Boys Basketball Franklin, 79 vs. Brookline (@ Babson), 76 – Final (2OT) – Chris Rodgers was named tournament MVP after scoring 28 and grabbing 10 rebounds. Sophomore Tim Prunier added 19 points for Franklin and junior Dylan Reno scored 14 points and had a late steal and bucket that helped to force overtime. Mansfield, 88 vs. Lawrence, 56 – Final - Ryan Boulter scored a game-high 27 points and Rocky DeAndrade added a double-double with 19 points and 12 dimes. North Attleboro, 43 vs. Bishop Feehan, 76 – Final – Liam O’Donnell led the Rocketeers with 12 points and Ben Gardner chipped in with 10 points. Oliver Ames, 62 vs. Marshfield, 60 – Final – Oliver Ames won their fifth straight game and qualified for the state tournament behind 31 points from junior Ryan Carney and 10 points from senior Emanuel Simeon. Sharon, 48 vs. Braintree (Davenport Classic), 67 – Final – Jimmy Fritzson scored 25 points in the loss for the Eagles. Stoughton, 53 @ Walpole, 78 – Final Girls Basketball Foxboro, 62 vs. Hampshire, 37 – Final – Jamie Ballou led the Warriors with 12 points and Kiersten Warner and Katherine Tamulionis each scored nine. Foxboro qualifies for the state tournament with the win and will play Hopkinton in the finals of the Warrior Classic. Mansfield, 43 vs. Abington, 47 – Final – Caroline Maher scored 10 points and Hannah MacKillop added nine points for the Hornets. Abington had a 24-4 free throw attempt advantage in the game. North Attleboro, 51 vs. Oliver Ames, 47 (@ BSU) – Final - Ashley Ahern scored half of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter, including a three-pointer to give North a two point lead with 22 seconds left. Melissa Beaupre added 16 points for the Rocketeers while Michaela Lievi scored 19 points for OA and Meg Hurley dropped 17 points for the Tigers. Canton, 52 @ Fairhaven, 33 – Final – Canton senior Sam Larson scored his 1,000th career point in the third quarter.
Milford, 66 @ Falmouth, 77 – Final – Jordan Johnson scored a team-high 20 points for the Scarlet Hawks, Matt Grose added 15 points and Chris Brown finished with 14 points.
Franklin, 61 vs. Belmont, 50 – Final – Senior Chris Rodgers led the Panthers with 22 points and seven rebounds, senior Pat O’Reilly added 11 points and 8 boards and junior Marcus Giese had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Panthers will play Brookline at 3:00 on Monday at Babson in the Comcast Tournament Finals.
Oliver Ames, 85 vs. Barnstable, 53 (@ Bridgewater State) – Final – Junior Ryan Carney scored a game-high 30 points, junior Brendan Welch added 14 points and senior Emanuel Simeon chipped in with 10 points.
Sharon, 96 vs. Natick, 73 – Final – Brian Mukasa paced the Eagles with 25 points, Jimmy Fritzson added 19 points and sophomore Jordan Mello-Klein added in 18 points. Earl Dessaure dropped 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Stoughton, 58 vs. Boston Latin, 38 – Final – Sophomore Brandon Teixeira led the Black Knights with 13 points.
Girls Basketball
North Attleboro, 32 vs. Duxbury, 42 – Final – Ali McHugh and Danielle Perron each had a team-high seven points for the Rocketeers.
Oliver Ames, 37 vs. Brockton, 63 – Final – Meg Hurley scored a team-high 15 points in the loss for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 9 @ Apponequet, 3 – Final - Mark Sheehan scored a hat trick, Eoin Doherty scored two goals and Ben Litwack, Girro Brancaccio, Adam Potter and Jon Lessa all scored once.
Milford, 9 vs. Bellingham, 2 – Final – Seniors Matt Nilan and Brad White each recorded a hat trick and picked up one assist, senior Jared Balzarini scored one goal and added 2 helpers and Nick Mobilia scored first goal of the year. The Scarlet Hawks outshot Bellingham 40-19.

Foxboro, 6 @ East Boston, 1 – Final – Foxboro qualifies for the postseason with the win. Liam Lynch scored twice and Kyle Sperzel, Mike Carresi, Tim Luciano and Peter Smith all scored once for the Warriors.
Franklin, 4 vs. Bridgewater-Raynham, 2 – Final – Juniors Ryan Spillane and Joe Bourque each scored twice as the Panthers beat the Trojans.

Girls Basketball
Taunton, 21 @ Sharon, 52 – Final – Sharon clinches the Davenport title outright and claims a league title for the first time since 1977. Karlie O’Driscoll led the Eagles with 17 points and Lily Abarbanel and Alyssa Piazza both chipped in with eight points.

Track
Stoughton High boys indoor track finished 5th overall at the D3 Championships. David Lockhart finished 2nd in the 600m, Kevin McDonald came in 2nd in the high jump, Lennox Green came in 3rd in the long jump and Kevin Lucas finished 3rd in the shot put. All four will advance to the All-State meet.
Swimming
After setting a meet record last week at sectionals, Milford’s Maddy Garber won the 100-yard breast stroke at the state finals with a time of 1:03.63. Her time was a personal best, 1.3 seconds quicker than her sectional time. She will be swimming at Central Connecticut State in the Fall, a Division 1 program.
