1. Franklin20-3The Panthers rolled through another perfect league campaign and again proved themselves one of the top programs, but were knocked out again by Concord-Carlisle in the East semi. With All-Americans Gianna Cameron and Erin Walsh back Franklin remains a team to beat.
2. Foxboro16-8Foxboro had the goal of winning a sectional title in its sights from long before the season started and the Warriors completed their quest with a late rally against Medway in the East final. There are 14 seniors graduating but Foxboro will still have a lot of familiar faces when it attempts to repeat.
3. King Philip12-8The Warriors lost only two games in the league this season, to the top two teams in these rankings, and added an impressive win against Newton North in the playoffs before being knocked out by sectional champ Walpole in the quarterfinal.
4. Mansfield11-8The Hornets were one of the top scoring teams in the league this season, led by senior Katy Garvin, but only two teams in the Hock allowed more goals. Mansfield won its share of shootouts to get into the playoffs but ran into finalist Concord-Carlisle.
5. Sharon12-9Emma Eberhardt became the first player in program history to score 100 goals in a single season, as she led the Eagles to second place in the Davenport and a return to the playoffs. Sharon will need several players to step up and try and fill her shoes next spring.
