1. Franklin17-3Franklin closed out the regular season with a win against New Hampshire power Bishop Guertin and has momentum heading into the D1 tournament. Two years removed from a trip to the state final, the Panthers will have a tough path but remain a favorite.
2. Foxboro16-2With an experienced lineup, the Warriors did what was expected in the regular season, winning another league title and earning one of the top seeds in D3. Last year, the D3 tournament was ultra competitive and Foxboro should be primed for another long, tough tourney run.
3. King Philip12-6KP dropped its regular season finale by one against a strong Dover-Sherborn team but the Warriors should continue to be a tough out in the tournament. Last year, KP went on the road to beat perennial power Needham and should carry that confidence into next week.
4. Canton9-8Canton kept battling back in the regular season finale against Feehan, getting within one late in the second half, but the Shamrocks pulled out the win. The Bulldogs can use that as good prep for the level of competition that they'll face in the D2 tournament.
5. Attleboro 12-6Attleboro closed out a historic regular season with wins over Sharon and North. The Bombardiers set a program record for wins and clinched their first berth in the state tournament. Attleboro's latest power ranking was in the 40s but that could be a blessing with a winnable play-in matchup.

On the edge: Mansfield (10-8)
