Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Franklin scored a goal in each half to pick up a win over visiting Attleboro. Tim Duval scored an unassisted tally in the first half as the Panthers took a 1-0 advantage into the break. Junior Sam Stowell converted a penalty kick in the second half for the Panthers.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final
Oliver Ames, 2 @ King Philip, 1 – Final – Oliver Ames scored two goals in the second half to earn two points on the road in a comeback win. King Philip’s John Cullen gave the hosts the lead at the midway point of the first half, an advantage that the Warriors took into halftime. But OA found the back of the net twice in the second half to take the points. Kevin Louhis scored the tying goal in the 53rd minute and Jimmy Keane netted the game winner with under five minutes to go.
Taunton, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Mansfield senior Luke Devine scored the game-winning goal and assisted on an insurance strike as the Hornets blanked Taunton. Devine opened the scoring in the 25th minute, converting a pass from Tommy Lanzillo to make it 1-0. Devine then took his turn as the facilitator, linking up with Luke Savoie in the 36th minute to a 2-0 advantage. Tony Salisbury and Cam Bovey combined for the shutout in net.
Sharon, 2 @ Stoughton, 2 – Final – Stoughton twice erased one-goal deficits to earn a draw against Sharon. After the Eagles took an early lead, Mason Eschleman took a feed from Fabi Ponce de Leon and found the back of the net to tie the game. Sharon once again took the lead, scoring early in the second half but the Knights battled back again. Ikenna Dike’s throw-in was flicked on by Ted Lucas to John Neves, and he scored his third goal of the year to make it 2-2. Stoughton senior captain Carter Gerome (17 saves) made a crucial save in the final moments to preserve the draw.

Franklin, 2 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – – Click here for a photo gallery from this game. – Erin Quaile opened the scoring just before halftime, tapping in the rebound from Sabrina Addi’s free kick that came back off the bar. Calen Frongillo added the second from the penalty spot in the second half.
Canton, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Click here for a photo gallery from this game. – Canton clinched a spot in the postseason with the road win.
Foxboro, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – Kayla Pasquel had a goal and two assists and Ashlyn Gaulin had one of each to lift the Rocketeers to a win against the Davenport division champs. Gaulin opened the scoring in the first half and then Pasquel doubled the lead 15 minutes after the break. Haley Ferrin headed in a Pasquel corner to seal the two points with 10 minutes left. Emma Noreck earned the clean sheet in goal for the Rocketeers.
Mansfield, 5 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Steph Kemp had two goals to lead the way for the Hornets, as Mansfield clinched its third straight league title and its first outright championship. Sydney Mulkern, Katie Miller, and Kerina Geminiani also scored for Mansfield, while Cassidy McMahon, Erin Daniel, Katy Garvin, Melissa Reef and Emily Vigeant had assists.
King Philip, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Faye Veilleux and Avery Snead each scored a goal and recorded an assist for the Warriors, as they closed out league play with a win. Snead opened the scoring in the first half off a Veilleux assist and the lead was doubled before the break when Ally Stanton scored on a Chloe Layne assist. Veilleux added the third from a Snead pass to seal the victory. Taylor Butler made five saves and Makayla Griffin, Lauren Anderson, Olivia Berry and Paige Varvarigos all played well on defense to preserve the clean sheet. Leah Johnson, Brianna Gibson and Emma O’Donnell played well for OA.

Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Oliver Ames scored once in each half, earning a 2-0 win over Attleboro to punch its ticket to the state tournament for the 10th straight season. Sophomore Anthony DaCosta gave the Tigers the lead in the 14th minute, hitting a half volley at the top of the box. DaCosta’s shot deflated off an Attleboro defender, catching the keeper going the wrong way. In the second half, sophomore Colin Milliken made it 2-0 in the 58th minute. After a long ball forced the keeper way off his line, Milliken collected the loose ball and lofted a shot from 40 yards out into the open net.
Canton, 2 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Canton took an early lead and added a late insurance goal to pick up two points against Stoughton. Paul Corcoran and Griffin Roach each scored once for the Bulldogs. Stoughton’s Fabio Ponce de Leon hit the crossbar just before half as the Knights nearly tied it before the break. Nolan Gerome had 23 saves in net for the Knights.
Milford, 2 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Milford took a late 1-0 lead in the first half, Foxboro stormed back in the second half to take a 2-1 lead but the Hawks equalized just minutes later to earn a draw on the road. Jordan Borges put Milford up in the 39th, heading in a free kick from Tiago Carvalho. Nic Beigel tied it 1-1 in the 52nd minute on an assist from Shane VandenBoom. VandenBoom then set up Dylan Barreira in the 64th minute for the 2-1 advantage. Milford leveled the match six minutes later when Anthony Salvador found the back of the net on an assist from Lucas Caetano. Borges and Leo Coelho both had strong games for the Hawks.
Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – Franklin goalie Jack Rudolph thwarted a dozen scoring chances and the Panthers’ team defense helped keep the Hornets off the scoreboard in a scoreless draw. Rudolph had 12 saves while Mansfield keeper Anthony Salisbury also had a shutout.
King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 4 – Final – Taunton raced out to a 4-0 lead in the first half and then had to hold off a furious rally from King Philip in the second half to get the win. Mateusz Hagemajer had a natural hat trick, scoring the first three goals of the game, opening the scoring in the 9th minute off an assist from Evan Melo. Hagemajer made it 2-0 off an assist from Brett Beaulieu in the 16th minute and 3-0 in the 24th minute. Alec Nunes made it 4-0 in the 31st minute. King Philip scored three times in a 20-minute span in the second half. Jimmy Dumont (40’), Stephen Griffin (55′), and Zac White (60′) each scored for KP.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Caroline Peper made her mark in her first varsity game, scoring the lone goal to help the Tigers earn two points on the road. OA head coach Britt Sellmayer said Brianna Gibson, Emma Pereira and Olivia Carroll played well for the Tigers.
Stoughton, 2 @ Canton, 8 – Final – Stoughton’s Mackenzie Manning scored both goals for the Knights, with Hannah Papagno assisting on the first strike. Manning added a second from the penalty spot.

Franklin, 2 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – The Panthers edged Mansfield in a back-and-forth game behind goals from Sam Powderly and Sydney St. Marie. Sydney Mulkern scored the goal for the Hornets. With the win, Franklin moves to within just one point of league-leading Mansfield.
North Attleboro, 5 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Ashlyn Gaulin had another big game for the Rocketeers, as the league’s leading scorer had a hat trick and an assist to keep North three points back of Foxboro in the Davenport. Lexi Sinacola and Kayla Pasquel also scored for North, while Emma Noreck and Regan Fein split time in goal to keep a clean sheet. Hannah Davis, Lauren Pezzi and Tess Collins also played well for the Rocketeers.
Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 7 – Final – Jenna Hitchens led the way for the Warriors with a hat trick and an assist, as KP got back on track, ending a five-game winless streak. Avery Snead and Chloe Layne each had a goal and two assists in the win. Jaida Caruso also scored off an assist from Jillian Anderson and Ally Stanton had one goal for KP.

Canton, 47 @ Milford, 15 – Final – Milford swept the top five spots in the race on its way to a big win over the visiting Bulldogs. Milford’s Anthony DiStauro, Max Manor, and Brendan O’Shaughnessy were the top three runners, while Canton’s Kyle Downing took sixth overall as the top finisher for the Bulldogs.

Jason Windvogel was first overall with fellow Hornets Patrick Heavey, Mike Mullahy, and Paxton Howard crossing in a seven-second span. Taunton’s Nolan Tavares was the top Tiger, finishing fifth overall.

The Eagles swept the entire top 10 with Jared Osofsky getting his first win of the season. Alex Starovoytov, Jacob Dubin, Jordan Saks, and Nathan Stockton rounded out the top five. Stoughton’s Colin Rahaman was the top runner for the Knights at 17:15.

Julia Fenerty (19:41) was the top Panther, taking third, followed by Sydney Hawkins in fourth and Kat Walbert in fifth. Attleboro’s Shea Jamieson was first overall while Kelly Neuendorf took second.

Mansfield, 22 @ Taunton, 33 – Final – Mansfield’s Margaret Riley and Tessa Lancaster took the top two spots and the supporting cast of Jessica Alestock, Brinly Meelia, and Emma Lamson all finished inside the top eight to secure the win and the Hockomock League Kelley-Rex division championship. For the first time this season, Riley crossed the finish line in under 20 minutes (19:56).

Tommy Dimock was the match medalist with an impressive low-round of 33 to pace the Bulldogs. Thomas Singleton added a round of 38, Mike Gobbi shot 43, and Mike Leonetti chipped in with a 44. Justin Applebee and Alex Klosen each had a 40 for the Hawks, Riley Lynch added a round of 41 and Ed Madden finished with a 42.
Foxboro, 172 @ Sharon, 169 – Final – Sharon defended its home course, beating the visiting Warriors by three strokes. Corey Carter led the way for the Eagles with a round of 37 while Andrew Glaser shot a 40. Noah Hicks shot 40 to lead Foxboro.
Franklin, 158 @ Mansfield, 154 – Final – Mansfield pulled off its second straight upset, knocking off visiting Franklin. A day after beating Oliver Ames, the Hornets earned a four-stroke victory over the Panthers. A trio of sophomores – Jason See, Joseph Gormley, and Nate Morreale – all shot 38 to pace Mansfield while sophomore Brandon Kemp added a round of 40.
King Philip, 160 @ North Attleboro, 163 – Final – King Philip earned a nice crossover win over North Attleboro on the middle course at Heather Hill Country Club. Kayla Schuberth had a low-round for the Warriors, shooting a 39 while Jack Hastry and Ian Nally each shot 40 and Nate Ihley added a 41. North Attleboro’s Jillian Barend was the match medalist with a 2-over par round of 37. Marcus Costa (40), Matt Wanless (42), and Pat Roberts (44) also scored for the Rocketeers.
Oliver Ames, 147 @ Stoughton, 183 – Final – Oliver Ames’ top four golfers all had rounds of under 40 and the Tigers rolled to a big win at Easton Country Club. Nolan Donze led the way with a medalist round of 35, Liam Barry and Sam Becker each shot 37, and Brad Powers finished with a 38. Kyle Stone and Nick Szum each shot a 42 for the host Black Knights.

Attleboro, 2 @ Foxboro, 8 – Final – Foxboro junior Dylan Barreira stayed red hot, scoring six goals for the second straight game to lead the Warriors to a big win at home. Barreira scored three goals in each half, giving the hosts a 3-1 edge at the break. Nic Beigel (assist) and Chris Amiable each scored once while Matt Garcia had two assists and Will Morrison had one helper.
Mansfield, 0 @ Canton, 0 – Final – Both Canton and Mansfield had a handful of corners and long throw in chances but neither side could break the stalemate. Mansfield goalie Anthony Salisbury made a terrific one-handed diving save in the 54th minute to rob Griffin Roach of a goal from just outside the area. On the ensuing corner, Simon Cruz had a big on goal denied by defender Matt O’Donnell, who was positioned at the near post. Alejandro Correal had a strong game in net for the Bulldogs.
Franklin, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final
King Philip, 7 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – King Philip raced out to a 3-1 lead at halftime and added four more goals in the second half to pick up two points on the road. KP scored three goals inside the first 11 minutes with sophomore Evan McEvoy (from Zac White) scoring the opening strike and assisting on Ian Zimmerman’s goal two minutes later. Tony Bozza mad 3-0 before Stoughton freshman Mateo Eschleman converted a long throw-in from Ikenna Dike to get on the board. In the second half, McEvoy (from John Cullen) and Cam Lawrence (from Bozza) scored in the first four minutes to make it 6-1. Senior Justin Willson added two more goals on assists from Gavon Fox and Andrew Thompson.
Taunton, 0 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Milford exploded for three goals in the second half to earn a convincing win over visiting Taunton. Omar Lema scored his second goal in as many games just two minutes in to give the Hawks an early lead. But Milford didn’t add onto it until the second half. Jordan Borges made it 2-0 just minutes into the second half on an assist from Walisson de Oliveira. Borges then returned the favor, setting de Oliveira up to a pair of goals to give the Hawks a 4-0 win.
Oliver Ames, 2 @ Sharon, 2 – Final – Sharon took a very early lead but had to come up with a late equalizer in the first half to earn a point against visiting Oliver Ames. Isaiah Stessman put the Eagles up less than two minutes in, converting a cross from Brian Higgins to make it 1-0. OA capitalized on an Eagle miscue as Jimmy Keane pounced on a loose ball and tied it for OA. The Tigers then took a lead as sophomore Colin Milliken blasted a shot from atop the 18 to give the visitors a 2-1 advantage. With five seconds left in the first half, Higgins used a nice individual effort to get by the defense and scored to make it 2-2.

Foxboro, 3 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – Attleboro took an early led but Foxboro battled back to get the advantage and earn two points. After Attleboro took a 1-0 lead, Jordyn Collins equalized for Foxboro, converting an assist from Kenzi Fraser. Freshman Kailee McCabe scored on a penalty kick midway through the first half, and then scored again in the second half on a pass from Lizzy Davis.
Canton, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final – Maria Sevastos scored twice and assisted on another as Mansfield stayed unbeaten with a four-goal flurry in the first half against Canton. Steph Kemp and Cassidy McMahon each scored goals for the Hornets and McMahon added an assist as well. Emily Vigeant assisted on a pair of goals in the win.
North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Stella Regan had a pair of goals in the first half, assisted by Calen Frongillo and Hailey Toolin, to lead the Panthers to a big cross-over win. Breanna Atwood made eight saves to preserve the clean sheet for Franklin. Emma Noreck made six saves for the Rocketeers.
Sharon, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Senior Samantha Gilgan, junior Lauren Picanzi, and senior Daniella Ferrini each scored as Oliver Ames notched a win at home over Sharon.

Stoughton, 184 @ Canton, 147 – Final – Canton’s Tommy Dimock shot a match-low round of 35, earning medalist honors while helping the Bulldogs net their lowest score of the season. Mike Gobbi and Mike Leonetti each shot 37 while Thomas Singleton carded a 38. Josh Hough led Stoughton with a 42 and Luke Bainton shot 44.
Mansfield, 174 @ Franklin, 166 – Final – Franklin notched its second straight win over a division foe, this time knocking off Mansfield at Franklin Country Club. Quinten Faro was the match medalist after carding a low round of 38. Jack Paterson added a 40 for the Panthers while Ryan Dow led Mansfield with a round of 40.

Milford, 181 @ Sharon, 161 – Final – Ethan Skelly earned medalist honors after shooting a 37 at the Cape Club of Sharon, leading the Eagles to a win over Milford. Andrew Glaser and Nathan Daley each shot 41 for Sharon while Corey Carter carded a round of 42. Riley Lynch led Milford with a 39.

Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Canton scored once and each half, rolling to a win over visiting Stoughton. Griffin Roach put the Dogs up 1-0 midway through the first half, finishing off a throw-in from Paul Corcoran. Early in the second half, Simon Cruz doubled the hosts’ lead, burying a corner kick. Stoughton’s Ryan Reis had a pair of chances late for the visitors, with a header and a volley, but Canton goalie Alejandro Correal made the save both times. Stoughton goalie Carter Gerome finished with 17 saves.
Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Walisson de Oliveira scored a hat trick to pace the Hawks to a big win over visiting Foxboro. Sophomore Leo Coelho opened the scoring in the 10th minute for the Hawks, de Oliveira doubled the lead in the 25th minute, and then tallied twice in the second half. Coelho scored on a through ball from Jordan Borges, who also set de Oliveira up to make it 2-0. In the second half, de Oliveira scored directly off a free kick, finding the top corner, and then again off a counter. Josh Orellana made four saves for the shutout in his season debut while Zach Browne and Joao Boaventura played well defensively for the Hawks.
Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Mansfield senior Luke Savoie continued his hot start to the season, scoring a pair of goals in the Hornets’ win over Franklin. After a throw from Cam Eddy, freshman Dylan Buchanan found Savoie to put the Hornets up 1-0 in the 22nd minute. And just before halftime, Graham Wells played Savoie in behind the defense and the senior finished one-on-one with the keeper. Anthony Salisbury (five saves) and Cam Bovey (five saves) combined for the shutout for Mansfield.
Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – King Philip carried the play and threatened to scored but settled for a scoreless draw with Taunton. Brian McCarthy, Andrew Thompson, and Wes Orzell had strong games defensively while goalie Nick Beltramini came up big on a handful of occasions for the Warriors.

Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Camryn O’Connor scored the game-winner for OA in the final two minutes of the game. Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Kailee McCabe scored a pair of goals and had an assist for the Warriors, while Grace Ferguson, Lizzie Davis, and Jordyn Collins each scored one in the win. Katelyn Mollica, Alyssa Vandenboom and Davis each had an assist. Foxboro coach Katie Stalcup said that the Warriors got off to a slow start but “once we found our game we took control of the game.”

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 8 – Final – Ashlyn Gaulin had four goals and two assists to lead North Attleboro to a big win. Haley Ferrin scored the opener for North with a header on a corner, Lydia Santos had a brace and Lily Cameron added a goal on a penalty kick. Kayla Pasquel had three assists and Liv Bishop had one. Emma Noreck and Regan Fein split time in net to keep the clean sheet.
King Philip, 8 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Avery Snead and Chloe Layne each scored hat tricks, as KP picked up a big road win to stay atop the Kelley-Rex division. Snead opened the scoring off a Layne assist 20 minutes into the game and then Layne doubled the lead off a Faye Veilleux assist five minutes later. Megan Flanagan scored of an Alex Wapenski assist in the 37th to cut the lead in half (the first goal KP has allowed this season), but the Warriors scored five times after the break. Abby Baker scored off an Ally Stanton assist a minute into the second half, Snead scored from Layne four minutes later, and Layne scored from Snead in the 47th minute. Kiana Fernandes got one back with a goal from Paige Tolan, but then Snead scored unassisted for KP, Layne scored from Makayla Griffin, and Jenny Montville tacked on an unassisted goal in the 76th minute. Grace Pimenta made four saves and Izzy Anslow made nine for the Tigers.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames scored two goals in the first half and added an insurance tally in the second in a win over Attleboro. Sophomore Hannah Stryke gave the Tigers the lead with 11:26 left in the first half, finishing off a feed from Cassie Gennis. Gennis’ shot was tipped by Georgia Costello five minutes later to make it 2-0 heading into half. In the second half, Meghan Rockey capitalized on a rebound off the pads on a penalty corner in the second half to secure the win. Kara Ostrander in goal had 5 saves to secure her first shutout of the season. Attleboro’s Shaelyn Harrison had eight saves in net for the Bombardiers.

Franklin, 2 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final – For Franklin, Regan Patterson and Amanda Lewandowski each had first half goals but the Panthers fell on the road to Mansfield. Cassi Ronan set Paterson up at the 22nd mark of the first half while Maeve Ledwith assisted on Lewandowski’s goal just over four minutes later. Anna Jardine made 11 saves in net for Franklin.
North Attleboro, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final
Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – “It was a great team effort from top to bottom,” said KP co-head coach Erin MacDonald. The Warriors scored twice in each half in the win. Nicole Connor (from Kate Lindmark) and Claire Lawlor (from Alli Meehan) put the hosts ahead 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Connor made it 3-0 on an assist from Meehan, and Meehan capped the scoring (assisted by Lindmark).
Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames went on the road and recorded a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-16, 25-13). OA freshman Hailey Bourne stepped up and had a great serving game for the Tigers. Senior Sadie Homer added 16 digs, Allie Kemp finished with 15 assists, and Jordan Bosse chipped in with 12 kills and two aces. For Attleboro, Chelsea Calgagni had nine kills and an ace, Faith Hindy added two aces, and Ana Leonardo (two aces) dished out 13 assists.
Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Canton defended home court with a sweep over Davenport rival Stoughton (25-20, 25-21, 25-17). Julia Minichiello anchored the defense with an impressive performance for the Bulldogs, finishing with nine digs while adding 22 service points (three aces). Olivia Chinsen added 10 assists, four kills, and four aces while Nicole Brown and Taylor Harris combined for 16 kills. CHS head coach Pat Cawley said Liz Bickett impressed in her first varsity start, playing a strong match at the net.
Milford, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final
Franklin, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Franklin senior Lauren McGrath went on a 9-0 service run during the third set to help the Panthers put away a pesky Mansfield side, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-5). McGrath also had 25 assists and two aces while Riley Marino added seven digs and two aces. Maggie Doyle had a team-high eight kills and three blocks, Ellie Wisniewski added seven kills, Peyton Arone chipped in with six kills, and Hailey Sanders finished with five kills for Franklin. For Mansfield, Sam Sternberg had 11 digs, Katie Dardinski had five digs, and Olivia McGrath finished with six kills.
Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip used strong serving to knock off visiting Taunton, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-21). Kat Kmetz (two kills) had 11 aces and a total of 17 service points while Grace Ely (11 kills) added five aces with 10 service points. Nicole Coughlan added five kills and two blocks while Caroline Robertson finished with four kills and two blocks for King Philip. For Taunton, McKenzie Lucie (ace) led the back row with 10 digs and Kamila Cuevas had a strong game at the net.
North Attleboro, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – After splitting the first two sets, North Attleboro edged the Eagles in each of the net two to get the win on the road (25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17). Kylie Melanson went on a terrific service run in the first set to get the Rocketeers back in it and finished with eight kills. Joanna Collins-Bilyeu had 19 assists and Hayley Gaskin added 12 assists for Big Red.
Boys Cross Country
Mansfield, 15 @ Attleboro, 45 – Final – Mansfield senior Paxton Howard crossed the finish line in just under 16 minutes to lead the Hornets to a win. Mansfield had the top six finishers and eight of the top 10. Attleboro sophomore Nate Seybert was the top runner for the Bombardiers, finishing seventh overall.

Attleboro’s Shea Jamieson took first but the Hornets had second, third (Tessa Lancaster), fifth (Emma Lamson), sixth (Brinly Meelia) and seventh (Jessica Alestock), the last three spots clinching the win for Mansfield.

Oliver Ames, 160 @ King Philip, 176 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Liam Barry shot a medalist round of 37 at Wentworth Hills to help the Tigers beat King Philip. Nolan Donze shot a 38 for OA while Jared Spillane added a 42 and Thomas Walsh carded a round of 43.
Sharon, 153 @ North Attleboro, 168 – Final – Sharon had three golfers shoot under 40 on the North course at Heather Hill to beat North Attleboro. Ethan Skelly shot a 1-under par round of 35 to earn medalist honors, Sam Fergenbaum shot an even par 36, and Corey Carter was 1-over at 37. North Attleboro’s Matt Wanless had a team-low round of 41 while Marcus Costa and Aidan Weir each shot 42 on the day.
Stoughton, 189 @ Milford, 168 – Final – Milford’s Riley Lynch earned medalist honors, carding a match-low round of 40. Justin Applebee chipped in with a 41 and Alex Klosen shot a 42 for the Scarlet Hawks.

The bid was saved but Devine was there to finish it. Mansfield goalie Anthony Salisbury made 12 saves for his first career shutout.

Taylor Butler made six saves for the clean sheet. Breanna Atwood made nine saves for the Panthers and Franklin coach Tom Geysen said that his team created some good chances and “took some steps forward.”

KP freshman Meghan MacDonald scored less then two minutes into the game on a feed from Kate Lindmark to give the Warriors a strong start. Alli Meehan scored the next three goals for the Warriors, tallying unassisted goals at the midway point of each the first and second half, and scoring off a feed from Dana Truini in the second half. Franklin’s Christina Luccini made four saves and Anna Jardine had nine saves for the Panthers. Marissa Canesi and Maeve Ledwith each had strong games defensively for Franklin.

Molly Turner served well for the Black Knights, recording seven aces and adding four kills and four blocks. Amaya Morris played well from the middle, killing six of her nine attempts.
Taunton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Caitlin Cavanaugh had a terrific game, leading the Tigers with 17 kills in a win over Taunton. Sadie Homer had 23 digs, Allie Kemp added 28 assists & six aces, Sarah Litwack chipped in with 15 assists and Jordan Bosse finished with eight kills and three aces.

Canton, 4 vs. Marshfield, 3 – Final – Canton scored three goals over the final 25 minutes to erase a deficit to take all two points in its season opener. Trailing 2-0 at half, Paolo Ruggeri got the Dogs on the board but Marshfield extended its lead to 3-1. Griffin Roach brought Canton within 3-2 with 21 minutes left and then tied the game with his second goal with six minutes left. Senior Paul Corcoran scored the game-winning inside the final two minutes for Canton.
Foxboro, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield raced out to a 2-0 lead in the first 15 minutes before Foxboro responded with two straight goals in a 10 minute span. Luke Savoie recorded a hat trick for Mansfield; putting the hosts up 1-0 on a free kick from 30-yards out, finishing up a rebound off a shot from freshman Dylan Buchanan and then scoring the game-winner in the 70th minute off a corner kick from Connor Eames. Foxboro’s Shane VandenBoom made it 2-1 in the 15th minute and Dylan Barreira tied in the 25th when his free kick deflected in off a defender. Junior Anthony Salisbury had a strong game in net for the Hornets.
Franklin, 1 vs. Xaverian, 0 – Final – Franklin senior Eathan Bowen scored midway through the second half to help the Panthers open the season with a win over Xaverian. Nick Barry set Bowen up with a nice pass and Bowen buried his chance.

Mansfield, 1 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Mansfield took the lead halfway through the second half but a young Foxboro team was able to find the equalizer 10 minutes later as the teams finished level in the season opener. Katie Galvin played a nice ball behind the defense that allowed Steph Kemp to run onto and she placed her shot into the far corner. Foxboro freshman Kailee McCabe had a great individual effort to tie the game. McCabe intercepted a pass out of the back, got past a defender, had her first shot saved by stayed with the rebound and tucked in the second chance.
Oliver Ames, 3 @ Brockton, 1 – Final – Abby Hodges and freshmen Allison Evin and Camryn O’Connor scored the goals for OA to win its season opener. OA coach Britt Sellmayer also said that seniors Anna Tempestoso and Brianna Gibson played well in the win.
King Philip, 0 @ Bishop Feehan, 0 – Final – KP coach Gary Pichel called it a “back and forth game” and the Warriors hit the crossbar several times but couldn’t find the breakthrough. Pichel said that goalie Taylor Butler played well with some critical saves.

Attleboro, 172 @ Stoughton, 178 – Final – Stoughton’s Luke Bainton and Attleboro’s Jack Handy tied for the low round of the day, each shooting a 42 at Easton Country Club. The Bombardiers got rounds of 43 from Jake Moulton and Brendan Raymond and a 44 from Ethan Johnson. Josh Hough and Nick Szum each shot a 45 for the Black Knights.
Sharon, 161 @ Milford, 175 – Final – Ethan Kelly and Andrew Glaser shot the low rounds of the day for the Eagles, both carding a 38 to help Sharon pull out the win.
