1. Taunton22-3Taunton won the rubber match with Franklin to claim the D1 State Championship, the program's second title in three seasons. Evan Cali had one of his best career pitching performances and Ryan MacDougall showed why he was voted league MVP.
2. Franklin23-4There was a lot of hype for the Panthers coming into the season and Franklin lived up to it, taking the Kelley-Rex division title and reaching the Division 1 State Championship. Seniors Jacob Jette, Ethan Voellmicke, and James Kuczmiec were three of the best arms around over the past two seasons.
3. King Philip16-9King Philip came up just short in its quest for the Division 2 title, falling to Milton. The Warriors had an explosive offense, led by senior Shawn Legere, but have a strong core returning to make another run next year. KP's fourth-place finish shows how deep the Kelley-Rex was this year.
4. North Attleboro18-6North's great season came to a close in the state semis to eventual champ Milton. The Rocketeers had a ton of talent this year and every game it seemed it was someone different making the big play. North graduates a very talented senior class, too.
5. Mansfield17-8A trip to the state semis would likely be good for the top spot in most leagues but the Hock was loaded this year, and the Hornets competed with the best of them. It was a thrilling postseason with two one-run wins. Mansfield is another squad graduating a talented bunch.

On the edge: Foxboro (16-8)
