Franklin, 5 @ Attleboro, 6 - Final – Trailing 5-0, Attleboro scored two runs in the sixth inning and then four runs in the seventh inning to rally for a walk off win over Franklin. Matt Elliot led off the sixth inning with a double and Ryan Bowen launched a two-run home run to make it 5-2. In the sixth inning, Brandon Clark connected for a one out single and hit batter and a walk loaded the bases. Bowen picked up his third and fourth RBIs of the day with a two-RBI single. Another walk loaded the bases before Nate Tellier picked up his third hit of the day with an RBI single. Patrick Dunn’s RBI single won the game for the Bombardiers. Franklin’s Zane Byrne tossed 6.1 innings with four strikes and one walk for a no decision. Nick Santucci had an RBI and a stolen base and Nick Burgos had two runs and an RBI for Franklin.
Canton, 7 @ Milford, 13 - Final
Foxboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 7 - Final – Alex Geba picked up the win on the mound, tossing six innings for the Tigers and had two RBI at the plate. Mike Ferrara and Chris Romero each had two doubles for Oliver Ames.
Mansfield, 1 @ King Philip, 2 - Final – John Harvey tossed a complete game for the win, allowing an unearned run with three strike outs and didn’t issue a walk. In the second inning, Eric Cote reached first and stole second before scoring on an RBI single from Nick Gamble. In the seventh inning with two outs, Stephen Beattie and Owen Galvin registered back to back singles before Michael Murray made it three straight hits to score Beattie for the winning run.
Taunton, 5 @ North Attleboro, 0 - Final – Jared Jorge pitched a complete game shutout, surrendering just six hits and four strikeouts. Jorge also pitched in at the plate with two hits and a run scored, Casey Grady had two hits, an RBI and a run scored and catcher Zach Bowden had a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
Stoughton, 9 @ Sharon, 1 - Final – Sam Werman dominated on the mound, tossing six strong innings, giving up five hits without an earned run and struck out eight batters. Zack Gibb was perfect at the plate, going 4-4 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBI, Jovani Pires was 3-5 with a triple, three runs scored and two RBI. Senior Michael Gallagher was 1-3 with a sacrifice bunt and three RBI for Stoughton.
Softball
Franklin, 22 @ Attleboro, 0 - Final (5 innings) – Lilly Criscione surrendered just one hit in the circle for the Panthers, striking out eight batters. Brie Flaherty (3-5, home run, six RBI) and Sabrina LoMonaco (4-4, two-run home run, four RBI) led the charge offensively and Alicia Donovan (4-4, RBI) and Julia Arms (2-2) chipped in as well.
Milford, 6 @ Canton, 1 - Final – Freshman Maggie Farrell tossed her first career no-hitter in a complete game effort with six strikeouts and one earned run. Sydney Pounds was 2-4 with a double and two stolen bases, Sam Bonvino was 1-3 with a triple, Allie Piergustavo was 2-4 with a double, Giovanna Arcudi went 1-3 with a stolen base and Kaitlyn DeCapua was 1-3 with a two RBI double.
Oliver Ames, 7 @ Foxboro, 4 - Final - Mattea Sarnecki picked up the win in the circle for the Tigers, throwing four innings and scattering four hits with just one earned run. Victoria Ziner was 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored, Nicole Cosgrove was 3-4 with an RBI, Emily Lynch knocked in two runs and scored a run herself and Missy Krim was 2-5 with an RBI and a stolen base.
King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 - Final – Mansfield’s Maddie Letendre struck out nine and allowed just three hits but KP took advantage and scored on an error in the fourth and sixth inning. KP’s Christa Wagner hit a solo home run in the seventh inning before Kali Magane was able to get a strikeout with Mansfield threatening with a runner on third.
Taunton, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 - Final (8 innings) – Another game, another epic battle between North Attleboro and Taunton. The Tigers scored the winning runs in the top of the eighth as Giovanna Diminico and Meghan Navarro reached on back-to-back infield hits. A ground out advanced both runs and then both Diminico and Navarro scored after 8th grader Kya Enos hit a ball to deep short that was tough to field. Jesse Aleixo picked up the win with a complete game, avoiding two base runners in the second with three of her seven strikeouts. Meg Colleran retired 21 straight batters in between a first inning hit and the hits in the eighth inning and struck out seven and didn’t issue a walk.
Sharon, 3 @ Stoughton, 1 - Final – Senior shortstop Jenna Kubiak singled in the second inning and scored on a single by junior Katie Friedman. The Eagles tacked on two more runs in the top of the seventh and played their best defensive game of the season according to Sharon head coach Deb Parker. Stoughton’s Emily Cramer went 3-3 while Danielle Tesler, Shannon Flaherty, Courtney Campbell and Gina McGaughey each singled.

Canton, 0 vs. Cohasset 14 - Final
Foxboro, 3 @ Sharon, 9 - Final – Captain Andrius Bernotas played shutdown defense and Josh Ader made 12 saves in goal for the Eagles. Craig Titus scored a hat trick and Mark Bloom scored two goals and had two assists.
Franklin, 17 @ North Attleboro, 9 - Final
King Philip, 17 @ Mansfield, 6 - Final – Johnny Piatelli notched a game-high six goals and added an assist, Brandon King had three goals on four shots and an assist, Brett McEvoy had a pair of goals and assists and Chris White scored twice and had a team-high four assists. Sophomores Mike Riggs and Wes Narewski both played well defensively and freshman goalie Paul Macrina made 10 saves in net.

Sharon, 1 @ Foxboro, 13 - Final – Katie Notarangelo and Genne Rogan both scored four goals for the Warriors, Morgan Ames scored twice and MaryBeth Sweeney, Chloe Hurley and Ally Curran each scored once.
North Attleboro, 3 @ Franklin, 19 - Final – Tracy Pisani had a big game for the Panthers with two draws, five ground balls and two forced turnovers. Lauren Altobelli netted her first goal of the year and both Bailey Knous and Kendall Reardon scored a goal and had an assist. Alex Mitchell made eight saves in net for Franklin.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Taunton, 1 - Final - Anthony Rinaldi (North Attleboro) won 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 at first singles, Kumail Alikhan (North Attleboro) won 6-4, 7-5 at second singles and Mitchell Dyer (North Attleboro) won 6-4, 6-0 at third singles. Jon Garcia and Dave Manning (Taunton) won 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (7-3) at first doubles
and Jeff Yao and Zachary Pfeffer (North Attleboro) won 6-1, 6-3 at second doubles.
Stoughton, 1 @ Sharon, 4 - Final – Sophomore Adam Dobbin (Sharon) won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles, Zack Monahan (Stoughton) won 6-4, 6-2 at second singles and Richard Shen (Sharon) won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. The Eagles swept in doubles play as well.

The team of Morgan Milener and Sophia Jaberi (Foxboro) won 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 at first doubles and Reese Martignetti and Michaela McCarthy (Foxboro) won 6-2, 6-1 at second doubles.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 - Final – Kelly O’Neil (North Attleboro) won 6-3, 6-1 at first singles, Julia Mark (North Attleboro) won 6-3, 6-2 at second singles and Allie Grinavic (North Attleboro) won 6-2, 7-5 at third singles. The team of Ali McHugh and Alyssa Muise (North Attleboro) won 6-0, 6-4 at first doubles and the team of Joyce Chen and Kaela Dunn (North Attleboro) won 6-3, 6-4 at second doubles.
