1. Mansfield8-1Although the Hornets dropped a crossover match against OA to end last week, Mansfield remains the team to beat when they are at full strength. That looks to be the case going into next week when they go head-to-head with Franklin for the Kelley-Rex title.
2. Canton8-0Canton continues to roll along, a new golfer stepping up each match it seems to earn medalist honors. This week it was Conor Hunter with an even par round and Will Gefteas carding a one-over round. The Bulldogs have a chance to wrap up another Davenport title but face stiff competition in Oliver Ames.
3. Franklin8-0The Panthers put themselves in prime position heading into the final week of division matches. A pair of wins over Taunton pushed Franklin to 8-0 meaning the division title will come down to the final two matches this week against #1 Mansfield. Franklin has home course advantage in the first match, whoever wins that claims at least a share of the title.
4. Oliver Ames7-1OA picked up its biggest win of the season, upending previously unbeaten Mansfield at Pine Oaks to finish last week, and then went on to beat Sharon twice this week to keep their division title hopes alive. After a rematch with the Hornets, the Tigers take on Canton with the Davenport title hanging in the balance.
5. Foxboro5-3The Warriors have won three straight and five out of their last six matches, earning a sweep over Stoughton this past week. Foxboro faces a good test this week with a home-and-home against North, each side looking to pick up momentum heading into the championship meet.

On the edge: King Philip (4-4)
