Sydney Phillips had 21 digs and 14 service points for KP while Amanda Loewen had 25 service points and 12 digs, Elise Pereira had eight digs, Molly Croke added seven digs and Angela Vellante had 25 service points and six digs.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Milton, 3 – FinalOliver Ames’ Bridget McCarthy led the Tigers with 29 assists and three aces while Grace McCallum added six kills, four aces and a pair of digs, Alyssa Gavin had 21 digs and a pair of aces, Emma Petrillo chipped in with eight kills and an ace, Maya Fetcho had six kills and a block, Kayla Raymond had 11 kills and an ace and Katie Flynn chipped in with eight kills.

Franklin, 164 @ Attleboro, 169 – Final – Bryan Woelfel earned match medalist honors, shooting a low round of 37 to lead the Panthers. Matt D’ Errico and Matt Dao each shot 42 for Franklin while Ethan Johnson led Attleboro with a team-low round of 39.

Mansfield, 169 @ Oliver Ames, 140 – Final Oliver Ames’ Nick Lombardi was the co-match medalist, carding a team-low round of 36. Brady Allbritton shot a 37 and Eric LeBlanc and Ryan McGarry each shot 38 for the Tigers. Mansfield Jason Hindman shot a team-low 36.

North Attleboro, 161 @ Taunton, 193 – FinalTyler Sinacola led North Attleboro, earning match medalist honors after carding a round of 37. Dylan Kane added a 39 for the Rocketeers.

Cullin Anastasia scored off an assist from goalie Jed Tolbert’s punt in the 11th minute, Sam Hyland headed home a throw from Max Gurnon in the 25th minute and Gurnon headed home a corner from Sean Lanzillo in the 28th minute. Tolbert made six saves for his fourth straight shutout. Head coach Steve Sheridan said Gurnon, Nick Hyland, Harry Braidt and Ethan Brill-Cass played great on defense,

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – After a scoreless first half, King Philip junior Tyler Mann netted a pair of second half goals and Larsen Keys and Nils van den Boogaard each scored once for the Warriors. Mann scored on an assist from Thomas Lugten to open the scoring and then converted a chance from Colby Koch. Larsen Keys earned a penalty kick and took it himself to net his second goal of the season. Senior Nils van den Boogaard netted his first career goal on an assist from Mark Kahaly to cap the scoring.

Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Francesca Calabraro, Kiana Lozzi and Abby Reardon were the goal scorers for OA.

Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – FinalLily Sykes scored the opening goal for the Warriors and Mackenzie Fraser scored twice in the second half, both on assists by Kristen Bortolotti, to lift Foxboro to a fourth straight win.

Mansfield, 1 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalHannah Reiter scored off a corner kick by Emily Vigeant in the second half to give Mansfield the win.

North Attleboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final Ashlyn Gaulin scored a pair of goals and Aine Mendonca, Felicity Monfils, Kayla Pasquel, Mackenzie Rosenberg and Leah Jette each netted one goal.

King Philip, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – Final Maddie Smith scored an unassisted goal in the first half to put KP up and Emma Corcoran added an unassisted tally in the second half to double the Warriors’ lead.

Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final Erin Skidmore led Franklin with seven kills, 11 digs and an ace, Lauren Lockhart added five kills and three digs and Maggie Doyle chipped in with five kills and an ace.

Canton, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – Nine different players registered a kill for Canton in a 25-12, 25-21, 25-12 win. Nicole Poole had 21 assists and 12 digs to lead Canton. “She did a great job distributing the ball to many different hitters,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Erika Lum led Canton with nine kills and combined with Maria Mackie Julia Panico for 34 digs total digs.

King Philip, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – A kill from junior Meg Hill and an ace from senior Jess Haradon gave Mansfield a vital win in game three and the Hornets went on for the win, 25-19, 11-25, 28-26, 25-22. Olivia Broyles had eight blocks, Chloe Peters had 26 assists and five blocks and Hill finished with 10 kills. King Philip’s Sydney Philips had a game-high 19 kills and added 20 service points, Carly Adams chipped in with 24 assists and 23 service points, Amanda Loewen added 11 digs and 12 service points and Liv Balfud finished with 17 service points for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 3 – Final

Taunton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames picked up a 25-16, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23 win behind 38 assists from senior Bridget McCarthy. Alyssa Gavin added 14 digs, a pair of assists, and six aces from the back row, middle hitter Kayla Raymond added 13 kills, Emma Petrillo finished with nine kills, three digs and two aces and Maya Fetcho chipped in with eight kills and two blocks.

Stoughton, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalStoughton junior Val Whalen had an impressive afternoon at the net, recording 17 kills in the win. Christina Gelin and Riley Bagley combined for over 60 digs for the Black Knights.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 7 – FinalFreshman Erin Walsh scored her first career goal and then added three more in the game for a total of four goals. Alex Sullivan had three assists on Walsh’s goales while Brayden Downing had one. Downing also had a goal on an assist from Caroline Jackson, her first varsity point. Sophomore Cassi Ronan added a goal and an assist with Maddie Hinckley and Maeve Ledwith rounding out the scoring with a goal and an assist respectively. Senior goalie Sam Hertzberg picked up the shutout making three saves.

Canton, 0 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final Lily Daly scored the lone goal of the game, putting the Warriors ahead with a second half strike.

King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Caitlin Donahue put King Philip ahead with a first half goal off an assist from Alli Meehan. The Hornets responded with a tying goal in the second half but Donahue scored twice more, one off an assist from Christina Hathaway and another from Meehan again. Mansfield scored in the final seconds for its second goal of the game.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Milford, 2 – Final After a scoreless first half, goals from Kaleigh Cole and Julia Feid put North Attleboro up 2-0 but the Scarlet Hawks rallied for a tie. Elena Dello Russo scored with just under eight minutes to play to cut into the deficit and Tina Capone scored with under a minute to play to tie the game. Emily Smith made 12 saves in the cage for Milford.

Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – FinalFive different players each recorded a goal in Oliver Ames’ win over Taunton. Kendall Clifford, Dimitra Efremidis, Meaghan Rockey, Sydney Hedrick and Cristina Boudreau each scored once for OA. Head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Davenport had a strong defensive game for OA.

Stoughton, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalKamryn Oliviera scored a pair of goals for the Black Knights, while Mia Russell and Julia Russell had scored a goal each. Erin Dougherty scored for Sharon.

Oliver Ames, 163 @ Attleboro, 185 – Final – Oliver Ames punched its ticket to the state tournament with the win. Thomas Walsh’s round of 40 led the way for the Tigers while Brady Allbritton and Ryan McGarry each shot 41 on the day.

North Attleboro, 169 @ King Philip, 180 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon had the match low round of 38 while Sebastian Ladoulis had a team-low round of 42 for King Philip.

Taunton, 188 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Brendan Loomer was the match medalist, shooting a low round of 38 to lead Mansfield. Jason Hindman added a 40 and David Norris shot a 42 on the day. Taunton’s Justin Proto carded a team low round of 40.

Attleboro, 35 @ Mansfield, 24 – FinalAttleboro’s David Seybert won the race in 17:04 but Mansfield used its depth to get the team win. Kalin Petrov finished first for Mansfield – second overall – in 17:21 while Patrick Heavey finished third in 17:41. Collin Rice (18:06) and Kevin Crawford (18:09) finished fifth and sixth and Nick Rispoli was eighth overall in 18:19. Attleboro’s Alex Boedecker (17:43) was fourth and Garrett Gillard (18:12) finished seventh overall.

Oliver Ames, 31 @ King Philip, 26 – Final – King Philip grabbed the top two finishers and had four of the top six finishes to edge Oliver Ames. Brendan Sullivan put the home side in front in the 13th minute, converting a cross from Kevin Bouck. Sullivan then drew a penalty in the 39th minute and James Chotkowski buried it to make it 2-0. Jed Tolbert made six saves, recording his first career shutout. Head coach Steve Sheridan applauded the play of defenders Max Gurnon, Harry Braidt, Nick Hyland and Ethan Brill-Cass. Stoughton’s Brian Peoples had a strong performance, making his return for the Black Knights after an injury last season.

Mansfield, 7 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final Hannah Reiter scored three goals and added an assist for the Hornets. Mansfield also got two goals from Emma Oldow, while Emma Goulet and Sydney Mulkern each scored once. Emily Vigeant had a pair of assists in the win. Stoughton’s goal was scored by freshman Chinazo Odunze off of an assist from sophomore Cintia Khouzami. Stoughton head coach Tara Daniels also made note of the defensive play of Sarina Hutchinson and Emerson Sprague.

Stoughton, 1 vs. Cardinal Spellman, 3 – Final – Stoughton senior captains Christina Gelin and Riley Bagley worked with Sophomore Mia Bennett to combine for over 70 digs.

Alli Meehan scored the game winner just over midway through the first half. Nicole Conner iced the game with just 3:30 left, scoring off a corner from Christina Hathaway. KP allowed just one corner in the game and didn’t allow a shot on net.

Brayden Downing opened the scoring off an assist from Cassie Ronan and Maddie Hinckley netted her first goal off a feed from Kayla Marshall to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Dimitra Efremidis brought OA back within one eight minutes into the second half and Kendall Clifford scored off a corner to tie the game. Dana Lewandowski put the Panthers back ahead midway through the second half off an assist from Maeve Ledwith but OA had an answer again. Liz Nuss scored on a breakaway with just over eight minutes to play to tie the game. Christina Lucini had four saves in net for Franklin while Katie Vamosi had a strong day in the cage for OA.

North Attleboro, 146 @ Oliver Ames, 139 – Final In a one of the best matchups of the season, Oliver Ames edged North with the top eight players all coming in under 40. Junior Matt Kelley was the match medalist, carding a two-under pass round of 32 at Pine Oaks in Easton. Thomas Walsh shot one over par at 35 while Brady Allbritton and Ryan McGarry each had a round of 36. North Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon carded a one-under round of 33 while Dylan Kane and Thomas Puccio each shot 37 and David Colsanti finished with a round of 39.

Franklin, 2 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Farley Asmath scored both goals for the Panthers, with both coming in the second half. Asmath’s first strike in the 56th minute came off an assist from Hatim Brahimi. Asmath then earned a penalty in the final minutes and converted in the 78th minute for his second goal. Fred Beckmann earned the shutout in net.

Mansfield, 3 @ Sharon, 2 – Final – Mansfield scored a goal two minutes into the game and one in the final minute of the game to clip the Eagles. James Chotkowski scored early off a service from Max Gurnon but Sharon tied it before half. Mansfield opened the second half when James Cooney headed in a cross from Chotkowski three minutes into the second half but Sharon tied the game with just over three minutes to go. But Mansfield had an answer as Gurnon scored the game winner a minute later on cross from Jackson Murphy. Mansfield goalie Jed Tolbert made 10 saves in net for the Hornets.

Stoughton, 1 vs. Norwood, 0 – Final The Black Knights used a late second half goal to edge Norwood and earn their first win of the season. Matheus Santos took a feed from Jordan Asnes and beat Norwood’s goalie from the top of the area for his first career goal. Head coach Aaron Salter said goalie Matt Gallagher played excellent and deserved the clean sheet.

Girls Soccer
Sharon, 1 @ Mansfield, 5 – FinalMansfield had five different goal scorers on Wednesday. Allee Bezeau, Stephanie Kemp, Emma Goulet, Cassidy McMahon, and Hannah Reiter all scored for the Hornets. Emily Vigeant and Emma Oldow each had two assists for Mansfield.

Sharon, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalSharon won 25-18, 25-22, 25-14. Cori Jermyn and Jess Allan led the Eagles with five kills apiece and Natalie Kane had four blocks.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – Canton took the first game but King Philip came back to claim the next three and the win (18-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-21). Sydney Phillips led KP with 12 kills and nine service points while Emma Lopez also paced the offense with 11 kills. Carly Adams had a strong serving day with 16 service points, including three aces while Liv Balduf added 10 service points. Amanda Loewen had 12 digs to lead KP defensively. Canton’s Hannah Jerrier, Nicole Poole (22 asissts) and Erika Lum each had six kills for the Bulldogs.

Foxboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalErin Skidmore led the Panthers with 11 kills and added three aces. Lauren McGrath had nine aces and 15 assists for Franklin, while Meaghan Maguire chipped in with seven kills and a block.

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final The Hornets won in straight sets, beating Stoughton 25-17, 25-15, 25-22. Julia Harrison had six kills and seven service points, Chloe Peters had 29 assists and seven service points and Anna Kemp and Jolie O’Neil each had nine service points.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames got the sweep, winning 25-16, 25-11, 25-18 over North Attleboro. Kayla Raymond led OA with nine kills, five total blocks and three aces. Other standout players include: Senior setter Bridget McCarthy played strong with four aces and 22 assists.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – Canton took the lead in the first half with Andrea McNeil converting off a corner but KP rallied for a pair of second half goals to get the win. Liz Furfari tied the game at the 23 minute mark off an assist from Nicole Connor. The Warriors found the winner with just three minutes left when Alli Meehan scored off a penalty corner from Christina Hathaway.

Foxboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalCaroline Lounsbury scored the opening goal with 17:55 left in the first half off an assist by Cassi Ronan and it turned out to be the game-winner for Franklin. Brayden Downing scored two minutes later on an assist from Annie Walsh and then Walsh made it 3-0 early in the second half off an assist by Maeve Ledwith. Christina Lucini earned the shutout in goal with three saves.

Stoughton, 1 @ Mansfield, 5 – FinalMansfield had five different goal scorers in the win.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames’ offense kept knocking on the door but North Attleboro goalie Liz Morehouse wouldn’t break, notching 14 saves in an impressive performance. “OA had a variety of pressure on the net…flicks, drives aerials and she stopped them all,” North head coach Karen Folan said. Katherine Munley also had a big defensive stop late in the game for North Attleboro. Katie Davenport and Katie Vamosi anchored Oliver Ames’ defensive effort while Dimitra Efremidis and Kendall Clifford played well in the midfield for OA according to coach Abby Tepper, who also noted the strong game by Morehouse.

Attleboro, 184 @ Franklin, 159 – FinalThe Panthers got an even par 35 from captain Bryan Woelfel and a 40 from Eric Civetti. Attleboro was led by Corey McKenna, who shot a 42.

Taunton, 174 @ Oliver Ames, 149 – FinalBrady Allbritton led the Tigers with a round of 35, while Ryan McGarry shot a 36, Thomas Walsh shot a 37, and Tate Hadges shot a 41 for OA. Taunton got a 38 from Mike Volkman and a 42 from Jake Crawford.

Junior Cam Vella assisted on both of the goals while Jack Carroll earned the shutout.

Franklin, 2 @ Xaverian, 1 – Final Franklin rallied from a one goal deficit with a pair of second half goals to earn the win. Farley Asmath scored off an assist from Cam LeBlanc to tie the game while Kevin Hall scored the game winner for the Panthers.

Sharon, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final Francesca Calabraro scored four goals for the Tigers. Julia Roy had the other goal for Oliver Ames. Alex Rabb scored the opening goal of the game for the Eagles, who trailed 2-1 at halftime.

King Philip, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Warriors of Foxboro gave the Warriors of King Philip a big test but KP emerged with a 25-19, 26-24, 28-26 win, one head coach Kristen Geuss described as “hard earned.” Sydney Phillips led KP’s attack with 13 kills while Emma Lopez chipped in six kills.

Franklin, 1 @ Milford, 3 – FinalMilford won 29-27, 25-15, 21-25, 25-13. Kelley Reichert led the Hawks with 11 kills and Ally Zagami had seven kills and 17 digs in the win.

Kate LeBlanc put the Bombardiers in front with an unassisted goal in the first half. LeBlanc doubled Attleboro’s lead in the second half on assists from Eliza Sabilla and Ally Pierce. Jackie Evangelista scored her first varsity goal for Stoughton.

Mansfield, 1 @ Canton, 0 – Final Caitlin Whitman had the lone goal of the game for the Hornets, scoring an unassisted tally midway through the second half.

King Philip, 1 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – King Philip followed the game plan they set in place and executed across the field in a big 1-0 league win over Foxboro. Caitlin Donahue scored the lone goal of the game off of an assist from Liz Furfari.

Franklin, 5 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Senior Alex Sullivan and senior Brayden Downing found the back of the cage in the first half as the Panthers built a 2-0 lead by halftime. Junior Kate Morse had a pair of goals off of corners with assists coming from Maddie Hinkley (her second) and Cassi Ronan. Caroline Lounsbury capped the scoring off an assist from freshman Maeve Ledwith. Senior Sam Hertzberg made a pair of saves, including one on a breakaway, to earn her first win. Shannon Cormier scored Milford’s goal in the game.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – Taunton’s defense had a strong showing but couldn’t convert on the offensive end as North Attleboro picked up the win. Taunton received strong performances from Katie Van Zandt, Annie Tate, Liana Duarte, Bre Conlon, Jillian Pagliuca and Kya Enos.

Oliver Ames, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames continued to roll to start the season with a big win on the road. Sarah Stevens and Dimitra Efremidis each netted a pair of goals for the Tigers with Kendall Clifford, Rachel Stryke and Shannon Cahill each scoring once. Kayla Lozzi had two assists in the win while Liz Nuss and Efremidis each had one helper.

Oliver Ames, 148 @ Stoughton, 181 – Oliver Ames picked up its second win of the season, defeating Stoughton at Easton Country Club. Brady Allbritton led the Tigers with a 36 while Nick Lombardi and Eric LeBlanc each shot 37, and Mark Bissonette and Matt Kelley each carded a round of 38. Stoughton’s Brendan Campbell shot a 43.

King Philip, 157 @ North Attleboro, 144 – Final – North Attleboro senior Robbie Congdon shot a one under par 34 at Heather Hills to lead the Red Rocketeers, who moved to 3-0 on the season.

Foxboro, 199 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Mansfield senior Jason Hindman led the way for the Hornets, shooting a 35, a league-best so far this season. David Norris added a 41 and Madison Haughey added a 44 for Mansfield.

King Philip, 3 @ Walpole, 1 Final – The Warriors dropped the first game (18-25) but rallied to win the next three 25-17, 25-12, 25-20. Gwen Uyrus had 11 kills and three aces, Liv Balduf added three kills and three aces and head coach Kristen Geuss said Josie Rowean had a strong game at the net and serving.

King Philip, 159 @ Franklin, 171 – Final– King Philip’s Sebastian Ladoulis played the last seven holes at two under par to finish with a match low 36 while Mickey Riley carded a 39. Franklin freshman Matt D’Errico, senior Matt Dao and sophomore Bryan Woelfel each shot a 42.

Foxboro, 5 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – Foxboro took a 3-1 lead into half before the Bombardiers came back to tie things up with just over 10 minutes to play on a goal from Zach Rodrigues. However, Foxboro’s Devante Teixeira scored his third and fourth goals inside the final 10 minutes to lift the Warriors. Anthony Barreira assisted on all four of Teixeira’s goals and scored a goal himself. 
Canton, 2 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – The Rocketeers rallied from a two goal deficit with a goal midway through the second half and then in the final seconds to secure a point. Canton senior Joey Basile put the Bulldogs up on an assist from sophomore Ben Waterhouse just over 10 minutes into the game and then freshman Griffin Roach netted his first career goal to make it 2-0 Canton. North replied just two minutes later behind a goal from Zach Matracia and then Gabe Pinhancos knotted the score at two in the final seconds on a free kick.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Franklin, 0 – Final OA sophomore Cameron Vella and senior Chris Romero scored second half goals to lift the Tigers. Max Bamford and Romero each had an assist in the game. Head coach John Barata said Keegan Nutt and Nathaniel Cardoza played great in the middle. Jack Carroll recorded his first career shutout for OA.
Sharon, 2 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – King Philip’s Tyler Mann opened the scoring on an assist from Clay Geuss and then added another goal to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead at the break. Will Weir had the other first half goal for KP on an assist from Cam Mullins. KP’s Paul Kelley scored the lone goal of the second half. 
Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Mansfield’s Jack Reilly scored the lone goal of the game for the Hornets to open the season with a win. Six minutes into the second half, Mansfield’s Brad Eames’ corner found Chris Elsner, who deflected it on to Reilly for the tap in. 
Stoughton, 1 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Taunton’s Sean Crowley put home side up a goal in the 13th minute. Stoughton’s Will Peoples converted from the penalty spot for the Black Knights in the 40th minute to level the game.

Kemp headed home a corner in the first half and then chipped the keeper for the second goal. Milford coach Jay Mastaj said Nichole Dahlgren played well defensively and Emily Duquette made eight saves in net.

Taunton, 1 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Abby Small scored her first goal of the season and the Tigers picked up a season-opening win. Kayla Wentworth had eight saves for the shutout in net. Stoughton’s goalie Marissa Williams also made eight saves in goal.

Elizabeth Hamilton slammed home 15 kills and had 14 digs, Rye Verille had seven kills and four blocks, Nicole Poole had 34 assists in her first start at setter and head coach Pat Cawley said Olivia Devoe had an “outstanding” debut at libero with 24 digs. 

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin senior Hannah Chase had six aces and three kills, Aubrie Kutil had six kills, sophomore Meaghan Maguire collected four blocks and Dayna McCue had six digs and an ace.
