Oliver Ames, 146 vs. Bishop Feehan, 168 – Final – Oliver Ames opened its 2022 campaign with a win over visiting Bishop Feehan at Pine Oaks. Senior Michael McGinnis was the match medalist for the Tigers with a team-low round of 34. Senior Daniel Paul added a 36, classmate Noah Isleib added a 38, and junior David Rodgers also chipped in with a 38 for OA.
Franklin, 151 @ King Philip, 156 – Final – Franklin earned a key division win in its first match of the season, taking down rival King Philip, 151-156, at Wentworth Hills. Senior Jack Hagerty and junior CJ Steel were co-medalists for the match, each firing a 37 for the Panthers. Hagerty and sophomore Liam Lewandowski, who fired a 38, both birdied the fifth hole for Franklin, while junior Tyler O’Brien rounded out the scoring with a 39. King Philip had four golfers shoot 39 on the day.
