North Attleboro junior Nathaniel Robin has been selected as the HockomockSports.com Player of the Week, presented by Morse Insurance, for Oct. 11 through Oct. 17. Robin is the sixth athlete chosen as Player of the Week for the 2026-27 school year.
Robin rushed 18 times for 246 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the Rocketeers to a thrilling, one-point road win over division rival Mansfield. He also played safety on every defensive snap and made two big plays with his arm on the go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.
“He’s a gamer,” North Attleboro head coach Mike Strachan said of Robin. “He’s a grinder. He’s a leader. He’s our heart and our energy, and it’s a phenomenal high school football game he just played.”
Robin gave North its first lead in the second quarter when he patiently waited for his blockers and broke away for an 82-yard score. On the fifth play of North’s first drive in the second half, Robin again found a seam, this time for a 59-yard TD that put the Rocketeers ahead 21-14.
In the fourth quarter, Robin made two of the biggest plays of the night as part of a 13-play, 72-yard drive that regained the lead for North. After holding calls backed North up to third and 19, Robin hit Joseph Ruggiero for 31 yards. On fourth and four from the Mansfield 25, Robin again went to the air, this time connecting with Ryan Gustafson for seven yards. North faced fourth down, this time at the Hornets 13, and Robin rolled out to hit Milo House at the goal line to go back in front with less than six minutes to play.
