Field Hockey
King Philip, 5 @ Attleboro, 1 – FinalKing Philip had a strong showing in the first half, building a 4-1 lead and never looked back in a win on the road. Alli Meehan had three goals, including two in the first half, along with an assist while Nicole Connor had three helpers in the win. Kate Lindmark and Meghan MacDonald each scored once and Abby Nixon had two assists for KP. Alex Compton scored a second half goal for the Bombardiers.

Franklin, 4 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalTaunton took a 2-0 lead in the first half but Franklin rallied for a pair of late goals to knot the game by halftime and then scored twice in the second half to beat the Tigers. Hannah Blackwell (from Alana Tavares) opened the scoring for Taunton in the third minute and Kathryn Robinson (from Jillian Pagliuca) made it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Franklin’s Victoria Quinn scored twice in the final six minutes of the first half, the first unassisted in the 27th minute and the second set up by Amanda Lewandowski in the 29th minute. In the second half, Cassi Ronan put Franklin up 3-2 on a penalty stroke and Regan Paterson (from Quinn) iced the game with a goal in the final minute. Taunton goalie Emma Sheehan had 14 saves while Franklin goalie Christina Luccini made six stops.

Volleyball
King Philip, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalKing Philip went on the road and notched a 3-0 sweep (25-7, 25-7, 25-16) over Attleboro. Catherine Waldeck (seven kills) and Nicole Coughlan (four kills) paced the Warrior offense while Livvie Atkins chipped in with four aces, three digs, and 15 service points.

Sharon, 1 @ Canton, 3 – FinalIt took four sets but Canton earned at least a share of the Davenport division title with a 3-1 (25-12, 25-15, 9-25, 25-8) win over Sharon. Canton head coach Pat Cawley said all ten of her seniors played very wel. Rose Hazam, Theresa O’Brien, and Nyah Claiborne combined for 17 kills, Ally Irons and Bella Touzos combined for 15 digs, and Bailey Shea finished with five kills and two blocks.

Stoughton, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final

Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalFranklin continued its strong season with a dominant performance on the road, beating Taunton, 3-0 (25-11, 25-77, 25-9). Peyton Arone had a team-high six kills while Ellie Wisniewski (six aces) and Emma Chase each had five kills. Lauren McGrath finished with 23 assists and four aces.

Milford, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, North Attleboro rattled off two straight wins to beat Milford, 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-13, 25-11). For the Rocketeers, Hayley Gaskin had 26 assists and Tatiana Sotelo added 10 aces and 10 kills. Sotelo rattled off a dozen straight service points in the final set to help Big Red clinch the win. North head coach Kim Hallahan said sophomore Joanna Collins-Bilyeu had a great offensive and defensive game for the Rocketeers.

Mansfield, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames continued to add to its win total sweeping Mansfield 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-15) to earn its 12th victory of the year. Sadie Homer paced OA defensively with 35 digs, Grace McCallum added 12 digs, Sarah Litwack finished with 10 assists and for aces, and Allie Kemp totaled 15 assists and three aces. For Mansfield, Olivia McGrath had seven kills, Greenly Kelly added six kills, and Abby Sullivan finished with service points

Golf
Canton, 165 @ Stoughton, 175 – FinalCanton clinched the Davenport title outright with a win on the road at Easton Country Club. Tommy Dimock earned medalist honors for the Bulldogs, shooting a low-round of 37. Chris Lavoie added a 41, Mike Gobbi shot a 43, and Ryan Nolte contributed with a round of 44. Stoughton’s Luke Bainton and Josh Hough led the Black Knights with a 41.

Franklin, 176 @ Foxboro, 175 – Final

Mansfield, 181 @ Sharon, 166 – FinalCorey Carter and Nathan Daley had strong showings as the Eagles picked up a nice win heading into Hock Championships on Thursday. Carter shot 39 and Daley shot 40 to pace Sharon while Ryan Dow had a team-low round of 42 for Mansfield.

Alex Pfeffer opened the scoring in the 7th minute, one-timing a cross from Andrew Tolfa. Five minutes later, Joe Hilf and Joey Coscarella combined at the top of the area, the latter converting his chance inside the box. Matt Mordini set up the third goal with great hustle, tracking down a ball right on the end line and finding Alvaro Martinez-Calvo at the far post. James Sales added a fourth goal on a rebound in the second half. Nolan Gerome had 21 saves in net for the Black Knights.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalOliver Ames outscored Taunton 3-1 in the second half to earn two points on the road. OA opened the scoring when Jimmy Keane found the back of the net on an assist from Brady deVos. Taunton tied the game just before the break to make it 1-1 heading into the second half. Niko Byron opened his account for the season to put OA ahead, finishing a service from Colin Milliken. Sean Flaherty (assisted by Kevin Louhis) put the visiting Tigers up 3-1 but Taunton cut the deficit to just one with 16 minutes to play. But Milliken iced the game, converting a penalty kick to make it 4-2.

Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 5 – Final

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – FinalAttleboro scored three goals in the second half to pull away from the Tigers, avenging a shutout loss to the Tigers earlier this season. The Bombardiers led 1-0 at the break before OA tied it early in the second. Anna Beck, Hannah Webster, Emelia Westwater and Emma Briggs each scored once for Attleboro.

Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – FinalLily Daly and Sophia Lowe each scored twice as the Warriors pulled away from the Scarlet Hawks in the second half. Sophia DiCenso also scored for Foxboro, which led 1-0 at half.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – FinalFranklin set the tone early, scoring twice in the opening five minutes, in a big 5-0 win over Mansfield. Victoria Quinn had both of the first two goals, the first assisted by Amanda Lewandowski just 86 seconds into the contest. Quinn made it 2-0 on assists from Ashley Reutlinger and Regan Paterson just before the five minute mark. Lewandowski (from Reutlinger) made it 3-0 at the midway point of the first half. Paterson (from Lewandowski) made it 4-0 in the 36th minute and Quinn completed the hat trick with an unassisted tally in the 39th minute. Christina Luccini made nine saves for the shutout and FHS head coach Michelle Hess said Maeve Ledwith had a fantastic game defensively and Cassi Ronan had a great game controlling the field from the center mid position.

King Philip, 4 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalKing Philip scored a pair of goals in each half to earn a shutout win on the road at Taunton. Claire Lawler scored both of KP’s first half tallies, both off assists from Alli Meehan, Lawler opened the scoring in the 7th minute and then made it 2-0 in the 10th minute. Cristina Gifun (assisted by Meehan) struck less than five minutes into the second half to make it 3-0 and Meehan capped the scoring in the 46th minute, converting a pass from Nicole Connor.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames senior Sadie Homer recorded her 1,000th career dig as the Tigers rolled to a win at home (25-16, 25-19, 25-10). Homer, who had 37 digs, is just the second player in program history to reach the 1,000-point club. Caitlin Cavanaugh had 12 kills, Jordan Bosse added 10 kills, and Grace McCallum chipped in with six aces for OA. Attleboro’s Amanda Kadisveskis had five kills, three blocks, and an ace, Chelsea Calgagni finished with 11 kills and six digs, and Jessica Matheson had 13 digs for the Bombardiers.

Mansfield, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalMansfield became just the third team to take a set against the Panthers this year, winning the second set to make it 1-1 but Franklin notched convincing wins in the next two sets to get the win (25-19, 23-25, 25-14, 25-13). For the Hornets, Greenly Kelly had nine kills and eight service points, Sam Sternberg had eight digs and eight service points, and Ashley Santos chipped in with five kills.

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalTaunton won a tight second set but King Philip didn’t let the momentum swing to the home team, taking the match 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-10, 25-13). For the Warriors, Catherine Waldeck had 15 kills and a block, Nicole Coughlan added seven kills and two blocks, Shayla Weitzman finished with eight digs and two aces.

Sharon, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, North Attleboro earned the win by taking the next two sets against Sharon (25-10, 21-25, 25-14, 25-20). Hayley Gaskin set the offense in motion with 40 assists while Tatiana Sotelo had a career-high 22 kills for the Rocketeers.

Franklin, 162 @ Stoughton, 187 – FinalFranklin was led by medalist Quentin Faro, who carded a low-round of 37. Matt D’Errico added a 39 for Franklin, and Gerard Collins and Jake Peterson each shot a 43. Stoughton was led by Josh Hough win a 42.

Sharon, 175 @ Stoughton, 187 – FinalSharon’s Corey Carter earned medalist honors, shooting a 37 to pace the Eagles to a win over Stoughton at Easton Country Club. Max Brody added a 42 for the Eagles and Nathan Daley carded a round of 45. Josh Hough led the Black Knights with a round of 42.

Oliver Ames, 158 @ Mansfield, 154 – FinalMansfield earned its biggest win of the season by upsetting visiting Oliver Ames. OA’s Nolan Donze had a medalist round of 35 but Mansfield got contributions from Nate Morreale (36), Jason See (37), Joseph Gormley (40) and Ryan Dow (41) to get the win. Thomas Walsh added a round of 39 for the Tigers and Tate Hadges and Sam Becker each shot a 42.

Milford, 173 @ Mansfield, 154 – FinalNate Morreale carded a round of 36 and Jason See shot a 37 to pace the Hornets to a win over visiting Milford. Joseph Gormley added a round of 40 while Ryan Dow chipped in with a 41.

Attleboro, 2 @ Foxboro, 8 – FinalFoxboro junior Dylan Barreira stayed red hot, scoring six goals for the second straight game to lead the Warriors to a big win at home. Barreira scored three goals in each half, giving the hosts a 3-1 edge at the break. Nic Beigel (assist) and Chris Amiable each scored once while Matt Garcia had two assists and Will Morrison had one helper.

Mansfield, 0 @ Canton, 0 – FinalBoth Canton and Mansfield had a handful of corners and long throw in chances but neither side could break the stalemate. Mansfield goalie Anthony Salisbury made a terrific one-handed diving save in the 54th minute to rob Griffin Roach of a goal from just outside the area. On the ensuing corner, Simon Cruz had a big on goal denied by defender Matt O’Donnell, who was positioned at the near post. Alejandro Correal had a strong game in net for the Bulldogs.

Franklin, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final

King Philip, 7 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalKing Philip raced out to a 3-1 lead at halftime and added four more goals in the second half to pick up two points on the road. KP scored three goals inside the first 11 minutes with sophomore Evan McEvoy (from Zac White) scoring the opening strike and assisting on Ian Zimmerman’s goal two minutes later. Tony Bozza mad 3-0 before Stoughton freshman Mateo Eschleman converted a long throw-in from Ikenna Dike to get on the board. In the second half, McEvoy (from John Cullen) and Cam Lawrence (from Bozza) scored in the first four minutes to make it 6-1. Senior Justin Willson added two more goals on assists from Gavon Fox and Andrew Thompson.

Taunton, 0 @ Milford, 4 – FinalMilford exploded for three goals in the second half to earn a convincing win over visiting Taunton. Omar Lema scored his second goal in as many games just two minutes in to give the Hawks an early lead. But Milford didn’t add onto it until the second half. Jordan Borges made it 2-0 just minutes into the second half on an assist from Walisson de Oliveira. Borges then returned the favor, setting de Oliveira up to a pair of goals to give the Hawks a 4-0 win.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalSharon took a very early lead but had to come up with a late equalizer in the first half to earn a point against visiting Oliver Ames. Isaiah Stessman put the Eagles up less than two minutes in, converting a cross from Brian Higgins to make it 1-0. OA capitalized on an Eagle miscue as Jimmy Keane pounced on a loose ball and tied it for OA. The Tigers then took a lead as sophomore Colin Milliken blasted a shot from atop the 18 to give the visitors a 2-1 advantage. With five seconds left in the first half, Higgins used a nice individual effort to get by the defense and scored to make it 2-2.

Foxboro, 3 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalAttleboro took an early led but Foxboro battled back to get the advantage and earn two points. After Attleboro took a 1-0 lead, Jordyn Collins equalized for Foxboro, converting an assist from Kenzi Fraser. Freshman Kailee McCabe scored on a penalty kick midway through the first half, and then scored again in the second half on a pass from Lizzy Davis.

Canton, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – FinalMaria Sevastos scored twice and assisted on another as Mansfield stayed unbeaten with a four-goal flurry in the first half against Canton. Steph Kemp and Cassidy McMahon each scored goals for the Hornets and McMahon added an assist as well. Emily Vigeant assisted on a pair of goals in the win.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalStella Regan had a pair of goals in the first half, assisted by Calen Frongillo and Hailey Toolin, to lead the Panthers to a big cross-over win. Breanna Atwood made eight saves to preserve the clean sheet for Franklin. Emma Noreck made six saves for the Rocketeers.

Sharon, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalSenior Samantha Gilgan, junior Lauren Picanzi, and senior Daniella Ferrini each scored as Oliver Ames notched a win at home over Sharon.

Stoughton, 1 @ King Philip, 8 – FinalCara Perry scored for the Black Knights, finding the back of the net off a cross by Mackenzie Manning.

Mike Gobbi and Mike Leonetti each shot 37 while Thomas Singleton carded a 38. Josh Hough led Stoughton with a 42 and Luke Bainton shot 44.

Mansfield, 174 @ Franklin, 166 – FinalFranklin notched its second straight win over a division foe, this time knocking off Mansfield at Franklin Country Club. Quinten Faro was the match medalist after carding a low round of 38. Jack Paterson added a 40 for the Panthers while Ryan Dow led Mansfield with a round of 40.

Milford, 181 @ Sharon, 161 – FinalEthan Skelly earned medalist honors after shooting a 37 at the Cape Club of Sharon, leading the Eagles to a win over Milford. Andrew Glaser and Nathan Daley each shot 41 for Sharon while Corey Carter carded a round of 42. Riley Lynch led Milford with a 39.
