Stoughton, 12 @ Attleboro, 4 – Final (5.5 inn.) – Stoughton’s offense came to life, plating nine runs in the first five innings and tacking on three more in the top of the sixth before the game was called due to the weather. Ryan Sullivan went 2-4 with two RBI and two runs, Joe Piana went 2-4 with two runs and three RBI, Pat Hagerty contributed a clutch 2-out two RBI single, scored a run, and stole a base, Jack Connelly had a stolen base as well, with two walks and two runs scored and Luke Johnson scored three runs and had a double and RBI. Shortstop Doug Seaman played well defensively, overcoming the elements to record five assists and a put out with no errors. Nico Parmeggiani got the win on the mound, going five innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on just three hits with three strikeouts.

Franklin, 0 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Kevin Powers got the win on the mound for the Bulldogs, going the distance by tossing a complete game, giving up six hits while striking out three and issuing just one walk. Powers helped his cause at the plate, going 2-4 at the plate with an RBI. Jim Jenkins was 2-3, Mike McMahon was 1-3 with the run scored in a stolen base and junior Kevin Monagle had two hits for Canton.

Mansfield, 5 @ Foxboro, 6 – Final – Aaron Wentling earned the win, pitching six innings and senior Nick Wright came in to pitch the seventh inning for the save. Both AJ Bubencik and Jesse Galanti had two RBI singles for the Warriors.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – With the game knotted 2-2, the Warriors plated three runs in the fifth inning to break open the game. Jake Cavanagh threw a complete game for the Warriors, scattering eight hits and striking out six. King Philip’s defense played error free and the offense belted out nine hits. Jon Rolfe went 3-3 on the day with an RBI while Jake Lannigan and Jack DiCenso each knocked in a pair of runs for the Warriors. Ryan Adams and Matt Mancini each had two hits for the Tigers.

Milford, 0 @ Taunton, 3 – Final (5 inn.) – In a rain shortened game, the Tigers took advantage in the first and fourth innings to get the win. Sophomore Christian Simoes smacked a two run double in the first inning, scoring Matt Machado and Max Bowden. Senior Kevin Griffin added an RBI single in the fourth, knocking in sophomore Joe Manchester (hit, stolen base). Senior Luke Figueira improved to 5-0 on the season, throwing five innings, striking out six with just two hits allowed.

Sharon, 7 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final (6 inn.) – Sharon took advantage of a five-run second inning to get the win in a rain shortened game. Mark Botaish reached base four times, going 2-2 with a double, Aiden Arnold had a three-run double and Spencer Singer went 2-3. Andrew Filipkowski gave up two hits in 2 2/3 innings in relief for save. North Attleboro’s John Brennan had a double and a home run, knocking in four runs for the Rocketeers.

Softball
Attleboro, 6 @ Stoughton, 7 – Final – Stoughton scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the win, which was capped by Shannon Flaherty’s walk-off single to right. Flaherty also picked up the win in the circle after pitching a scoreless seventh in relief of Gina Carafa, who had allowed three earned runs in six innings.Jordan Lyons went 2-4 for the Black Knights and scored a pair of runs. Carafa, Courtney Campbell, and Bri Ferrandiz each went 2-3 for Stoughton.

Franklin, 14 @ Canton, 2 – Final Franklin broke the game open with an eight run third inning, tacking on five more in the final two innings after scoring one in the opening game. Alexx Niss went 3-4 with two RBI, a triple, and three runs scored, Olivia DiGiacomo went 4-5 and knocked in four runs and Olivia Haba, Julia Arms and Alyssa DaSilva combined for five RBI. Courtesy runner Kerry Blaney scored three runs for the Panthers. Emily Sawyer tossed a complete game, striking out four to earn the win.

Mansfield, 8 @ Foxboro, 5 – Final – It was a game to remember for freshmen twin sisters Mady and Kara Bendanillo. Mady went 4-4 at the play with two runs knocked in and Kara added three hits, knocking in two more runs. Liz Mackin also knocked in a pair of runs on two hits and Rachel Carafa had one RBI and two hits. Megan Letendre, Maddie Letendre, Marissa Staffier and Jocelyn Reardon all had a hit each for the Hornets, who totaled 16 hits. Maddie Letendre got the win for Mansfield, surrendering five hits while striking out 13.

King Philip, 10 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames freshmen Kayla Georgeu kept King Philip’s high powered offense in check through five innings but the Warriors exploded for eight runs in the the sixth inning. Christa Wagner had three hits while Meghan Gorman, Sydney Phillips and Elise Pereira each had a double in the sixth inning. Kali Magane struck out 11 to earn the win. Jamie Gottwald, Victoria Ziner, Caroline Mahoney (double), Missy Krim and Emma Papargiris each had a hit for Oliver Ames.

Taunton @ Milford – Postponed to TBD

North Attleboro, 10 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Amelia Murphy threw her first career perfect game and helped her own cause offensively, scoring three runs. Kristina Murphy paced the Rocketeers’ offense, going 3-4 with a home run and five RBI. Jordan Sharpe had three hits, Gina Miceli and Liz Morehouse each had two hits and Mycala Moody had eight assists defensively.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 2 @ Foxboro, 12 – Final

Canton, 9 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Canton jumped out to an 8-0 lead on its way to a win over the Tigers. Head coach Bill Bendell said Chris Albert and Dylan Cunningham both played well in the cage and added seniors Dan Nadeau and Ben Berkowitz stood out on defense.

North Attleboro, 6 @ Franklin, 11 – Final – Franklin held a two goal lead at halftime (5-3) and went on to score six second half goals. Eric Civetti had five goals and an assist and Austin Kent Scored twice with one assist. Justin O’Callahan pitched in with three assists and freshman Jacob Alexander won 17/21 faceoffs.

King Philip, 5 @ Mansfield, 8 – Final – Mansfield goalie Sean Powers was strong in the cage, helping the Hornets edge the Warriors. Hunter Ferreria and Ryan Smith each scored twice for Mansfield while Cullen Murphy, Connor Finerty and Sam O’Connell each scored once. Both Grant and O’Connell also had an assist for the Hornets, who led 4-3 at halftime. King Philip’s Tim Watson scored twice and had one assist while Harry Fallon, Sam Agricola and Anthony Truini each scored once for the Warriors.

Sharon, 21 @ Milford, 3 – Final

Girls Lacrosse
Foxboro, 18 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final

Oliver Ames, 6 @ Canton, 12 – Final – Mary Nee led the Bulldogs, scoring twice and adding one assist in the win. For Oliver Ames, Sofia Masciarelli and Hannah Friend each scored twice while Carly Cidado and Erin Fitzgerald scored once.

Franklin, 13 @ North Attleboro, 9 – Final – Franklin freshman Annie Walsh paced the offense with four goals while Julia Jette had two goals and two assists and Caroline Lounsbury scored once and had one assist. Head coach Kristin Igoe said Dana Lewandowski played well on defense with two draws and two ground balls.

Baseball
Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 5 – Final – Attleboro starting pitching Nolan Kane was superb in six innings of work, allowing just one unearned run. Kane struck out four and allowed just three hits to get the win. At the plate, Dakota Kirby was 3-3 with a big two RBI double in the sixth inning and Nate Tellier had a pair of hits, scored one run and had a stolen base. Attleboro head coach Matt Bosh noted that Brandon Galvao played excellent defense at first base. Matt Callahan came in and pitched a 1-2-3 seventh inning for the Bombardiers.

Canton, 2 @ Stoughton, 13 – Final – Ryan Sullivan did it all for the Black Knights, picking up the win on the mound and helping his cause at the plate. Sullivan tossed five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and a pair of walks while striking out four. At the plate, he scored three runs and knocked in a pair of runs. Luke Johnson led Stoughton’s offense, hitting a triple with the bases loaded and finished with another triple a run scored and five RBI. Jake Gibb went 2-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored, Doug Seaman scored two runs, Justin Hutchinson drove in a pair of runs and Nick Quattrucci also had a triple.

Sharon, 4 @ Foxboro, 8 – Final – Darren Kelly and Jesse Galanti each reached base three times and came around to score three runs each to pace Foxboro’s offense. Nick Wright and Steve Couroupacis combined on the mound for seven strikeouts.

Franklin, 6 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – Franklin used a four run seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie and secure the win. With the bases loaded and two outs, Franklin sophomore Jake Noviello’s fly ball fell in the infield for a pair of runs and Mike Skaza followed with a two run single to create the separation. North Attleboro took a 1-0 lead in the first inning behind an RBI single from Ridge Olsen, scoring Kyle McCarthy (single). The Panthers tied it up in the top of the third when Ryan Hodgkins singled, stole second and was sacrificed to third. He scored on a sacrifice fly from Nick Santucci. Franklin took the lead in the top of the fifth when Tyler Gomes singled in Hodgkins (triple). The Rocketeers quickly tied things up in the bottom of the inning behind a home run from sophomore Zach DeMattio. Hodgkins finished 2-4 with a pair of runs, Jake Lyons was 2/2 with a run and Santucci finished with three walks, a run and an RBI. Jake Noviello went six innings, striking out a pair while allowing two runs on four hits. Jason Ulrickson closed the game out for Franklin. North Attleboro’s Andy Katch was stellar in 6.2 innings of work, striking out three.

Taunton, 3 @ King Philip, 4 – Final

Milford, 10 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final (12 inn.) – In a back and forth affair, Oliver Ames was able to prevail in the 12th inning. Sophomore Mitch Goulet led off the inning with a single, was sacrificed to second and the Tigers walked off on an RBI single from sophomore Matt Muir. Muir and senior Chris Romero each had three hits for the Tigers.

Softball
Attleboro, 4 @ Mansfield, 6 – Final – Mansfield’s Rachel Carafa went 2-3 with an RBI, Maddie Letendre had two hits, Megan Letendre had an RBI and Kara Bendanillo and Jocelyn Reardon each had a hit for the Hornets. Maddie Letendre allowed just three hits while striking out nine for the win.

Stoughton, 3 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Gina Carafa pitched well for the Black Knights, giving up one run on five hits and striking out eight for the win. Offensively, Stoughton was led by Jordan Lyons, Jenni D’Andrea and Nicole Bodette, who got a pair of hits each. Bri Ferrandiz (RBI), Gina Carafa and Sam Tullis also got hits in the win for the Black Knights.

Foxboro, 5 @ Sharon, 8 – Final – Sharon junior Clara Cook threw a complete game, collecting 11 strikeouts and allowing eight hits. Offensively, Cook was 2-4 with a first inning RBI triple and a sixth inning RBI single. Senior catcher Rachel Usen and freshman Rebecca Clayman were also also 2-4, each recording a pair of singles. Sharon head coach Deb Parker said freshman Jody Goldenberg played an outstanding game in right field.

Franklin, 9 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Maddie Connelly and Alexx Niss each knocked in three runs as Franklin picked up a big win over division rival North Attleboro. Connelly went 4-5 with three RBI while Niss had a three-run home run along with three walks. Olivia DiGiacomo added a two RBI double, Clara DeCarvalho had three hits and Olivia Haba had three hits and an RBI. Caroline D’Aprile picked up the win, going five innings with five strikeouts. Emily Sawyer pitched the final two innings for the Panthers.

King Philip, 0 @ Taunton, 2 – Final

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Milford, 10 – Final – It was another perfect day at the plate for sophomore Emily Piergustavo, going 3-3 with a double and an RBI. Shannon Cormier went 2-2 with a pair of RBI and Maggie Farrell knocked in a pair and had a triple. Maddy Bonvino was 2/3 with a double and Jess Tomaso was 1/2 with a sacrifice fly. Ali Atherton tossed a complete game, striking out eight. Oliver Ames’ Rachel Han was 3-4 with a pair of singles, a double and two RBI. Victoria Ziner was 2-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored and Lexie Campbell (1-3, two runs scored) and Jamie Gottwald also scored for the Tigers on Han’s double.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 14 – Final – Ten different players found the back of the net for King Philip, who built a big lead and never let it go. Freshman Collin DeVellis led the Warriors with a hat trick and one assist while juniors John DeLuca and Ben Palmer each netted a pair of goals and had one assist. Freshman Robbie Tartaglia scored his first career goal in the win.

Canton, 8 @ North Attleboro, 7 – Final (2OT) – Ben O’Neill scored a team-high five goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime to give the Bulldogs a big league win. The Bulldogs trailed 6-4 at halftime but were able to limit Big Red to just one goal in the second half and overtime periods. Canton goalie Chris Albert was a big reason for that with 19 saves. Joe Mulkay, Dan Dillon and Mike Shaw each scored once and Shaun Kirby finished with three assists for Canton.

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 25 – Final – Louis Piccolo was in the giving mood on Wednesday, recording a career-high 10 assists in the Warriors’ big win. Piccolo also scored twice while Andrew Whalen scored four goals and had one assist, Trey Guerrini scored four goals and had two assists, Colby Nickerson notched a hat trick and Brian Buckner had one goal and one assist.

Mansfield, 7 @ Franklin, 15 – Final – The Panthers built a six goal lead by halftime and stretched the margin to double figures (16-5) by the start of the fourth quarter. Austin Kent led Franklin with eight points, scoring five goals and adding three assists while sophomore Eric Civetti scored six goals and had one assist. Sam Arsenault added a hat trick in the for Franklin. Freshman Jacob Alexander continued his dominance at the X, winning 23/28 faceoffs. Franklin head coach Lou Verrochi touted the play of his defense in front of sophomore goalie Connor O’Rourke (six saves).

North Attleboro, 16 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Mackenzie Rosenberg led North Attleboro’s offense with five goals while senior goalie Brooke Ebert played strong with 20 saves in net.

Foxboro, 19 @ Milford, 2 – Final

Franklin, 18 @ Mansfield, 8 – Final – Julia Jette paced Franklin’s offense with four goals and one assist while Caroline Lounsbury and Annie Walsh each found the back of the net three times in the Panthers’ win.

Oliver Ames, 11 @ Sharon, 8 – Final

Boys Tennis
Mansfield, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – The Hornets swept singles play and won at first doubles to get the divisional win. Benny Lin picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles, freshman Luke Nickerson won 6-1, 7-5 at second singles and Gus Daganhardt won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Mansfield’s final point came from Danny Radev and Sam Cavicchi with a 6-1, 7-5 win at first doubles. Attleboro’s Khaled Hantash and Ahijah Joseph won 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 at second doubles.

Canton, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final

Sharon, 5 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Eagles won each match in straight sets in a big divisional test against the Warriors. Junior Griffin Fein won at first singles, sophomore Fred Bondar won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and senior Han Cui took a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles. Junior Alex Romantz and senior Adam Dobbin teamed for a 6-2, 6-0 win at first doubles and Tilak Mehta and Dahujan Thiru won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles for Sharon.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Franklin won three matches in straight sets and had to battle through to others to get the sweep. Junior Eli Brooks won 6-4, 6-2 at second singles and freshman Dan Barrow picked up a 7-5, 6-3 decision at third singles. James Johnston and Tom Mancini won 6-2, 6-1 at first doubles for Franklin. Junior Rahul Herur had to battle back after dropping the first set to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 at first singles. The team of Cam Piana and Jeremy Gan had to the same to get a 6-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-8) win at second doubles for the Panthers.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – King Philip handled business against the visiting Tigers, taking all five matches in straight sets. Cole Ginter won 6-0, 6-2 at first singles, Garrett Schneider won 6-3, 6-0 at second doubles and Blake Ginter won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. KP’s Sam Colella and Ryan Gemelli won 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles and Justin Rohan and Jake Webster paired for a 6-0, 6-1 victory at second doubles.

Milford, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final

Girls Tennis
Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – The Hornets picked up the win in dominating fashion on Wednesday. Paulina Martin won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and Kathleen Giffels won by the same score at second singles. Sophomore Sarah Doyle won 6-2, 6-0 at third singles. Mansfield senior Cathryn Heavey and junior Chloe Peters won 6-0, 6-0 and freshmen Tessa Garufi and Elizabeth Elsner won 6-0, 3-6, 7-6 (10-8) at second doubles.

Stoughton, 1 @ Canton, 4 – Final – Canton swept through singles play and added a fourth win via first doubles against rival Stoughton. Carly Scanlon won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Skyler Jabbour won by the same score at second singles and Jude Aboukhater won 6-1, 6-0 at third singles. The Bulldogs wrapped up the win behind a 6-2, 6-1 victory from Tiffany Ha and Sarah MacQuarrie at first doubles. Stoughton’s Becca Lawson and Alyssa McGillicuddy battled back for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Foxboro, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Sharon freshman Nupur Shulka won a three set thriller to clinch the match for the Eagles. Shulka dropped the first set but battled back for a 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 win to hand Sharon the win. The Eagles swept doubles play to help clinch the win. Pooja Puttigampala and Katie Merport won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles and Michelle Cao and Rithica Neti won 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles. Foxboro’s Diana Prinos won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and Sophia Prinos won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.

Franklin, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – The Rocketeers continued their undefeated start to the season with a sweep of visiting Franklin. Julia Mark picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles, Jordan Willis won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and Allie Grinavic won 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. The Rocketeers continued to win in doubles play with Jhanavi Kapadia and Emily Chiasson winning 6-0, 6-1 at first doubles and Gabby Duva and Azka Siddiq winning 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles.

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – Final

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Oliver Ames swept singles play and notched a win at second doubles to secure the win on the road. Riley Spillane used strong net play to pick up a 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles, Jackie Sulkala’s strong serves aided a 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and freshman Sarah Leger was resilient in a 7-6 (10-8), 4-6, 6-4 win at third singles. OA’s Rachel Stryke and Olivia Groebe won 6-2, 6-4 at second doubles. Milford’s Julie Rabinowitcz and Megan Cafarella won 6-4, 6-3 at first doubles for the Scarlet Hawks.

Baseball
Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 1 – Final (8 inn.) – Nate Tellier scored both of Attleboro’s runs and tossed seven innings, allowing just one run to help the Bombardiers get a win in extra innings. King Philip took the lead in the fifth inning, with Jake Cavanagh getting hit by a pitch and then scoring on a single from Stephan MacMeans. Tellier reached on a walk in the sixth, stole second, moved to third on grounder and then scored when Will Carter made contact and the throw to home was off the mark. In the eighth inning, Tellier connected for a one out triple – his third triple in as many games – and scored on an RBI single from Pat Collins up the middle. On the mound, Tellier had 13 strikeouts, scattering five hits in seven innings of work. Matt Callahan pitched a perfect 1-2-3 inning in the bottom half of the eighth to clinch the win. Jack DiCenso allowed just one hit in 5.1 innings of work, striking out seven.

Canton, 6 @ Milford, 7 – Final – With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Anthony Arcudi connected for his second hit of the game, this one with the bases loaded to score Blake Hill for the game winning run. Hill hit a two-out double and Nick Johnson (HBP) and Marc Fornaciari (walk) loaded the bases. The Scarlet Hawks had 13 hits as a team with Hill (double, triple) and Arcudi leading the way. Chris Speroni, Alex Coady and Zach Tamagni each added a pair of hits for the Scarlet Hawks. Hill got the win on the mound after coming in relief and pitching a 1-2-3 inning in the seventh.

Stoughton, 13 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Jake Gibb reached base five times with three hits, including a double and a home run, walked twice and drove in a team best four runs to pace Stoughton’s offense. Doug Seaman went 2-4 with a pair of doubles, a stolen base, four runs scored and 2 RBI while Pat Hagerty reached four times and scored three times from in the lead-off spot. Nico Parmeggiani got the win on the mound, going four innings, allowing three runs (two earned), scattering six hits with three strikeouts and just two walks. Barry Cooke pitched well in relief, allowing just one run over three innings, striking out three.

Franklin, 0 @ Taunton, 7 – Final – Luke Figueira put in another strong performance for the Tigers on both the mound and at the plate. Figueira tossed six shutout innings, striking out seven while allowing just two hits. At the plate, the senior had three hits and an RBI. Brendon Mazerolle, Christian Simoes and Charles Hearrold III each had a pair of hits and an RBI for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 3 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – The Rocketeers continued the trend of scoring late inning runs, this time getting a walk off win over the Hornets. With the game tied, Brian Poillucci picked up his fourth hit of the game singling in pinch runner Bryan Harris for the winning run. Poillucci gave the Rocketeers the lead in the first, connecting for a two-run home run, scoring Kyle McCarthy. Mansfield tied the game in the fourth inning with two run shot from Mike Arnold, plating freshman Dan Saraceno (single). Aidan Cahill gave the Hornets their first lead in the sixth inning, scoring pinch runner Conor Driscoll but the Rocketeers tied the game in the bottom half when Ridge Olsen scored Brian Poillucci (triple) with a sacrifice fly. Poillucci finished 4-4 with three runs scored. Matt Papineau got the win for the Rocketeers, tossing a complete game with three strikeouts. Jared Menzer threw a complete game for the Hornets, striking out four.

Softball
King Philip, 18 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final (6 inn.) – The Warriors pounded out 21 hits, led by Sydney Phillips’ three run home run and four total hits. Brooke Taute and Kali Magane each had three hits while Christa Wagner (home run), Meghan Gorman, Elise Pereira and Jessica Bonner all had two hits for the Warriors. Pereira got the win, allowing just one hit in four innings of work. Magane finished the game with four strikeouts in two innings of work.

Milford, 12 @ Canton, 1 – Final – Emily Piergustavo was perfect at the plate, going 5-5 with a double, a triple and knocked in a pair of runs. Maggie Farrell was also perfect, going 4-4 with a double and driving in a team-high four RBI and Jill Powers went 2-4 with three RBI and a home run. Kelley Reichert got the win, scattering three hits without giving up a run while striking out four.

Foxboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 6 – Final – Stoughton was led offensively by freshman Jordan Lyons, who went 2-3 with a pair of runs scored and improved her season average to .500. Jenni D’Andrea also added a pair of hits for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 0 @ Taunton, 5 – Final – The Tigers were limited to their lowest offensive output of the season but Aimee Kistner was strong in the circle, striking out five while allowing no runs or walks and just four hits in a complete game effort. Kistner was backed by strong defense, including a nice backhanded play by Jaime Brown down the third base line that resulted in a double play and backhand catch from Bailey Clapp in left with two runnings on. Kistner went 2-2 at the play with a triple and two RBI, Brown was 2-3 with a double, triple and run scored, Liana Duarte went 2-4 and Sarah Bagge was 2-3 with a run.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Freshman Madyson Bendanillo went 3-4 for the Hornets with a pair of RBI and two runs scored. Rachel Carafa also went 2-3 with a pair of RBI for Mansfield, while Maddie Letendre struck out 11 and allowed two earned runs in a complete game win. North Attleboro was led by Jordan Sharpe, who was 2-4 with two RBI, and also got two hits each from Meg Barlow and Gina Miceli. North had seven batters record at least one hit, but left 13 runners on base, including the tying run at first in the seventh.

Sharon, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final – Oliver Ames’ offense produced 12 hits to score double-digit runs for the second time this season. Lexie Campbell was 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored, Victoria Ziner was 2-2 with four runs scored and an RBI, Jamie Gottwald was 2-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI, Katie Pursley was 2-4 with four RBI and Dalene Gomes was 2-4 with an RBI. OA’s Jordyn Leite and Katie Mills both had a hit for the Tigers as well.

Oliver Ames, 12 @ Attleboro, 6 – Final – OA senior attack Matt Gilson had three goals, sophomore attack Eric LeBlanc had three goals and three assists and sophomore Owen Gallagher had a pair of goals and one assist for the Tigers. Head coach Chris DiGiacomo said junior Sean Cosgrove was solid in net in his first varsity start.

Franklin, 19 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Senior Trevor Drake scored a pair of goals and had an assist while sophomore Luke Downie scored once and had two assists and sophomore Jonathan O’Glishen scored twice.

Attleboro, 13 @ Oliver Ames, 9 – Final – After a high scoring first half that saw the Bombardiers take a 9-7 lead in the halftime break, Attleboro was able to limit the Tigers to just two second half goals. Hannah Lamothe led Attleboro with four goals while Sam Spaziano scored twice and had two assists. Kayla Merritt added two goals and an assist while Kyra Lions scored once and had an assist. Mish Logie added two goals for the Bombardiers while Emily Patton and Meg Dotzenrod each scored once.

Mitchell Dyer won 6-3, 6-4 at first singles and junior Zack Pfeffer won 6-2, 7-5 at third singles for Big Red. North Attleboro also got wins from seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch at first doubles (6-3, 6-0) and senior Jake Fontes and junior Daniel Zhang at second doubles (6-2, 6-3). Foxboro, 1 @ Attleboro, 9 – Final – Tyler McGovern was masterful on the mound and Nate Tellier was perfect at the plate as Attleboro picked up a win over visiting Foxboro. McGovern threw a complete game, scattering three hits and striking out 12 to get the win. Tellier was 4-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and a triple. He also drove in a pair and had two stolen bases. Will Carter added a double and a triple and Jon Dunn had two hits and two RBI for the Bombardiers.

Mansfield, 3 @ Hingham, 2 – Final Mansfield rallied in the top of the seventh inning with two runs to beat the Harbormen on the road. Freshman Dan Saraceno led off the final inning with a triple and Max Boen knocked him in for the tying run with a single. Boen eventually came around to score the go-ahead run on a passed ball. Sophomore Tyler Dalton got the win on the mound in a complete game effort. Dalton struck out four, scattering five hits. He closed the door in the seventh by inducing a 1-6-3 double play.

King Philip, 7 vs. Bishop Feehan, 3 – Final – Kali Magane delivered a stellar performance in the circle to help the Warriors avenge a loss to the Shamrocks earlier this month. Magane struck out 12, allowing just three hits on the day. Christa Wagner was 4-4 on the day with a homerun, a triple and three runs scored. Jenn Hutnyan added a two-run double and Magane helped her own cause with a pair of hits at the plate.

Mansfield, 10 @ Holliston, 5 – Final – The Hornets capitalized on nine hits to double up on Holliston. Megan Letendre had two hits and two RBI, Kara Bendanillo had a pair of hits and Maddie Letendre had one hit and two RBI. Marissa Staffier and Bri Homer each had a hit, Mady Bendanillo had a triple and scored on an error and Sarah Bradley had her first varsity hit and an RBI for the Hornets. Maddie Letendre stuck out seven, allowing five hits in a complete game effort to get the win.

Oliver Ames, 5 @ Walpole, 1 – Final – Freshman Kayla Georgeu kept the Rebels at bay, tossing a complete game with five strikeouts and only four hits allowed. OA’s bats came to life with nine hits on the day. Missy Krim was 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored, Rachel Han was 2-3 with a double and a run scored, Katie Pursley had a big triple in the 7th to score Jamie Gottwald (hit, RBI) and Victoria Ziner was 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Jake Lyons was 2-2 (and two walks) with three runs scored, Josh Macchi had three hits with an RBI and a run scored and Alex Bissanti had a pair of hits and a pair of RBI with a run scored. Sophomore Jake Noviello got the win on the mound, tossing six innings with eight strikeouts and just two works, allowing two earned runs.

Mansfield, 0 @ Braintree, 7 – Final – The Hornets were limited to three hits in the game with Tyrone Pascual having a double and Max Boen and Kevin Dow each recording a single.

Stoughton, 3 @ Taunton, 6 – Final – Luke Figueira struck out 10 in six-plus innings of work to lead the Tigers to their second win in as many days. Figueira allowed three runs, all coming in the seventh, and just four runs. At the plate, the senior had a pair of hits and a run scored. Sophomore Joe Manchester had two hits, two RBI and a run scored and senior Brendon Mazerolle and sophomore Christian Simoes each added two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Mazerolle picked up his first save of the year, inheriting a bases loaded situation – the tying run at the plate – with no outs and was able to get out of the jam.

North Attleboro, 16 @ Canton, 2 – Final – North Attleboro’s Amelia Murphy tossed a two-hitter to earn the win and helped her own cause at the plate with a home run and a triple. Kaylea Sherman added a home run and a single, Jordan Sharpe went 4-5 with five RBI and Gina Miceli and Rylee Guthrie each added a pair of hits for the Rocketeers.

Milford, 11 vs. Hopedale, 3 – Final – Ali Atherton didn’t allow a run in six innings of work, scattering three hits and striking out eight to hand Hopedale its first loss of the season. Jess Tomaso was 1-2 with a home run, two RBI and a pair of walks and Meg Jacques went 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Maddy Bonvino went 1/2 with a double, an RBI and a walk and Emily Piergustavo was 1-3 with a sacrifice fly and two RBI.

Canton’s Pat Hession was first in the 400M, Mark Clancy won the 2 Mile, Ian Ozer won the shot put and Sean Mitchell was first in the high jump.

Brown won both the 100M (13.0) and the 200M (28.1), Song won the 1 Mile (5:57.7) and the 2 Mile (12:47.6) and Cho won both the long jump and the triple jump. Erika Lum and Hannah Jankowski took first and third in the high jump respectively while Sam Koplik won the 100M hurdles and came in third in the 400M hurdles.

King Philip, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final (9 inn.) – Senior Jon Rolfe picked up the win with a complete game shutout, allowing just five hits. Rolfe had 82 total pitches – 62 for strikes – in an efficient outing that saw him strike out three batters. In the top of the ninth, Stephan MacMean’s leadoff double to turned into a run when junior Will Weir singled him home. Three straight singles from Rolfe, senior Jack DiCenso and senior Jake Cavanagh plated pinch runner Rich Lucente for the Warriors’ second run.

Milford, 7 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Sophomore Aidan Wilde struck out six in five innings of no hit baseball to get the win on the mound for the Scarlet Hawks. Chris Speroni was 2-3 with three stolen bases and two runs scored while Blake Hill had a triple and two RBI.

North Attleboro, 8 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – North Attleboro’s John O’Donnell scattered five hits and one walk over seven innings of work, striking out five to pick up the win for the Rocketeers. North Attleboro erased a deficit with a four run fourth inning to get the lead including a pair of runs coming off suicide squeezes. Zach Rofino was 2-5 with two RBI, Kyle McCarthy was 2-4 with a pair of RBI, Ethan Hebard added a pair of hits, Bryan Harris had a hat and two sacrifices and Ridge Olsen finished with two hits. North Attleboro amassed 12 hits as a team. Taunton’s Max Bowden had two hits and an RBI for the Tigers.

Bailey Clapp and Sarah Bagge each added two hits and Rebekah Lajoie had a pinch hit two run home run for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – OA’s Lexie Campbell’s complete game effort, with just two earned runs allowed, helped the Tigers pick up a win. Jamie Gottwald went 3-3 at the play, knocking in a pair of runs and Rachel Han was 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Lizzie Miller also had an RBI and a run scored while Victoria Ziner and Caroline Mahoney each added hits for Oliver Ames. Stoughton’s Nicole Bodette, Jordan Lyons and Karly Estramerea all had two hits for the Black Knights.

Boys Lacrosse
Mansfield, 14 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – Ryan Smith led a balanced attack with a game-high four goals while Sam O’Connell and Connor Finerty each added three goals and Joe Cox and Billy Grant chipped in with two goals apiece.

King Philip, 10 @ Canton, 4 – Final – King Philip started strong, building a 5-1 lead after the first quarter but didn’t put the game away until adding four goals in the fourth quarter. Sam Agricola led the offense with four goals and one assist and senior Steven Eaton led the defense with 10 groundballs. John DeLuca and Harrison Fallon each scored a pair of goals and Tim Watson added two more with an assist.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Foxboro, 12 – Final – Louis Piccolo scored four goals and Colin Spinney netted a hat trick to lead the offense for the Warriors. Connor McNamara added a goal and three assists and Brendan Tully found the back of the net twice and had one assist. Pat Kaveny had five groundballs for Foxboro.

Franklin, 18 @ Sharon, 4 – Final – The teams finished level (3-3) at the end of the first quarter but Franklin won the second quarter 6-0 and the second half 9-1 to get the win. Freshman Jacob Alexander dominated the faceoff X, winning 24/26 draws while sophomore Eric Civetti tied a team record with eight goals in the game. Senior Austin Kent added four goals and three assists and sophomore goalie Connor O’Rourke made seven saves in net. Head coach Lou Verrochi credited the defense of Sean Lockhart, Matt Pleshaw, Wyatt Arsenault and Patrick Morrison for limited the Eagles after the first quarter.

Milford, 4 @ North Attleboro, 16 – Final – Sophomore Colin Young scored four goals to lead the Rocketeers.

Attleboro, 11 @ Mansfield, 10 – Final (OT)

Foxboro, 18 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final

Sharon, 3 @ Franklin, 17 – Final – Julia Jette scored a team-high four goals, including her 100th career goal, and added two assists to lead the Panthers. Grace MacCallum had a pair of goals and four draw controls and Olivia Truenow had two groundballs and played well on defense according to head coach Kristin Igoe.

Franklin, 5 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Franklin’s Rahul Herur and Eli Brooks picked up 6-1, 6-1 wins at first and second singles respectively to lead the Panthers. Tom Mancini won 6-2, 6-1 at third singles for Franklin, James Johnston and Cam Piana won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles and Jeremy Gan and Dan Barrow won 6-1, 6-2 at second doubles for the Panthers.

Foxboro, 1 @ Canton, 4 – Final

King Philip, 5 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – King Philip sophomore Cole Ginter rallied for a 3-6 7-5, 1-0 (11-9) at first singles to lead the Warriors. Garrett Schneider won 6-2, 6-3 at second singles and Blake Ginter won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. Ryan Gemelli and Sam Colella won 6-3, 6-2 at first doubles and Justin Rohan and Jake Webster won 6-3, 6-0 at second doubles for KP.

Milford, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – Final

North Attleboro, 5 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Rallies at both first and second singles anchored the Rocketeers to a win. Mitchell Dyer rallied for a 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5) win at first singles and Barsomo Nuay won 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5). North junior Zack Pfeffer won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles, Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 6-3, 6-4 at first doubles and Jake Fontes and Daniel Zhang won 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles.

Oliver Ames, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames won each singles match in straight sets to pick up its first win of the season. Thomas O’Leary won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles, Greg Weinstein won 6-1, 6-4 at second singles and Jarrod Hedlund won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles.

Girls Tennis
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Franklin didn’t lose a game at first or second singles as well as first doubles to get the win. Hannah Sweeney and Anna Humphreys won 6-0, 6-0 at first and second singles respectively while junior Anja Deric and senior Katelyn Davenport won with the same score at first doubles. Franklin junior Madison Derby won 6-3, 2-6, 13-11 at third singles and seniors Halle Love and Selina Wu won 6-3, 6-2 at second doubles.

Canton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Diana Prinos, Sophia Prinos and Lexi Nelson all won in straight sets without losing a game in singles play to lead the Warriors. Michaela McCarthy and Diana Hickox won 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles for Foxboro. Canton’s Tiffany Ha and Sarah MacQuarrie won 6-2, 6-4 at first doubles.

Mansfield, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – The Warriors swept doubles play and got a win at third singles to edge out the Hornets. Kelly Masse’s and Megan Davenport’s marathon 7-6, 1-6, 6-4 win at first doubles was key while Molly Citarell and Corinne Palumbo won 6-1, 6-4 at second doubles. Sophomore Megan Sepich notched a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 comeback win at third singles for the Warriors. Mansfield’s Paulina Martin won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and Kathleen Giffels won 6-2, 6-3 at second singles.

Sharon, 5 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Sharon didn’t lose a game in singles play and lost only three games in the two doubles matches combined in the win. Lulu Yuan, Nupur Shulka and Emily Wen all won 6-0, 6-0 at first, second and third singles respectively. Pooja Puttigampala and Michal Kondratiev teamed up for a 6-0, 6-3 win at first doubles and Katie Merpot and Sydney Gordon won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final

Stoughton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames swept singles play and got a win at first doubles to pick up the victory. Riley Spillane won 6-2, 6-2 at first singles, Jackie Sulkala won 6-2, 6-3 at second singles and Sarah Leger won 6-0, 6-3 at third singles. Lark Warner and Olivia Groebe rallied to win 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 at first doubles for OA. Stoughton’s Becca Lawson and Ellie Kashian won 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at second doubles for the Black Knights.

Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 1 vs. Barnstable 3 – Final – Taunton fell behind 2-0 in close, won the third game but Barnstable won the fourth game to win the match. Set scores were 23-25, 23-25, 25-13, 14-25. Ricardo DaFonseca had 43 assists and 11 digs along with a block and an ace for the Tigers. Sophomore Lance Law had 22 kills, eight digs and an ace, Collin Hunter played well with 11 kills and a block and Nate Grant was strong in the back row with 16 digs.
