HockomockSports.com Boys All Star Game Team Lanigan

TeamLanigan, coached by Canton boys JV coach Paul Seaver, emerged victorious, 102-96, in the first annual HockomockSports.com Charity Basketball Event. 

Mansfield’s Rocky DeAndrade was named the game’s Most Valuable Player with 22 points and six rebounds, including a game-high 8 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of three pointers.

The team was comprised of (based on order of the picture, back row first, from left to right) Mansfield’s Michael Boen (13 points, 7 rebounds), Mansfield’s Rocky DeAndrade (22 points, 6 rebounds), Canton’s Sam Larson (10 points), Sharon’s Jimmy Fritzson (10 points), Franklin’s Marcus Giese (10 points, 14 rebounds), King Philip’s Jimmy Layman (7 points, 10 rebounds), Foxboro’s Cam Seeley (8 points 10 rebounds), Milford’s Jordan Johnson (8 points), Sharon’s Jordan Mello-Klein (6 points) and Taunton’s Corey Green (8 points).

HockomockSports.com Boys All Star Game: Team Perry

TeamPerry, coached by Franklin boys freshman coach Mike Masto, fell short, 102-96, in the first annual HockomockSports.com Charity Basketball Event. 

The team was comprised of (based on order of the picture, back row first, from left to right) Mansfield’s Kyle Wisnieski, Canton’s Matt Kelley (6 points), Attleboro’s Tim Walsh (15 points), Stoughton’s Joey Wilder (2 points, 5 rebounds), Oliver Ames’ Ryan Carney (11 points, 6 rebounds), Mansfield’s Ryan Boulter (11 points), Franklin’s Chris Rodgers (15 points, 5 rebounds), Attleboro’s EJ Santarpio (15 points, 8 rebounds), Sharon’s Brian Mukasa (10 points, 5 rebounds) and Taunton’s Gerald Cortijo (11 points).

HockomockSports.com Boys Three Point Champion

Attleboro senior Tim Walsh was crowned the first ever HockomockSports.com Boys 3PT Champion on Thursday night at Mansfield High School.

In the opening round, Walsh connected on 16 of his 25 shots, the most of any of the 12 boys in the round. He advanced to the finals along with Canton’s Matt Kelley, who hit 13 shots in the opening round, the second most of any of the boy shooters in the event.

In the final round, the two went head to head and finished knotted 10-10, sending the three point finals into overtime. Walsh was able to just edge Kelley, hitting three of five shots from a selected spot while Kelley hit two.

HockomockSports.com Girls Three Point Champion

North Attleboro senior Jill Costello was crowned the first ever HockomockSports.com Girls 3PT Champion on Thursday night at Mansfield High School.

In the opening round, Costello knocked down 16 of her 25 shots, the second most of any of the 12 girls in the round. She advanced to the finals along with Mansfield’s Hannah MacKillop, who drained 17 shots in the opening round, the most of any of the shooters in the event – boys or girls.

In the final round, the two went head to head and did not disappoint. Costello was able to just edge MacKillop from the final corner spot, taking the crown by winning 16-15 in the final round.

Foxboro’s Katherine Tamulionis was named the game’s Most Valuable Player with 15 points, including the game-winning bucket in the fourth quarter.

The team was comprised of (based on order of the picture, back row first, from left to right) Taunton’s Anna McDaniel (6 points, 5 rebounds), Franklin’s Lexi Martin (14 points, 6 rebounds), Foxboro’s Katherine Tamulionis (15 points), Sharon’s Lily Abarbanel (2 points), Oliver Ames’ Meg Hurley (6 points), Mansfield’s Caroline Maher (8 points), Attleboro’s Bri LaPlume (5 rebounds), Stoughton’s Ashley Medeiros (2 points), North Attleboro’s Danielle Perron (7 points) and King Philip’s Amanda Johnson (6 points).
