Foxboro, 1 @ Canton, 2 – FinalFoxboro took a 1-0 lead into halftime but Canton found the back of the net twice in the second half to take the win. Griffin Roach latched onto a feed from Alejandro Correal to tie the game in the 65th minute. Ten minutes later, Paolo Ruggeri nodded in the game-winner off a cross from Simon Cruz. Joe Cusack put Foxboro up 1-0 midway through the first half on an assist from Nic Beigel.

Girls Soccer
Foxboro, 5 @ Canton, 1 – FinalFoxboro built a 3-0 advantage by halftime and never looked back for its 14th win of the season. Katelyn Mollica had a goal and assist to pace the Foxboro offense while Kenzi Fraser, Kaitryn Franchino, Jordyn Collins, and Grace Ferguson each scored once. Kendra Wentling and Kailee McCabe each added an assist in the win. “I’m so proud of these girls and the amazing season they’ve had,” said Foxboro coach Katie Stalcup. “I am so excited to see what they can do in the tournament.”

Foxboro, 5 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalFoxboro came out firing on all cylinders, scoring five goals in the first half to earn two points on the road. Jordyn Collins set the tone inside the opening minute, taking a pass from Lizzy Davis and scoring to put the visitors ahead. Kenzi Fraser, Kailee McCabe, Katie Hunter, and Katelyn Mollica (from Kaitryn Franchino) all scored once for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Braintree, 0 – FinalNorth Attleboro bounced back from a loss to Foxboro with a solid non-league road win. Ashlyn Gaulin scored the game’s only goal when she followed up her own shot that had caromed off the crossbar and she tapped in the rebound. North coach William Wallace praised the play of Kayla Pasquel, Haley Ferrin, Lydia Santos, and Bri Westcott in the middle of the field. Emma Noreck earned the clean sheet in goal.

Franklin, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalCassi Ronan set up a pair of goals in the first half and the Panthers scored two more in the second half to beat Attleboro. Ronan assisted on Regan Paterson’s goal that put the Panthers up 1-0, and then set up Victoria Quinn as Franklin took a 2-0 lead into half. Sara Carney and Stephanie Bell each scored unassisted goals in the second half and Anna Jardine made four saves in goal for the shutout.

King Philip, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – FinalMeghan MacDonald, Alli Meehan, and Nicole Connor all scored in the first half, helping the Warriors build a 3-0 lead that it never relinquished in a win over Oliver Ames. Abby Nixon had an assist on MacDonald’s opening goal with 12:49 left in the first half. Meehan set Connor up with 4:41 left in the half, and then switched roles for a 4-0 lead less than three minutes into the second. Meehan finished with three goals and an assist and sophomore Olivia Kulesza added a late goal for KP. Oliver Ames sophomore Brynna Courneen scored her first goal of the season off a penalty corner in the second half.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton 0 – FinalTaunton goalie Emma Sheehan made 10 saves to help keep the contest equal.

Volleyball
Canton, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, Canton won a close third game and went on to finish the match with a 3-1 victory (25-15, 18-25, 25-23, 25-16). Erin Devine has a great night for the Bulldogs, finishing with 12 kills and six blocks. Taylor Harris added nine kills, two blocks and 12 digs, Nicole Brown continued to impress with 22 assists, five kills, three aces and 11 digs, and Emily Morrison and Megan McDonough (five aces) combined for 19 digs.

Foxboro, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final

King Philip, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalKing Philip went on the road and recorded a 3-0 sweep (25-7, 25-21, 25-20) against Oliver Ames. KP middles Catherine Waldeck (12 kills, two blocks) and Nicole Coughlan (seven kills, five blocks, two aces) both had strong games for the Warriors while, Kat Kmetz added 12 digs, two kills, and a pair of aces, and Shayla Weitzman finished with 14 digs, four aces, and 13 service points. For Oliver Ames, senior Jackie Raymond had eight aces, senior Sadie Homer finished with 36 digs, and junior Allie Kemp had 16 assists.

Mansfield, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalMansfield fell behind 2-1 but battled back to win the fourth set, and went on to win the decisive fifth set for a win over Taunton (16-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-17, 15-7). For Mansfield, Greenly Kelly had nine kills, four blocks and 14 service points, Sam Sternberg added 15 digs and 10 service points, Olivia McGrath had a nice game with 13 kills and 10 service points, and Katie Dardinski chipped in with nine digs and 13 service points.

Foxboro, 173 @ Oliver Ames, 153 – FinalOliver Ames picked a pair of wins, including a divisional victory, by beating Foxboro and Taunton in a tri-match at Pine Oaks. Nolan Donze paced Oliver Ames with a 36, Liam Barry shot 38, Ryan Bock carded a round of 39, and Justin Shapiro finished with a 40.

Franklin, 163 vs. Medway, 178 – FinalFranklin defended its home course against non-league foe Medway on Friday afternoon. Quinten Faro paced the Panthers with a team-low round of 40 while Matt D’Errico and Jack Paterson each shot a 41.

Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 4 – FinalKing Philip scored three goals in the first half, overcoming a one-goal deficit, to beat Attleboro. The Warriors opened the scoring in the third minute when sophomore Ajae Olsen converted a feed from classmate Camron Lawrence. Attleboro struck back for a pair of goals to seize a 2-1 lead as Hugo Henriquez struck in the 11th minute (from Josh Smith) and Will Halben scored in the 29th minute. But KP responded quickly as Ian Zimmerman (from Gavon Fox) made it 2-2 in the 34th minute. Just before halftime, senior Tony Bozza put the hosts ahead, 3-2, in the 38th minute. Bozza added an insurance goal midway through the second off an assist from freshman Stephen Griffin.

Canton, 1 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalCanton’s Simon Cruz with just under 10 minutes to play to give the Bulldogs two points on the road.

Foxboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalFoxboro junior Dylan Barreira exploded for six goals in the first half to pace the Warriors to a win. Nic Beigel scored the other goal for the Warriors while also recording four assists in the victory. Stoughton sophomore Nolan Gerome made his varsity debut in net, recording 19 saves for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 3 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalTaunton exploded for three goals in the second half to pick up its second straight win. Alec Nunes scored the game-winner in the 52nd minute, taking a pass from Kyle Aubin and blasting a shot from range to put the Tigers ahead 1-0. Mateusz Hagemajer scored the next two goals, first off an assist from Brett Beaulieu in the 55th minute and then unassisted in the 67th minute. THS coach Taylor Whitters said Liam Crowley and Charlie Fiske also played well for the Tigers while Nolan Melo recorded his second shutout of the season.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalMansfield jumped ahead just moments into the second half but Oliver Ames knotted the score just over 10 minutes later as the Hornets and Tigers finished level. Junior Owen Mullahy put the hosts in front, heading in a cross in the 42nd minute. Oliver Ames’ Kevin Louhis tied the game in the 55th minute, tucking his shot inside the near post. Louhis collected a loose ball after a volley from sophomore Colin Milliken hit off the crossbar and bounced into the area.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 1 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Joe Hilf gave the visitors the lead with a goal from distance but Milford found the equalizer midway through the second half to earn a draw at home. Hilf put Big Red ahead just over the midway point of the first half with a hard shot from distance. In the second half, Milford junior Omar Lema scored his first career goal off an assist from Walisson de Oliveira, tying the game in the 60th minute.

Girls Soccer
King Philip, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalAvery Snead scored once and assisted on another, as KP remained on top in the Kelley-Rex with the win. Makayla Griffin scored inside the opening 10 minutes, on a Snead assist, for what turned out to be the game-winner. Snead double the lead in the second half with a shot from just inside the 18 and Jenny Montville sealed the win on a through ball by Ally Stanton. Attleboro goalie Tayla Drape made 12 saves to keep the Bombardiers in the game and earned praise from both coaches.

Canton, 5 @ Sharon, 0 – Final

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 7 – FinalFoxboro senior Kenzi Fraser exploded for four goals and one assist to lead the Warriors to a big win at home. Jordyn Collins, Kendra Wentling, and Lizzy Davis (goal) all had an assist while Kailee McCabe scored off a feed from Fraser. Freshman Kaitryn Franchino capped with the scoring with an unassisted tally.

Franklin, 4 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalSydney St. Marie scored a pair of goals, Calen Frongillo had a pair of assists and Hailey Toolin had a goal and an assist for the Panthers. Stella Regan also had a goal and Sabrina Addi had an assist in the win.

Mansfield, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalSteph Kemp scored the only goal of the game to keep Mansfield unbeaten in the league this season. For Oliver Ames, head coach Britt Sellmayer said Emma O’Donnell had a great game in net and credited Anna Tempestoso and Abby Hodges with strong games.

Canton, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalCanton’s Maggie Malloy scored a hat trick as the Bulldogs rolled on the road at Sharon. Shannon Crowley and Beth Oldenburg each scored once while Allie Gefteas scored her first career goal in Canton’s win.

Foxboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalLily Daly scored a pair of goals and assisted on a third as Foxboro notched a win on the road over Stoughton. Daly scored two goals in the first half as Foxboro took a 2-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Daly set up Jamie Notarangelo for the third goal.

Taunton, 2 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalTaunton rallied from a 2-0 deficit to grab a point on the road with the draw. Goals from Cassi Ronan (from Regan Paterson) and Amanda Lewandowski (from Stephanie Bell) put the Panthers ahead 2-0 at halftime. But Taunton scored twice in the second, tying the game with 10 minutes to go. Lauren Torres (from Jillian Pagliuca) made it a one goal game and then Alana Tavares tied the game. Emma Sheehan had five saves in net for the Tigers. THS head coach Liz Hathaway praised the work of her defense, including Skylar Rheaume, who made a big defensive save for Taunton.

Nicole Brown continued to lead the Bulldogs, finishing with 18 assists, 18 digs, five kills, and an ace while Taylor Harris added seven kills, five aces, and nine digs, and Theresa O’Brien chipped in while six kills and an ace. Freshman Sydney Gallery added three kills in her first full varsity set.

Foxboro, 0 @ Stoughton, 3 – FinalStoughton notched its fourth win of the season with a 3-0 sweep (25-20, 25-16, 25-14) of visiting Foxboro. Mia Bennett was strong in the back row with 34 digs, Sasha Hyacinthe and Amaya Morris led the offense combining for 17 kills, Hanna Holden had 18 assists, and Molly Turner had a well rounded game of 15 assists, eight kills, and five aces.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final Oliver Ames fended off a furious rally attempt from Mansfield in the first set and went on to earn the sweep (26-24, 25-14, 25-20). For OA, senior Sadie Homer led the way with 21 digs, senior Sarah Litwack added 17 assists, junior Jordan Bosse finished with 10 kills, senior Grace McCallum chipped in with seven aces, and junior Mary Davenport had a strong game in the middle. For Mansfield, Greenly Kelly and Katie Dardinski each had eight service points while Emily Dardinski paced the offense with nine kills.

Golf
Sharon, 162 @ Oliver Ames, 145 – FinalOliver Ames’ Liam Barry earned medalist honors with a low-round of 35 as the Tigers handed Sharon its first loss of the season. Thomas Walsh and Tate Hadges each cared a 36 while Nolan Donze shot a 38 at Pine Oaks.

Taunton, 181 @ Mansfield, 167 – FinalSophomore Nathan Morreale shot a team-low round of 41 while three other Hornets shot 42 in a win over Taunton at Norton Country Club. Sophomores Jason See, Ava Haggis and Joseph Gormley rounded out Mansfield’s scoring each with a 42.

North Attleboro, 165 @ Milford, 179 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Marcus Costa shot a low-round of 38 to earn medalist honors and pace the Rocketeers on the road. Matt Wanless added a 41 for Big Red while Jillian Barend carded a round of 42.

Canton, 2 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalTwice Canton took a one-goal lead and twice Foxboro responded in a quick manner to earn a draw at home. Paul Corcoran converted a sliding shot in the 2nd minute to give the visitors an early advantage but Nic Beigel brought Foxboro level, converting a penalty drawn by Matt Garcia. In the second half, Simon Cruz made a nice near post run in the 59th minute and hit a one timer to make it 2-1 in favor of Canton. But just four minutes later, Beigel grabbed his second with a nicely placed shot from outside the area.

Girls Soccer
Canton, 2 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalFoxboro built a 2-0 lead but Canton scored twice in the final 20 minutes to earn a draw. Sophomore Katelyn Mollica put the hosts up 1-0 in the 10th minute, an advantage Foxboro took into halftime. Ten minutes into the second half, Kaitryn Franchino scored her second goal in as many games to make it 2-0. But Canton scored on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute and tied the game in the 71st minute to earn a point on the road.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 9 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s Ashlyn Gaulin recorded four points and sister Emma Gaulin had three points as the Rocketeers rolled at home. Ashlyn Gaulin scored three goals and had one assist while Emma Gaulin scored once and had two helpers. Olivia Bishop, Lauren Pezzi, Lexi Sinacola, Tess Collins, and Emma Noreck all scored once for North Attleboro.

Field Hockey
Canton, 0 @ Walpole, 4 – FinalCanton sophomore Riley O’Connor made 16 saves in goal, but the Bulldogs fell on the road to the Porkers.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Taunton, 4 – FinalTaunton scored a pair of goals in each half to pick up a win over visiting North Attleboro. Alana Tavares scored both goals in the first half to give the Tigers the lead. Seniors Lauren Torres and Cierra Bartel each scored once in the second half for Taunton while Emma Sheehan made five saves in goal. THS head coach Liz Hathaway said Jillian Pagliuca, Jocelyn Pagliuca, and Kathryn Robinson all played well for the Tigers.

Oliver Ames, 2 vs. West Bridgewater, 1 – FinalOliver Ames scored once in each half to pick up a win over West Bridgewater. The Tigers had 13 corners and peppered the West Bridgewater net with 21 shots. Meaghan Rockey scored OA’s first goal on an assist from Maggie Woods. Rockey then set Maura Kiernan up for the game-winning goal at the midway point of the second half.

Boys Cross Country
Ocean State InvitationalMansfield’s Patrick Heavey earned a third place finish to help the Hornets take a third overall as a team. Heavey clocked in at 16:33.8 for third while Paxton Howard (17:30.9, 38th), Mike Mullahy (17:31.5, 40th), and Cullen Lancaster (17:32.3, 42nd) all had top 50 finishes for the Hornets. Oliver Ames was fifth as a team led by Zane Reservitz’s (16:51.1) 10th place finish and Rory McLaughlin’s (16:54.9) 12th place finish. North Attleboro senior Liam Monahan was 11th overall, crossing the finish line at 16:54.7. In the other varsity race, Foxboro’s Ryan Proulx finished in 17:33.1, taking 22nd overall.

Girls Cross Country
Ocean State InvitationalFoxboro had two runners finish in the top 10 of the Division 1 Varsity race, helping the Warriors earn a fourth place finish. Junior Abby Hassman was fourth overall at 19:28.4 while senior Lexi Quinn took seventh at 19:34.5. Lindsey Nelson was the third Warrior to cross, taking 17th overall in 20:41.4. In the Division 2 Varsity race, Mansfield girls were 20th overall. Senior Margaret Riley (20:50.3) and sophomore Tessa Lancaster (20:51.7) took 43rd and 44th respectively. North Attleboro was 22nd overall with junior Olivia Forbes having the top time, taking 80th in 21:41.1. Attleboro junior Shea Jamieson had the top finish of any Hockomock runner, clocking in at 20:41.1 for 37th.

Boys Soccer
Canton, 2 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalKing Philip took the lead just over the midway point of the first half but Canton leveled before the break and scored a late winner to grab two points. Good pressure from Owen Teixeira led to chance for Nilaish Sen at the top of the box and he put the Warriors up 1-0. Canton’s Paolo Ruggeri leveled the score with just over five minutes left in the first half and senior Griffin Roach buried a free kick with just two minutes to play for the game-winner.

Foxboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – FinalOliver Ames scored twice in the final 10 minutes to grab two points at home. Sophomore Colin Milliken scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute, finishing off a cross from classmate Jimmy Keane. Minutes later, sophomore Kevin Louhis converted a feed from senior Sean Flaherty. OA coach John Barata credited Matt Nikiciuk, Haendal Louhis, and Adam Freeman for strong play in the midfield and Harry Ahearn, Niko Byron, Aaron MacDonald and Matt Nosalek for their efforts defensively. Jacob Lerman, the OA senior goalie, earned his fourth shutout of the season.

Stoughton, 2 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalFranklin built a 3-0 lead but had to hold off a furious Stoughton rally to beat the Knights. Stoughton used an own goal and a tally from John Neves (from Fabi Ponce de Leon) to get within a goal. The visitors nearly found the equalizer but Franklin’s defense was able to fend the Knights to get the win.

Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalMansfield’s Luke Savoie converted a penalty kick in the 73rd minute to lead the Hornets to a win. In a very even game, both defensive units played very well. For Milford, Joey Madden, Zach Browne, Joao Boaventura, and Lucas Caetano kept the Hornets’ attack at bay. Mansfield’s Derek Meuth, Ethan Brill-Cass, Sam Nugent, and Cam Eddy were massive in earning the shutout.

North Attleboro, 0 vs. Hingham, 0 – FinalA Hingham defender cleared the ball off the line, robbing North Attleboro of the best chance of the game as the Rocketeers and Harbormen finished level. Kyle Brier notched his fifth shutout of the season for the Big Red.


Girls Soccer
King Philip, 8 @ Canton, 1 – FinalCanton took a lead inside the opening three minutes of the game, but the KP offense exploded for four goals before halftime and added four more after the break for a convincing win. Chloe Layne recorded a hat trick and Avery Snead had a brace and an assist to lead the Warriors. Jenny Cullen and Makayla Griffin each had a pair of assists, Ally Stanton scored a pair of goals, and Jaida Caruso scored once for KP.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalFoxboro scored in the final moments of the first half to tie the game, and found the winner halfway through the second half to beat Oliver Ames. “We battled the entire 80 minutes, I’m so proud of this team,” said Foxboro head coach Katie Stalcup. OA seized the lead in the 26th minute when Maeve Hogan scored off a corner kick from Brianna Gibson. Foxboro freshman Kaitryn Franchino leveled the match with three minutes left in the first half. Warrior sophomore Jordyn Collins scored the game-winner in the 23rd minute, finishing off a feed from Katelyn Mollica. OA head coach Britt Sellmayer added that Abby Hodges, Abby Evin, and Erin Holmberg played well for OA.

Franklin, 9 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalEmily Landry had two goals and an assist to lead the Panthers in a big win. Sydney St. Marie and Carly Alston each had a brace, Stella Regan added a goal and two assists, Anna Balkus had a goal and an assist, and Erin Quaile had a goal for Franklin. Sam Powderly, Kaylee DeSimone, and Calen Frongillo all had assists in the win. Nicole Weir had a strong game for the Black Knights.

Mansfield, 2 @ Milford, 0 – FinalSteph Kemp and Katy Garvin scored second half goals to keep Mansfield unbeaten in the league. Kemp also had an assist, as did Maria Sevastos.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 6 vs. Bishop Feehan, 2 – FinalAttleboro junior Anna Beck scored a hat trick to lead the Bombardiers over visiting Bishop Feehan. Alex Compton added a pair of goals and Eliza Sabilla scored once for Attleboro.

Franklin, 1 vs. Needham, 7 – FinalFranklin’s Victoria Quinn scored in the first half on an assist from Cassi Ronan but the Panthers fell at home to Needham. Quinn’s goal had Franklin tied 1-1 at half with the Rockets but Needham’s offense exploded in the second half. Anna Jardine made four saves while Neilee Hess had one stop.

Volleyball
Mansfield, 0 @ Bishop Feehan, 3 – FinalThe Hornets pushed the Shamrocks to the brink but ultimately fell on the road 3-0 (17-25, 22-25, 29-31). “It was a great team effort and they worked really hard and played tough from beginning to end. I am really proud of their effort,” said Mansfield head coach Melissa Heeden. Greenly Kelly had 10 kills, Katie Dardinski had 13 service points and eight digs, and Sam Sternberg had 18 digs and eight service points for Mansfield.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Taunton, 3 – FinalTaunton rallied after dropping the first set to the win the next three and get a win over the visiting Rocketeers, 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-16). Jaime Brown had a standout game, dishing out 32 assists along with four aces. Michaela Felici had a team-high 11 kills, Kamila Cuevas added nine kills, seven blocks, and three aces, and Sam Silviera chipped in with seven kills and four blocks. “It was a great team effort all around,” said THS head coach Toby Chaperon. For North Attleboro, Hayley Gaskin had 20 assists and Lauren Antonetti put down 10 kills.

Oliver Ames, 3 vs. Brockton, 1 – FinalOliver Ames defended its home court against the Boxers, taking the final two sets to earn a 3-1 win (25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 25-12). Junior Alison Barth had a strong game for the Tigers, finishing with seven kills. Sadie Homer added 30 digs and three aces, Jordan Bosse notched 13 kills and four assists, Caitlin Cavanaugh added 12 kills, and Allie Kemp (27) and Sarah Litwack (23) combined for 50 assists.

Golf
Canton, 270 @ Foxboro, 273 – Final (6 cards)Tied after four cards, and again after five, Canton prevailed on the sixth card to edge out Foxboro. Tommy Dimock earned match medalist honors, shooting a low round of 40. Thomas Singleton carded a 45 while Mike Gobbi, Mike Leonetti, and Andrew Middleton all shot 46. Conor Hunter’s 47 ended up being the difference for the Bulldogs. Charlie Baughan had the top score for Foxboro, shooting a 43. Matt Lathrop and Jon Dowling each shot 44 for the Warriors.

Franklin, 249 @ Medway, 291 – FinalFranklin earned a win over Medway, who uses six cards for final scoring. Quinten Fero was the medalist, leading the way with a low-round of 38 for the Panthers. Jake Blaney, Matt D’Errico, and Jack Paterson each shot a 40 for Franklin.

Mansfield, 161 @ North Attleboro, 155 – FinalNorth Attleboro’ Matt Wanless shot an even par round of 35 to pace the Rocketeers to an impressive win over Mansfield. Nathan Morreale had a two-over par round of 37 on the middle course at Heather Hill to lead Mansfield.
