Brian Middleton added a 44, and Teddy Shuman carded a 47.

Oliver Ames, 163 @ Taunton, 183 – FinalOliver Ames returned home from Segregansett Country Club with a non-league win over Taunton in a crossover clash. Senior Michael McGinnis and junior Sean Kearns shared medalist honors in the win after both finished the day with a 40. Senior Daniel Paul and junior David Rodgers rounded out the scoring for OA with at 42. Sean Murphy had a team-low round of 44 for the Tigers while Noah Faidell added a 45.

Franklin, 159 vs. St. John’s Shrewsbury, 152 – FinalFranklin came up just short in a non-league challenge against visiting St. John’s. CJ Steel and Caden Sullivan each shot a 39 for the Panthers.

Taunton, 1 @ Sharon, 5 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Sharon senior Brandon Mauricio bagged a brace and the Eagles exploded for four second half goals to start the season with a 5-1 decision over visiting Taunton. Just when it looked like the teams were destined to head into the break scoreless, Sharon senior Tyler Goodman won an aerial duel and freshman Vlad Shkolnikov played a terrific ball forward to Mauricio, who cut the ball back onto his right foot and deposited his shot far post for a 1-0 lead just before the halftime whistle. The second half started with fireworks as the teams combined for three goals in the opening 10 minutes. Senior Adam Eastman delivered a free kick into the area from just over midfield that saw classmate Rhys Davis rise up and meet with his head and play it to the far post. Rishi Shetty was first to it, sending it back across the face of goal where Mauricio was there to bang it home from close range. Taunton responded in quick fashion as senior Riley Rebello ran into a loose ball behind the defense and squared up a pass to Javonte Fernandes, who showed great patience to touch past the keeper and finish from in close. But just moments later, the Eagles were back ahead by two. Eastman played a perfectly paced through ball to Shetty, who made a diagonal run past the defense and calmly finished past the keeper. Miguel Vasconcelos added a fourth for the Eagles on a pass from sophomore James Jennings, and Eastman was credited for the fifth goal as his corner was knocked in for an own goal.

Girls Soccer
Sharon, 5 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalFive different players scored for the Eagles in a season-opening road win. Sofia Goclowski, Carly Pinnix, Autumn Simon, Maya Sajeev, and Olivia Landstein each found the back of the net for Sharon. Jessica Li had a pair of assists on her Sharon debut and Nasiba Aikulova also dished out a pair of helpers. Emily Calderon had the line goal for the Tigers.








Field Hockey
Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalMansfield senior Lily Danehy turned away a dozen shots for the shutout and the Hornets scored the lone goal of the game midway through the second quarter to open the season with a close 1-0 decision over Attleboro. Junior Liv Barry scored the game-winner with 6:19 left in the second quarter, finishing off an assist from sophomore Ella Palanza. Danehy turned away 12 saves, including four in the fourth quarter during an Attleboro offensive flurry to preserve the shutout and the win.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Franklin, 7 – FinalFranklin opened its season with a solid win over OA. Kaitlyn Carney scored three times and finished with four points and Emily Carney added four assists to power the Panthers to the win. Kaitlyn scored off an Emily assist to open the scoring and then added a second from a Sophia Cuneo assist to make it 2-0 after one quarter. Cuneo got her first goal off an Emily Carney assist in the second. Raena Crandall added a goal before halftime, assisted by Kaitlyn Carney. In the third, Emily Carney assisted on goals by Haley Wernig and Kaitlyn Carney. Sydney Rogan added an unassisted goal in the fourth to wrap up the scoring. Devon Barry made one save in the first half for the Panthers.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 9 – FinalFive different Warriors found the back of the net and seven players registered a point in a season-opening win over visiting Stoughton. Junior Kelly Holmes led the charge offensively for the hosts, netting a pair of goals along with a pair of assists while classmate Mara Boldy scored a hat trick. Junior Nikki McDonald chipped in with two goals and an assist, sophomore Abby MacDonald registered one point and one assist, and senior Sydney Maryland notched her first career goal. Haley Bright had the shutout in net for KP. Stoughton senior Katherine Giroux had a strong game and played with high energy while freshman Casey Groppi played hard defensively the entire game for the Black Knights in her varsity debut.

Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 3 – FinalMilford emerged victorious on a closely contested first set and went on to take the next two to complete the sweep, 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-21). For Foxboro, Shannon McElhinney had a terrific game defensively with 19 digs and three aces.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip opened its 2022 campaign with a 3-0 sweep, taking down visiting Stoughton (25-12, 25-11, 25-11). The Warriors used a balanced attack with senior Ahunna James notching a team-high eight kills, senior Sami Shore adding four kills, four aces, and two blocks, and senior Olivia O’Neil chipped in with four kills. Senior Emily Sawyer had a big day from the service line with seven aces and added a pair of kills at the net.

Sharon, 1 @ Taunton, 3 – FinalTaunton bounced back from a close loss in the first set to win three in a row and improve to 2-0 on the season with a sweep of Sharon (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-22). Hayley Krockta landed 11 kills and Sayla DePina added six kills to pace the Taunton offense. The Tigers had another big day from the service line, dropping 23 aces just one game after landing 18 against New Bedford in the opening. Anna Abouzied accounted for nearly a third of them with seven, adding 14 assists as well. Defensively, Mia Fernandes had 11 digs and Megan Rose added six digs.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalMansfield kept the game alive with a win in the third set and nearly pushed the match to five but Attleboro closed it out in a thrilling fourth game to take a 3-1 decision in the first contest held inside the new Attleboro High School gym (25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 28-26). Sophomore Julia Leonardo picked up where she left off a season ago, landing a team-high 16 kills to pace the offense. Junior Natalie Brojek added 17 assists and sophomore Julia Modelo landed six aces in the win.

Canton, 3 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalCanton edged out North in a closely contested second set and went on to complete the sweep in the next set to open the season with a win (25-18, 28-26, 25-19). Junior Jess Wright led the way offensively for the Dogs with 11 kills, eight digs, and a pair of aces while Sally Hoban had a great varsity debut with eight kills and an ace. Zoe Scibelli ran the show defensively with 14 digs and one kill while Kaitlin Brigham had a great blocking performance in the win.

Boys Cross Country
Canton, 37 @ Nauset, 20 – FinalLuke Darling was Canton’s top runner down the Cape, finishing in second with a time of 20:48.

Girls Cross Country
Canton, 34 @ Nauset, 21 – FinalThe top runner for the Bulldogs was Tahlia Weaver, who finished in third place and set a personal best with a time of 25:57.




Golf
Mansfield, 165 vs. Xaverian, 148 – FinalMansfield dropped its first match of the season in a non-league contest against visiting Xaverian. Nathan McClean, Cody Nieratko, and Hayden O’Connor each shot a 41 for the Hornets while Drew Urban rounded out the scoring with a 42.

Sharon, 182 @ Stoughton, 186 – FinalJames Spoto and Dylan Cummings each fired a round of 44 to help Sharon secure a close win over division foe Stoughton at Easton Country Club. Stoughton’s Mason Page was the match medalist with a low round of 42 but the Eagles earned the close win. Reid Nierman added a 46 for Sharon while both Patrick Dykeman and Jacob Kaufman shot 48 to round out the scoring for the Eagles.

Franklin, 144 @ Milford, 148 – FinalFranklin pulled out another tight win early on this season, this time besting Milford by four strokes. It’s the Panthers’ third win in four matches winning by five or fewer strokes. Jack Hagerty had another big performance for the Panthers, earning match medalist honors with a low round of 34 at Hopedale Country Club. Tyler O’Brien added a 35, Brendan Collins came in at 36, and Cam Labrie chipped in with a 39. For Milford, Nate Lawrence fired a round of 36, Jacob Hipolito and Anthony LaPierre each shot a 37, and Eric Farrell finished with a 38 on the day.

Attleboro, 177 @ Taunton, 188 – FinalLeo Lombardo continued his strong start to the season, earning match medalist honors and helping Attleboro claim a win over Taunton at Segregansett Country Club. Lombardo fired a low round of 42 to lead the way for the Bombardiers, Carter Shelton added a 44, Bradley Martin finished with a 45 and Ryan Hill rounded out the scoring with a 46. Dwayne Burgo had a team-low round of 45 for the Tigers, Logan Letourneau added a 46, Alex Dias chipped in with a 48, and Jesse Chaves capped the scoring with a 49.

Canton, 179 @ Foxboro, 176 – FinalFoxboro came away with a huge division win, taking down Canton and handing the Bulldogs their first division loss since October 2018, snapping a 35-match Davenport winning streak. Patrick Callahan had a team-low round of 40 for the Warriors, Mat Sullivan chipped in with a 44, and both Reese Curreri and Josh Connolly shot 46 on the way for Foxboro. Canton’s Huck McCready earned match medalist honors after firing a 39 on the day.

Boys Soccer
Franklin, 1 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalEsvin Morales set up the tying goal and scored the game-winner just minutes later as the Bombardiers rallied to take a win over Franklin. With the win, Attleboro moves into a first place tie in the Kelley-Rex division with Mansfield. Franklin opened the scoring just before the half hour mark. Tyler Powderly used his speed to get down the right wing and play in a cross. The initial ball was cleared but only as far as junior Max Tobin, who one-timed it into the top corner to put the visitors ahead. Attleboro’s best chance of the first half came in the 17th minute when senior Yianni Skordas forced a turnover and pushed forward, centering to Morales. Morales cut back to evade a defender and the keeper but his shot on goal was denied by Franklin senior midfielder Terry O’Neill. In the second half, Cashel Stuger played the ball to Morales, who turned and played a ball over the top of the defense and sophomore Alex Vecchioli finished the half volley from a step inside the area to bring the hosts level. Four minutes later, after Franklin was whistled for a handball, Morales stepped over the ball and placed a shot on frame while the Panthers were setting up the wall and it just beat the diving keeper for the game-winner.

Milford, 2 vs. Hopedale, 0 – FinalMilford scored a pair of second half goals to earn a win over local rival Hopedale. John Borges had two assists for the Scarlet Hawks, setting up both goals. First, Borges found Eduardo Santana to put the hosts in front and then Borges assisted on a goal from Chris Tocci.

Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalSenior Riley Fitzpatrick scored a pair of goals to lead the Panthers to a win at home over the visiting Bombardiers. Fitzpatrick had a beautiful header off a free kick from Norah Anderson and scored her other goal off a pass from Anya Zub. Zub had two assists in the win, setting up senior Stella Regan for the other Franklin goal.

Foxboro, 1 vs. Bishop Feehan, 1 – Final

Sharon, 4 @ Milford, 5 – FinalDani Atherton had a hat trick and an assist to lead Milford to a wild win over Sharon. It was Milford’s second win in the past three days. Paige Caldon added her second goal in as many games and Cailyn Paccico had one for the Hawks. The Eagles got two goals apiece from Wendy Wooden and Carly Pinnix. Olivia Soby had two assists and Sofia Goclowski had one for Sharon and Amber Marcus-Blank played well defensively.

Attleboro, 5 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalMadison Ellis scored a hat trick to pace the Bombardiers to a big win on the road over Mansfield. Attleboro recevied a great defensive effort from Trinity Harrison and the Bombardiers transitioned from defense to offense smoothly due to the strong play of Jordan Croteau. Olivia Hillman had a strong game on the right side for the visitors and scored once.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 1 – FinalCanton’s Ellie Bohane scored late in the fourth quarter to give the Bulldogs a win over Foxboro, stretching their unbeaten streak to eight. Bohane converted a pass from Sierra Abbott for the lone goal of the game while Carolyn Durand made key saves down the stretch to preserve the shutout.

Julia Kelly had a big game with 11 kills, five aces, and a pair of digs, Nicole Santos added seven aces and four kills, Lexie Scibilia chipped in with three kills, three blocks, and a pair of aces, and Christina Lydon and Izzy Flint combined for 21 assists. For Attleboro, Julia Leonardo recorded eight kills while Brianna Frissora had a great game at the net.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final Canton bounced back from a tough five-set loss to Westwood with a clean 3-0 sweep (25-8, 25-17, 25-22) over visiting Foxboro. Jess Wright continued to lead the offense for the Bulldogs with 12 kills and added eight digs. Sami Shore, Ahunna James, and Emily Sawyer all played well at the net for KP in the comeback win while Samantha Asprelli and Gianna DeLorenzo anchored the back row in the win. Sofia Riedel had a big day at the service line for KP with 11 service points and three aces. For Franklin, Brigid Earley (two blocks) and Taylor Lacerda (22 digs) each had 14 kills while Lindsey Tarantola added nine kills and eight blocks.

Milford, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalIn an incredibly close match, Milford prevailed with a 3-2 win (27-25, 25-22, 18-25, 22-25, 15-11). For Taunton, Hayley Krockta and Mikayla Cleary each had 11 kills while Anna Abouzeid dished out 28 assists.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalIn a match tighter than the final score shows, North Attleboro secured an important 3-0 win (25-22, 26-24, 25-20) win over Oliver Ames. For the Tigers, junior Maddie Homer recorded 25 digs, senior Hadley Rhodes dished out 26 assists to go along with five kills, sophomore Sarah Hilliard added 14 kills and 10 digs, and sophomore Claire O’Rourke chipped in with eight kills and three aces.

Foxboro, 157 @ Oliver Ames, 152 – FinalOliver Ames earned its 10th win of the season by taking down Foxboro in a close match at Pine Oaks. Senior captain Jake Kaplan shot a medalist round of 35 to lead the way for the Tigers. Junior Michael McGinnis and sophomore Aden Ashley each shot a 39 to count for the scoring for the first time in their careers. Sophomore Lucas Riley and junior Daniel Paul both added a 40 in the win.

Sharon, 171 @ Canton, 147 – FinalSophomore Mekhala Costello capped a tremendous week with another medalist round, this time a one-over par round of 35 to lead the Bulldogs to a big win at home over Sharon. The win clinches at least a share of the Davenport division title for Canton. Mike Loenetti added a 36 in the win, Conor Hunter chipped in with a 37, and Will Gefteas finished with a 39 for Canton. Eric Carter led the way for Sharon with a round of 41, Owen Kevorkian added a 42, and Nathan Daley, Noah Glassman, and James Spoto all shot a 44 for the Eagles.

Jake McCabe scored the opening goal (from Erik Valdovinos) and the final goal while Jacob Crugnale added one in-between. Giovanni Ruggeri earned the shutout in net for Canton.

Milford, 0 @ Taunton, 6 – FinalTaunton built a three-goal lead over the first three quarters and then put the game away with three more in the fourth quarter. Kylie Thorpe and Jasmine Lucier each scored a pair of goals for the Tigers while Ashley Amaro and Kaysie DeMoura each found the back of the net once. Braeley MacDonald and Sarah Clark each added an assist in the win while Em Gannon posted the shutout in net.

Canton, 2 @ Westwood, 3 – FinalIn a match that went down to the wire, Westwood prevailed with a 16-14 win in the final set to secure a 3-2 victory. Jess Wright led the offense with 15 kills and 18 digs, Talya DeGraw added 10 kills and 21 digs while Taylor Reynolds had a strong all-around showing with 35 assists, 15 digs, and two aces.

Attleboro, 167 @ Taunton, 179 – FinalLeo Lombardo and Brendan Raymond shared match medalist honors, leading the Bombardiers to a win on the road over Taunton. Both Lombardo and Raymond finished at 38 for the day while Parker Sackett shot a 44 and Matt Harbour finished at 47 for the day. Taunton’s Jack Gobin and Alex Dias each shot 44, Sean Murphy added a 45, and Loran Corcoran came in with a 46.

King Philip, 166 @ Mansfield, 158 – FinalMansfield picked up its biggest win of the season, knocking off previously undefeated King Philip to keep its division title hopes alive. Four seniors scored in the win with Cian Goulet firing a team-low round of 37. Hunter Tang added a 39 in the win while both Ryan Doherty and Jordan Tavares came in at 41.

Oliver Ames, 159 @ Canton, 142 – FinalCanton head coach Mike Barucci earned his 100th career win and the Bulldogs inched close to another division title with a win against visiting Oliver Ames. Sophomore Mekhala Costello fired an impressive two-under par round of 32 to earn match medalist honors in the win. Mike Leonetti added a 36 in the win while both Will Gefteas and Conor Hunter came into the clubhouse at 37 on the day. Sophomore Sean Kearns led the way for OA with a 37, Daniel Paul added a 40, and both Jo Jo Gaultier and Jake Kaplan shot a 41.

Foxboro, 167 @ Sharon, 160 – FinalNathan Daley fired a bogey-free round on his way to match medalist honors and the Eagles took down Foxboro at The Cape Club of Sharon. Daley finished with a two-under round of 34, Eric Carter chipped in with a 39, Owen Kevorkian finished at 43, and both Rosie Leonard and James Spoto shot a 44. Jack Watts led the way for the Warriors with a 40, Louie Carangelo added a 41, and Reese Curreri added a 42 for Foxboro.

Stoughton, 185 @ Milford, 169 – Final Milford split its tri-match, falling to Hopedale but taking a win over Stoughton. Anthony LaPierre and Nate Lawrence each shot a 41 to lead the way for the Hawks. Anthony Hern had the low score with a round of 40 for Stoughton.

King Philip, 4 @ Milford, 2 – FinalElla Pisani’s hat trick helped the Warriors rally from a one-goal deficit and pull out the road win. Pisani scored once in each of the last three quarters, with Ava Tormey, Charlotte Majer, and Paige Varvarigos recording the assists. She also assisted on Majer’s second quarter goal, as KP came back from a 1-0 deficit at the first break. Dani Atherton scored both goals for the Hawks, putting Milford ahead in the first and adding one in the third quarter that kept it a one-goal game heading to the final 20 minutes, before Pisani’s third of the day sealed the points for the visitors. Catherine Madden and Brooke Ferreira had the assists for Milford and head coach Lou Colabello said that Brianna Franzini played well in the loss.

Foxboro, 5 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalFreshman Valerie Beigel and sophomore Dylan Rappoli each scored twice as the Warriors went on the road and earned a win over Stoughton. Freshman Mary Collins also scored in the Warriors’ win while Haley Nelson found the back of the net for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 6 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalFranklin scored all six goals in the second half, including four in the fourth quarter, to pull away from Taunton. The teams battled through a scoreless first half before the Panthers broke through just over a minute into the third. Amanda Lewandowski opened the scoring with an unassisted strike, adding two more in the fourth quarter for a hat trick. Kaitlyn Carney scored to make it 2-0 in the third quarter and Stephanie Bell tacked on two fourth quarter goals. Natalie Blasie had a standout play defensively, preserving the shutout for Franklin.

King Philip, 8 @ Milford, 2 – FinalKing Philip senior Grace Crocker led all scorers with her first hat trick with three different players setting her up for assists in a win over Milford. Isabell Crocker, Emma Naggar, and Charlotte Raymond each recorded an assist to Crocker while Paige Berdos added a pair of goals for KP. Kelly Holmes, Margo Riley, and Abby Nixon each found the back of the net once while senior Maddie Paradis picked up her second straight win in goal.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalOliver Ames scored twice in the first quarter and that held up the rest of the way as the Tigers picked up a win on the road. Haley Gilman (from Maggie Woods) opened the scoring just over five minutes in and freshman Erin Cottam (from Lily Gaskill) doubled the lead with just under three minutes left in the opening quarter. Haley Gilman and Ava Costello had strong performances for OA.

Mansfield, 145 @ Attleboro, 168 – FinalMansfield earned a win on the road at Stone-E-Lea to stay unbeaten in division action, setting up a two-match showdown against Franklin for next week. Ryan Dow led the way for the Hornets (8-0 in Kelley-Rex), firing a match-medalist round of 35. Nate Morreale and Joe Gormley each chipped in with a pair 36’s while Ryan Doherty carded a 38 in the win.

Oliver Ames, 169 @ Sharon, 175 – FinalOliver Ames senior Kosta Spiliakos earned match medalist honors, lead the Tigers to a close win on the road over Sharon. Spiliakos shot a match-low round of 39 while classmate Logan Domenico added a 41 in the win. Junior Jake Kaplan added a round of 44 and freshman Sean Kearns added a 45 for OA. Sharon’s Nathan Daley had a team low score of 40, Eric Carter added a 44, James Spoto chipped in with a 45, and Noah Glassman finished with a 46.
