#12 King Philip, 48 @ #5 Newton North, 70 – Final – King Philip senior Alex Fritz hit a three early in the second half to put the Warriors ahead 31-29 and put Newton North on upset alert, but the Tigers responded with a 14-0 run and never looked back. Andrew McKinney scored eight of his nine points in the first half and Tommy Donahue had six of his eight between the first two quarters as the Warriors trailed by just two, 27-25, at halftime. Fritz, who scored a team-high 26 points, put the Warriors up early in the second half before the Tigers hit that run, taking a 55-40 lead after three quarters.
