#35 Doherty, 0 @ #30 Taunton, 3 – Final – Taunton opened its tournament run with a clean sweep over visiting Doherty, 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-19). The Tigers had a well-rounded attack led by Aislinn Campbell (seven kills, two aces, one block), Hayley Krockta (six kills, three blocks), and Mikayla Cleary (five kills, one block, one ace). Anna Abouzeid dished out 14 assists to along with four aces and Emily Machado played well defensively with 12 digs and added a pair of aces. Taunton advances to face No. 3 seed North Andover on Saturday at 4:30.
