1. Mansfield15-1In a year without playoffs, these rankings finish as close to 1A and 1B as Mansfield and Taunton split the season series and the Kelley-Rex title. Tiebreaker goes to the Hornets for it being their ninth straight league title. We say every year the Hornets start at the top until someone knocks them off; the Tigers nearly did but shared the throne. Senior Matt Boen had one of the most impressive single seasons we can remember.
2. Taunton9-1The Tigers could easily be in the top spot after splitting the season series and the division title with Mansfield. It was a strange year for all, but even more so for Taunton, who missed three full weeks. As someone pointed out on Twitter, just imagine the atmosphere for a Mansfield/Taunton D1 South Final, which would have been very likely with how good those two teams were.
3. Franklin6-5Franklin had an up-and-down year but seemed to be figuring it all out as the season came to a close. The Panthers lose some talented seniors but their sub-varsity teams were strong as usual and Franklin will be right back in the mix again next season.
4. Attleboro10-6The Bombardiers didn't have the best finish to the season with three straight losses but this team was competitive in just about every single contest this year. After graduating a very talented group last year, there were a lot of questions going into this season but Attleboro emerged as the surprise team of the year. Justin Daniels put together a special senior season.
5. Oliver Ames9-1Every single game in the Davenport is a grind and Oliver Ames emerged as the division championship following some gutsy wins down the stretch. The Tigers played great defense throughout the year, hit timely shots, rebounded well, and had a star leading the way in senior Amari Brown.

On the edge: North Attleboro (8-3)
