Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 4 – FinalFour Franklin pitchers combined to toss a one-hit shutout as the Panthers closed the regular season with their 13th win of the year. Jacob Jette, Alfred Mucciarone (win), Ethan Voellmicke, and James Kuczmiec didn’t allow any runs with just one hit allowed. Ben Jarosz clubbed three hits to lead the Panthers’ offense, scoring twice. Jack Marino added two hits and three RBI and Eisig Chin drove in a run.

Softball
Franklin, 3 @ Attleboro, 11 – FinalAttleboro bounced back with a big offensive outing to split the season series with Franklin. The Bombardiers got off to a good start with two runs in the first, adding four runs in each the second and the fourth before scoring once more in the sixth. Hailey Perry led the charge for the hosts with four hits, including two doubles, and three RBI, while Riley Camacho (double, four RBI) and Lora Woyton (double, triple, four RBI) each clubbed three hits for Attleboro, which had 17 total hits. Lauren Eby, Natalie Mansur, and Brenna Morse each added two hits in the win. Woyton earned her fourth win of the season, striking out eight in a complete game effort. For Franklin, Gabby Colace and Molly Collins (triple) each had a pair of hits while Carly Johnson-Pellegri drive in two runs.

Taunton, 17 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – FinalTaunton senior Tasia Lajoie scored a season-high eight goals to help the visiting Tigers close the regular season with a win over Oliver Ames. Alana Tavares added seven goals and four helpers in the win while freshman Cali Melo scored once and had one assist. Emily Gannon made 10 saves in net to earn the win.

Boys Tennis
Foxboro, 1 @ Canton, 4 – FinalCanton defended home court with a singles sweep, tacking on another win in doubles to take down visiting Foxboro. Suraj Ramanathan won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles, Max Kupferman rallied for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles and Ethan Nguyen emerged in a 10-point third set tiebreaker with a win. Kevin Moltenbrey and Charlie Doody added a win at second doubles for the Bulldogs.

Franklin, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalTaking three wins from singles and one more in doubles action, Franklin knocked off Attleboro and finished the regular season at 14-0. All four matches were won in straight sets with Liam Marr (first singles), Vayshnav Malhotra (second), Drew Mahoney (third), and the team of Thomas Broyles and Jay Gorgas (second doubles) all winning 6-0, 6-1. First doubles was not finished due to rain.

Canton, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalBehind a sweep of both doubles matches and a win at third singles, Oliver Ames knocked off visiting Canton. Sophomore Lizzie MacAdam put OA on the board with a 6-2, 6-4 win at third singles, the team of Elizabeth O’Brien and Mae Holmes scored a 6-2, 6-3 win at second doubles for OA’s second point, and the Tigers clinched the win behind a 6-4, 6-4 victory by Caroline Peper and Morgan Vasiliou at first doubles. Canton’s Rachel Kupferman was impressive in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles and Laura Correal secured a 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 win at second singles for the Bulldogs.

Sharon, 5 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalSharon finished the regular season with a win, sweeping North Attleboro on the road. Navya Shukla took a 6-4, 6-0 win at first singles, Hannah Faberman added a 6-3, 6-2 win at second singles, and Allie Aguilar won the first set 6-2 and took the match on a default. In doubles action, Anjali Jha and Julia Zelevinski battled to a 6-0, 6-4 win at first doubles, and the team of Sree Dandu and Sasha Fein grabbed a 6-3, 6-1 win at second doubles.

Taunton, 37 @ King Philip, 30 – FinalTaunton earned its fifth win of the season, knocking off King Philip in the regular season finale. Taunton’s Ben Mandeville (138, 3:44) and Christian Balmain (160, 3:15) each won by pin while Johnnie Mainer-Smith (106, 7-1), James Collins (113), Brandon Mendes (126, 12-1), Alex Pires-Fortes (182, 7-5), and Logan Frank (195, 8-6) all won by decision for the Tigers. King Philip picked up wins from Sam DeBaggis (132, 3-1), Colby Cloutier (145, 11-6), William Conniff (152, 3:26), Cole Ricci (170, 3:55), Hunter Hastings (220, 1:15) and Yousef Lotfi (285, 1:57).

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 7 @ Canton, 12 – FinalCanton increased its lead throughout the game and pulled away from Oliver Ames to clinch a share of the Davenport division title. Tied 1-1 after the first quarter, the Bulldogs built a 5-3 lead by halftime and pushed it to 9-6 after three quarters of action. For OA, sophomore Ben Reardon paced the offense with four goals while junior Wyatt Fritchman added a pair of goals and an assist. Sophomore Noah Isleib made 19 saves in the cage while Brendan Cross, Michael Branagan, Drew Nickla, and Landon Grothe played well defensively for the Tigers.

Franklin, 15 @ Billerica, 7 – FinalFranklin used a stellar defensive performance to pass one of its toughest tests of the season, allowing just two goals in the second half to secure a win on the road over Billerica. The Panthers pumped in five goals in the opening quarter and staked a 9-5 advantage at halftime. Jack Maguire had a strong game in net while Zach Harvey, Kyle Palmieri, and Ben Harvey all played well on close defense. Sophomore Luke Davis led the offense with eight points, scoring five goals to go along with three assists. Senior Matt Lazzaro added four goals and three assists while sophomore Jayden Consigli registered six assists in the win.

Girls Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 14 @ Canton, 13 – Final (OT)Oliver Ames senior Emma Pereira won the draw to start overtime and set up Catie Wilson for the game-winning goal nine seconds into overtime as the Tigers grabbed an overtime win on the road. Pereira and Hailey Bourne paced the offense for the Tigers while Georgia Costello was also a big factor in draw controls for OA. Taylor McAndrew had a big day defensively with five pass interceptions. Jess Widdop was one of the stars of the game for the Tigers, shining in net by making key saves throughout the contest.

Milford, 9 @ Taunton, 15 – FinalTaunton senior Alana Tavares had a hand in 11 of the Tigers’ goals and Tasia Lajoie was involved in six to help the hosts split the season series against visiting Milford. Tavares scored a team-high eight goals and added three assists while Lajoie found the back of the net five times with one helper. Freshmen Cali Melo and Jillian Emond each scored once in the win, senior Rosemary McGrath added an assist and junior Emily Gannon turned away 10 shots.

Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 3 vs. Durfee, 0 – FinalTaunton defended home court with a 3-0 sweep (25-16, 25-11, 25-16) to clinch the South Alliance League championship, finishing the regular season at 16-1. Senior Tyler Stewart registered 10 kills and seven blocks, Mattia Casagrande added nine kills and a pair of aces, Faisal Mass chipped in with four kills, and Jakob Thorpe had three kills, two aces, and a block to round out a well-balanced attack. Daniel Medina (two blocks) had 15 assists in the win while Travis Nunes anchored the defensive side of the ball.

The Panthers scored 10 times in the first quarter, jumping out to a 10-1 lead, and never looked back, remaining unbeaten and moving a step closer to another league title. Kaitlyn Carney led the way for the league leaders, scoring four goals. Katie Jones (two assists) and Stella Regan (three assists) both recorded hat tricks and Kenzie Baker tallied twice. Katie Peterson, Kate O’Rourke, Ali Socci, Katherine Ryan, Lindsay Atkinson, Anna Grasso, Payten Crandall, and Maura Cogavin each scored once for the Panthers. Alana Tavares scored twice and Anastasia Lajoie scored once for Taunton and Emily Gannon was busy in goal, making double-digit saves.

Sharon, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 15 – FinalOA got back to .500 in league play with a dominant win over visiting Sharon. Emma Pereira scored four goals to spark the OA offense. Reese Pereira and Georgia Costello helped the Tigers control the draw and win extra possessions for the Tigers. Emma O’Donnell was strong in the cage for OA, allowing only one goal in the second half.

Milford, 6 @ King Philip, 17 – FinalKP had four players record five points and extended its win streak to three games. Julia Marsden and Haley Izydorczak each scored five goals for the Warriors, while Morgan Cunningham had three goals and two assists and Lilly Brown had two goals and three assists.

Baseball
Canton, 6 @ North Attleboro, 7 – FinalBoth teams took a turn erasing a deficit but it was the Rocketeers who walked off with a key division win to move into a three-way tie atop the Davenport. Canton built a 4-0 lead early but North responded with five runs in the bottom of the third to go ahead. Holding a 6-4 lead going into the final inning, the Bulldogs tacked on two runs to tie things up. In the bottom of the seventh, Gavin Wells led off with a single, stole second base, and then scored on a single to right field from Tyler Bannon, his third hit of the game. Wells and sophomore Derek Maceda each had two hits while Hartnett earned the win in relief for the hosts, tossing four innings with no earned runs allowed with three strikeouts. Dennis Colleran smashed a three-run home run in the third to give North the lead. Canton’s Steven Burbank tossed a complete game, allowing four earned runs on 11 hits with two strikeouts. Offensively, Matt Chafin had three hits, including a triple, and an RBO, Nico Bonnano, Andrew Middleton and Burbank each had two hits and Sawyer Julier-Albert drove in a pair of runs.

Softball
North Attleboro, 10 @ Canton, 4 – FinalNorth Attleboro sophomore Kelly Colleran got it done offensively and in the circle to help the Rocketeers sweep Canton. Colleran tossed a complete game with six strikeouts and helped her cause it three hits. Emily Nardelli had a big day at the plate with four hits, two runs, and an RBI, Chloe Mearn and Ally Levine each had two hits, Mandi Hanewich chipped in with a hit, two runs, and a stolen base, and Belle Clarkin added three RBI. For Canton, Liz Bickett (two RBI), Ellie Bohane (two runs), and Olivia Mackwell (RBI) each had a pair of hits. Freshman Jess Wright allowed just one run in three innings of work for Canton.

Brady Daylor added a goal and two assists, Ryan Zunenshine and Gabe Korn each scored once and Ben Shocket (9-of-13 faceoffs) added two assists. Adam Rabb made 22 saves in the win for Sharon. For OA, junior Wyatt Fritchman scored three goals and Remi Creighton added one more while sophomore Noah Isleib turned away 18 shots.

Franklin, 17 @ Taunton, 4 – FinalKaitlyn Carney had a strong day in the circle with five draw controls and three Panthers had five or more points in a win on the road over Taunton. Katie Peterson led the offense with four goals and three assists, Kenzie Baker added four goals and one assists, and Katie Jones scored twice and added four assists in the win. For Taunton, Alana Tavares and Tasia Lajoie each scored twice while goalie Emily Gannon made 10 saves.

King Philip, 19 @ Milford, 5 – FinalKing Philip won its second straight contest, this one with a 19-5 decision on the road over new division foe Milford. Lily McNulty netted her first career goal in the win while Alyssa Legere, Ali Donovan, Nikki McDonald, and Ally Peterson each scored once for the Warriors. Aislinn Bennett, Emily Croteau, Carly Haley, Stephanie Goulet, and Jillian Araujo each scored for Milford.

Oliver Ames, 18 @ Sharon, 10 – FinalOA put together its best offensive performance of the season to hold off Sharon and earn its second win. Jenna Goldstein scored half of Sharon’s goals, won three draw controls, and forced a turnover. Molly McAlevey added a hat trick for the Eagles, while Cass Barbera and Athena Merck each scored once. Merck added a pair of assists and Barbera and Anna Hertzel each assisted on one. Sally Brouhard grabbed three draws, Carly Romanow forced two turnovers, and Tess Letendre made 11 saves in the loss.




Boys Tennis
North Attleboro, 1 @ Canton, 4 – FinalIn a tightly contested contest at all five matches, Canton emerged with a key division win over North Attleboro. The Bulldogs swept singles action with junior Suraj Ramanathan battled to a 7-5, 6-4 win at first singles, freshman Max Kupferman captured a 6-4, 6-2 win at second singles, and senior Minh Duong prevailed in a 7-5, 7-6 (6) win at third singles. Canton also got a win in doubles with seniors Ethan Nguyen and Jalen Townsend picking up a 6-3, 6-3 win at first doubles. North Attleboro’s Brody Carter and Niteesh Saravanan rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 win at second doubles.

Girls Tennis
Canton, 2 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalNorth Attleboro earned a pair of wins in singles action and tacked on another win at second doubles to score the victory over visiting Canton. Senior Haley Strom earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles and freshman Anoushka Banerjee secured a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. The team of juniors Kyna Sha and Lauren Consentino earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory at second doubles. Canton’s Lauren Kupferman (first singles, 6-0, 6-0) and the team of Lily Hazam and Olivia Durham (first doubles, 6-4, 6-1) both won.

Taunton, 3 @ North Quincy, 2 – FinalTaunton twice erased a one-set deficit and then prevailed in the match-deciding fifth set to pick up a victory on the road at North Quincy, 3-2 (24-26, 25-16, 19-25, 25-14, 15-12). Travis Nunes had a big day at the service line and in the back row with 16 service points and 12 digs to anchor the Tigers. Tyler Stewart continued to impress at the net with 24 kills, 15 service points, 10 digs, and a pair of blocks while Jakob Thorpe (11 kills), Mattia Casagrande (nine kills), and Faisal Mass (seven kills) all played well offensively. Daniel Medina finished with 41 assists in the win.

Milford, 6 @ Canton, 8 – FinalCanton pushed across four runs in the bottom of the sixth for insurance and then held off a last inning rally from Milford to get the win. Holding a 4-3 lead going into the bottom of the sixth, Canton scored four runs to double their offensive output. Milford rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh to get within two but Nico Bonanno came in and got a strikeout for the final out to preserve the win. Sawyer Julier-Albert drove in three runs, Matt Quan had two RBI, and Steve Burbank and Jay Kelleher each had one RBI in the win.

Softball
Sharon, 1 @ King Philip, 14 – FinalJordan Bennett and Emma Sheehan combined for a one-hitter with seven strikeouts to lead the Warriors to a win at home. Junior Meg Sherwood went 2-for-2 including a home run, driving in four total runs while freshman Maddie Paschke was 3-for-3 wit a three-run home run. Sophomore Charlotte Raymond added a pair of hits, including a triple, for the Warriors. Trinity Payne hit a solo home run for the Eagles.

Canton, 8 @ Sharon, 5 – Final

King Philip, 6 @ Franklin, 14 – FinalFranklin dominated the first half to the tune of 11 goals and that was enough for the Panthers at home against visiting King Philip. Senior Matt Lazzaro and sophomore Jayden Consigli each scored four goals and added four assists to pace the Panther’s offense. Luke Davis added three goals and one helper, Joe Consigli scored once and had three assists, and Justin Abely and Cody DiMatteo both finished with one goal and one assist.

Girls Lacrosse
Franklin, 19 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalNine different Franklin players found the back of the net as the Panthers swept the season series with King Philip. Kaitlyn Carney led the way with five goals and one assist, Kate O’Rourke added three goals and one assists, and Jackie O’Neil (assist) and Stella Regan (two assists) each scored once. Head coach Kristin Guarino praised the defensive leadership of Sydney Hawkins and Ali Socci.

Taunton, 6 @ Mansfield, 10 – Final For Taunton, senior Alana Tavares scored a hat trick which including her 250th career goal.

Sharon, 3 @ Canton, 5 – FinalCanton got off to a strong start offensively and held off a late rally attempt from Sharon to get the win and stay unbeaten on the year. The Bulldogs pushed across two runs in the first inning and tacked on single runs in the second and third to establish a 4-0 lead. Sharon rallied for three runs in the top of the sixth to make it a one-run game but Canton gave itself some breathing room with a run in the bottom of the sixth. Cam Sanchez (RBI), Matt Chafin (two runs), and Steven Burbank (RBI, run) each recorded two hits for the hosts, who had 10 hits as a team. Andrew Middleton picked up his third win of the season, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks, striking out eight in six innings of work. Andrew Butler recorded the save with a scoreless inning in relief. Sharon’s Colby Lentell drove in two runs for the Eagles while Justin Brown and Daniel Zagoren each had one RBI.

Oliver Ames, 5 @ Foxboro, 7 – Final Foxboro took advantage of free bases and aggressive base running to jump out to an early lead and held on the rest of the way. The Warriors drew four walks in the opening inning and had five stolen bases, resulting in a 6-1 lead after an inning of action. Oliver Ames was able to close the gap with two in the third and one more in the fourth, but Foxboro scored an important insurance run in the sixth inning. Tom Marcucella (run, two RBI) and Sean Yoest (run, RBI) each had two hits for the Warriors while Sean O’Leary (run), Liam Mulkern, and Mike O’Toole each drove in a run. Cam Prescott got the win on the mound, allowing four runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks, striking out five in five innings of work. Senior Sebastian Ortiz closed it out, allowing one run on two hits and two walks, striking out a pair in two innings. Oliver Ames’ Jaden Ricci went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored while Patrick Finnerty and Nate Fulford each drove in a pair of runs for OA.

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 10 – Final (5 inn.)For the fourth time in just five games, Franklin’s offense put up double-digit runs and the Panthers recorded their second straight shutout, this time a 10-0 decision over King Philip. Sophomore Alfred Mucciarone tossed five shutout innings for the win, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out six. Offensively, Ryan Gerety had a pair of hits including a double, scoring twice while Jake Fitzgibbons added an RBI on two hits. Ben Jarosz had three hits on the day with a run scored and an RBI, Nate Cooke scored once and had an RBI, and Henry DiGiorgio had a hit, a walk, and scored twice.

Mansfield, 2 @ Taunton, 8 – FinalTaunton had a strong day at the plate, scoring in five of the seven innings to knock off visiting Mansfield for a key division win. The Tigers plated two runs in the first inning and added two more in each the third and fourth, tacking on single runs in the fifth and sixth. Ty Cali set the tone for the Tigers’ offense, scoring three runs on two hits (including a triple) and driving in one run from the leadoff spot. Ryan MacDougall, Danny MacDougall (two runs), and Bretton Heggs each added a hit and an RBI while Dawson Bryce drove in a pair of runs and scored once. On the mound, Conor Quinlan got the win, allowing just one unearned run on five hits and one walk, recording six strikeouts in five innings. Evan Cali pitched two innings in relief, allowing one run with one strikeout.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 7 – FinalStoughton senior Brady Conlin got it done both at the plate and on the mound as Stoughton rallied for an important division win over rival North Attleboro. North Attleboro’s Gavin Wells had a two-out two-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rocketeers up 4-1 but Stoughton answered with a big sixth inning to take their first lead, an advantage they wouldn’t relinquish. Conlin tossed a complete game, striking out five with two walks. Conlin also had a solo home run to left in the bottom of the fourth that got Stoughton on the board. In the sixth, Colin Alessi singled in the tying run while Kyle Doolin drove in two more with a double.










Softball
Milford, 0 @ Attleboro, 12 – FinalAttleboro senior Lora Woyton fired a two-hitter to earn her second win of the season in the circle, leading the Bombardiers past visiting Milford. Woyton struck out eight in five innings of work and helped her own cause offensively, going 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored.The Bombardiers used strong team defense behind Woyton to limit the Hawks’ chances. Hailey Perry and Natalie Mansur each had two hits and scored a run while Kayla Goldrick added two hits for Attleboro, who had everyone in the lineup score.

Foxboro, 7 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalFor Oliver Ames, Taylor Lake had an RBI single that scored Mollie Crabtree while Grace Simone, who had two hits on the day, had a two-run double that scored Maddie Homer and Emma Varella. Katie Melendy pitched a complete game, striking out four for OA.

Franklin, 5 @ King Philip, 8 – FinalAfter Franklin took the lead in the top of the first inning, King Philip tied the game in the bottom half and then built a lead with runs in the third, fifth, and sixth innings to knock off the visiting Panthers. Tied 2-2 through an inning, KP took the lead with a run in the third, extended their advantage with two in the fifth, and added three more in the sixth. Franklin rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh but KP shut the door to stay unbeaten. Charlotte Raymond had a big day for KP, going 3-for-3 at the plate, including a two-run home run. She finished with three RBI and three runs scored, reaching a fourth time after being hit by a pitch. Paige Berdos added two hits, a run, and an RBI while sophomore Sarah Cullen blasted a two-run home run.

Sharon, 4 @ Canton, 7 – FinalGillian Gordon earned her first career win and gave Canton its first win of the season. Gordon struck out six over seven innings of work. Taylor Reynolds was 3-for-3 with three doubles and a pair of RBI, while Ellie Bohane and Liz Bickett both went 3-for-4 for the Bulldogs. Olivia Mackwell started the scoring for Canton by driving in a pair in the fourth.

Taunton, 12 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final (5 inn.)Taunton held Mansfield to two hits to earn its fourth shutout in five games this season. It was scoreless until the third inning when Taunton scored five times to take control. The Tigers added seven runs in the top of the fifth to grab the win. Taunton leadoff hitter Angie Lynch set the tone with three hits and two runs while Hannah Aldrich drove in for runs on three hits, including a home run. Skylar Rheaume, McKenzie McAloon, Kelsey White, and Tayah DaCosta each drove in a run for the Tigers. Freshman Sam Lincoln earned the win in the circle, allowing just two hits in a five-inning complete game effort, striking out 10. Jillian Koppy and Molly Kucharski had Mansfield’s only hits.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 12 – FinalNorth got its fourth straight solid start, as Kelly Colleran struck out 12 and allowed only two hits and two walks to earn the shutout. The Rocketeers haven’t allowed more than one run in a game since giving up 11 in the season opener. Colleran helped her own cause with a pair of hits, including a solo homer. Emily Nardelli led the North offense with three hits, including a double and a three-run homer, and drove in four. Zoey McDonough and Shaelyn Burns both had two hits and two RBI and Mandi Hanewich had a couple of nice catches in the outfield.

Foxboro, 19 @ Attleboro, 8 – Final

North Attleboro, 4 @ Franklin, 20 – FinalFranklin moved to 4-0 on the season with a big win over visiting North Attleboro. Matt Lazzaro led the offensive charge with three goals and two helpers while sophomores Jayden Consigli and Luke Davis each recorded four goals apiece. Jack Maguire made six saves in net for the win.

Sharon, 12 @ Mansfield, 10 – FinalBen Shocket won 19-of-25 faceoffs and six different Eagles found the back of the net in a win on the road over Mansfield. Brady Daylor led the way offensively for the visitors with five goals, Drew Litner and Kobe Jacobson each scored twice, and Bobby Burns, Connor McLoughlin, and Shocket each scored once in the win. Adam Rabb had a strong showing in net with 17 saves.

Mya Waryas (two assists) and Lilly Vey (one assist) were the top scorers with three goals apiece. Ella Waryas (two assists), Mary Collins, Kate Collins, Val Beigel, and Paige Curran each scored two goals, as the Warriors worked the ball around and made sure everyone got a touch. Dylan Rappoli had a goal and three assists and Grace Riley added one goal for Foxboro. Hannah Webster scored for Attleboro in the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout and Maggie Porreca made five saves in goal.

Canton, 8 @ Taunton, 17 – FinalTaunton senior Alana Tavares had 10 draw controls and scored nine goals to help the Tigers defend their home turf against visiting Canton. Tasia Lajoie added four controls and six goals in the win while Rosemary McGrath had three draw controls and three assists in the win. Senior Tori DaRosa and junior Sarah Clark each netted one goal, freshman Cali Melo added an assist, and junior Emily Gannon added 13 saves in the win.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Franklin, 20 – FinalKenzie Baker did it all for the Panthers with five draw controls, two goals, and two assists as Franklin rolled to a win at home. Stella Regan added four draw controls and three goals, Katie Jones chipped in with three goals and an assist, and Payten Crandall (two ground balls) played well defensively.

Mehul Bhattacharyya (6-1, 6-1) won at first singles for the Eagles while Max Chen earned a 6-1, 6-4 win at third singles. The team of Matthew Lally and Rithvik Neti emerged with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at first doubles while the Eagles’ second doubles pairing of Mitch Weiss and Alex Budovalcio secured a 6-0, 6-0 decision at second doubles. Canton freshman Max Kupferman earned a 6-4, 6-4 win in a well-played second singles matchup.

Foxboro, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalFoxboro won all three singles matches in straight sets and emerged with victories in both doubles matches to earn a win over Oliver Ames. Junior Garrett Spillane picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at first singles, senior Justin Neale won 6-1, 7-5 at second singles, and senior Jason Kandula picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at third singles. Foxboro’s first doubles pairing of junior Bo Canfield and freshman Justin Kandula won 6-3, 6-2 while junior Guillermo Marroquin and freshman Visruth Shavalam teamed up for a 6-7, 7-5, 10-6 win at second doubles.

The team of Rachel Rainey and Saharla Yusuf picked up a 6-1, 6-1 decision at first doubles while Attleboro’s second doubles team of freshmen Maddie Fulscado and Kyra Johnson won 6-0, 6-1. For Milford, Lavinia Mocenni battled back for a 2-6, 6-0, 10-5 win at third singles.

Canton, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – FinalSharon swept both doubles matches and grabbed one more victory at third singles to fend off an upset bid from visiting Canton. The team of Anjali Jha and Ritu Sreeram battled to a hard-fought 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) win at first doubles while Sharon’s second doubles team of Sophia Oh and Sasha Fein emerged with a 6-4, 6-1 victory. Sophomore Allie Aguilar was impressive in Sharon’s third win, recording a 6-0, 6-0 decision at third singles. Canton’s Rachel Kupferman notched a 6-2, 6-4 win at first singles while Laura Correal recorded a 7-6 (7-2), 7-5 win at second singles.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – FinalFoxboro didn’t drop a single game in any of its three singles matches and added one more win in doubles play to secure a victory over visiting Oliver Ames. Athena Li (first), Pam Nelson (second) and Sarah Prag (third) each won 6-0, 6-0 to sweep the singles matches. The team of Maggie McAuliffe and Abby Costa added a 6-0, 6-2 decision at first double for Foxboro’s fourth point. OA’s second doubles team of Lizzie MacAdam and Elizabeth O’Brien picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win.

Mansfield, 4 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalMansfield went on the road and earned a win over Taunton by sweeping doubles play and adding a pair of straight-set decisions in singles play. The team of Sarah Harrington and Alexis O’Keefe battled for a 7-5, 5-7, 10-6 win at first doubles while ALly McDavitt and Caroline Guravage took care of business with a 6-1, 6-4 win at second doubles. Mansfield senior Alex Burnham won 6-3, 6-4 at first singles and junior Kate Martin earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at third singles. Taunton’s Kayla Parrett notched a 6-3, 6-4 win at second singles.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – FinalStoughton picked up its third straight win, this time defending home court with a victory over visiting division rival North Attleboro. Stoughton’s second doubles team of Nadia Prokopiuk and Stefani Reznikow continued their impressive campaign, clinching the winning point with a 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 win. Allie Lada moved up to first singles and picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win for the Black Knights while. The first doubles team of Emily Pham-Nguyen and Emilia Lada added a 6-2, 7-5 win at first doubles. North Attleboro’s Haley Strom (7-5, 6-3) and Lauren Hunt (6-1, 6-0) won at second and third singles, respectively.

Attleboro, 59 @ King Philip, 77 – FinalAttleboro’s Cassondra Stuger won a pair of events but King Philip was able to earn the overall team win on Monday. Stuger won both the 400M (61.6) and the 200M (26.6) for the Bombardiers, who also got first-place finishes from Diana Blouin (1 Mile, 5:37.6), Kelly Neuendorf (2 Mile, 12:16.0), Elayna Marinelli (javelin, 78-7), Samantha Fregault (discus, 72-1), and Kamsi Igbobi (shot put, 34-5).

Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 3 vs. Barnstable, 1 – FinalTaunton won its fourth straight match to open the season, this time a 3-1 decision (25-17, 25-16, 20-25, 25-14) over visiting Barnstable. Daniel Medina set the offense in motion with 34 assists, adding two kills in while Tyler Stewart had an impressive showing with 19 kills, five blocks, and 13 digs in the win. Travis Nunes played well defensively and in serve receive for the Tigers, Mattia Casagrande added six kills and seven aces, and Jakob Thorpe chipped in seven kills and four aces.

North Attleboro, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Dennis Colleran tossed a complete game one-hitter to help the Rocketeers earn a split with the Tigers on the season. Colleran allowed a total of three baserunners with a walk and one batter hit by a pitch but struck out 11 in the win. North scored one run in each the first and second innings, OA halved the deficit with a run in the third, but the Rocketeers scored twice in the fifth and added another insurance run in the seventh. Sophomore Derek Maceda had three hits, including a triple that he eventually scored on a single by Tyler Bannon in the seventh. Evan Vigorito knocked in three runs, driving in two of those with a triple in the fifth while Aidan Weir had an RBI single in the second.

Mansfield, 4 @ King Philip, 7 – FinalMansfield took the lead with a run in the top of the third but King Philip responded in a big way, plating six runs in the bottom half and never looked back to earn head coach Jeff Plympton his first career win. Senior Conor Cooke collected two of his three RBI in the third with a base hit, adding another with a sacrifice fly in the fourth. Sophomore Tommy Martarano also drove in two runs in the big third inning while Mikey Malatesta and Nick Viscusi each had one RBI. Sophomore Rudy Gately earned the win, allowing just one run through six innings before Mansfield tried to mount a last-inning comeback. Jack Mullen came in and struck out two to close the door. Luke Urban (RBI) and Eric Sullivan (two RBI, run) each registered a pair of hits for Mansfield.

Softball
Franklin, 16 @ Milford, 3 – Final Franklin’s offense stayed hot and got contributions throughout the lineup in a win on the road at Milford. Senior Gabby Colace had three hits, including a home run, while driving in three runs and scoring four times to pace the Panthers. Freshman Carly Johnson-Pellegri (two hits) also had a home run with three RBI, Georgia Harvey drove in four runs on three hits, and Lauren Cote had two hits and three RBI for Franklin. Aislinn Lavery, who added two hits and an RBI, struck out five in six innings of work.

Foxboro, 14 @ Sharon, 8 – FinalFoxboro had a strong first half, outscoring the Eagles 7-0 and never looked back to get the win in the first meeting of the two teams. For the Eagles, Drew Litner, Jace Neatler, and Brady Daylor each scored a pair of goals while Ben Shocket won 18-of-26 faceoffs. Adam Rabb made 12 saves in net for Sharon.

Taunton, 11 @ Attleboro, 7 – FinalTaunton senior Alana Tavares found the back of the net eight times to help the Tigers score a win on the road. In their second win over the Bombardiers this week, Taunton also got two goals from Tasia Lajoie (one assist) and one from freshman Cali Melo. Emily Gannon made eight saves in net for Taunton.

Sharon, 4 @ Foxboro, 19 – FinalTess Letendre had a great game in goal for the Eagles, making 15 saves. Jenna Goldstein scored three of Sharon’s four goals. Athena Merck had the fourth, assisted by Molly McAlevey.

Milford, 3 @ Franklin, 20 – FinalSydney Hawkins and Riley Cross each registered their first goals of the season for the Panthers while Brigid Earley made six saves in net.

Mansfield, 1 @ King Philip, 12 – FinalKing Philip raced out to an 8-0 lead by halftime and never looked back in a win over visiting Mansfield. Julia Marsden and Haley Izydorczak each scored a hat trick to pace the Warriors’ offense, Peyton Mellman and Lily Brown each scored twice, and Ally Donovan and Morgan Cunningham (assist) each found the back of the net once. Emily Campbell turned aside eight shots to get the win in net for KP.

North Attleboro, 11 @ Oliver Ames, 12 – FinalOliver Ames scored twice in the final 30 seconds to steal a win away from North Attleboro. Emma Pereira set up both goals, coming up with a loose ball in her own half before finding Emma Sharkansky, who quickly dished off to Catie Wilson for a goal with 12 seconds left to make it 11-11. Pereira won the ensuing draw for the Tigers, sprinted up the field and passed to Sharkansky who ripped a quick shot in for the game-winner with three seconds to go. Head coach Gen Rogan praised the defensive work of Taylor McAndrew, Emilee Nuss, and goalie Emma O’Donnell.

Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 3 @ Quincy, 0 – FinalTaunton continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 3-0 sweep (25-21, 25-16, 26-17) on the road at Quincy. Daniel Medina had a strong game distributing the ball offensively, dishing out 33 assists to go along with three aces. Jakob Thorpe put down 10 kills for the Tigers while Tyler Stewart had another strong all around game with 18 kills, nine digs, and a pair of blocks. Mattia Casagrande (nine digs) and Travis Nunes (seven digs) both played well defensively and in serve receive for the Tigers.

Milford, 3 @ Medfield, 0 – Final
