1. Taunton21-4The Tigers scored 276 runs this season, powering their way to a second straight D1 state title. With some talented players returning including impact freshmen Cate Larson and Brooke Aldrich, Taunton will have eyes on a three-peat.
2. King Philip22-3KP had its chances in the Elite Eight against Methuen, but the Kelley-Rex champs couldn't get the big hit to keep its title run alive. With several key players returning, KP should be a team to beat in D1 once again next spring.
3. North Attleboro17-7The Rocketeers won the Davenport title and reached their first state semifinal, nearly securing a spot in the title game. North moves to a loaded Kelley-Rex next season but with Kelly Colleran and Zoey McDonough should have some of the best pitching in the league.
4. Attleboro15-7Attleboro is another team that was just a couple of clutch hits away from beating Methuen in the tournament. With players like Riley Camacho and Lily Routhier coming back next year, Attleboro will be yet another strong Kelley-Rex contender in 2023.
5. Foxboro 12-10The Warriors were one tough inning away from a spot in the D3 Elite Eight. In a revamped Davenport next spring, Foxboro's young pitchers Vittoria Cuscia and Emma Callahan could give them a leg up in the division title race.

On the edge: Franklin (11-10)
