Oliver Ames, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalOliver Ames scored twice in the first and once more in the second on its way to a 3-0 decision on the road over Mansfield. Andrew Livingstone, Jack Corey, and Brendan Teehan scored for the Tigers.

Stoughton/Brockton, 1 vs. North Quincy, 3 – Final – A pair of first period goals put North Quincy ahead and the visiting Red Raiders didn’t relinquish the lead the rest of the way. Jake McSweeney scored for the Black Knight Boxers with assists going to Garrett Sager and Zacary DeSousa while Dmytro Yakovenko played well in goal.

Girls Hockey
Canton, 4 @ Medway, 0 – Final

Franklin, 2 @ Medfield, 3 – Final (OT)Franklin scored in the third to tie the game up but Medfield pulled out the win in the extra period. Julia Flynn opened the scoring in the first period but the host Warriors potted a pair in the middle period to take a 2-1 lead. Flynn grabbed her second of the game in the third to force overtime. Lindsay Dennett, Nina Ianuzzi, Haley Wernig, and Maddie O’Brien each had an assist for the Panthers.

King Philip, 2 @ Dedham, 3 – FinalKing Philip erased a two-goal deficit to force overtime but the Marauders prevailed in overtime. Dedham staked a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals in the second period but senior Kelly Holmes and sophomore Katie McGann scored third period goals to get the Warriors back in it. Annabelle Curran and Tayla McDuff each had an assist while Kiki Lynch made 34 saves for KP.

Mansfield/Oliver Ames, 1 @ Westwood, 4 – Final Mansfield/Oliver Ames got on the board at the end of the first period to pull within a goal but Westwood scored twice in the final period to pull away. The Wolverines jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Cammy Shanteler (from Annabelle Fanjoy) lit the lamp late in the first to make it 2-1. The second period was scoreless but Westwood finished off the win in the third.

Stoughton/Sharon, 0 vs. Boston Latin Academy, 4 – Final

Wrestling
Needham Quad (Sharon) – Sharon secured a pair of wins at the Needham quad, taking victories over the host Rockets (48-34) and Northbridge (58-18) with a loss to Weymouth (45-33) sandwiched between. Ashmith Yeruva, Nick Varvak, Cyrus Jones, and Matt O’Shea went undefeated on the day for the Eagles.

Saugus Quad (Canton) – Senior Ruairi Ritson went 3-0 on the day, winning all three matches via pinfall to highlight a 1-2 day for the Bulldogs. Canton dropped its first two matches to Northeast/Bishop Fenwick (49-27) and Peabody/Saugus (61-18) but ended the day on a high note with a win over Wilmington (32-27). Max Kupferman won two matches via pinfall while Matt Murin (132), Tiernan Ritson (157), Dan Harn (175), and Owen Sasin (215) each had one pinfall win.

Marshfield Quad (Foxboro), 9:00AM

Tewksbury Quad (Franklin) – The Panthers went up against some of the top teams in the state, falling to Melrose (54-30), Shawsheen (58-15), and host Tewskbury (60-18). Jack Rosenberger had a successful day with three pins while Riley Carlucci had two pins.

North Attleboro Quad (North Attleboro), 10:00AM

Milford Quad (Milford) – Milford swept the competition at its own quad meet while Robby Lyons became the third Scarlet Hawk to earn his 100th career win this season. Lyons (126) went undefeated on his way to the milestone while Dylan Wright (106), Derek Marcolini (113), Josiah Carney (132), Mikey Boulanger (138), Aidan Baum (144), Eder Gomes (150), John Hanlon (165), Luke Donis (190), and Owen Matthews (215) also went unbeaten. Milford picked up wins over Wellesley (62-10), Algonquin (57-10), and Hopkinton (63-10).

Norwood Quad (King Philip, Mansfield), 10:00AM

Sandwich Tournament (Taunton) – With seven champions and three finalists, Taunton dominated the Cape Cod Invitational for the second straight year. The Tigers took first overall with 244 points, comfortably ahead of Boston Latin (220). Michael Leskoski (120), Landen Rodriguez (126), John Mandeville (144), William Buffington (165), Kingston Dacosta (175), Ethan Harris (190), and Elijah Prophete (215) all won their respective brackets. Harris moved to 23-0 on the season and secured his 125th career win to become the all-time wins leader in program history. Gabriel Leskoski (150), Anthony Vieira (157), and Robert Tran (285) each took second.
