King Philip15-1-1The Warriors had back-to-back shutouts this week over Mansfield and Oliver Ames and King Philip moves into a tie with Foxboro for the top defensive team in the league this season, while also scoring a league-high 77 goals. KP will close out the regular season at Algonquin on Friday.
2. Foxboro15-1-1Foxboro sealed its second league title in three seasons with a convincing win against North Attleboro on Wednesday. The Warriors are tied with King Philip for the league's best defense and have scored 65 goals this year, which is second best in the Hock. Foxboro hosts Mansfield on Friday.
3. Canton13-3-1Maggie Malloy was on target again for the Bulldogs on Wednesday to help Canton beat Milford. The Bulldogs will travel to Attleboro on Friday to wrap up the regular season and get prepared to try and make another deep run in the D1 South tournament.
4. Franklin10-5-2Franklin closed the season with a four-game win streak, including victories over Oliver Ames and Attleboro, and the Panthers also played the league's top teams tough, earning a point against Foxboro and losing by one to King Philip. Franklin will hope to carry that momentum into the playoffs.
5. Mansfield9-5-2The Hornets ran into a tough stretch with shutout losses to Franklin, Oliver Ames and King Philip sandwiched around a win against Attleboro. Mansfield has two more games left in the regular season to get on track before the playoffs, facing Taunton and then Foxboro.
